So, Flynn is thrown under the bus, mystery solved. Glad to get that yawner behind us.
FBI Director Comey testified under oath on May 3, 2017 than absolutely no one from the Emperor God Trump Administration tried to interfere or pressure Comey to ease up on his inquiry. No interference, no blocking, stalling, or stifling Comey's probe into the Russia-Trump collusion. Comey testified yet a second time to the exact same thing. So, if Comey's memo in February stated there was interference, then Comey lied under oath. Perjury, a very serious offense. Comey lied! That should be what the headlines should be screaming and we need to immediately investigate Comey's perjury and lies under oath. That is the real scandal. Drain the Swamp.

Since Jeff Sessions (a former Trump campaign advisor) recused himself from the Putin-Emperor God Trump bromance (that allegedly hatched a secret evil plot to make Hillary look bad because she stored State Department Classified Intel on a private server located in a bathroom in Colorado), and Comey got canned, that leaves the #2 man to run the Russia-Donald collusion investigation at the FBI.
Let's look at the number 2 guy. A life long Dem and a partisan. In 2016, his wife received $700,000.00 from Hillary through her bagman Gov. Terry McAuliffe. Terry was was chairman of the Democratic National Committee from 2001 to 2005, was co-chairman of President Bill Clinton's 1996 re-election campaign, and was chairman of Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign. 700,000 clams passed through Terry to #2's wife immediately after Hillary attended the fundraiser hosted by her friend 2008 Hillary Campaign Chairman.

What does the partisan #2 say? Same thing as Comey said. No one from the Trump Administration, campaign, or associate tried to interfere with the investigation. Same with those a Justice. No obstruction.

The thrust of the Russian interference of our election is Russia hacked the DNC and Podestas emails. But, we need to find out why Seth Rich had possession of the exact emails that were handed to J. Assange. Is not hacking the reason for this comedy season??? Is not Seth Rich part of the Russia Hack story? Is not Seth Rich ground zero of why some lightheaded ones believe the Russians hacked Podestas account while working John was working for a private enterprise???????

Me thinks Comey Lied!!!! If Comey lied. Gotta keep an open mind. Is not the emails the kernel at the core of it all? That puts Seth Rich at the heart of it as well. FBI boss committed perjury, insider leaked documents, murder, cash, corruption, deceit, and a perfect example of how absolute power corrupts absolutely.

The Russians hacking a person's emails has a familiar ring to it. It's like Obama and Hillary pulling a story out of thin air and running with it. It is just like blaming Benghazi on some homemade video that nobody ever saw or heard of...on September Eleventh no less. Obama lied, people died!! Hillary lied, Seth died!
Yep, the Russian hacking must be investigated pronto and thoroughly. Leave no stone unturned. Oh yeah, Flynn is a knucklehead for trying to enrich himself. It's never happened before in the history of mankind. Yawn. Now, why did Seth have possession of the same emails in number and substance...the same batches that has handed off to Assange??

Hillary lied, Seth died. Obama lied, people died. Comey lied!!, justice died. Flynn lied, no one died.

Todd Juvinall

Oh and when do we get the reports on your chasing Hillary for her incomes from all those bad actors Paul Emery? I am sure you are simply a uber partisan nothing more. That is why no one cares what you "report" here.

Paul Emery

Fish
If you would have read the article yuou wpould have found that it's Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah Chair of the House Oversight Committee who is the main one going after Flynn.

Paul Emery

It's not the Democrats Todd. If you would have bothered to read the 3:21 Fox news piece I posted you would have found that the allegations are being brought by House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz Republican, Utah

"There was nothing in the data to show that Gen. Flynn complied with the law," Chaffetz said"

Paul Emery

Todd, can't you get it Hillary lost the election, Trump is President. Didn't vote for Clinton Todd. If she committed a crime you might ask the question why don't the Repubs go after her? The have all the power. What's stopping them?

Bill Tozer

Go after Flynn till the cows come home. That would make the Obama Administration very happy. Flynn was deeply hated by the Obama boys and girls. Deeply hated. Flynn was the one who announced that Obama's War on ISIS was all a bunch of hooey. He said we directed our jets fighters to purposely miss their targets, drop bombs in the empty deserts, and it was all show and no substance. All show and no go. We gave ISIS arms and cash and a Get Out Of Jail Free card. Heck, we called them our freedom fighters and rebels against the bad bad Assad government. We put ISIS on our side, ROFLMAO.

Yep, The Obama Administration, John McCain, and the Deep State really really hate Flynn. But he messed up.

So, is that all we got and are ready to impeach Trump now? Flynn? Flynn??? Oh my, that truly had us Deplorable Trumpsters shaking in our boots. One thing about Flynn is for certain. He hates the Intetnational Socialist Alt-Left a hell of a lot more than the lying libs hate him. Flynn hates long haired dope smoking puck buckets and Dems shit for Brains much much more than any bad juju he has with our current magnificent President.

So, after months of total meltdown and 24/7 gotcha games, all the bed stains got iad oftoday is Flynn? Oh my, I think I am laughing so hard I just might wet myself.

So ahead, knock yourself out Paul and go pedal to the metal on Flynn. That will get yet juices flowing. Flynn, the scandal of the century. He's taking the 5th!! The Smokin' Gun! The Turkey connection! Overland Express. You got Trump by the gonads now. Good job.

Sometimes fact is stranger than fiction. Yo Paul, don't be any stranger. Never change. You are priceless.

Paul Emery

Not as big deal, right Bill. He was only Trumps choice to head the NSA. That's largely a ceremonial position. You might call your attendant to change your bed pan Bill. Didn't know you were that infirm. Should have told me. If feel kinda bad taking advantage of you.

Paul Emery

Poor Donald...Even his wife can't stand him. Watch her give him a good swat when he tries to hold her hand.

I can't stop laughing. Oh Paul, stop it, you're killing me! Squirming Trumpsters, ROFLMAO. Oh my, the War is On. I needed a great diversion today. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Paul. Squirming Trumpsters over Flynn?? Paul, you are on a roll today. And to think I said you have no sense of humor! I be wrong. You have outdone yourself today, Punch Drunk Punchy. Bravo! Encore! Encore! Encore! Bravo. Give Punchy an Oscar for today's performance. You have outdone yourself with that one. Squirming Trumpsters because of....drumroll please....because of Flynn. Oh darn, I think I may have cracked a rib laughing. Sweet.

Leakers Caught.
An intriguing scoop courtesy of OANN's Trey Yingst: Apparently three White House staffers have been caught as the sources of leaked classified info, and "multiple people" are going to be fired when President Trump returns to the United States on May 27 following his first foreign trip.

Paul Emery

Just what I thought Todd a palace rebellion. Next comes the firings then the gush of information for an indefinite period of time. There seems to be no loyalty to Trump except for his inner family. If Bannon is dumped he'll have stories to tell and Breitbart will be the vehicle. Lots of fun. Looking forward to it.

Don Bessee

Po' ol' PE seems to forget that 60% of the NSC staff is still 0 holdovers. Drain the swamp! ;-)

Paul Emery

Todd and Trey were referring to "White house staffers which are not likely NSC staff.

Paul Emery

The gusher continues:

"Another account of President Donald Trump attempting to push back on the investigation of his campaign’s ties to the Russian government emerged Monday evening, as The Washington Post reported that the president asked two top intelligence officials to deny any evidence of collusion.

According to the report, Trump asked Director of National Intelligence Daniel Coats and National Security Agency Director Michael Rogers to publicly deny that there is any evidence of connections between Trump’s team and Russia. Those requests reportedly came in late March, after then-FBI Director James Comey confirmed that his bureau was looking into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia.

Coats and Rogers reportedly rejected the requests.

The Post also said that White House officials sought to influence Comey directly:

In addition to the requests to Coats and Rogers, senior White House officials sounded out top intelligence officials about the possibility of intervening directly with Comey to encourage the FBI to drop its probe of Michael Flynn, Trump’s former national security adviser, according to people familiar with the matter. The officials said the White House appeared uncertain about its power to influence the FBI.

“Can we ask him to shut down the investigation? Are you able to assist in this matter?” one official said of the line of questioning from the White House."

The War is On. Quotes from the battlefield:

“Every time we see the words ‘former U.S. officials’ we should keep in mind there’s a good chance the source would be more accurately characterized as a ‘former Obama administration official.’ This doesn’t mean that former official is automatically lying, just that they have a particular agenda for leaking this information, and one that is being effectively withheld from readers.” —Jim Geraghty

"What I have found appalling is the number of leaks that have taken place over the last several months. … The real damage to national security is the leaks. These individuals who still stay within the government and are leaking this stuff to the press need to be brought to task.” —former CIA Director John Brennan

"The progressives understand that most people have so little knowledge of what the Constitution actually says that, amidst all the chatter about a constitutional crisis, it would never occur to the voters to check out the actual document. Otherwise, they would understand that Trump was well within his presidential rights to fire the director of the FBI for any reason under the sun, including Comey’s excessive height. But, then, most Americans didn’t seem to know or care that Barack Obama spent eight years using the Constitution as his own personal roll of toilet paper.” —Burt Prelutsky

Cartoon time.

Former CIA Director John Brennan testified on Tuesday that intelligence officials has “contacts and interaction” between Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and agents for the Russian government.

“I’m aware of information and intelligence that revealed contacts and interactions between officials and U.S. persons involved in the Trump campaign that I was concerned about because of known Russian efforts on such individuals,” Brennan told members of the House Intelligence Committee.

“And it raised questions in my mind whether or not the Russians were able to gain the cooperation of those individuals,” he added. “I don’t whether or not such collusion existed. I don’t know. But I know there was a sufficient basis of information to require investigation by the [FBI] to determine whether or not U.S. persons were actively conspiring, colluding with Russian officials.”

Brennan says he encountered intelligence revealing "contacts and interactions" between Russian officials, people involved in Trump campaign.

Fish, if you knew me you would know that's not my style. Keep trying to come up with something intelligent to say. You might succeed some day.

Gregory

"The problem is Trump has so much to hide he's sandbagging the investigation every chance he can."

That is one possibility. Another is that Trump's campaign did not collude with Putin and The Russians and is acting as any innocent party might, if that innocent party is Donald Trump.

Paul, do you REALLY believe Trump is refusing to release his taxes because it will have the Russian connection's address?

Right back at ya Punchy. But as a real libertarian It was meant as a legitimate suggestion.

Have a cocktail then....seriously Paul you're getting obsessive about Trump....far more than you would have been had Hillary been elected.

Tinfoil hat obsessive!

Todd Juvinall

Paul Emery is wearing a tinfoil hat. Now he is spewing democrat talking points about a "independent " investigator. I have heard that spewed for weeks. And all there is is what five investigatuions going on? So Paul once again is a partisan democrat as he still is registered as one. And a operative for them as well.

Bill Tozer

It not just Paul

You know guys, I read a brief interview by Bob Woodward recently about his take on the press, fakenews, and Trump. While defending the integrity of the press and vital role the press plays in asking hard questions, he made an interesting concession about today's MSM. He said it was the tone...this anti-Trump tone that the media needs to correct to appear objective. The tone.

So, it's not always the words what misguided Punchy pens, it's the tone that screams louder than mere words on my I-Pad. The tone. Sure, not as disturbing as the FUE's now dropped "hee-hee-hee-tee-tee-tee-hee-hee-hee-tee hee, but close enough.

If I was say, Trump, and I knew in my heart of hearts that the Russian collusion hysteria is nothing more than a fairytale dreamed up by the Obama-Clinton team, and after being briefed by numerous heads of the Intel community that there is no evidence or proof, then I, too, would ask those Intel bigwigs to state publicly that there is no there there. With this fairytale repeated daily, it's hard for the President or anyone else to get the agenda done. A derailment. It no secret that The Punch Drunk One just wants Trump out of office. A lesser man than Trump would have thrown in the towel by now. As Gregory pointed out, Trump may be acting exactly like an innocent man would. "Hey guys, I need some help here getting the truth out. Tell them to put up or shut up. Set the story straight and let's move on.

So, what's my point? More than just that biased tone on anything Right from Paul, be it BDS or TARD. Sure, it's OCD, but more than that. It is Paul and his ilk across the board assign nefarious motives to everything Trump does or does not do. Everything, proven or not, rumor of not. Innuendo is to be spot on because it had to be true.

It's a waste of time to point out the Left has done the exact same things with impunity and to a much greater degree than the Right. Total waste of time. If I said that the Clinton-Obama team dreamed up a fairytale out of thin air in spite of massive conflicting evidence to the contrary.....i.e., coming up with the homemade video scenario to brush aside Benghazi, then expect crickets. No skin in the game I reckon. Shoulder shrug time when proven 'people died, Obama-Clinton lied.' A twist of Paul's all caps "BUSH LIED, PEOPLE DIED!" posts of yesteryear than continued off and on through 8 years of Obama.....while not exhibiting the same moral outrage and incredulous contempt for Benghazi or a host of other issues, mostly consisting circumventing the powers invested solely in the Legislative Branch. That pisses the Libertarians off. Too many examples to list due to space constraints.

Bottom line. It's this attaching these horrible motives to Trump that clouds reason and prevents any consideration of seeing things differently.
To them who are blinded by hate and contempt prior to investigation, the only reason that Trump does not release his tax returns is because he his hiding his evil plot with Putin in there somewhere. That is where the smoking gun is! We looked everywhere and it's the only place it could be....and we know it's in there!

Thus the tone, while wearysome at times, is just downstream from seeing only the worse in the Right (and their evil motives to starve granny and enrich Monsanto), all the while doing the blind thang when it comes to the left.

Paul will run over here and say he was opposed to a war or some policy of the Left during the last 16 years and give 2-3 known examples after thousands of examples bashing Bush, Trump, or mostly just the Right in general. So Punchy, hold yer horses. It's not you I am picking on. You are just one of millions who take their clues from above and echo the "breaking news". You don't say one thing that Rachel the Man-Boy doesn't say at MSNBC or on the progressive blogs. You just do their bidding, so you are not being singled out. The echo chamber sounds all the same to me, be it coming from on high or at the bottom of ladder where Punchy is. I say they all make The Bubble their digs.

A room full of State Dem delegates chanting "F**K Trump is cause for crickets. And you are so offended by my language? Hmmm. "I have never heard of such talk" to quote the Left from the Putang Grabbing affair. It's the tone, plus, plus, plus so much more.

Paul Emery

Why do you think he won't release his taxes Gregory ? Do you really believe it's because he's being audited? If not then he's lying right. So you either believe him or you don't. I personally don't believe him.

Paul Emery

Todd

Once again do you believe Trump is telling the truth about the reason he won't release his tax returns.

Paul Emery

Didn't vote for Hillary Bill. Why do you accuse me of defending her. In your view why doesn't the Trump Justice department arrest her? Do you have a clue why?

Bill Tozer

Fair enough PE.. We all accentuate our good points and minimize our own weaknesses and faults. Conversely, we exaggerate others flaws and justify our own. So, it is not surprising that we project that unto others.

Ok, here is my One Wish that I want you to do. I have no control over what you do nor wish the power to control othes, but I have a want, not a need. Hope burns eternal.
My one WISH:

Since Trump won, his wife had been called everything from slut to whore. (Insert applause now). Just once I would like to see you come over here 100% unprodded and by your own initiative and moral dilemma and say, "Hey guys, calling the Melena a prositute and Super Tramp is indefensible"....or if that is too much, just once say "that is wrong, it ain't right."

Trump has been screwing his daughter (insert standing on the chairs ovations), his youngest boy has autism (inset laugher and merriment here), etc. Just once I WISH you come over and say unprodded "I think that was over the top and beneath contempt."

You know, like the time you can barging over here in the middle of the thread yelling, "I thought you were Conservatives! I thought you stood for property rights and indivual liberties and against Big Brother!! George! Oh George, what to you think of them taking away our rights on this urgent matter??"
Well, the matter of life and death that night was the county was going to restrict/regulate outdoor private partieswith live music. Bashes. Something Paul has a conflict of interest over. Best fear tactic was along the lines of "They will ban outdoor weddings!", but I went off point.

See Paul, all you really wanted was for us to be discussing the local matter out of our own initiative. You were confused to why we did think this was a situation worthy of stopping thing and manning the battle stations. Eventually you persisted and got your way. We had to discuss outdoor live music in backyards ordinance. And concerts. And draft proposals. And listen to you verify Sheriff Royal. You got your wish. I won't get my wish in 100 years.

Paul, so, we're back on the tax return angle, are we?

1) no law requires him to release his tax return.
2) he was elected despite not having released his tax return

At this time it appears it's a big [expletive deleted] from Trump. Get over it.

Having given it some thought, I think making one's return(s) public is more of a barrier to entry into politics than anything else... if you've mostly just held elective office and funneled your funny money into campaign coffers, there's no there there.

Trump is not required to release his tax returns and I have neer supported that for any President. There should be at least one thing that is private.

So get that tingoil hat off your head Paul Emery and start being your own man rather than a mouthpiece spewing democrat talking points.

Breaking news Don

A week after publishing a thinly sourced, conspiracy-peddling article that linked slain Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich to Wikileaks, Fox News has issued a retraction and removed the story from its website.

So much for that theory Don

From Fox News

On May 16, a story was posted on the Fox News website on the investigation into the 2016 murder of DNC Staffer Seth Rich. The article was not initially subjected to the high degree of editorial scrutiny we require for all our reporting. Upon appropriate review, the article was found not to meet those standards and has since been removed.

We will continue to investigate this story and will provide updates as warranted.

Paul:
Trump isn't releasing his tax returns solely because it makes libs' head explode and you repeatedly ask why, why, why, why until you get the answer you demand. Just because they are demanding for Trump to release those babie and having a temper tantrum over it, he ain't going to release his returns until his 2nd term and I ain't going to answer your question eith, so there. Go pound your spoon then go pound sand. Ain't telling.

Why why why why did the Russian dipomants pop the corks when Hillary got ground into the dust? Why. Oh yeah, cause all things went according to plan. You know, the Putin-Trump Inc. evil plan. It's all about the oil!

Go pound sand. Boom! I just heard another head pop somewhere around the Great Lakes or Montana. Hard to tell. Never get tired of winning.

Really much more interested in what you think you will find if they are released!

Paul Emery

Fish, Bill

Just testing you as to whether you consider honesty an important attribute of a President. "Don't know! Don't care!" pretty much sums it out. You don't care whether Trump is telling the truth or not. Amazing but that's the way it is. No honesty required of a President from this crew.

Gregory

PE 335

Surprise, surprise, surprise. Just another bogus setup from our own Punchy.
Trump is apparently always being audited.

Paul, IRS forms are not required for presidential candidates and has been voluntary for the past 40. He did file the financial disclosures required (something like 100 pages) and that will have to do for now.

Any news on a smoking gun, some evidence of a crime being committed by Trump & Company? Whining about the tax returns you wanted for Xmas is so undignified.

Todd Juvinall

Trump is doing just fine as is Mr. Flynn. Nothing to see here, move along now.

Gregory

Todd, that's where we disagree. Flynn is not smelling like a rose at the moment.

Todd Juvinall

I am simply saying "where;'s the beef"? on Flynn. If he is proved a scofflaw then certainly send him to the klink.

I'd love an honest president Paul.....do you have someone in mind?

That said there is no way in hell I'd let anybody paw through my business tax returns.

Flynn is having to plead the 5th and is ready to flop for immunity. Also his business records are being Subpoenaed, something you cannot protect with the 5th. He's under investigation for many crimes including lying to the FBI.

"Sens. Richard Burr, North Carolina Republican, and Mark Warner, Virginia Democrat, issued the subpoenas Tuesday to two businesses in Alexandria, Virginia, and sent a note to Mr. Flynn’s lawyers, the Hill reported.

Mr. Flynn had refused the subpoena by the Senate Intelligence Committee for documents on his dealings with Russia, Turkey and other foreign governments, citing the “escalating public frenzy” around the issue.

But the two senators, the chairman and ranking member of the panel, told Mr. Flynn’s lawyers that they can get the documents anyway without worrying about Mr. Flynn’s claim of self-incrimination.

“While we disagree with Gen. Flynn’s lawyer’s interpretation of taking the Fifth, it is even more clear that a business does not have a right to take the Fifth if it is a corporation,” Mr. Warner said."

Flynn is doing the same thing as your hero Lois Lerner did. And you praised her.

Here is more .

So once more we see the depravity of men preaching GOD (ALLAH) and claiming they are the religion of peace, blowing up little girls in England last night. I personally have no beef with a peaceful Muslim who wants to practice their religion. But when mentally ill loser like this suicide bomber thinks he is headed to 72 virgins for blowing to pieces 72 virgins you have to wonder. We in the west mostly believe in the value and sanctity of life. We even have many protecting the zygote. These killers from Islam believe in death. To give up a precious thing unique to the planet and the universe means they are mentally ill. The gist of life and being a part of this special place called earth means nothing to them. They think they will receive some kind of KUDOs from their GOD. Well, I think they will be burning in hell and the best they get there is a soul in eternal pain.

All of you snowflakes that think we should not call a spade a spade as your PC life is so shallow, I say shut up and sit down. Let the big boys take out these scumbags and send them to their nirvana. You can do a greater justice if you simply be quiet and let the adults take it over.

Here's a juicy one from the Trumper

Jan. 16, 2017

Trump told reporters, “I have nothing to do with Russia. To the best of my knowledge, no person that I deal with does.”

That was after he picked Flynn to be his Security guy. There are at least 18 examples of members of Trumps campaign who had contacts with the Russians during the campaign.

From Fox News

"Michael Flynn and other advisers to Donald Trump’s campaign were in contact with Russian officials and others with Kremlin ties in at least 18 calls and emails during the last seven months of the 2016 presidential race, current and former U.S. officials familiar with the exchanges told Reuters.

The previously undisclosed interactions form part of the record now being reviewed by FBI and congressional investigators probing Russian interference in the U.S. presidential election and contacts between Trump’s campaign and Russia. "

Paul Emery

Too late Don. Already been subpoenaed,

"Committee Chairman Richard Burr (R-N.C.) reiterated that all options remain on the table for forcing Flynn to turn over the requested documents — including holding him in contempt of Congress.

“If in fact there’s not a response, we’ll seek additional counsel advice on how to proceed forward,” Burr said at a joint press briefing with Warner. “At the end of that option is a contempt charge, and I’ve said that everything is on the table.”

He was certainly My Marine as we were chanting "5th, 5th, , 5th, 5th, 5th!" in the back party room. Then when Colonel North took the 5th, the whole place broke out in wild cheers of celebration. One of the good few men. Wonder if Flynn will bring a hitch ball as a prop, that is if he even lowers himself to make an appearance.

I thought Ollie North was a true patriot. I once met a man here in 1992 who lived over on the rifge overlooking the Greenhorn Creek. We had a nice talk and he donated to my Assembly campaign. He was also a big donor to the Contras of El Salvador. I got to learn some things I would never have known.

Seth Rich. Funny how a year later the democrats can't find one fact on the "collusion" issue but have tossed aside Seth like a bag of rocks pretty fast.

More from our Lair in Chief

Trump legal representative says in January:

"Just like with conflicts of interest, he wants to do more than what the Constitution requires. So President-elect Trump has decided, and we are announcing today, that he is going to voluntarily donate all profits from foreign government payments made to his hotels to the United States Treasury. This way it is the American people who will profit."

So far not one dollar, peso or ounce of gold has been donated. Hmmmmmmmm.

This one is for Paul Emery:

-- New Hoover Institution Golden State Poll: At the 100 day mark, Californians -- by a whopping 54-35 percent margin -- lack faith that Donald Trump's presidency will be successful, a new Hoover Institution Golden State Poll to be released Thursday shows.

But, but ....

-- Republicans are stronger in their beliefs in Trump's success. In January, 76 percent of the GOP thought he'd be successful, but the poll taken this month shows that figure has risen to 82 percent.

-- Democrats are even more sharply opposed to Trump: In January, 67 percent of Democrats said they believed Trump would be unsuccessful; today, that figure has jumped to 80 percent.

The Golden State poll was conducted April 28-May 4 (before Trump's firing of FBI director James Comey). The survey sample was 1,700 state adults; the full sample has a margin of error of 3.75 percent. Link to full poll here: http://www.politico.com/f/?id=0000015c-3df1-d355-a3fc-3ff1974e0001

Interesting polling information Russ. It could reflect that the Republican party has been declining in numbers in California and those remaining are a higher percentage of hard core Trump supporters.

"The number and percentage of registered Republicans in California has declined steadily since 2000, even as the state’s population has grown. Republicans now represent only 27.6% of registered California voters—just above the 24% who have no declared party preference. Not a single Republican holds statewide office."
