Jo Ann and I were happy to welcome home Russ & Ellen Steele from their three month adventure that criss-crossed our fair continent.  The last leg today was from Truckee where Russ had to attend to county business before being able to haul their customized Airstream into its usual resting place.  Knowing how little one wants to do when arriving at the barn, we invited them for a relaxing evening at Casa Rebane.  There we regaled them with Jo Ann's fine cooking and my workmanlike effort incinerating a few large pieces of dead cow.  It was fun catching up on our travels and talking about the state of the Union.  Russ is the prolific author and publisher of NC Media Watch where you can catch up on the latest in Nevada County doings and the sanity side of climate change.
