Has anyone figured out what the purpose is for claiming that the ARRA $787B stimulus has helped when so little of it has been spent to date? And why is a third stimulus "jobs bill" needed when there is plenty of money left in ARRA? Couldn't that be spent for jobs and then decide if more is needed? Very puzzling for this old head.
There you go again George letting that logic and commen sense pervade your thoughts again

From the Nevada County BOS:
ERAC and WBCF Energy Project Update:
Board Resolution 09-480 approved an application for a 3% energy loan in the amount of $1,486,867. That loan was approved by the California Energy
Commission on January 27, 2010.
This loan coupled with an ARRA Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) in the amount of $373,291 will be used to retrofit the HVAC, lighting, and boilers at the ERAC and the WBCF as well as retrofit the lighting at all three Truckee
Facilities.
The saving per year to the County will be approximately $170,901 and the project will pay
for itself in 9.5 years.
It is anticipated that the ARRA-EECBG grant ($370,000) will be approved by the Energy Commission on March 10. The project is expected to be complete by the end of 2010.
