Well, this statue protest thang is what the Lefties live for. It's the best thing that could have ever happened to them and for them. It's really gets them going and they can spout moral outrage til the cows come up and denounce, denounce, denounce. Oh, I can feel their chests getting all puffed up from here.
Makes them feel all superior and gives them the upper hand on winning the Enlightenment agrument. They truly espouse the Greater Good. They have evolved to a higher atrulistic plane. Perfect timing, just when they were feeling all down about themselves, being rejected across the amber waves of grain in election after election. This is the one opportunity to get their message out! They have been granted a second chance! Glory, glory, hallelujah, the truth goes marching on.

Well, I guess I will go along to get along. Toss them a bone. "I am sorry, so very sorry". Actually, it's a no brainer. Who in their right minds wants to be on the side of bigotry, hatred, and intolerance? Nobody. So, to make them all happy, I will say it again. "I'm sorry, so very sorry." Ah, I feel much better now. The burden has been lifted and I see the light.

Hard to debate someone like Paul Emery who reads our denials of support for the loons and says we support them. How is a person loike Emery, educated in America, as dumb as his writings appear to be? The divide I see is caused by him and his ilk for their insistence we agree with them we are all those terrible things they say we are. In my opinion, I blame Emery and his ilk for all the discord as I got to see his pals slicing and dicing people in Berkely this year. But I guess those were my lying eyes?

Paul emery

Wasn'r this about a city council decision to remove a statue ? It was mostly outside agitators Who created the situation Local control is really the issue

Walt

Paul.. Just who gave that city council the idea? Who bitched? Call it what it is.
Southern Democrats trying to hide their past. "sooner or later they will forget what we did."
You complained about our own miners from the past, yet you still live here. You have sponged off their work. And like ISIS demonize that culture, in favor of the hippie culture.

Scott Obermuller

Paul at 11:11 - No, Paul - this wasn't just about a city council decision to remove a statue. That may be the sparking point, but the grievances and hurts run a lot deeper than that on all sides.
And you call yourself a newsman? What a laugh. You just keep your grey old head buried in your tiny little left wing bubble.
This is about agitators and race hustlers and grievance mongers and the politics of never-let-a-crisis-go-to-waste on BOTH sides.
The trouble has been brewing a long time and unfortunately the Democrats and the left see fit continue to stir the pot and continue to pick open old scabs to make political scores. Most every American of African background in this country certainly know all about the history of race in this country. Some have decided to use it as an excuse for poor behavior. Some have decided to move on and take advantage of the blessings of living in this great nation.
There is nothing in this country that negatively affects people who are not Euro descent that will be remedied by the removal of a statue. There is much to be gained by the creation of new statues to honor new heroes.
There are those of us who wish to move forward together in this country united by a sense of pride in what was birthed in this country and carried forward by the sacrifices of all Americans. That doesn't mean we have to agree on everything, but it does involve the cessation of idiotic feuds involving the actions of those long dead. There's plenty of blood and sin on the hands of all sorts of actors in all of this.
The ones who will not forgive will be the ones to carry the hurt and pain.
That goes for all of us.

"Wasn'r this about a city council decision to remove a statue ? It was mostly outside agitators Who created the situation Local control is really the issue"

Any chance you are confusing the recent events with the one from July?

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/klan-members-rally-against-removal-of-robert-e-lee-statue-in-virginia_us_596211c7e4b02e9bdb0d2909

Typical deal with 20 or so old cranky guys with sheets vs. some huge crowd shouting at them vs. the cops.

I'm trying like the dickens to get a handle on the current Charlottesville uproar. Since all newspapers have become editorial broadsheets, I'm not finding much in the way of unvarnished fact. Up next will be the foreign rags, maybe Singapore.

Walt

With Paul's line of thinking,, it's time to topple and turn the statue of Liberty into copper wire to build Teslas.
We don't have that much "liberty" anymore. Especially in this state.
LIBS really don't like "LIBERTY".Can't control those who really have it.
Yup,, lady liberty has outlived her usefulness... Right Paul? Why stop at confederate monuments?

ScenesFromTheApocalypse

another article on July.

re: original post and the first amendment.

The heckler's veto has taken full force, although I expect you'll see a counter-reaction to that over time.

re: Charlottesville – harbinger or just a temperature reading?

Since the streets have been owned by the Left for decades now any sort of opposing force of size is noteworthy.

Given the volatile mix of an overpopulation of both elites and workers combined with the death of civic engagement over time (various reasons: decrease in organized religion, mass immigration, mobile society, smaller or no families) it all seems like harbinger to me. Maybe I'm just seeing patterns in clouds. It's easy enough to graph average wages vs. consumer prices, overproduction of elite (college degrees, size of government, etc.), wealth disparity, against increased social unrest and see multi-generation patterns take place. This might even be a bad one.

OTOH, perhaps our AI Overlords will sweep all the pieces off the table.

That's an interesting detail if true.

Robert Cross

If Nazism was sent to hell as others have posted here and elsewhere, how does one explain what happened in Charlottesville? Those people were not flying the Stars and Stripes. There were armed militias. It looked like Berlin in 1933. How else does one explain why a person would vote for an obvious racebaiter like Trump whose whole campaign was based on anti-muslim anti-latino hate rhetoric? How is that any different than anti-Jew? Blaming immigrants for the country's economic and social woes brought about, not by government regulations or farm workers, but by greedy stockholders outsourcing American jobs to lower labor costs and increase profit, is the same blame game despots have used for centuries to cover their own asses and suppress resistance.

Claiming to be anti-nazi will not get you off the hook for supporting the politicians who encourage the behaviour you are claiming to have an aversion to.

Robert Cross

Scenes 12:39--

probably true..some sources are saying the police and national guard were afraid they were outgunned and stepping in would provoke gunfire. They apparently just watched for at least 2 hours before doing anything.

ScenesFromTheApocalypse

re: Robert Cross@12:54PM

Well, jeez. Everyone who voted for Tangerine Hitler is a Nazi, that should be obvious enough. All stockholders are Nazis. Don't let Nazis off the hook. Punch the Nazi.

re: Anyone else.

Since human nature hasn't changed much, except perhaps for the growth of large trust groups (ie. larger than extended family), I'd say that the main reason behind outsourcing was opportunity. A combination of the componentization of work and the ability to cheaply ship goods. I'll argue that the device producing the largest change to the world at large, even including computers, is the shipping container.

Paul Emery

Walt

Doesn't the City Council (Charlottesville) have the right to do their job as representatives of the people that elected them ?

Todd Juvinall

Sp Paul Emery, your logic then says the Washington DC council can tear down the Washington Monument? You need to do a bit deeper thinking than your usual knee jerks.

Paul Emery

For anyone who doubts the purpose of the protest. From Fox ' especially for Walt

"Right-wing blogger Jason Kessler had planned what he called a "pro-white" rally to protest Charlottesville's decision to remove a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee from a city park."

Todd Juvinall

Robert Cross 1254.

So using your logic you are a communist since your heroes are from the USSR etal. You libs are too funny.

Scott Obermuller

Did the city council run on a platform of tearing down the statue of Lee?
Another example of a liberal (Paul) praising the democratic process as long as the process produces results in line with what the liberals want. The city council has the right to order the statue torn down and the city council also owns the responsibility to deal with the expected trouble that ensued. Why couldn't the city council just leave the statue alone and actually do something productive for the poor of the city?

Scott Obermuller

from the ever amusing bobble-head Cross -"an obvious racebaiter like Trump whose whole campaign was based on anti-muslim anti-latino hate rhetoric?"
Any facts or quotes or anything to back up that little tidbit?
No - I didn't think so.
"Blaming immigrants for the country's economic and social woes..."
Who did that?
Must be fun to operate on pure BS. But you know the adage 'GIGO'!

Walt

Just playing devil's advocate,,, How bout those "pro-black" rallies Paul? Those are perfectly acceptable. Anything "white" is somehow criminal to the Left.
This crap that it's OK for one color to have an accepted "group" but if another group of color can't just because of that color, there is a BIG problem.

Hell dude,, the white guy is the minority these days.

But DO point out in the Constitution, that you have a right NOT to be offended. Good luck with that one.

Pro White Rally? You mean like the Celtic Festival? When is the Miner's Foundry and Nevada City going to remove those awful symbols of Mother Earth's destruction, the friggin Pelion Wheels displayed at both ends of town? Well, the Miner's Foundry is on private property I assume, but what about that monstrously close to where Wells Fargo used to be? It's a disgusting to see that symbol glorifying the raping and pillaging of Mother Earth. Take that f***ing thing down now! And what is up with the Miner's picnic taking place at that symbol of genocide of Native Americans in this area, aka, the White Privilege altar known as the Empire Mine?? Remove it. Bulldoze it back to the sacred soil. Miners' Picnic is code for white British miners from Cornwall!!! Another pro White Rally by the oppressors of Mother Earth and people of color. Take about offensive. That the hell are you people thinking?

The sight of the Pelton Wheel makes me want to vomit.

Walt

Bill..You mean Paul hasn't handed you the keys to his place, and transferred title of all his real estate (all owned by indians at some point in history) to you yet?
He keeps bellyaching about how your people were SOOO abused, yet won't give you ANY reparations.

Gregory

Let me paraphrase Mike Huckabee on the Charlottesville car killing and Trump's reaction: if Trump had stormed down to the CPD, gone to the killer's cell and shot him dead, the Punchys of the world would complain that the caliber of the gun used wasn't large enough to make an adequate and unambigous statement.

Paul Emery

Scott writes:

"Did the city council run on a platform of tearing down the statue of Lee?"

Who knows. Doesn't matter anyway. Elected officials have the right to make unpopular decisions. Look what happened with Measure W, a really stupid decision that cost Nevada County taxpayers over $70,000. Stupid,Stupid, Stupid but they had the right to do it under the General Law rules that govern County Supervisors in California (unless we become a Charter County).

Walt

OK Mulla Paul,, That was put to the voters(W).. I haven't seen where these statues had a vote of the people. Just small group of pissed irritants a LIB was looking to score votes off of.

Bill Tozer

Harbinger or just a temperature reading???? Hmmm. The dead officers got what they deserved!!!!

'"I want to apologize because our local police think I'm speaking about them," she said. "I am speaking about the police out there that has a culture of violence."'

..........I guess it's all the police outside of NC that are the problem......

'"It's a conversation that is overdue," she told The Union Sunday. "Obviously I hit a sore spot. But it's a conversation that needs to happen," adding the whole thing is a concealed political attack from a local group who tries to damage her reputation.

"We will be dealing with them shortly, this is much deeper than what it seems," she said.'

I like the sound of 'we will be dealing with them shortly'. It has kind of a decisive sound to it, just what you need in a leader.

An interesting notion and quite a stack of pictures:

http://www.mercurynews.com/2017/08/13/the-charlottesville-driver-isnt-the-only-one-who-should-lawyer-up/

ie. use the legal system to put everyone in a riot, only those on Team Red natürlich, in pokey. Maybe they can start doing it South American style with sports stadiums.

Paul Emery

Bilol writes:

"Pro White Rally? You mean like the Celtic Festival?"

For new readers, that's what we're dealing with on this blog. Must be Mercury poisoning.

Can anyone recall an attempt at removing the mining artifacts in NC and Grass Valley. If so please educate me.

Scott Obermuller

"Who knows. Doesn't matter anyway."
Well - first off hundreds or maybe thousands know perfectly darn well.
As far as the second line - you just made my point. As long as you lefties like the decision, then the process is wonderful. If a newly installed bunch of local pols suddenly reversed course on MJ laws in Nevada Co with out having discussed their views before they ran, Paul would be screaming mad.

Walt

Call it preemptive Paul. The same damned mindset of tearing down old monuments to the past is alive and well here. I know how LIBs think.
Give the ECO nuts a little time. ( Hay!! They did it there,, we can do it here!! OFF to the BOS to pitch a bitch!!!") The same line of BS that kept IMM out of town.

Todd Juvinall

"pro white rally"? Now let me get this straight. A bunch of blacks can have a "black only day" at different colleges (Evergreen for one) and Latinos can have a "Cinco de Mayo" celebration, Mexican flags and all, and Paul Emery is OK with that. No criticism at all. But a rally called a "pro white rally" is a no-no and racist? OK, got it. What does the word "white" have to do with a political party? Let me know.

Todd Juvinall

Here is a copy/paste from the bigots at Southern Poverty Law Center on their "Jason Kessler" file. Now it appears he started his blog a couple of years ago and published a couple of books on travel. This is cracking me up. He is a local guy there and his sin was to try and unseat a city councilman, black in color. And all hell broke loose. Anyway, read this. Maybe this is a left-wing setup to tarnish the "right"?

"Rumors abound on white nationalist forums that Kessler’s ideological pedigree before 2016 was less than pure and seem to point to involvement in the Occupy movement and past support for President Obama"

Now why would that be?
Frisch?
Frisch?
Emery?
Emery?

Maybe this is all a charade? I can't seem to find much from this Kessler dude that would say the mediass characterization is accurate?

I do condemn any actions that are racist, bigoted and violent. There, the usual disclaimer done.

Todd Juvinall

And just for asking the questions the lefty haters will call those people "supremacist" coddlers. Just watch. That is how they shut down the debate. Sure as shootin!

Scott Obermuller

Todd - a few minutes ago - "I do condemn any actions that are racist, bigoted and violent. There, the usual disclaimer done."
Oh no, Todd - not good enough. You have to blame Bush or Trump for all of it and then renounce all previous personal beliefs and then repent by crawling down Broad Street whilst whipping yourself, saying "I'm a bad conservative".
That will be a good start.
Then maybe you can redeem yourself.
I want to know when the lefties are going to denounce all of the violence, bigotry, racism and hatred that I hear from the 'mainstream' left and Democrats.
The last person that ran on the Democrat ticket for pres was all in for M Sanger, Sen Byrd and BLM.

Walt

Maybe we should give "O" another honor for the great race relations. He isn't called the great divider for nothing. Now don't forget "O"'s pal Eric Holder.. His "my people" comment sure helped smooth things over.

Paul Emery

Todd

I want you to know that this is who your are now on the record as supporting, a group that believes White Genocide is happening in our country.

Here's a quote from Kessler

"[The Robert E Lee Statue] is the first and foremost reason that we're having this rally, is for that park and for that statue. It's about white genocide. It's about the replacement of our people, culturally and ethnically," he said. "And that statue is the focal point of everything."

fish

Looks like Punch-E got his pledge drive letter from the $PLC!

Mo Dees wife must want to open another art boutique.

Paul Emery

Just to clarify the defination of Genocide

"The deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation."

Walt

Just who's getting killed by the 10s,,100s,,1000s? Paul? Just who is doing it?
Just where on American soil is this happening?

Paul Emery

Well that's what Jason Kessler, organizer of the march believes. Once again here's his quote. "It's about white genocide. It's about the replacement of our people, culturally and ethnically," he said. "And that statue is the focal point of everything."

this is who you are supporting Walt.

Scott Obermuller

Genocide in this country is being committed against blacks by other blacks aided by white lefties. Or by white lefties aided by other blacks. Hard to tell the difference these days.
That's why the left needs millions of latinos to come here legally or otherwise to keep voting for the left.
But don't worry - we're going to tear down some statues and everything will be fine.
Walt - you really don't expect Paul to answer a question, do you?

ScenesFromTheApocalypse

I admit that 'genocide' is a poorly chosen word.

I was thinking 'genectomy', although it doesn't have the same dramatic ring.

Gotta love newswarriors.

https://i.redd.it/i1f0aw8g6ifz.jpg

Walt

Do tell Paul,, and removing R.Lee is going to change things how?
Seems the Democrats in the South need to obliterate their forefather's handiwork.
Especially about the part where they lost the fight to keep their free labor.

The ONLY damned thing I agree with is NOT destroying monuments. Leftys and their PC crap has gone too far.

Paul Emery

So you guys actually do believe in White Genocide. My oh my.

Scott Obermuller

So - which group said they were going to be violent and hurt people?
Not the white supremacists. But the lefty group did and was.
So - which group does Paul support?
Free speech means supporting a person or groups right to openly express themselves and peacefully protest and organise against what they feel is or might be oppressing them.
Supporting that right doesn't mean supporting their cause.
This is probably way too intellectual for Paul. A tiny left wing mind wanting simple tiny little answers.
The white supremacists had every right to arm themselves against the violent left. Recent history has shown that the govt will give free rein to the leftist thugs to assault and beat the folks they don't approve of.
The left, once again, has promised violence and made good on that promise.
Paul wants to know if we conservatives support peaceful protest in this country.
We ask Paul if he supports anti free speech violence from the left.

Walt

Seek professional help Paul. You stopped playing with a full deck a while ago.

You got it Scott, Paul no longer comprehends the 1ST Amendment.
Note to Paul. Berkeley didn't rewrite the law governing free speech. ( You can say anything you like, just as long as "WE" agree with what you say.)
We all know you would be a happy guy if we still had a king.

Paul Emery | 13 August 2017 at 05:56 PM

I see you are still projecting and I must say it appears you have a mental disorder, Paul Emery. Where did I say I support them? Nowhere of course. And I already warned the readers that people like you would take my desire to debate this as a support of them. And you fell right in line. Thank you for proving my point. So either you have zero comprehensive reading skills or are simply a left-wing provocateur trying to start fights with your lying ways.

And judging from your comments on these pages it appears you are the one supporting the communists and socialists. Why is that Paul Emry. Why do you hate good debate and resport to to your lies? Are you afraid?

Todd Juvinall

Paul Emery | 13 August 2017 at 05:56 PM

And one more point. The quote from Kessler said there was genocide on "whites". I did not see him saying he wanted to see or commit genocide on others of any race. So tell us, Paul Emery, how a person fearing their own demise is the same as genocide on others? Your logic is corrupt.

It's really interesting to watch the tactics of an essentially non-violent civil war evolve so quickly. I wonder what the endgame of that kind of thing turns out to be.

Paul Emery

That's correct Todd He believes genocide is being enacted on the whites and that means "The deliberate killing of a large group of people (whites), especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation." Amazing that you actually support those that believe that.

Paul Emery

From Meet the Press today. Signer nailed it.

"Michael Signer, the Democratic mayor of Charlottesville, Virginia, slammed President Donald Trump’s “repeated failure” to condemn white supremacist groups, saying the nation isn’t “seeing leadership from the White House” on the issue.

“Look at the campaign he ran. Look at the intentional courting ... on the one hand, of all of these white supremacists, white nationalist groups,” Signer said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” as he discussed the deadly violence that afflicted his city on Saturday sparked by a “Unite the Right” rally.

“And then look on the other hand at the repeated failure to step up and condemn, denounce, silence, put to bed, all of those different efforts just like we saw yesterday. This is not hard,” he said.

“There are two words that need to be said over and over again ― domestic terrorism and white supremacy,” he said.

Reports are sounding like the good mayor encouraged the scumbag antifa/blm to attack the Nazis/clan scumbags. This could make for some very interesting torts. ;-)

Scott Obermuller

Here's Paul's way to deal with reality:
"There are two words that need to be said over and over again ― domestic terrorism and white supremacy,” he said.
That's right - just repeat certain words over and over again.
Like a little puppet or a bobble head or a myna bird.
Just repeat them over and over and over.
Eventually you will believe them without the benefit of fact or reason.
Just repeat certain words over and over and over and over.
Good Lord - Paul is espousing hypnotic brain washing.
The fact is that Trump did denounce violence and hate but Paul is just taking one toke after another and repeating certain words that he has been given over and over and over and over and over ...
The last line of 'Brazil' comes to mind - "he's gone".
Bye bye Paul - too bad you couldn't stay with us and have an adult conversation.
The poor guy never could answer any question I put to him.
A mind really is a terrible thing to waste.

Honestly, you really need to get some mental help. You are now officially "unhinged". And I already called your strategy before you did it. I said that by simply asking for a debate on this you would claim I and others are "for"it. Man, you are simply ill. So once again, tell us how you're saying a man that says white people are being the victims of genocide makes him a purporter of genocide. Please help us understand your mental illness..

And now that you are confessing your desire to see Kim Jong Un be tour President, we see your illness right there. Sorry man, get help.

"the good mayor "

At this point, I'd say that his next steps are governed by hard political reality.

He'll either get buried in accusations about letting things get out of hand, etc. or he can try to ride the dead people for a little political hay. He really doesn't have any choice in the matter but to double down. 'twas always thus.

Whether this whole situation has any more legs than the shooting of the Congressman, I couldn't tell you. The only sure thing here I think is a continuing radicalization of some parts of the US Right. Why this might be is an interesting thing to think about.

re: Todd Juvinall@9:34

"a man that says white people are being the victims of genocide makes him a purporter of genocide."

While there might be a version of Godwin's Law there, at least by innuendo, my guess is that he was saying you are overstating the case.

As a practical matter, those countries with the truly dangerous influxes from the Third World (Italy for instance) will never see native population replacement. I would expect social unrest to crank up well before then.

If it's true, there'll have to be a doubling down on candlelight vigils. Who knows, wait a week for real news assuming there is any anymore.

I figure that it was Putin. As the Green Libertarians say, "tell me about the Russians, George".

Some jury is going to have to figure out what is going on in this guy's mind. A pretty difficult task really.

Meanwhile the Daily Stormer thanks Trump for not singling out White Nationalists or Nazi's .

"He outright refused to disavow.
People saying he cucked are shills and kikes.
He did the opposite of cuck.
He refused to even mention anything to do with us.
When reporters were screaming at him about White Nationalism he just walked out of the room."

I'm not sure what's more pathetic, Green Libertardians trying to tie Trump to the neo Nazis or David Duke trying to glom on to this weekends shenanigans to get himself back in the news!

Upon further reflection it seems that Duke was less idiotic than you Punch! At least he managed to get on TV this weekend.

Paul Emery

For your reading pleasure, Trump drops 4 points in the Rasmussen Poll.

Obviously Fish you have no concern with the comfort the Nazi's and White Supremacists have with Trump as our President.

Punch the socialists/communists were overjoyed with Obama and praised him at every opportunity until they found out he was a wholly owned subsidiary of Big Bank! Did you expect him to answer for their early endorsements?

And you would do well to remember that the difference between the Nazis and communists was that when it came to industrial level killing the Nazis were pikers compared to your progressive forebears!

George Rebane

re fish 935am - and that point needs to be underlined. Communists and socialists even today are the leading killers of their own people. People claiming a Nazi heritage are insignificant in numbers, and truly useless idiots on the world scene whose actions do nothing but provide foci of congealed hate that the Left puts to excellent use to deflect attention from their own manifest sins.

Todd Juvinall

Trump just gave a presser and condemned all those white supremacist's, neo NAZI's and other hate groups. There, all done now, let's move along. All the snowflakes will shut their pie holes, right? He did not say "antifa" or "black lives matter" though. Oh well, we on the right know he meant them too. LOL!

Imagine…..if they had only called it the "Peoples Republic of Germany" and mouthed the proper "for the people" platitudes, the Punch-E(s) of the world would have been perfectly sanguine about any excesses!

re: Nazis and Communists.

As a practical matter they don't seem to be too different, although the Nazis had snappier uniforms. The heart of the matter appears to be the Communist belief that your job and ownership of property will far outweigh allegiance to an ethnic group or culture. It's kind of odd that non-religious people always seem to invent religions, but maybe it's baked in the cake of humanity. Raw power wrapped up in the shroud of a belief system.

In any case, back to C'ville. No comment needed:

President Trump just held a presser and condemned the "white supremacists" "Neo-nazis" and the other who perpetrated the violence this weekend in Charlottesville, Virginia. He did this to stop the lying media who said he did not condemn them specifically. My goodness, the left-wing thugs who were there beating up marchers got a "specific pass" and yet the media says nothing. This exercise in the phony outrage of the lamestream media should open everyone's eyes. The talking heads, even on FOX News Channel are spewing the same mumbo-jumbo. Trump originally condemned the violence by all, but that was not enough for the lamestream and now FOX. But we in the hinterlands know he covered this right. We have common sense. And we know the lamestream is simply a branch of the democrat party. Anything Trump says is parsed and picked apart and judged by these partisan "news" people. Sorry, we don't believe you people and all you do is falling on deaf ears all across America.

Paul Emery

Thanks Fish for the reassurance that the Nazi's were mere "pikers" compared to "progressive forbearers" when it comes to genocide. Unbelievable thing to say but here it is.

Ghengis Khan killed some say 100 million people as the Mongols road to the gates of Warsaw. Paul Emery, would that have been considered genocide?

It would be cool if Paul moved his trolling road show over to the Sandbox thread.

Thanks.

The 20 year old driver in Charolette told a former teacher that he was on Schizophrenia drugs according to a former K-12 teacher of his. Makes sense. Once did a report on the effect of many of these anti-depression, Attention Deficient Disorder, and anti-psychotic drugs for a non-profit's research. For fun and for free. Guess what? Come to find out that the FDA never ok'ed those drugs for minors, ever, and not recommended for non-adults. Bad side effects exasperated the problem in some, duh. That was over 20 years ago and now they pass them out like candy, but I digress again.
Very troubled young man. Schizophrenia is serious mental illness, no laughing matter.

Be that as it may, the Fake News Media will highlight and report that he was a Trump supporter. Trump loves Jew hating, Israel hating Nazi's! Just like our Israel hating progressives. Nazis loved socialism, just like.....opps, another digression.

The broadbrush has begun as easily predicted. Like shooting fish in a barrel Not all succulents are Cacti, but all Cacti are succulents. Not all whales are dolphins, but all dolphins are whales. Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all Trump supporters are Neo-Nazis! Lol. Paint 63 million voters as Nazis and tie us all to David Duke and General Lee. You could see this happen before it even happened. Oh, the order is wrong. First tie Trump to Neo-Nazis, then conservatives, then Dr. Rebane, the us lowly Deplorables.

The Dems keep going back to their tattered playbook. Read the first paragraph, nevermind the second. I am surprised it was not buried in the second to last paragraph.

George Rebane

Re greatest killers of all time, I point you again to 'Death by Government' by RJ Rummel for the 1900-87 period. It is a bit dated because it does not contain the more recently established 100M+ Chinese who perished in Mao's great Cultural Revolution, 1966-76. And, of course, the many thousands of civilians who have died since under totalitarian governments in their internal non-war/combat pogroms.

"Death By Government: The Primary Fact of the 20th Century
The late RJ Rummel revealed a daunting truth: Four times the number of persons were murdered by their governments than killed in warfare."
And all except a tiny fraction of those killed were by collectivist governments. Governments based on liberal democratic forms of governance promoting freedom, free enterprise, and the rule of law killed an insignificant number; almost all by executions subsequent to the exercise of their judicial systems. Government has been and promises to continue as the leading cause of violent purposive death on the planet.

Probably because you didn't condemn Gacy quickly enough.

Maybe it was that picture of him with Rosalynn Carter.

Amazing the minimalism of the Nazi's and the Holocaust by some writers on thie blog. Why is it important to use comparative numbers of Hitler and Stalin? Where did that come from? Weird but mostly sad.

Bill Tozer

Todd, are you defending Nazis?---Pablo Paunchy Punchy
Fakenewsman, a you defending John Wayne Gary?---Todd

Too funny. Somebody please help po pollin Punch-E connect the dots. I can't stop laughing.

ScenesFromTheApocalypse

"Why is it important to use comparative numbers of Hitler and Stalin?"

I'm not sure, as I mentioned in the thread where this kind of thing properly belongs instead of here, where you are polluting the conversation with nonsense. Hopefully this isn't your MO in everyday life. Are you capable of writing seriously at all? At the very least, comb the web for articles that people wouldn't normally run into. or write cleverly. or anything that justifies a use of oxygen.

Given the Green Libertarians tendency to conflate Hitler, Trump, and Republicans into one big pot, I guess that it's just self-defense to notice that there's probably a portrait of Lenin and Stalin in any Democrat's home. The Fascist = Republican meme is pretty handy since it allows those masked street fighters to beat on people willy nilly without a bit of thought in the matter.

The funny thing is that, on average, the generation that fought and died dealing with fascism is far far more similar to grouchy old Republicans than any other modern group. Frankly, the Greatest Generation wouldn't know what to make of a modern SJW, but times do change, just not always for the better.

That's what's sad.
