Paul, from the link provided to substantiate your indigence over private jet owners getting a tax break:

"The language would exempt owners or leasers of private aircraft from paying taxes on certain costs related to the upkeep and maintenance of the jets, according to a description from the Joint Committee on Taxation.

Applicable services include support activities related to the aircraft itself, such as its storage, maintenance, and fueling, and those related to its operation, such as the hiring and training of pilots and crew, as well as administrative services such as scheduling, flight planning, weather forecasting, obtaining insurance, and establishing and complying with safety standards," it says.

First, all the jobs mentioned above are middle to lower middle class jobs. No one gets rich being a lineboy (refueling aircraft)... and what it looks to be doing is equalizing shared ownership companies like NetJets with the taxes paid by traditional corporate ownership by really big companies: they don't pay taxes on internal spending. It's overhead expenses of keeping the asset usable and airworthy, not a value added. And most all the money goes into blue and pink collar paychecks, including the pilots.

I get it though... private jets are such an extravagance when there's the Grayhound bus terminal and Amtrak stations across the country.

I did cross a NetJets pilot picket line once in good conscience: it was at Las Vegas Henderson Airport (a National Business Aviation Ass'n convention was in Vegas and Henderson is the bizjet airport) where my single engine piston aircraft was tied down less than half the time... I got a laugh out of my fellow pilots by saying I was so poor I had to fly my own plane by myself. None of them were rich either.

Make that indignation, not indigence. Better yet, indigent indignation.

Todd Juvinall

Paul Emery does not understand economics or unintended consequences. That is why he has to still work at his old age at a local little FM station.

Paul Emery

Fancy attempt of justifying tax breaks for the rich Gregory. Do you now any middle class people who own Jets ?

I don't see any provisions in the Pubbers tax plan to assist me in maintenance and upkeep of my Dodge Van which I use to haul sound equipment.

Paul Emery

re-write

Dodge Van which I use for camping.

Todd Juvinall

Keep posting your blather as you still don't get it. Amazing.

Gregory

I know middle class people who work on jets, Paul. And I know middle class people who travel by private aircraft.

Perhaps if owning a van was burdened with sin taxes you'd feel differently:

"This provision in no way cuts taxes for private jet owners," said Jennifer Donahue, a spokeswoman for Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) who sponsored Senate legislation on the matter.

Bill Tozer

Before everybody gets their “the rich don’t pay their fair share” timeless bullet points out, let’s see what is the final product looks like. While pondering the horrid tax break for the filty rich’s private jets (excise tax), keep in mind that the provision was introduced by an Ohio D in the House and an Ohio R in the Senate. Must be a Ohio thang. Now boys, neither the House versizon nor the Senate version has gone to the reconciliation committee and has not jointly been sent to Trump’s desk....yet.

Yes, any tax cut is immediately opposed by the Dems before even contemplated. They don’t need talking points in reality. It’s so ingrained in their souls that they can, will, and do spout the opposition bullet points without even thinking. It’s as natural as breathing and blinking to them. No looking at the script necessary, it’s the tried and true timeless knee jerk reaction. The Left hates tax cuts, the Right loves them. Sausage making time.

One of the House’s first versions omitted the child adoption credit. Don’t know if it was a simple omission, or an evil plot to kick the orphanes onto the streets to die. Either way, I heard that and said within myself, “That is just a draft. Long way to go, many rewrites and fine tuning before it even leaves the House. Then, what the Senate does to the bill is a whole new ball of wax. Haven’t a clue if the adoption tax credit is in or out....for now.

I personally like the increase in the standard deduction for us regular folks. One version is it doubles the standard deduction, which is a nice big fat tax cut for those living check to check and very family friendly. Wait and see. There is always rumors of slashing 401k contribution limits, slashing the 529 caps, eliminating the home interest deduction, etc. This year is no different.
——————-
The sky is falling!! 20 million folks will die on our streets. Funny, 20 million folks did not die on the streets before Obama and apparently neither after Obama. Evil filthy rich and their private jets. I am aghast. Hmmm. The only thing Bernie asked for when he lost to Hillary was a private plane. That was a bargain and they gladly gave him a private plane, thanking their lucky stars for such a cheap bargain. Heck, Hillary wanted 13 million from Obama when she lost in 2008. Obama balked at first and Bubba blew a gasket. Retire her debt, now.
——————
In other news, Bernie announced that after looking at tax reform, he was going to sell one of his new vacation homes and give the proceeds to the poor,.Just joking, that was fake news. He would never have his own skin in the game, neither would Obama nor My Gal, nor the dude feeling sorry for himself (with a bad case of the “I Wants”) thinks the government should help him take his next Vay-Kay.

George Rebane

PaulE 1025pm - the 'rich' flying private jets detract nothing from the non-rich; in fact, they benefit those as pointed out above. It appears to me that you are doing nothing more than expressing the usual and mindless class envy of the Left to assuage your sense of achieving fairness (social justice?) even if it means that all will then be less well off. Am I missing something?

Paul Emery

Why don't I get a tax write off for my recreational van George?

fish

Now that’s one funny re write! Ironically Punch if you use your van to haul equipment to a paid gig you probably can pursue a write off! Speak to your local tax professional for assistance in this matter!

Todd Juvinall

Yes Paul Emery, if you are using the van for business you have the possibility to write it off. Take FISH's advice. My goodness, all those years. You could have has a new dishwasher in your tiny house!@

Paul Emery

I have two vans Scott. One for work and one for recreation. I'm talking about my recreational van.

Paul Emery

Don Bessee

That's if the po' ol' fakenwesman has enough itemized deductions v the new higher individual standard deduction @1108. That's presuming he actually has enough taxable income to even pay federal income tax. Is pony tail maintenance a deductible expense? ;-)

fish

Posted by: Paul Emery | 18 November 2017 at 11:32 AM

Why would you expect a write off for a recreational vehicle Punch?

Gregory

George, the bone tossed to NetJets and other fractional ownership companies just gets rid of a tax on middle class labor used by fractional aircraft management that isn't paid by the really filthy rich owner/operators that Paul hates even more. A small unfairness in the tax code but it has "private jets" in the story which means class envy will rear its ugly head.

Paul, you own *two* CO2 spewing vans? My gawd... and KVMR listeners know this?

Todd Juvinall

That is why he has zero creds on the economy here.

George Rebane

Gregory 1200pm - Yes, but are we talking about anything else here besides a normal business expense deduction to reduce taxable earnings? Paul's sentiments on the matter are well known to me (and probably other readers).

Bill Tozer

Two vans leaves a pretty big carbon footprint. I hope they are electric vans. I suppose private aircraft is never used for business, right? Can’t blame the private jet owners. Buying a business class ticket and standing around in a commercial airport for a couple choirs is a collusual waste of valuable time....not an efficient way to conduct business.

Bernie got his private plane and a new lakefront vacation house. Yes, I envy the filthy rich.

Paul Emery

Because that's whats proposed for luxury jets for he wealthy Fish.

Walt

What? Paul drives a gross polluter? TAX HIM! (feel better Paul?)

Again Punch....private jets....owned by business for business or owned by wealthy people for fucking off on the weekend? You really need to be specific!

Walt

So Paul. You all for banning the ownership of private jets?

Walt

Just what year is that van Paul?
I could say the same about my old Jeep. It "passed*" the smog test too.. To 1978 standards,,,(the year it was made "standards")
Yet is a "gross polluter" by today's standards.

Your story is full of holes.

Paul Emery

2001 1995

Gregory

it ain't tax write-offs being proposed, Punch. Try a'gin.

Paul Emery

Gregory Can you tell me the difference between a tax break and a tax write off?

If you're one of the lucky Americans who owns a private jet, don't fret. Republicans have your back—in the form of tax breaks.

The new Senate tax bill will give those who own or lease private planes breaks on the amount they pay to companies for maintenance, storage, fueling and even when they want to hire pilots and a crew onboard.

The proposal is tucked in the middle of the controversial bill's latest version, dubbed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. The House approved the bill Thursday and it's now headed to the Senate.

http://www.newsweek.com/republican-tax-bill-gives-private-plane-owners-tax-break-714381

Walt

Yes Paul, in Ca. that's a gross polluter.
But since you won't believe me, give CARB a call. See what they say.

Even if you buy a new car. (like a Mustang with some actual horsepower) there is a gross polluter tax. Count yourself lucky.

Walt

Now all of a sudden it "rich Repubs?" LOL Paul!!
Seems the most with all the money these days are LIBS.
Forget the whore of Wall St? All the breaks "O" gave them with health care?(waivers)
Your aged memory is showing again.

Todd Juvinall

Lucky Americans to own a private jet? What does that mean? Oh, the person owning the jet paid for it? Like when you pay for the new guitar? And what about all those men and women that built it and then maintain it? Are they lucky? Or hard working middle class? You really have no clue, do you?

Paul Emery

Can you define a gross polluter for me Walt. My cars have very modest smog outputs and require no special catagory as of this year.

Bill the Tozer

7 out of the tip 10 wealthest nembers of Congress are evil filthy rich...Democrats. Rch Repubucans? Paul Emery

Trump claims that the rich won't benifit from his tax plan.

“The wealthy are not getting a tax cut under our plan,” Gary Cohn, Trump’s top economic advisor, said on Good Morning America.

Is that true or is it a lie Gregory?

for example

The federal estate tax is a tax on property including real estate, cash and stocks, that is transferred from deceased persons to their heirs. The catch is only the wealthiest estates in the United States pay the tax because it’s levied against those whose total estate exceeds a certain exemption level.

According to the Joint Committee on Taxation, 99.8% of estates owe no estate tax at all, leaving the estates of 0.2% of the wealthiest Americans to pay up.

Is elimination of that tax not a tax break for the wealthy?

Bill Tozer

Stop the class warfare....stop the class envy!

http://freebeacon.com/politics/major-dem-donor-democratic-partys-message-effin-wrong/

Gregory

Punch, you're being shallow, ignorant, superficial and lazy.

It's a normalization of tax regs that doesn't punish fractional ownership/management companies over corporate owner-operators as far as I can tell, Paul. Airplane owners don't get a tax break or a write-off which also has a specific meaning. AFAIK.

It was promoted by a DEMOCRAT::: "This provision in no way cuts taxes for private jet owners," said Jennifer Donahue, a spokeswoman for Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) who sponsored Senate legislation on the matter."

That was from the link you shared but, once again, apparently didn't read.

"This provision in no way cuts taxes for private jet owners"

What part of "in no way cuts taxes for private jet owners" don't you understand, Paul?

Bill the Tozer

....
he moves on to the death tax

Paul Emery

Of course I read that Gregory. The Dems are equal to the Pubbers when it comes to taking care of their corporate supporters.

Not so sure about your corporate only view walt. Can you explain this?

"People who lease aircraft for more than 31 consecutive days also would be eligible for the exemption. The tweak wasn’t included in an earlier version of the Finance Committee’s tax plan but was introduced in both the House and the Senate in February, with bipartisan support."

It makes the world go round. So your peeved that your not rich. (and who's to blame for that?)
Don't like rich people? Well I DO! They sign paychecks! When was the last time you knowingly worked for a person that was broke?

You want to know what a gross polluter is? Ask CARB. They are the leading, self proclaimed authority on that.
You have no idea how much CARB costs the "little guy".
CARB has put PLENTY out of business, because of CARB regulations.

Come next year, we can't use our perfectly good backhoe anymore.
(legally) We are MANDATED to get a newer one. The same goes for one of our dump trucks.
So until you have a clue, stop bitching.

Paul Emery

Our liar in chief is caught bluntly on this one.

Trump has claimeed that his tax plan will not enhance the wealthy yet he proposes to eliminate the estate tax that may save his family a billion dollars Is he l;ying or what?

"As Steven Mnuchin, President Trump’s Treasury secretary, bluntly declared last month, “Obviously, the estate tax, I will concede, disproportionately helps rich people.”

As it is now, the estate tax affects a small set of wealthy Americans, applying only when someone leaves assets worth more than $5.49 million to heirs. Together, parents can leave $11 million to their children without paying a penny in estate taxes.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/16/business/economy/estate-tax.html

Still, one thing that would give the Trump family a tremendous boost is eliminating the estate tax, which claims roughly 40% of the richest's assets upon their death. Unlike most well-lawyered members of the Forbes 400, especially ones who are over 70 years old, Donald Trump retains almost complete ownership of his fortune. To date, he's transferred very little to his kids. That means that if he dies, Ivanka, Tiffany, Donald Jr., Eric and Barron would face an estimated tax bill of about $1.2 billion--unless President Trump does something about it first.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/mattdrange/2017/10/17/why-repealing-the-death-tax-could-save-donald-trumps-family-more-than-1-billion/#39bba1305b17

It's OK Paul. The "rich" you bitch of, pay the most. But I'm sure you want tax cuts for those that really don't pay any... Right?

Billionaires and millionaires and private jet owners, oh my!

Paul Emery

Just saying that Trump was a total liar he said there would be no tax cuts for the rich Do you disagree with that ?

Walt

LOL! Paul is all of a sudden concerned that he may have been lied to. " If you like your Doc. ....."
I have heard both Paul, "yes they do", "no they don't".

Somewhere "fairness" is the Paul bottom line. Life ain't fair, and neither are taxes. So is it fair that 20% of the population pay 80% of the revenue? While at least 40% don't pay any?
To be "fair", everyone should pay something.

Any tax reduction anywhere is good. How bout the government stop pissing away money?

George Rebane

Can anyone inform the rest of us why it's morally proper to confiscate a major portion of a family's assets - all which have been properly acquired and taxed in the process of their accumulation - upon the death of a person who has spent his life lawfully working for the benefit of his family, society (e.g. his employees), and paying enormous taxes to the state in the process in order to build his estate?

The Left's refusal to answer this question actually delivers the correct and strong answer that 'We can do it because we have the guns, and we will kill any of your heirs who would defend their inheritance and not pay us what we demand.' It would be revealing if some liberal would deign to even debate this truth, but don't hold your breath.

Paul Emery

So George why didn't Trump Tower stock at the beginning instead of saying his taxes would not benefit the wealthy in anyway Did you consider that a lie ?

Bill Tozer

Liars are my kind of people! It’s like going home for the holidays.. Liars, cheats, gypyies, tramps, and thieves....some of them millionaires and one was so bad, they had to write special laws for the NY Stock Exchange just because of him when he cornered the wheat market around the turn of the century......late 1800’s. One rascal was a famous political cartoonist that got run out of town, one was a tailor whohttps://youtu.be/1K0l-xPhWzshad the Queen of England order his head on a platter for making her rather risqué undergarments. Queens don’t like wardrobe malfunctions, I reckon. One liar 28 year old dude snatched a 16 yearold girl, threw her in the back of a jalopy with the girl’s crying mother chasing the car down the street. He floored it and drove the crying Gal all the way to California. Took days. That be my grandparents. And one was accused by Honest Abe Lincoln as the little woman that started the Civil War when Lincoln met her. That was a lie. How could a fictious book start a massive war?? That don’t add up, but I digress. They call Conservative Blacks “Uncle Toms” to this very hour, a nice legacy . Uncle Tom liked Mr. Moneybags and Liars and so do I. And that is the good wholesome side of the family. We won’t talk about what the savage side done did. Not pretty.

Dems have never seen a dollar floating around out there that they did not lust for. An unspend dollar is unacceptable to them. They think they have a say in what I or you make, like they are some kind of arbiter over how much money is I make is enough or how much is too much. And they really resent/despise the successful, the rich, and blessed....unless it’s one of their perv airhead movie star spokesperson multimillionaires in Hollywood or some condensing bubble boy author of some Socialist (Commie Lite) Manifesto. They want all the money, especially the dollars they have yet to get snatch out of your back pocket.

Greed, envy, bitterness, blame, and self pity. That is how the Left looks at the successful. Rather than trying to emulate the enterprising, they seek to destroy them. Golly, Paul, another link that you didn't read and understand.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-11-17/private-jet-owners-poised-to-get-tax-break-under-senate-gop-plan

Did you notice... that big private jet tax break ... is expected to cost the treasury... $5 million a year. Well, less than $5 million a year. About a millionth of the money the Feds collect every year. And you've been wasting your time blathering about how it's a giveaway. Private jets! Private jets!

It also doesn't apply to owners of the jets who use their airplanes themselves. Like Trump. He already buys fuel and pays taxes on the fuel. And that's how I pay federal taxes on my airplane. In fact, it's the only Federal fees I pay to fly.

There are about 12,000 privately owned jets in the USA. Maybe 1,000 will get this break (? a guess) that are managed by a third party for use by multiple owners or long term charters. That means... maybe they'll (meaning the management companies) get a break of $5k per aircraft that will probably do more for the folks they hire to fuel the planes. Make the shared managed model a bit more successful. Easier to keep track of and bill, too.

Paul, you are such a bloody one-dimensional fool.

Bill Tozer

George, why o why didn’t Trump tell the truth from the beginning? The million dollar question. Why, George, why? I am curious, George. Curious George. Why, George, why?

I dunno. This may sound far fetched, but maybe the answer is the ability and authority to levy taxes lies exclusively within the sole purview of the US Congress. Now boys and girls, Trump is what is known as a ‘President’. Presidents’ authority and prohibitions lie in what is known as the Executive Branch of Government. Congress’s authority and probations lie in what is known as the Legislative Branch of Government. There are three branches of government, FYI. The Legislative Branch of a Government is often referred to as “Congress”, another FYI. More information regarding branches of government and their sole powers are found in a document known as ‘the Constitution of the United States’.
The Legislative Branch of Government is the only branch of our federal government that can write, levy, or rescind taxes. The President had no such authority to tax the rich or give the gawd awful rich a tax break, nor write tax law.

Did I get closer to answering Punchy’s query? Did I George, did I? Just curious George, did I? I could be way off track with my crazy ideas and broken thinker.

ArchieBunker

Trump is correct. He will not benefit from the Death Tax repeal. He will be dead when his kids are dancing in the family treasure vault.

Posted by: Paul Emery | 18 November 2017 at 10:25 AM

Hmm. Well, if the vehicle is used exclusively for business purposes, one can write off mileage, maintance, and even depreciation. Even vehicle licenses, taxes, and reregistration fees on Schedule C attached to the1040 tax form....unless one works under the table and local clubs pays Punchy cash for singing. Opps, strike that. Even if paid in cash with no receipt, that income (money or any thing of values exchanged for services like free drinks (including the barter system) MUST be declared. When anything of value exchanges hands, it’s is called an monetary/economic event, subject to taxation, if applicable. If not declared, it is known as tax evasion and tax fraud, if and when one files taxes. Self employment income has many off setting write offs. Punchy clearly was talking about a vehicle used for business purposes as evidenced by his post above. No ifs, ands, or buts about it .

Let’s turn the page, shall we? First the rewrite, then a clarification, then the confusion.
“I have two vans Scott. One for work and one for recreation. I'm talking about my recreational van.”

Posted by: Paul Emery | 18 November 2017 at 11:32 AM”

Ok, any one can write of certain portions of vehicle registration fees for their personal vehicles. It’s usually not much and most just take the standard deduction. I am so confused now. Equating “tax write offs” for business use of “aircraft” with one’s personal use of a camper or van down by the river or a private aircraft is sort of muddying the waters. Buying a car or plane of train or boat for personal use in one thing, buying it for business use is another. I could be wrong. It is so unfair and Punchy wants his...for his personal vehicle. Well, never hurts to ask. Old Jewish saying: “Don’t ask, don’t get.”

I'm not going to bother Punch any longer about these things! As mentioned, his argument follows the logic of the teen aged girl....which is to say he employs no logic at all!

His madness should pass after a true stalwart and an honest representative of the people is elected.

Fauxcohantas perhaps!

The tax thingy for aircraft in the tax bill isn't about write-offs on corporate or individual income taxes... it's the collection of excise taxes on certain services. It's whether privately owned airplanes that are managed by 3rd parties for multiple owners buy fuel burdened by federal taxes like individual owners, or whether they pay excise taxes on storage, maintenance, crew training, etc. and buy fuel not taxed by the feds like airlines.

That's all. Nothing like the bullcrap that's been flung by folks who think all pilots are rich. While that is arguably true for anyone who owns a jet or turboprop aircraft, that's no reason to cheer a quirk in the codes that treat fractional owners differently than owners or owners in traditional partnerships.

Did anyone else follow the Newsweek link Paul posted? How far the mighty have fallen. They got virtually everything wrong in the story.

Paul Emery

So now it is firmly established by the RR Circle Jerks that honesty is not a necessary criteria for an honorable President. We can move on from there to something else.

Well when you find an honest politician let alone an honest president you get back to us Punch.

Todd Juvinall

Sure Paul Emery, what ever you say. Now let's move on.

Gregory

Punchy 1057

Bizarre conclusion, there, Paul.

Gregory

Punchy 1057

In other words, you're tired of getting beat up for getting so much wrong, so it's time to declare victory and command everyone to move on.

Let me get this straight,,,Leeann Tweeden used to work at Hooters,,, was a lingerie and nude model,,, humped Robin Williams and smacked his ass during a USO tour event,,,grabbed the band guitarist's ass at another USO event,,,grabbed a serviceman and planted a wet one on him,,,did she ask,,, was tongue involved???

AND TRUMP GOES AFTER FRANKEN INSTEAD OF MOORE???

Trump just reminded everyone that he is just like them!!!

You cannot make this stuff up!!!

Gee Willikers,,,I wonder why Franken thought Leeann would be a good sport when it came to clowning around in the way Leeann is complaining???

George Rebane

re Trump's "honesty". Sure looks like we learned another thing about the liberal mind. When someone (say, the president) promises his best efforts to deliver something, and it doesn't come to pass despite his best efforts, then the sumbich is labeled a "liar" by his enemies. That is either cynical or exhibits a dreadfully deficient understanding of how the US government works. ALL presidential candidates have made 'promises' during campaigns to achieve goals that the Constitution clearly states he cannot do without cooperation from at least one other branch of government. That is just the nature of campaigning which is intended to communicate the mind, druthers, and best efforts of the candidate. Everyone who passed high school civics knows how to interpret/understand such campaign claims.

I don't know if I like this guy Alex Azar. Is it a good thing for Americans to have an industry insider running HHS? Will he work to lower drug prices? Will he be big pharma's tool?

Remember.....the progressive left informed us that we weren’t allowed to Slut Shame or raise questions about prior questionable behavior!

So you can just suck it Doug!

1) If anything we learned from the Bubba years, it’s that character and/or personal lives do not matter. Think the operative word from those days was “compartmentalization” as well as a word I had to look up because I was unfamiliar with the term back then: “amoral.” Bubba possessed the ability to compartmentalize his life and his personal life had no bearing on his job or qualifications as President of these here United States of America. William Jeffersonson Clinton was not immoral, not moral, but rather amoral. Ok, whatever you say......

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compartmentalization_(psychology)

My, those sure were different times. Look how far we have come. You’ve come a long way baby...and you are not going back. You go girls.

"If a senator drove a car into a river and left a woman there to drown and didn’t notify the police, would that be considered resignation-worthy now? Or are we still not to that point?” —Frank Fleming

More random quotes.....fit enough for the Sandbox.

Honest? I need to look that word up. Hmmm.

“Certain elements of the FBI and of our state cannot stand, or even worse, accept that the Latino kid from Union City and Hudson County could grow up to be a United States senator and be honest.” –Sen. Bob Menendez

Revenge? Hmmm, sounds like something a local councilperson said...once upon a time:

To those who were digging my political grave so they could jump into my seat, I know who you are, and I won’t forget you.” —Bob Menendez

Stating the obvious (and 20 years too late): “Yes, I think that [resignation] is the appropriate response.” —Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand on what should have been Bill Clinton’s plight

The BIG Lie?
“[Bill Clinton] didn’t get away with anything. … The country forgave him.” —CNN’s Paul Begala

Hypocrite or spot on? He sounds like he knows what he is talking about.....

“According to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, at least 25 percent of American women say they have experienced sexual harassment in the workplace. And recent high profile revelations about abuse … demonstrate that we are far from addressing this issue on a broader scale. So I urge my Republican colleagues to reconsider their support for this resolution. I urge them to not force vulnerable women who have been wronged into the dark and into forced arbitration."—Sen. Al Franken in March. (Tozer note: That would be March, 2017, FYI)

Walt

LOL!!! the Progressives here all of a sudden bitch about dishonesty?
Just where the fu*k have they been the last 9 years?
Every one they have elected is more crooked than the roads of Alta Sierra.
We all knew "O" was lying,, his lips were moving. Hillary has yet to even slow down!.

"AND TRUMP GOES AFTER FRANKEN INSTEAD OF MOORE???"

Most folks noticed the GOP supported the other candidate in the primary, including Trump.

Bill Tozer

Mr. Gregory @ 10:52 am.

Sir, I got it the very instant you first posted it. Jointly owned/ 3rd Party management of aircraft. No problem. As I often do, I decided rather than repeat the facts as you clearly stated, I lowered myself down to Punchy’s level and tried to point out some things from Punchy’s point of view (worldview) using his own words and arguments. Yep, got it loud and clear the first time...nothing to do with an individual owning his pleasure craft and getting special treatment because, and only because, he/she/it is filthy rich...evil rich.

In a antidotal story, my own brother bought an airplane for 8k a few years back. Not that he wanted or needed the aircraft, but simply because the instruments on the plane he purchased were worth about 15-20k, a price he could not afford or refused to pay for better instruments to upgrade his own aircraft. He has always been that way with money..... He just bought a brand new, 2016 model motorcycle sitting in some Honda dealer’s showroom hundreds of miles away for a ridiculous price that was so low, one would think it was a misprint at first glance. A Honda 1450 (? ) or something. Why did he purchase it? His work charges 28 bucks a month for employee parking, 8 dollars a month for motorcycle parking, and free bicycle parking. He did it to save 20 bucks a month. Now, he is saving the full 28 bucks a month by parking in the bicycle area (always half empty) and it’s ok with his employer. Gotta be a wise steward of your pennies. :) Gotta to save on fuel as well......

Waltz,,,GeorgeR just edjakated you that all politicians '''lie''',,,tell the huddled masses what they want to hear and pump themselves up,,,

ALL presidential candidates have made 'promises' during campaigns to achieve goals that the Constitution clearly states he cannot do without cooperation from at least one other branch of government.

Trouble with Ryghtys is that they spent the last 8 years calling libs liars,,,now they complain they are getting picked on???
