Ah….got it! That was a cluster of headline links at Drudge today. Still there….rightmost column.

Clue-Sew

Gollllly Gomer, we actually passed a bill!!! The poor saps that voted for Trump are fooled again,,,unless you own a yacht,,,

https://shareblue.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/House-Republicans.jpg

https://www.forbes.com/sites/johnwasik/2017/11/13/how-gop-tax-plan-would-ruin-retirees-underinsured/#3a1a4bd860ad

Walt

Plenty of Bills have been getting past, Clueless,, I see your living up to your new name.

Clue-Sew

Not exactly Dufus Walter,,,sure plenty miscellaneous bills get passed,,, this is major,,,join the clueless club Dufus!!!
https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/browse?status=28,29,32,33&sort=-current_status_date

Clue-Sew

Dufus, what about the pass one, repeal two???

President Donald Trump signed an executive order Monday morning requiring that for every new federal regulation implemented, two must be rescinded.

“This will be the biggest such act that our country has ever seen,” Trump declared moments before signing it in the Oval Office. “There will be regulation, there will be control, but it will be a normalized control where you can open your business and expand your business very easily. And that's what our country has been all about.”

The executive order signing, which fulfills a campaign pledge, comes after the president held a listening session with small-business leaders.

“If you have a regulation you want, No. 1, we’re not gonna approve it because it’s already been approved probably in 17 different forms,” Trump said. “But if we do, the only way you have a chance is we have to knock out two regulations for every new regulation. So if there’s a new regulation, they have to knock out two.”

Clue-Sew

oh,,,is this one???

Trump signed H.J.R. 40 on February 28. The bill, which is now law, repeals an Obama-era rule which prohibited the mentally disabled from being able to purchase firearms. Obama signed the executive action, which mandated that the Social Security Administration submit names of mentally ill individuals to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, following the San Bernardino terrorist attack in 2015.

Todd Juvinall

You really are out of ouch clueless. Over three hundred bills have passed and signed. And the tax reform will be great. You are just a mouthpiece for Nancy Pelosi who droned on and on today and called the R's all kinds of names on the House floor. No class broad. But she has you a no class anonymous democrat mouthpiece.

Clue-Sew

Toddly,,,you sound like a little Trump clone!!!

Todd Juvinall

Yeah, I am a successful man, good looking and lots of friends. Unlike you, a troll hiding in his basement eating cheetos and asking mom to do your undies.

Todd Juvinall

Clueless just got schooled.. OUCH!

Gregory

"The bill, which is now law, repeals an Obama-era rule which prohibited the mentally disabled from being able to purchase firearms."

-Clue-Sew aka buu-buu suspected aka Doug Keachie

You lie, Keach. The Obama era rule wasn't about mental disablity or mental illness, it was a rule that if a senior citizen (like Keach) had problems managing money and had a conservatorship put in place, they'd be placed into the Criminal Background Check system as if they were mentally disabled and violent.

In short, not managing your money well with advancing age does not mean you'd be dangerous with a gun, and was spectacularly uncoupled from the San Berdoo shooting by young moslem parents who were probably 50 years short of the age that was targeted by the Obama era rule.

Both the NRA and the ACLU were united on that one, Keach. Stop lying about it.

Clue-Sew

Didn't lie Gregorio,,,just passing on the info,,,

there is a gross picture of Trump Jr. holding the severed tail of an elephant in one hand and a knife in the other on one of his "hunting" trips to Africa. These are really disgusting human beings that make me sick.

WOW......somebody is having a full on geriatric tantrum! I haven't seen one of those since....well since Punch had a pretty good one a couple of days ago!

Carry on!

Gregory

The folks you got the info were lying to you. Here's what the ACLU had to say... you trust the ACLU, don't you, Keach?

https://waysandmeans.house.gov/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/ACLU.pdf

So stop it.

fish

Would you prefer to see the carcasses of Elephant herds decomposing in the sun due to lack of herd management Punch?

Paul Emery

I mean really Fish, how can you celebrate someone who applauds his slaughter of an innocent elephant by waving his severed tail in front of a camera. Disgusting human being.

Bill Tozer

Paul, yep. Just heard that on Democracy Now! broadcasted by the local news station where you are the news director. Yep, I ain’t into elephant trophy’ hunting myself, but some are. Teddy Roosevelt, the “father” of our nat’l park system sure was, big time. Go figure.

Remember how the Chinese shamefully left our President Obama on the tarmac without the steps (so he had to come out of the belly on the plane) and sent some low level clerk to met our President while the big ceremonial greeting with pomp and circumstance was for some other leader who just landed on the tarmac? I do.

Bet the dope stash on it? I'll take good ol' fuel oil.

Hell Walt I'm perfectly happy with electric trucks as long as they pencil out financially....and don't require Solyndra level corruption by the democrat party! I'd rather that we blow Diesel smoke from locomotives and then short haul electric to final destination.

Douchnozzles like KKKrazy Doug and Frisch can't wrap their heads around the fact that every time a Solyndra or equivalent goes belly up it hurts their cause!

I guess it's more important to pay off the donors!

Walt

Fish. I have leaned that batteries are not trustworthy.
I have tried the "latest and greatest" cordless sales pitch, time and time again. My garage looks like a graveyard of dead power tools. The only things still working, are those with a power cord, or a gas engine.

George Rebane

Clue 852am - Actually, they are not. Their only energy source is fossil fuel. That they internally generate electricity to power electric motors for locomotion is merely a convenient and effective power management scheme. I was not aware that such basics are no longer taught post-Great Society children.

Walt.....all my hand held electrics have been phenomenally reliable! I have a DeWalt......heh....that has soldiered on now for almost 15 years and still works (shorter legs than it once had but still usable). I went to a new suite of Milwaukie handheld drills and drivers because they are supposed to have superior motors! So far I'm not disappointed!

I'm inclined to give the EV trucks the benefit of the doubt as long as the tax dollars don't flow like in the horribly corrupt Obama administration!

I guess my "old" truck is an acceptation to the rule.
I drive a 2002 Chevy 4x4. It's been pretty much problem free.
(water pumps on most chevys are done at 150 thou. that was no real surprise)
Still looks great despite two seasons driving on logging roads

The engine is still fine shape as well, and gets better millage than the 05 Grand Cherokee,(in the shop for a blown head gasket.)

Lets see elec. keep up with that.

Paul Emery,1027

You are a registered democrat and a Al Franken pal. You are on record here as a supporter of him and his vile acts.

The ACLU statement ... from an ACLU address:

We oppose this rule because it advances and reinforces the harmful stereotype that people with mental disabilities, a vast and diverse group of citizens, are violent and should not own a gun. There is no data to support a connection between the need for a representative payee to manage one’s Social Security disability benefits and a propensity toward gun violence. The rule further demonstrates the damaging phenomenon of “spread,” or the perception that a disabled individual with one area of impairment automatically has additional, negative and unrelated attributes. Here, the rule automatically conflates one disability-related characteristic, that is, difficulty managing money, with the inability to safely possess a firearm. The rule includes no meaningful due process protections prior to the SSA’s transmittal of names to the NICS database. The determination by SSA line staff that a beneficiary needs a representative payee to manage their money benefit is simply not an “adjudication” in any ordinary meaning of the word. Nor is it a determination that the person “[l]acks the mental capacity to contract or manage his own affairs” as required by the NICS. Indeed, the law and the SSA clearly state that representative payees are appointed for many individuals who are legally competent.

Good GOD almighty! Hillary is really getting pitiful these days.
" Friday, Clinton claimed “there are lots of questions about its legitimacy” because of Russian interference efforts and alleged voter suppression. She said the Russian “disinformation campaign…wasn’t just influencing voters, it was determining the outcome.” "
Russians? It was fine when she was colluding with them.

"Clinton also blamed voter ID laws and “obstacles” to voter registration for her losses in states like Wisconsin, a place she failed to campaign in."
What? It was too hard to get the dead and illegals to vote?

Accusations against Our Gropper in Chief are making a comeback. This is just a sampler:

Women who accused President Trump of sexual misconduct are speaking out, saying they feel like their stories were forgotten after the election.

“I feel like we were forgotten about and there was no justice," Melinda McGilivray, who accused Trump of groping her at Mar-a-Lago in 2003, told People magazine.

Now how in HELL can they claim "success"? How do they know they didn't cross some wires in the process?

No wonder Senate Minority Leader Chuckie The Clown immediately called for an Senate Ethics Committee investigation of Franken. Makes perfect sense. They used to say (when (Willy Mays played),”centerfield is where fly balls go to die.” Senate Ethics Investigations is where ethics violations go to die. For the past ten years, the Ethics Committee has not issued one single sanction against any senator they have investigated.

“Take, for example, the salacious allegations against former Sen. David Vitter, R-La., who was publicly linked to the leader of a prostitution ring. The ethics committee dismissed a complaint against Vitter in 2008, in part because it happened before he was elected.”

"The language would exempt owners or leasers of private aircraft from paying taxes on certain costs related to the upkeep and maintenance of the jets, according to a description from the Joint Committee on Taxation.

Applicable services include support activities related to the aircraft itself, such as its storage, maintenance, and fueling, and those related to its operation, such as the hiring and training of pilots and crew, as well as administrative services such as scheduling, flight planning, weather forecasting, obtaining insurance, and establishing and complying with safety standards," it says.

First, all the jobs mentioned above are middle to lower middle class jobs. No one gets rich being a lineboy (refueling aircraft)... and what it looks to be doing is equalizing shared ownership companies like NetJets with the taxes paid by traditional corporate ownership by really big companies: they don't pay taxes on internal spending. It's overhead expenses of keeping the asset usable and airworthy, not a value added. And most all the money goes into blue and pink collar paychecks, including the pilots.

I get it though... private jets are such an extravagance when there's the Grayhound bus terminal and Amtrak stations across the country.

I did cross a NetJets pilot picket line once in good conscience: it was at Las Vegas Henderson Airport (a National Business Aviation Ass'n convention was in Vegas and Henderson is the bizjet airport) where my single engine piston aircraft was tied down less than half the time... I got a laugh out of my fellow pilots by saying I was so poor I had to fly my own plane by myself. None of them were rich either.
