George said, "We must never forget that today whenever you encounter a problem in society, government is guilty until proven innocent - bank on it." I can thus assume this includes Donald trump. Therefore, the administration is a lying bunch of goombah mafiosos who collaborated with the Russians to steal the election in order to institute a fascist management style that instituted reverse Robin Hood policies in order to increase their personal wealth on the backs of the rest of Americans. On this we can agree.

George Rebane

RoberC 1214pm - Mr Cross, you continue to show up unarmed to these debates. Get some evidence to back your empty accusations (and also tell you leaders Chucky and Nancy and ... to do the same, so you wouldn't have to embarrass yourself as their local echo chamber). And it also appears that you would have difficulty recognizing agreement if it came up and hit you in the, well you know ...

.....still president......!

....and thanks bobby.

Walt

Yes Dr.R.,,, Conex container homes are a good business, and profitable. But the fine state of Ca. goes out of it's way to drive the cost up. I have seen some really great deigns, and are pleasing to the eye.

Just last year a few people tried to make housing for fire victims out of the things. They went broke trying. (Thank You Ca. state regulators and inspectors)
And that was even with shipping companies GIVING the containers to them at no cost.
What I didn't hear, who bitched to the state to shut the idea down. I guess the politicians got pissed, their palms didn't get greased.

Walt

LOL George!! Bobby showed up in "fully semi-automatic" mode. With a 3D printed "L" on his forehead.

Robert Cross

I'm sorry George, but you said government is guilty until proven innocent but apparently that doesn't apply to trump. So I must assume that only applies to government policies you don't like. Trumpists seem to lack the ability to connect the dots between numerous and varied accounts of misdeeds, philandering, etc. that are widely available. I would think if you really were curious you would research these issues yourself.

still president by hook or by crook

George Rebane

RobertC 102pm - Still unarmed. My latest example of government guilt was in regards to their removing low cost housing from the markets during a housing crisis in CA. That is existential proof of something having happened, and that government is to blame.

But you're doing nothing but throwing out the same tired and empty allegations about Trump with the added deficit that your arguments can't point to any government harm having been done to anyone. In fact, according to government metrics, Trump has done a wonderful job.

So if you have "researched" all these "issues" that support allegations, you might want to share your research with Mueller who is having a hell of a time finding anything with which to stick Trump. Since he hasn't produced crap on Trump and is being embarrassed about that daily, you might really do the guy a favor. Are you really getting any of this???

We all can see what SpongeBob wrote. Now let me fix it.
Leftists"seem to lack the ability to connect the dots between numerous and varied accounts of misdeeds, philandering," of the likes of Bubba and "O". How many women did Billy bang? Before, during and after his Presidency? Now how many was against their will?( plenty, apparently) Can the same be said of Trump? No accusations of any form or rape.(unlike Billy)
No accusations of Trump going to perv Island Like Bill did with other perved geezers. And the LIB meda refused to report on it.
Now one slight breeze that Trump MIGHT have,, the same media would go to the ends of the earth to drag it out. Even pay to fabricate a story.(Like with Russian hookers)

Now "O", just flat out lied to the people on a nightly basis.
(yes SpongBob, lying is a "misdeed") And the press even helped.
"If you like your................" Remember that Richard?
Blaming terrorist attacks on a video? Just a mis speak... Right?
Then there is the funding of terrorists.. KNOWINGLY.( Treason?)

No,,SpongBobby gives all those things a pass.
Not to mention killing the national economy for 8 years.
Plenty of LIB donors got rich off "O"andCo. But Richard was OK with that.

OK Bobby,, back to your unscheduled, and no evidence Trump bashing.

Robert Cross

George,

You made a general statement-- ......'guilty until proven innocent' --trump is the figurehead of American government and has been accused of multiple transgressions .. guilty until proven innocent requires no proof of guilt.. guilty as charged..It is up to you to prove innocence and discharge the onus of guilt, good luck with that. One can't cherry pick the situation in which your dictum applies or does not apply. It either applies to all or none.

"Mueller who is having a hell of a time finding anything with which to stick Trump." that is public knowledge...good poker players don't show their cards until the hand is over.. and neither do good investigators. If you cannot see the smoke, perhaps some unbiased glasses may help.

RC
ROFLMAO. Yep, they just are incapable of accepting the fact that Hillary’s embarassing loss had nothing to do with the Russians. In fact, Hillary made not one, but two of my ‘never voted R before life long Democrat Party’ sisters vote for Trump. One because Hillary “used her women’s movement (my sister’s first wave Woman’s Movement and “used” should be in all caps with my sweet gentle slow to anger sister spitting it out it with a livid face unable to conceal her rage), AND the other sister, who does not follow politics ever ever ever, heard the phrase, “Drain the Swamp!” That was all it took. Blame the weak minded white female voter, I reckon. Hillary did.

Be that as it may, my real point is RC is sounding almost exactly like Punchy in tone and debate style. The only thing missing is the word assume, as in assume makes an ASS out of U and ME. :)

Check it out. Does it not sound like a slighty nuanced version of Punchy?. Connect the dots, Too funny. Whether it’s TDS or TAD, it is real. Syndrome or Disorder, it all smells the same. Deliciously devilishly sweet.

“Therefore, the administration is a lying bunch of goombah mafiosos who collaborated with the Russians to steal the election in order to institute a fascist management style that instituted reverse Robin Hood policies in order to increase their personal wealth on the backs of the rest of Americans. On this we can agree.”

Where is the ‘I assume’ as the lead-in to the last sentence??

Or this gem echoing the Popinjay. Popinjay or parrot, same thing. And here’s the “I assume”, right on time. This is too much fun. Make him stop, please make it stop. :)

“So I must assume that only applies to government policies you don't like.....I would think if you really were curious you would research these issues yourself.”

He forgot to end it with “odd” or “strange”! Yep, we are back to Russia stole the election to help Putin’s ‘puppet in his pocket’ Donald Trump win! Putin has blackmail stuff on Trump, you know. Connect the dots! T Rex and Putin will take over the world to help their crony capitalist pig buddies become rich, rich, rich beyond your wildest dreams...at the expense of all the little people.
Russia is back. It’s baccccckkkkk. And by all the hyperventilating, it sound like Meuller is holding two pieces of wheat bread between his legs. Where’s the meat?

Devilishly Delicious is an understatement. Go Bobbie go, you go girl.

RobertC 307pm - Still can't differentiate between what's real and what's in fevered brains across the country. My dictum applies ONLY to realworld problems. Your allegation echoes are only a manifestation of TAD creating a massive political problem for Democrats. As you seem to admit, you have only been blowing the smoke you are pointing at as originating from some yet to be seen fire.

You know, when all is said and done and IF Trump finally orders the unredacted release of the mostly totally redacted 400 pages of the FISA warrant, we will see a firestorm exploding across the land like we have never seem in our nation’s history. Just waiting for more releases with more pages unredacted. Those in the know do know.
Judging by the timing with everything going on (good stuff, economy, Judge K ready to be seated, EU coming around and warming up to the idea of fair trade, etc)....judging by all that with rerelease of the Reset Button with the ‘Russian hacking the election in Collusion with Trumpf’ story of the century.....well, as Russ would say, You know we are over the target.” Just look at all that flack and diversions.

Bobby and the boys have already proclaimed Trump guilty. And every time Trump is proven innocent, they proclaim guilt on something else. " Guilty of collusion!" UNTIL,, 1, no crime in collusion in the first place. 2, the fact that no evidence of said fabricated crime could be found.
Then proclaimed guilty of obstruction. (Firing Comey)
Trump was well within his right. Pure and simple.

So SpongeBob, Explain the guilt of Trump. Evidence would help.

Does Mr. Cross believe what he writes or doesn’t he? Well, now that I have almost stopped laughing, I will relate a little story I was once told.

Blast from Biker Bill’s past.

I once was conserving with a fine upstanding community asset about 15 years my senior. Clean cut fellow, wore collared shirts and slacks, clean shaven and short haircut. Anyway, he confided to me that in his past he was once locked up in the nut house. He said one of the inmates....er......patients in the Cuckoo’s Nest told him the he (the other patient) really wasn’t crazy in the least. In all actuality, he was a CIA agent doing an undercover investigation and that is explains why he was there.

My acquaintance told me that he was so messed up at the time, be actually believed the other patient’s story. Without missing a beat, he said, “Now, that is crazy.” Yep, he was plumb crazy at the time.

Is Boobie that crazy, or is he just playing Charlie Brown and pooping in the halls?

They don't give up in the swamp -

Amazon is at the forefront of a well-funded, powerful, Silicon Valley-led push to force the federal government to nationalize the music industry, thereby creating a system where the government props up certain companies — such as Amazon — to be beneficiaries of and have control over, while also profiting from, music production.

Sources close to the White House and those in regular contact with President Trump and his closest associates say the president has a serious problem doing anything to help Amazon — especially creating a special government board that would allow the company billionaire Jeff Bezos owns to profit, with government assistance and control, from music royalties.

Why do we need a funding bill to pay for the law. Trump said Mexico was going to pay for it or was that just another Trump lie.

He's recovered from the Helsinki presser excursion, Paul.

Again, the RCP "consensus" is a one month mix of all polls, whether they are by a valid pollster or not, or that they asked anyone who will answer the question (A for All), anyone who will answer the question who claims to be a registered voter (RV), or a likely voter (LV). The RCP mosh pit is a trailing edge indicator, just as it was leading up to the Nov '16 election.

Paul, thanks for pointing out that Trump is up by one percent over the day he won the Presidential election.

George Rebane

Here we see an example of the kinds of 'lies' the Left cites of Trump. That Mexico has yet to agree to pay for the wall, is a typical citation of a Trump lie. The critical reader understands that this kind of charge is a big nothing burger - it affects nothing in our foreign policy, nothing in how people will arrange their affairs, nor how it affects their quality of life. But Dems like Pocahontas citing completely made up dour stats about our economy is a lie that does affect people's assessment of their prospects and if/how they should spend, etc. Those, and 'you can keep your doctor ..., your health plan ...', are the real lies that hurt Americans.

Paul Emery

Comparing two different things Gregory. I only used the election day stats to demonstrate that the RCP consensus has historical accuracy. They were right on the money in '16. Trump is down by nearly 10 in todays Consensus poll. You continue to cherry pick favorable polls to make Trumps polling look not so bad for some odd reason since you don't particularly like Trump yourselt.

Paul Emery

George, over and over Trump has said that Mexico will pay for the wall but not one step in that direction. He is lying. How is that different than you calling Obama a liar for his Obamacare claims about rates and doctors that have been noted over and over on this blog.

Gregory

Paul, I agree with a Hillary Clinton statement in the last "debate" between her and Trump... it's un-American to dispute an election result. She lost.

I don't "cherry pick" polls favorable to Trump/ I cite polls that I think are credible. That's Rasmussen's daily poll of LIKELY VOTERS now, and I have added the USC Dornsife/LA Times DAILY poll in the past. Polls that pop up to measure the latest media feeding frenzy tend to exaggerate the weakness of the prey bleeding in the water.

FDR promised a chicken in every pot and a car in every garage. Was he lying?

It's about time the anti-Trumpers give up their efforts to nullify the last Presidential election. What they are doing is un-American.

The Obama "if you like your doctor..." gruberized trope was a baldfaced lie designed to dupe voters into socialized medicine for the under 65 set.

To date, the costs have been... I didn't get to keep my doctor or my plan and medical costs have continued to skyrocket.

More joys of socialism -

Boris Johnson, the former mayor who recently resigned as U.K. foreign secretary, tore into Khan in a recent Op-Ed for The Daily Telegraph for glamming it up at movie premieres while crime spirals out of control.
“Sadiq Khan may be a twinkle-toed mover on the movie premiere red carpet, but his pirouettes on the subject of knife crime are a positive wonder. He blames funding (when he was left with a large war chest by me); he blames the Tory Government; he blames society. He blames everyone but himself, when it is his paramount duty to keep Londoners safe,” Johnson wrote. “It is a pathetic performance.”

As of March, London accounted for 17 percent of all recorded crime in England and Wales in the year prior, as well as 42 percent of all recorded robberies. A third of all knife crime took place in London as well.

London also is facing a rise in acid attacks, skyrocketing by more than 78 percent over the past two years, with 465 such offenses in 2017, up from 260 in 2015, according to police figures obtained by the Evening Standard.

Let me re-phrase my 5:31 :: If a sitting president (any president any party) was proven to have used fraudulent and/or illegal means to gain enough votes to win an election, should that election be disputed? If so, what should happen next? Should the VP, who also benefitted from the fraud, ascend to the Presidency as would normally happen if the office of President is vacated? Should the election be declared null and void and a special election held? If so, should that election also includes everyone else as some of them also benefitted?

Dr. Rebane penned theses words to open this delightful Sandbox. Terrific. It’s beautiful.

Well, psychiatrists are beginning to report running into more and more patients with Trump Anxiety Disorder (TAD). TAD seems to be particularly prevalent among those lefties who have suffered from TDS. I guess the human noggin' can stand only so much hate and discontent before it succumbs to a clinical condition. Should TAD sufferers still be allowed to vote?

-A person with TAD never apologizes, nor ever admits they were wrong, having TAD means never having to say you’re sorry.
-A person with TAD seek to dominate others and “win”at all costs.
A person with TAD is delusional and literally believe that what they say becomes truth.

The way crime fighting used to happen is that first
1) evidence of a crime is discovered and an investigation ensues
2) charges are brought
3) a trial is held to weigh the evidence and come to a verdict.

Well after a year since the special persecutor was appointed with no specific crime or crimes to investigate, no crime has been discovered that fits the delusions of the TDS afflicted. Maybe Oliver Stone will make a movie that will fill your needs for a dramatization of what never happened, and you can go to your grave believing it to be the truth.

Yo Mr. Cross.......IF...IF ...IF there were ICE agents placed outside every polling place, would Hillary have won the popular vote?

There’s that inimitable Punchy style again.... you ask for links where it is demonstrated that the left is trying to force non citizen voting, have them provided for you, confuse with whom you are discussing the issue, and then slaughter a strawman in plain view of all!

Gregory

"Do you support the spending of whatever the billions of dollars to build a wall without Mexican financial support as Trump promised would happen."

-Punchy 658pm

Did Trump specify the money from Mexicans would come:
1) Before the wall was built
2) While the wall was built, or
3) After the wall was built

Hmmmm?

Gregory

PUNCHY 736pm

The sentences you're misunderstanding badly are:" Voters OK’d the plan in 2016 with the passage of Measure N. But its implementation has triggered Fox News and their peers, and has Republican politicians whispering that this is the latest Democratic plot to use undocumented Mexicans to destroy America — never mind that most of the people now eligible to vote in San Francisco are actually Chinese."

That reads to me to mean that Conservatives thought the measure would benefit undocumented Mexicans... but at least on Planet 'Frisco, there are more undocumented Chinese than undocumented Mexicans.

Yes, Paulo, there are undocumented Democrats who aren't Mexican by birth.

Thank you.....that’s the term that has eluded me.....Undocumented Democrat. Chinese, Mexican, Swede.....non citizen......Undocumented Democrat!

Trump has no plan for how Mexico will pay for the wall so you're 8:12 is irrelevant . What is big news today is that he advocates shutting down the government if funding the wall isn't part of the budget, What is your view of this Gregory?

“I would be willing to ‘shut down’ government if the Democrats do not give us the votes for Border Security, which includes the Wall!”

Gregory

"Trump has no plan for how Mexico will pay for the wall so you're (sic) 8:12 is irrelevant."

-Punchy 843pm

I think what you mean is "Trump isn't telling you his plan for how Mexico will pay for the wall".

No, Punch, my 812pm questions are to the point. If the answer is (3), he has perhaps another 6 anna half years to come up with a deal that makes Mexico pay for the wall. If he doesn't, we can sell tickets to his swearing out ceremony to make up some of the shortfall. Or maybe install toll gates in the wall.

Paul Emery

So Gregory those who are willing to fund the wall because they believe Trump when he said Mexico will pay for it are doing so on a lick and a promise form a certified liar.

One thing I'm confused about with The Wall, is it the one called for in the Secure Fence Act of 2006, or additional wall? You know, it seems to me that both Boxer and Feinstein voted 'yea' on that one.

Of course, we're in the era when Democrats are pro-multinational, pro-open borders, pro-CIA, so it isn't like that's gonna happen again. Republicans appear to have pivoted pro-US national interests, so you just never know.

Don Bessee

Have any of the 'government shutdowns' cut off your po' ol' fakenewsman benefits? Did you actually miss anything in the real world? Did the bars stop paying you under the table? Was there a druid deduction in the past?

Heck, what about the time that Obama attempted to change the Israeli election, or the time that Hillary had Qaddafi sodomized to death with a broomstick. Then changing the Ukrainian government by extralegal means for dessert.

lol. What a crew. Get back to me when Trump attempts to overthrow a country.

Paul 'Crickets' Emery sez: "“I would be willing to ‘shut down’ government if the Democrats do not give us the votes for Border Security, which includes the Wall!”"

Good.

The US has two existential threats, the Russian nuclear arsenal and mass immigration from the Third World. The rest of it, health care/trade policy/stock market/student loans/etc. is all negotiable and survivable.

Gregory

"So Gregory those who are willing to fund the wall because they believe Trump when he said Mexico will pay for it are doing so on a lick and a promise form a certified liar."

-Punchy 903pm

So far, the certified liar who won the election has had a pretty good record of fulfilling campaign promises. I doubt the certified liar who lost the election wouldn't have had the same luck, even with the FBI and CIA/NSA/XYZ folks on her side.

The Wall
It’s now or never. This is our last and only chance. Shut down is just a tiny necessary maneuver to save our soveign nation. So what the passport office will be closed, BFD.

Now does not mean today or tomorrow. Now means this narrow time frame. If the Dems take over the House in 2018, goodbye controlled borders, good bye good orderly immigration, and goodbye to all Congressional investigations of the Deep State, and goodbye USA.

Bill Tozer

Ah, look at the bright side. First, the Wall will pay for itself 10x over within a couple of years. A bargain at twice the price. The other huge bright side is even if we have to front Mexico’s paying for the Wall out of the budget, Punchy’s taxes will be going to pay for the Wall. Always a silver lining. We are all in this together. Together we can. Yes We Can, Yes We Can! Talk about hope and change. I like the change part. The Wall will fundamentally change America as the Leftinistas know it.

Todays news Gregory

"U.S. spy satellites have detected renewed activity at the North Korean factory that produced the country’s first intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of reaching the United States, a senior U.S. official said on Monday, in the midst of talks to compel Pyongyang to give up its nuclear arms."

Thought NK was no longer a threat, at least that's what Trump said.

"There is no longer a nuclear threat from North Korea. Meeting with Kim Jong Un was an interesting and very positive experience. North Korea has great potential for the future!"

FAKE NEWS: 'Nat Geo' Photographer Admits Viral Photo Of Polar Bear 'Dying From Climate Change' Is False

"We had lost control of the narrative."

"One year later, National Geographic has finally admitted to facilitating "fake news" regarding climate change. The magazine's most viral video ever, which featured heart-wrenching images of a starving polar bear, perpetuated the narrative that the animal's imminent death was caused by climate change. However, the climate change aspect of the story is void of any real evidence.

"We had lost control of the narrative," admitted Cristina Mittermeier, the photographer of the polar bear. Mittermeier explained the climate change deception in a piece titled "Starving-Polar-Bear Photographer Recalls What Went Wrong" for the magazine's August issue."

If the MSM told me I was on fire I'd make sure to ask around and get another opinion!

Re: dope in Oregon.
This is exactly what I warned Patty Smith about and those other caring Florence Nightingales out there. The growers don’t give a darn about her patients. Money talks, bully pucky walks. The patients (like Granny suffering in her final weeks) was a tailor made smokescreen to hide behind and use as the poster child for opening up markets....for profits, not medicine. A golden opportunity.

“All the people that we made these laws for – the ones who are desperately ill – are being screwed right now and are directed to the black market,” said Karla Kay, the chief of operations at PharmEx.

Kay, who also holds a medical marijuana card for her kidney disease, said some patients she knows have resorted to buying high dose medical marijuana products illegally from local farmers markets – in a state that was one of the first to legally establish a medical cannabis industry back in 1998.”

.......and finally that moment of lucidity!

Making Mexico pay for the wall is as simple as requiring withholding for tax purposes on foreign remittances. When the remitters fail to file tax returns, the money is already in the till. L
