Re the memos: I'd like to post links to where the respective memos could be downloaded as pdfs, instead of being made available in scrolling windows on various third party websites. Please post links in this comment stream if you find the pdf versions. Many thanks.

Russ Steele

Here is a PDF of the Charges in the Dem Memo and the House Reply

Here is the PDF I think you are seeking:

Todd Juvinall

The democrat's defense of the FBI and DOJ is totally laughable. They hate law enforcement but it appears they will sell their souls as they hate Trump more. And the memo is so smarmy on Steele. All of the DNC/Hillary payments bought a bunch of lies made from whole cloth yet Schiff embraces them all. And he tries to say the Judge was told the info was generated by a political source but fails to say it was the DNC/Hillary and they paid for it. These democrats are a disgrace to America and more dangerous than the Russians in my opinion.

Bill Tozer

All in all, judging by the low key coverage MSM is giving to the Schiff rebuttal. I would say that the Democrat response is just another dog that won’t hunt.

I am more interested in what the July (denied) FISA request contained, the FISA request submitted to the court the day immediately after Bubba’s and Loretta Lynch’s chance 40 minute meeting in the friggin blazing hot tarmac in Phoenix during the heat of summer...a chance meeting of two ships passing in the night. Righttttttt.

Guess we will never see what exactly what was submitted as probable cause in the July FISA request, not to mention the October, 2016 requests submitted to the FISA Court. Who know exactly what evidence was cited for requesting warrants.

National Security and all that kind of stuff. No use keeping a paper trail if hidden behind closed doors that are darn near impossible to open. Guess we do not have the right to know.

Here is the Nunes FISA memo in PDF

RussS 225pm - Thanks for the links Russ; I've updated my post.

The latest memo. Erecting strawmen and knocking them down.

Todd Juvinall

The lamestreams are reporting that the dems memo is doing a point by point refutation of the R memo. Now that is a big stretch in my opinion. The D memo is only defending Steele and trying to justify the FISA input info as totally OK. Maybe I am reading it wrong but I dn't think so. And they are saying Trump would not release it and I thought it was supposed to be vetted by the NSA types first.

Anyway, the R memo is more believable as I have yet to meet or hear a democrat that tells the truth. Especially that Schiff shit. What a loser.

Paul Emery

Meanwhile Trump is dying in the polls. Down 15.7 in RFP Consensus pollint for job approval.

Todd Juvinall

Plus one in Rasmussen. So there.

Before the Memos, there were the Presidential Debates. Just for fun.......a comparison.

First Debate.
“But increasingly, we are seeing cyber attacks coming from states, organs of states. The most recent and troubling of these has been Russia. There's no doubt now that Russia has used cyber attacks against all kinds of organizations in our country, and I am deeply concerned about this. I know Donald's very praiseworthy of Vladimir Putin, but Putin is playing a really ... tough, long game here. And one of the things he's done is to let loose cyber attackers to hack into government files, to hack into personal files, hack into the Democratic National Committee." — Hillary Clinton (presidential debate, transcript via CNN), Sept. 26, 2016

“As far as the cyber, I agree to parts of what Secretary Clinton said. We should be better than anybody else, and perhaps we're not. I don't think anybody knows it was Russia that broke into the DNC. She's saying Russia, Russia, Russia, but I don't — maybe it was. I mean, it could be Russia, but it could also be China. It could also be lots of other people. It also could be somebody sitting on their bed that weighs 400 pounds, OK? You don't know who broke in to DNC." — Donald Trump (presidential debate, transcript via CNN), Sept. 26, 2016

Second debate:

“But, you know, let's talk about what's really going on here, Martha, because our intelligence community just came out and said in the last few days that the Kremlin, meaning Putin and the Russian government, are directing the attacks, the hacking on American accounts to influence our election. And WikiLeaks is part of that, as are other sites where the Russians hack information, we don't even know if it's accurate information, and then they put it out." — Hillary Clinton (presidential Debate, transcript via New York Times), Oct. 10, 2016

“But I notice, anytime anything wrong happens, they like to say the Russians are — she doesn't know if it's the Russians doing the hacking. Maybe there is no hacking. But they always blame Russia. And the reason they blame Russia because they think they're trying to tarnish me with Russia." — Donald Trump (presidential debate, transcript via New York Times), Oct. 10, 2016

Third Debate:

“You are very clearly quoting from WikiLeaks, and what's really important about WikiLeaks is that the Russian government has engaged in espionage against Americans. They have hacked American websites, American accounts of private people, of institutions, then they have given that information to WikiLeaks for the purpose of putting it on the Internet." — Hillary Clinton, to moderator Chris Wallace (presidential debate, transcript via CNN), Oct. 19, 2016

“WALLACE: And I would like to ask you this direct question. The top national security officials of this country do believe that Russia has been behind these hacks. Even if you don't know for sure whether they are, do you condemn any interference by Russia in the American election?

"TRUMP: By Russia or anybody else.

"WALLACE: You condemn their interference?

"TRUMP: Of course I condemn. Of course I — I don't know Putin. I have no idea." — Donald Trump and moderator Chris Wallace (presidential debate, transcript via CNN) Oct. 19, 2016)

Paul Emery

Rasmussen is way out of line with ALL the other polls Todd. How do you explain that?

Lets continue this in the Sandbox

Carter Page was already on the grid and a known quantity. The Russian probe began before the FISA was issued on Carter Page. Four Republican judges approved the FISA warrants
And the independently approved those FISA warrants 4 separate times.

Nunes' goose is cooked.

George Rebane

xeno 1131am - the FISA judges' approval of the warrants had nothing to do with their political orientation, and everything to do with the withholding of evidence in the application(s) for the warrants, as even Schiff's memo attests. And how you conclude the cooking of Nunes' goose remains a secret between you and the teacher who last attempted to teach you logic.

Bill Tozer

Nice sidestepping on whether the FISA Court was told that the Dossier was paid for by an political enemy of Trump and Presidential candidate for the Democrat party. The sin of omission. Neither was the court informed that the witness (informants) listed in Dossier were unreliable, being former agents of Putin’s Ministry of Disinformation, lol

Nunes’s goose is cooked? Nay, my good woman. Schifflips is now irrelevant. Tell me again, whose goose got cooked.

Todd Juvinall

Carter Paige is still walking the streets Xeno. Why is that if he is a traitor?

Paul Emery, you pick your polls we pick ours. Trump is President your guy Johnson is not.

From The Donald's go to news outlet, Rupert Murdock's New York Post, "there is no deep state"

Bill Tozer

Here is the problem Xeno. The Dossier said that Russian agents had a confab with Page in July, 2016. Trouble is, Page said those meetings with the Russian businessmen in July never happened and as hard as they tried, the FBI could not collarabe the July meetings and nor discussions with Page or any records of the FBI holding discussions on the matter in July, 2016.

It came from Steele. Next, Steele started leaking like a sieve and lied to the FBI. Then the Bureau canned his butt to CYA. Steele is now person non grata

Of course Carter Page was known to the Justice Department’s NSA Division. He worked for the Fed’s on a counter-intelligence espionage case in 2013, busting Russians seeking to recruit Americans for information on banking and energy, something that Carter Page is well versed in. experiece and livihood and all that stuff. Page stayed on until the case was adjudicated in 2015,

Dem Memo? More like an editorial. That dog just won’t hunt. But, by all means, focus on the tree and miss the forest. Follow the time frames. July, 2016, was a red herring (disinformation straight from Pravda), so I find it odd that Schifflips would bring it up. Strike that. July 2016 was to muddy the waters, lol. When were the FISA warrant requests in question submitted? September?

Bill Tozer

Xeno con’t
We can blame Dr. Rebane for this mess. Trump said he didn’t need no foreign policy advisers late in the campaign and that was just too much for the Good Doc. Oh, Dr. Rebane almost swallowed his tongue in disbelieve and expressed his dumbfounded ness in a few choice words.
Well, Trump reads us here and heard Dr. Rebane’s disconnect and said, “Alright, alright, I will form a foreign policy team of volunteer advisors. Happy now, George?”

So, when announced Carter Page was on the team, the Clintonistas jumped at the mana from heaven. Finally, an in. They all knew Carter Page and he would do nicely. Nice guy, never charged with nothing, not even the subject or target of the probe. They were going after George P or just wanted their hands on all those prior e-mails and calls going back as far as they wanted.

It’s all Dr. Rebane’s fault. Daddy takes a liking to our webmaster for some strange reason and takes his advice under serious consideration.

Oh, BTW. The dude that requested the FISA warrant in the fall is one of only 4 persons in all of Government that can make a request basically calling Carter or (any American) a spy. His name is John Carlin. He got the surveillance on Carter and left the administration within a month.

Bill Tozer

Ok, try this link.

And he planned his escape. He knew if Trump won all hell would break out. It all leads back to Clapper and Brenner, DOJ was just the vehicle. Off topic, put do you know who ever unmasked Flynn and leaked it committed a felony? A felony enough to have one’s pension stripped. The forest, not the tree, Dufus X
