Paul Emery

Gregory

I was referring to contemporary countries. Georges blats are pretty worthless without at least an attempt to verify his positions with some kind of contemporary real world example. Otherwise it's just a theory.

Paul Emery

Todd

Since this country is on the way to bayonets in the street due to our collectivist direction I don't think we qualify as an example an enlightened whatever George wants kind of country.

By the way your guy Walker, the incredible shrinking man is drifting below 1% Republican support.

Todd Juvinall

Paul Emery, good luck you ingrate!

Walker fades out I'll pick someone else. No big deal. Your guy Johnson is a doper nut. Good luck with that.

Paul Emery

Todd

"Johnson Doper Nut"....I'm sure the Libertarians who participate in this blog appreciate your deep insight into Gary Johnson, the two time governor of New Mexico.

Bill Tozer

Todd, Gary has lots and lots on his daddy's money. A 1%er's little boy. Spend Gary spend all that money that should be given to somebody who does not work and is a total slacker/loser. Maybe Gary should house and fed all those starving artists to give them a place to finally express their talents after all these many years. Or pay for those who majored in Chicano Lesbian studies and who are burdened with unfair college debt due to the loans they applied for and gladly received at the time.
Much better to give it all away than have it all away taken away like that 1%er Clinton is planning. Plus, it's a good tax write off so your taxes do not go to The Military.

Anybody here buy one of those $80.00 Bernie Teddy Bears he is peddling on his site yet? Cuddle it while you listen to The Bern rail against buying unneeded materialistic stuff because children in Bum, Egypt are starving. The Bern Teddy is absolutely to die for. I was going to donate to Utah's Place, but I feel The Bern needs my money more and will spend it wiser,

Todd Juvinall

Come on Paul Emery, I have listened to him in numerous interviews and the man is nutty. Has to be dope. You deny that? And who cares if he was governor of a small state. Big deal. He is a libertarian loser. Why would you support the guy? Also, answer my questions about "what other country(s) are your preference.

BillT, excellent observations about the loser Johnson.

Ben Emery

I would vote for Gary Johnson before Hillary Clinton or Jeb Bush any day of the week. It will take an enormous movement to oust those two establishment candidates from their perceived rightful heir to the throne. We have two major parties and one establishment that controls both parties so no matter who controls the Executive Branch the establishment has control over our foreign policies, Supreme Court nominees, Congressional Committees, and Agency heads. in summary control of our federal government and by default/ supremacy clause or funding leverage our state governments who then control our local governments.

The key of actually getting a functional democratic republic is wrangling the power from the establishment by electing candidates that openly campaign against it. Bernie Sanders is running an outsider campaign within the machine and is starting to make some oligarchs very nervous. Donald Trump in a very sick and twisted way is doing the same thing in the Republican Party.

We are starting to see how the media(who is also controlled by the establishment)take down Trump and the signs of taking down Sanders are there as well.

The two largest and most powerful public institutions in the US are the Democratic and Republican Party's. They are controlled by big money special interests as is the mainstream media(6 companies control 90%).

It will be a Hillary vs Jeb 2016 unless the people pull off a huge upset by coming out in such huge numbers the elections cannot be rigged and stolen.

from Paul at 10:28 - "Georges blats are pretty worthless without at least an attempt to verify his positions with some kind of contemporary real world example."
There are plenty of examples of what George espouses. Just because there isn't an entire country that follows all of them and is just the perfect example doesn't mean his views are worthless.
All of the AGM alarmists have been proven wrong with all of their 'predictions' - but strangely enough they are still held in high esteem by the true believers.
Our world is filled with realities that were ridiculed by the masses as nonsense when first proposed.
What country did the founding fathers 'emulate' when our nation was founded? They certainly couldn't point to another country as an example back in the 1700s.
So the founding fathers - according to Paul Emery's twisted logic - all had worthless ideas.
Or 'blats' as Paul calls them.

Account Deleted

"I would vote for Gary Johnson before Hillary Clinton or Jeb Bush any day of the week."
ooh - pretty strong support for Gary, there.
I'd vote for the guy 3 doors down before I'd vote for them and I don't even know who he is.

Jon

speaking of losers..

Bye Bye Scotty Walker. Back to the Cub Scout troop in Wisconsin! Joining Rick Perry as the biggest GOP flops of the modern era. Overhyped and overrated from day one.

Don Bessee

While Walker winding down his campaign is no surprise calling them the biggest GOP flops of the modern era would just be so much of the 'jon' scatology. Walker did bitch slap the Unions into line and won 3 elections in 6 years. Perry in his 13 years had staggering economic successes in TX but could never get past forgetting the 3rd Fed. department he would close in that debate. Whoever wins the GOP marathon they will be much tougher from the fray than the pampered and protected liar HRC.

Jon

Perry could not speak 2 sentences in a row without taking 2 minutes to finish.
We heard all about his brainpower from Jim Hightower and other Texas progressives years before the nation heard him in 2012 and 2015. He did do one good thing though- he made GW Bush look intelligent. Scotty Walker did indeed damage Unions in his state, as well as the overall WI economy, which is one of the worst in that region. He only survived recall because of a very weak Dem opponent. So its back to his Scout Troop. Those guys can also hit the rubber chicken circuit now- if people want to pony up 50 bucks to hear Scott Walker or Rick Perry...LOL...have at it!

Todd Juvinall

LOL "jon". You are a troll so your opinions carry no weight. But keep trying.

Don Bessee

I think Heidi Hall is going to get a surprise when she finds out who is going to oppose her. ;-)

Jon

LOL Todd. That's the best you can do in your avoidance of the honest truth about Walker and Perry? Phony puppets and props, shoved to the forefront by big money interests who thought they could pull the wool over voter eyes. If nothing else, big money is showing its not necessarily too smart with its billions of political money!

Bill Tozer

I won't vote for Hillary nor Bush. I wIl not sit this one out, so I will vote for somebody in the end.
Interesting to see who Hillary chooses to go after. Tells us who her campaign sees as a threat. She sure slammed Walker for 3 weeks straight. Now her campaign is going after that other woman with a vengeance. Choice between two gals in a cat fight is some wild scratching going on. Of course, Hillary is above the fray, it's those unknown people on her payroll that are trashing the bimbos for her.
Don't think that other woman Carly will be sticking around to the end.
Political side note: it is appearing that the old Clinton Machine Loyalists were loyal to Bill their boss, not to Hillary his bitchy wife. The old Bill defenders seem to go through the motions of defending Hillary half heartedly with no fire in their belly. Where is the spirited defenders of The Hill like the Ragin Cajun and Lenny? Probably mellowed with age. Just another biased opinion of mine.

Bottom line. It ain't who is the best or brightest or one's #1 Draft Pick. It's who is still standing after the Conventions. The rest of them go out to pasture until called.

Paul Emery

Not much room in the Pubbers pasture. It's filled with Palins, Romnies, Ryans Bachmans McCains and others from previous popular rejections rejections. They won't be called.

Paul Emery

Bessee use of "bitch slap"

That's classy Don.

Bill Tozer

Oh Paul, I meant called to run errands. Seems nobody answered your question about who should we try to emulate. None of them I say. Maybe heaven or whatever place besides hell you visualize where you go after death. A place with no pain or sorrow is preferred. In a perfect world.....this is not or will ever be a perfect world as long as humans walk the face of the planet. Back to the Future #37 might hold some hope for ya. I just love those Hollywood endings, don't you? Eh?

Think James Madison had the best insight concerning your question posed. Letting the commoners have guns and arms for self defense and more importantly defense against a tyrannical domestic government in the future is what he saw as the most unique and most revolutionary idea of any society/country formed in history. He saw that single aspect as the unique Enlightenment of The Great Experiment and ALL other countries in existence as backwards because of our right to bear arms applied individually. It's where the others fell short.
Glad SCOTUS agreed and ruled that since we all do not have the right to join a milita, then it must mean we have a individual right to bear arms. Wish more countries were as enlightened as we are. They should try emulating us, but as Madison clearly remarked, they are all backwards.
So, with that in context, I would emulate zero of them.

Bill Tozer

Oh Don, you are so berry berry bad. Somebody should bitch slap you. Got a feeling that Paul is thinking about it. :)

Jon | 21 September 2015 at 02:51 PM

Please troll, stop embarrassing yourself, well at least you have a bridge you live under. You really don't know what you are talking about so responding to you is something real people don't do.

Walker quit today. So I may go for another after some though full analysis. So many good candidates. Paul Emery and Johnson, now there is a losing ticket. LOL!

Jon

Yeah Todd, there are just tons and tons of good candidates in that Clown Car, albeit the Slowly Deflating Clown Car. Even Walker encouraged others today to do what he did. Lets see, Bobby Jindal is still breathing, Rick Santorum, Mike Huckabee...3 just off the top of my head! Then there's always George Pataki or Scandal ridden Chris Christie if you fancy a Governor type. Just a veritable bounty.

Todd Juvinall

Jon | 21 September 2015 at 04:37 PM

"jon" give it up. You are a troll. Head back to your underpass.

Paul Emery

Todd

I think you should run. Honestly I'd vote for you before any of the current lot in either party. I can see it now

"The Sierra Lizzard makes a comeback and goes for it all"

Bill Tozer

Well, Todd, just stay in the top six for now. I see the Republican numbers are sliding down the slope. 1st debate 24 million viewers, the record for any non sporting event in cable history. Total of 54 viewers that night viewing all cable outlets. Half ain't bad.. Second debate, only 23.4 million viewers, a CNN record in its 35 year history. I can see the Clown Car sliding into obscurity, can't you? First, 24million plus viewers then a measly 23 million plus viewers. Heading in the wrong direction. Darn it, Jon is right again. Doom and Gloom lies ahead. Best to pack it in now.

Can't wait for the Democrat New Hampshire debate. It's on the Saturday night before Christmas. Weekend before Christmad?? Should set viewer records as well....the lowest viewed debate since the invention of the Television. Oops. Make than since TVs where common in the American households, not when Biden said that FDR addressed the nation on the boob tube with his "Nothing to fear but fear itself" speech.

Todd Juvinall

Paul Emery | 21 September 2015 at 04:54 PM
I am not familiar with The Sierra Lizard. What is that? Is that a sexual term? You are odd.

BillT 4:59 AM

I might try it. I am incredibly handsome and erudite. I'd get the women's vote hands down. And my foreign policy of bomb the crap out of all those Muslims might just put me over the top.

Don Bessee

Oh PE you are just mad because that is the precise description of what Walker did to his unions. LOL

Jon

Demographics Billy, Demographics in the General Election. That's all that matters. Mittster discovered that dynamic. Lots of angry right wing viewers tuning in to see The Clown Car Chronicles, starring Donald Trumpster, off his very successful engagement in the Catskills. Entertainment- yes, serious political debating? Not so much.

Todd Juvinall

Jon | 21 September 2015 at 05:41 PM
Don Besse, the troll thinks we care about what it writes. Hubris. It is such an amateur.

Bill Tozer

Todd. Helpful Hint: just utter these two magic words and you would get the Emergy Twins and Heidi Hall's vote for sure,....and Curtis Walker and Annie and maybe even Jon. Plus some members of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy that left the reservation and turned purple to add icing to the cake. Now, take a breath, put your lips together and say "Two Americas" and you will be standing on The Bern's neck in triumphal victorious rapture. Can't wait till you roll out The Juvinall Jubilee Girls on YouTube.

Jon

LOL Todd.

you do care. You are a very sensitive type guy.

Bill Tozer

Jon @ 5:41 PST (I am not on the west Coast neither am I currently in N. America). Think Glowball. :)

I can't believe my Teddy Bear eyes. U.S. News and World Report? That biased rag is only found in the waiting room of doctors' offices anymore. They really have gone off the deep end in this time. Sensational yellow journalism at its ugliest. Guess they are desperate for readers. I don't trust this source and I bet Jon agrees with me. Bunch of horse pucky.

http://www.usnews.com/opinion/blogs/lara-brown/2015/09/21/democrats-are-headed-for-a-2016-crackup

Bill Tozer

Yep, Todd, there are two Americas. One with an innie and one with an outie. Sure, some always fall through the cracks.

http://www.vox.com/2015/9/21/9367327/transgender-shadi-petosky-twitter-orlando-airport

Todd Juvinall

BillT, you are a hoot! The Juvinall Jubilee Girls. You know, we could have a bikini Hooters contest at the Rood Center and raise money for loony trolls. And for displace sock puppets! Excellent!

Bill Tozer

Good afternoon.
The Internet has changed the way we communicate and how we control speech. Shameful how some are attacking a poor sweet woman of color. She could be off limits as well as above the law I say. Afterall, being Rodham's confident, employee, and Vice Campaign Manager places her above reproach. Shameful treatment of Hillary's second daughter. In related news, Anthony Weiner got axed from his two month consulting job yesterday. Shameful how some treat women. There ought to be more laws and less speech.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2015/09/22/huma-abedins-debut-on-twitter-on-ben-carson-draws-some-ugly-replies/

Bill Tozer

Ah, more as been revealed concerning Obama.

Jon

Remember to mark the tape- I reported that Trump peaked 2 weeks ago. Long, slow, gradual downward slide.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/arianna-huffington/the-beginning-of-the-end-for-trump_b_8177692.html

Really its Carson and Fiorina now, with Jeb! a very slim chance to come back if he and his long-time advisors can convince the Big Money. Regardless, all weak general election candidates with major flaws.

Bill Tozer

Well, it is looking more and more that you are stuck with Hillary.

George Rebane

Jon 952am - I like robust predictions, and you may have nailed it with Trump. Please make a note of your prediction's URL so that when Trump is on the slide a month from now, we can all drink a toast to your prescience.

Bill Tozer

Hey, how about a Dear Jon letter:

Carly won't make it. Has that HP thang and the Brian Williams's memory. Rodham's numbers are being skewed by the non contender Biden's and Rodham has locked all the Big Big donors that count. Plus, the Debbie Factor of having the DNC in her hip pocket.. Rodham has the machine and all the machines at the ready. Hillary who bumped her head when fingers started pointing her way and abandoned State is stomping all Dem contenders in National polls and polls that matter.

What does Joe have? Heck, he is the VP that never even donated 500 bucks to charity for years (many years 200 bucks or less) until the media caught on during Obama's first term. How does it feel to donate more than Biden in 2000-2010 to charity? Feels good I tell ya.
So the Bern has some momentum no doubt, but his base is with elitists and the 20% cracker libs. Numbers don't add up. And many blacks will never never forget how "that's just Joe' sabotaged Anita Hill and refused to allow her credible witnesses testify at the Clarence Thomas hearings. Plus his disparaging words for the immigrants owning convince stores and calling Obama a clean Negro. Maybe you will get stuck with Biden afterall. Not. It's Hillary now and tomorrow. As some remind me, follow the money, honey. Yep, Hillary does look better around closing time. But since all the attention and enthusiasm is on the Republicans almost to exclusion, I can understand why Jon is so focused and obsessed with being Right. That also works to Rodham's benefit in a perverse way.

Jon

We will know something on Biden in the next 2-3 weeks. I think he's coming in, right about October 1. Otherwise he will not be in the first debate, and that would close any chance for him. Its gotta be a Biden/Warren ticket if they want to take out Hillary and garner the big donor and party support.

Jon

Tozer, you mentioned a while back you were a Kasich fan at one time. He has a miniscule, but still technically feasible, shot of winning the nomination. Seems like a tough hombre who's in it for the long haul with enough core money and base support to hold out for awhile. Would you support Kasich if he was to miraculously pull out the nomination, as he is on the record now with several moderate positions- ie. Iran?

Jon

LOL. Tozer, what is a "cracker lib"? That's a pretty funny stretch..

Jon

Re: Carly, Tozer you may be right, but I would contend that if you read her bio with an honest eye, what she did to Lucent Technologies was far worse than HP, in terms of lost enterprise value to the company. I think Forbes had a really honest, in depth article about the Lucent fiasco.

Bill Tozer

Well, Hillary has already grabbed the Big Money's money so Biden is left with crumbs and no boots on the ground. Besides, who wants to take Hillary out???? Leave the Walking Wounded in so she and Chelsea can constantly remind us how hard Hillary is working for working families. Run, Joe, run. Can't hurt or make him look like a bigger fool than he is now.

Jon

Joe's favorability ratings (and favorable to unfavorable ratio) would FAR exceed anyone in the race, of either party, should he get in.

Paul Emery

So Todd

So you're thinking of Running for District 1 Supes. Tell me it's true. That would be so much fun. Heidi Hall-Todd Juvinall. It would be a great boos to local politics which have been very dull and predictable in recent years.

George Rebane

A general question for ToddJ or any other knowledgeable reader out there now that NateB has decided not to run - Who is Darin Driscoll?

Todd Juvinall

He is a friend of mine. Go to regular email.

Bill Tozer

Jon. I will support anybody but Bush on the right, nobody on the left. Lib cracker? Just look at Bernie's crowd. White liberals. A lot of dumb ones in the mix as well, but liberals nonetheless. I could have said white bead libs are his base or honkie far left extremist libs are the ones he appeals to, not the regular run of the mill Democrat, just that small minority of the Democrat Party and even smaller slice of the American electorate. You know, lib crackers. The white guilt crowd. The pinkos. The liberals trying so desperately for folks to call them progressives. You know, the "Please call us progressives, we don't like being called liberals anymore, sob, sob. It's so unfair! Hey, I forgot my wallet. Let's do lunch" crowd.. That small percentage stuck on stupid, I.e., your people, Jon.

Jon

great Tozer, you are free to co-opt any word you want as a descriptor, but it makes no sense when applied to liberals/progressives. "Cracker" has unique history behind it in the rural, less educated South.

Todd Juvinall

BillT, "cracker" yep there we are. The libs think all R's are crackers. We think they are all godless sex crazed perverts. I guess we are even. LOL!

Oh, and Hill-Billy is both!

Bill Tozer

Mr. Jon, I will defer to Mr. M. Kestie, our resident Minister of Correct and Proper English Language Communication, on such matters, cracker.

John K has been my guy for countless years. Even heard he got a murmur from the crowd when his answer veered from the Party Line during the debates. They all snapped to with a yes, except The Gov from Ohio. He said "let's think about this first" to paraphrase a clip I saw. And the clip wasn't really about him. I said within my breastplate, yep, that is John K true to form. Not to suggest he dances around any question, but I saw his point.

Wonder when the real debates will commence. Guess we got to send the wannabes back to the amber waves of grain before there can really be a debate.

From what I gather, the first debate was Trump,Trump, Trump. The second so called debate was "Trump called you a scumbag, what say you" to the also rans. Seems it might take a few stabs at it until they get real questions on real issues. What say you??

FYI, there is something about Bobby J that I just don't like. I can't put my finger on it nor has he stepped in it. Just something that sends a red flag up. Call it women's intuition or something I can't articulate at present. He says the right words, but something tells me he is shallow, but I digress.

The scary thing about the minority lib wing of the Democrat Party is that lib wing has come to power on countless school boards, city governments, and hijacked many a state machine. The libs in control of the Party in Iowa, for example, do not represent the rank and file Democrats in Iowa in the least. They are way to the left on Farmer Brown who has voted Dem all his life.

I believe you and your fellow libs are a dangerous minority. But, that also explains why you think The Donald is toast this time or that Dr. Carson sunk himself over the weekend without doubt. Instead, the numbers tell a different story. That is kinda fun watching your side think they are speaking for the working folk...the working folk listen to Rush during the day, even the union ones. Then at night they tell Incorrect PC jokes about ya. Yeah, Carson stepped into it this time, lol
.
Carson just said the same thing Juan Williams did that caused Juan to get fired from NPR. He is at an airport and two Nuslims in full Muslim garb board his plane and he fely a bit apprehensive. That was all. I can relate. I can relate seeing a group of thugs standing around at the end of a street I am walking down. It is so non PC to say what you are feeling. You can argue with facts, not with feelings. Juan got canned. Cason's numbers went up. Sharia Law and our Constitution cannot co-exist in this country. It's called in lay man's terms "practicing law without a license". The lib crackers just don't get it. They are too smart for their own good, which is being more than generous.

Jon

We shall see Tozer. Progressives were generally correct with their assumptions and predictions in the last General Election. The Repubs regrouped after 2012, spent a ton of money on analyzing their failings, concluded that they are not appealing to the growing Demographic trends or minorities. Seems all that work was thrown away, burned and forgotten about. Now its double down on the far, far right wing rhetoric, style of governing and attitudes. Seems Kasick could be a guy that might win a General Election, and he's a guy that isn't a clown, and very minimally panders to the crazies of the far right. Many of us center-left guys could live with him and respect him as President, even if we didn't vote for him. But progressives continue to shake our heads and say- go nominate THE most right wing radical you can find! Trump is an Entertainer, who's staying power is about as good as Usain Bolt running a mile race. He has never shown any ability to poll well in the general electorate, as his unfavorables are through the roof. As we say- best wishes!

Jon

Many of us have no qualms about dancing on the national political grave of
Eagle Scout Scotty Walker. A very fitting end to national ambitions. He joins fellow Wisconsinite Paul Ryan (Who?). At least Paul Ryan had a small streak of likability..

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/23/us/politics/scott-walkers-dismal-finish-is-a-fitting-result-old-foes-say.html

Bill Tozer

Well then, Jon, you could said "best wishes" from day one and saved a lot of posting.

Bolt in a mile. Now, that is a great image. I was once a distance runner. Broke records and all that stuff. Then they changed to meters and fresh areas to break stadium and school records. I thought I was a big time Charlie. Then, I decided to race against the Kenyans. Boy, talk about eating dust. We came by what would be called the 2mile mark in the three mile race, and I was in the front pack when this guy was counting out times, I realized that I was well under every two mile record I held and still a mile to go. Well, the Kenyans were just warming up and blasted into the next turn effortlessly like gazelles and then started to pick up the pace. Two laps to go and I felt my legs start turning to rubber and just then the Africans turned on the afterburners, lol. I ate much dust and pride I never crowed about my running days again. Oh, that is sooo off topic.

Here is my concern from my speck in the Universe. The libs as I call them or the Left Wing of the Leftist Party, is indeed growing in numbers and percentages. That appears to be happening for the last 16 years for sure. Mondale was ahead of his time. Now, today a guy like Mondale might win the prize and a guy like Scoop Jackson would be branded a Democrat in name only. A DINO. That is what you keep repeating, but if you ever learned to say it without that na-na gloating tone in your voice, I would have conceded a lot of your points a long time ago. Like, dude, the electorate is swinging your way. We inbred haters are fortified in the Alamo waiting for ya to drag us out. Come and get us. BTW, Jimmy Bowie made me a special knife with a big J on the blade. Look, it's for you. :)

I ain't going down graciously. We got our backs to the wall and run out of solutions. That is a dangerous situation to be in. Makes one's nostrils flare, his heartbeat quicken, and say it's a good day to die. Come on in, the door is open.
We like Trump cause he relishes poking you guys in the eye. He knows exactly what he is doing. More political savvy than he gets credit for. He will rip the RINOs a new one then turn his sights on you. I know too many Dem ladies that are cheering him on. They even say they can overlook his coarse rude arrogant to the max style. He can't be bought, says it like it is freely, and if he can get 10% done what he says he will do, then that would be fine w/ my friendly sweet Dem woman folk. He is saying what they wish they could say, but can't because they are shackled to lib-think, PC, and the thought police

bring it on. 2016 might be the Rhinos Alamo. Or, the beginning of a new relationship,

Todd Juvinall

Bernie Sanders was once fantasizing his perversions in a magazine. Hillary and her pal Obama think a "partial birth abortion" is just fine. And like Obama, the rest of the democrats always put the finger in the wind of public opinion to gather their policies of the moment.

Scott Walker defeated the union thugs three times and has beaten back the lib toe suckers in Wisconsin three times. You just have to give the man his kudos for defeating the "jon" trolls of his state. Love it!

And Gary Johnson, when he is sober, is not too bad a guy. But his finger on the button? No way. Same for any democrat. They can't be trusted as they are all on medication. Hillary's doctors say she has a ongoing concussion and may not be right in the head. But that works for the liberals. Hell, they murder babies and dismember them for their parts just like ISIL!

Don Bessee

Saw a funny story about selfies killing more people than sharks so far this year. Well at least death by selfie culls the herd of the self-involved narcissists so I guess you would have to say that some selfies are not a bad thing. LOL

George Rebane

Jon 434pm - I believe your planning to cut the rug on Paul Ryan's political grave is a mite premature; there is no evidence for that.

Bill Tozer

Oh Jon, it's me at pestering time. Not to be confused with your adult beverage time around 9:47 tonight.

Ok, here is my #1 grip about The Bern. He spouts his take care of us plan. Wants to increase spending of GDP by a third. Calls for 18 trillion more, only accounts for 6 billion in revenue. Problem with me is that his baseline is wrong. He says gov't spending is 20% of GDP. Well, that is 2012 numbers or before cause today it is pushing 30%. So The Bern wants to increase by a third that third of GDP, give or take. That is a huge bite the gobberment will be munching on under President Sanders. Don't care if he is a perv at this point. If he is, he is in good company over on his side of the street.
To be nice, Bern is a nice guy. Stays focused and disciplined. But he just cannot wrap his head around Econ 101 Also, he will be a gentleman and not lay a glove on Rodham when they debate....er...say nice things about Rodclam just because she has a vagina.
You know how I feel about voting for a criminal. Yeah, her last spin and talking points to her robots is there "is no evidence" pointing to a crime, lol. I wonder what happened to the so-called evidence. You know as Sec of State she used her PRIVATE e-mail ADDRESS, so if you were some diplomat in Timbuctu and you had to reach her at 3:00am, you could not e-mail her for help unless she personally gave you her private e-mail address herself. No wonder all those government correspondences never reached her. A great mystery I tell ya.

Finally, I am everything your side calls us. I can't handle a Blackman in the White House, I hate all foreigners, I really really hate Muslims and just am an ignorant Bible Thumper buying snake oil from Rednecks while one hand clings to my gun. I resist all change, am a card carrying member of the Flat Earth Society, and keep the sluts barefoot and pregnant and have dumped 50 pounds of roofing nails on the front porch and under all windows to keep it that way.
Now that I beat ya to the punch, you are a Racist too! I am telling Mommie on you.

What we have here is a failure to communicate the truth.

dang it, I did it again. Jon, you are a dumb bigoted racist . No sure if I should talk to you anymore.

Jon

Tozer,
you'd really be well served by imbibing a quality made cocktail, or two, after 8. Calms the nerves, relaxes the restless soul.

Bill Tozer

Good point there Jon. Unfortunately, I am in a pickle when it comes to the social lubricant you so enjoy so much on a nighty basis. Having that drunken Irish blood flow through my veins coupled with zero tolerance to firewater also flowing through my Injun veins makes for a bad combination for this poor soul. I drink and instantly I break out in spots. Spots like the Durango County Jail, Washo jail, Wayne Brown jail. St.James Parish jail, LA County jail (made famous by OJ and Paris Hilton), etc, etc, etc. you know, spots like that.
Add to the list the entire country of Can-na-da (a foreign country near the frozen tundra) which deported my drunken ass for instigating a riot between French and English hockey players on a train outside Quebec. What, was it something I said?
Some people have no since of humor.
All I did was see two hockey teams on a train, one French and another English when some drunk American yelled out in French how the French are pussies and then yelled out in English (with my best French accent) that the English suck donkey dongs and the first thing you know the whole train erupted in mayhem and violence against their fellow human beings. I sat and watched the brawl/riot with great wonderment. When the train stopped and the squadron of Mounties arrived, they asked who started this. All fingers pointed to an innocent American bystander who resembled little ole me. How unfair. Got deported for 10 years. Well, so did Amy Goodman so I am in good lib company.

No Jon, I best stick to Rave and Heroin, crank, crack, and Mescaline to soothe the savage beast. No alcohol.
So, let's drop the niceties, shall we. Why are you a libturd??

Hey, here is a novel idea from those that flunked Econ 101. At least the socialists are consistent.

Ben Emery

Here is a message from Lawrence Wilkerson who has all the credentials (White, Republican, Male, Career Military, Worked in Republican Administrations) you guys should like but for some reason I don't think you'll like his message.

Some excerpts

"Some of that substance has just manifested itself in the form of calls, emails and letters to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF), for which I am an advisory board member, having taken the place of Glen Doherty, a former Navy SEAL who was killed, sadly enough, in the same attack that took Ambassador Chris Stevens's life near Benghazi, Libya in 2012."

"As a Republican, I am utterly ashamed of my party. As a soldier for 31 years, I am disgusted with these "courageous" candidates, none of whom has served a day in the Infantry in their lives. As a citizen, I am deeply concerned for my country.

I can only take solace from the clear reality that none of them will ever win the White House.

Lawrence Wilkerson is a Visiting Professor of Government and Public Policy at the College of William and Mary. He was chief of staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell in the first George W. Bush administration. He served 31 years in the US Army."

Bill Tozer

Oh, there is always one in every woodpile. Maybe I will vote for LW if he ever puts his money where is mouth is.

As you know, Brother Ben, serving in the military is not a requirement to become Commander in Chief. Otherwise, we would be what some call a Military Dictatorship. Didn't hurt Ike or General Washington, but they obeyed the law of the land instead of creating new laws for themselves like Law Professors tend to do when they get their fingers on the button and control all those cool jet fighter aero planes.

Pity Larry didn't find "religion" earlier.......

Lawrence Wilkerson, the man who reviewed the intelligence in Secretary of State Colin Powell's infamous 2003 pre-Iraq War United Nations presentation said Thursday the Obama administration's buildup for a strike on Syria "seems like the same thing again."

"So far all I've thought is I'm living through the five days at Langley again, with people telling me Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction with absolutely certainty," Wilkerson, a retired Army colonel who served as Powell's chief of staff, said in a phone interview, referring to the Obama administration's public case for action against Syria in response to a chemical weapons attack,

Powell's team spent five days at the CIA headquarters in Langley, Va. in 2003, reviewing the evidence that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction. Then he went ahead with a crucial speech at the U.N. in New York, claiming that Iraq was stockpiling weapons of mass destruction. That assertion was false, and Wilkerson later rued his participation in preparing the speech as "probably the biggest mistake of my life."

Nothing more satisfying than a deathbed conversion....eh Ben?

Walt

Holy crap! Recall the ECO bastards that want to jail us sceptics? Recall my feelings on just who should really be jailed?
Well here is how much said ECO bastard is getting paid, and by whom.
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/09/22/lead-climate-scientist-behind-obamarico-letter-serious-questions-answer/
"For his expertise, Shukla is amply rewarded by George Mason University with a salary over $250,000 a year.
Apparently, though, this isn’t a full time job. It can’t be – because on top of this salary, from 2012 to 2014, Shukla appears to have paid himself and his wife $1.5 million from government climate grants for his part-time work via his non-profit Institute of Global Environment and Society (IGES)."

"IGES is an organization which gets almost all its income from US taxpayers – last year a whopping $3.8 million "

Yup,,, "non profit"...

Ben Emery

Well Fish,
I am not sure what you are trying to say with your comment. It seems to me that Lawrence Wilkerson was a dutiful toe the line Republican sheep and has since come to see the light. Being lied to by the Bush administration got him to help push for policies that have displaced, injured, and killed millions of innocent people. That has got to be a heavy load to carry around.

The Republican Party is insane at the moment and the fact that people will vote for Republican reps just because they are Republican shows how brainwashed and propagandized our electorate really is. The Democratic Party and voters aren't much different. They will back Obama/ Clinton illegal and immoral policies just like Republican voters did with Bush(s)/ Reagan/ Nixon. I would say LBJ didn't get such blind support.

What I'm saying Ben is that Larry might have "seen the light" a little earlier and saved those souls who were caught in the crossfire.

Still were I a republican I wouldn't too terribly concerned about your or Larrys definition of "insane".

Nobody is more important to those in power than their "captive" academics! Putting an intellectual sheen on any argument where the outcome has already been decided really makes managing the hoi polloi so much easier! It never hurts to be able to daze and confuse the rabble!

For additional information please refer to Krugman, Paul to see how the educated are truly "bought and paid for"!

Jon

Oh man, hope you guys are tuning into the Pope's messages so far today. Something tells me you aren't liking the quartet of messages on immigration, climate change, capitalism and dangerous political ideology. Oh man...a tough day to hear the most important voice of Christianity speak about what is contained in the Bible.

Kind of us our local know nothings in perspective doesn't it Jon :)

Pope is free to offer any message he likes.....but as we are constantly reminded by you lefty nitwits Christianity has no place in modern American governance!

Plus the pope is a Jesuit.....once they decided to buy into the Liberation Theology nonsense there was no reason to take them seriously about religion any more. It does explain the democratic party attempting to "Deck Stack" the electorate though and why they want to move all those south and central Americans into el Norte'.....hispanics always fall for the siren song of the socialista!

Stevo......how is "saving the world one government grant at a time" going? :) (Always include the smiley emoticon that way if somebody calls you on it later you can just say you were kidding....amirite?!?!)

Jon

Exactly Steve. Buts its OK..we enjoy watching guys like Tozer and Walt go off on their angered rants and raves.

Its a really good day and week in America. For 3 months the media has been caught up in a circus act called the Republican Primary and its Clown Car of lunatics and stand up comedians. Its about time we're going to hear from real leaders with thoughtful messages of truth,For all the supposed Christian Republicans on the right, we've yet to hear them reflect the actual Biblical teachings on immigration, the environment and dangers of greed and unfettered capitalism. All we've seen and heard is about hate, division and greed during this nutty Primary season. Its a really good week.

George Rebane

Administrivia - I draw your kind attention to the 23sep15 update to 'Preventable Global Warming ...' - the debate heats up.

George Rebane

It's always informative to note the wholehearted approval of secular humanists when the Bible suddenly becomes authoritative and is cited to support 'what is Caesar's, render unto God.'

Walt

Funny thing about LIBS,, they are at their happiest, when they are unhappy.
So was our LIB loony tune crew at the chemtrail fear fest? I hear they got a good turnout. they FLEW IN from all over the nation.
I guess some "super" ECO villain is out changing the "climate" of the West Coast.
Well fight back dudes,, take some of that ECO grant money and fly your own counter chemtrail air war. Seed the clouds and make it rain.
If man can actually "change the weather",, prove it, by doing it. You ECO bastards get PLENTY of money to fund such a sca... scheme,, so have at it. ( naaaa,,, it's easier to pad the bank account, and cost everyone else plenty.)

Walt

And Steve crawls out from under his rock the minute another ECO ripoff is exposed.
Funny how that works.

Jon

George, if you believe in the literal reading of the Bible then the teachings of Jesus are very clear to anyone with the ability to read and understand.
And very much opposed to what the modern Republican Party leadership is espousing.

Glad to see the global warming debate heating up. It will definitely be an election issue. As it should be.

George Rebane

Dear readers, the new and pristine 23sep15 sandbox is now posted and ready to receive your contributions.

Jon

Walt, that last frenzied post is more incomprehensible than usual. Just friendly advice to take a minute to regroup next time.

Walt

Sorry "jon",, it's not my problem you have piss poor comprehension skills.

Jon

Yeah Walt, well I guess we don't know that the hell you're talking about in regards to a "chemtrail fear fest"?? I was at Lake Tahoe last weekend paddleboarding, swimming, and watching the Ironman riders go by. Not up on chemtrail stuff. I doubt Steve is either. So, help us out please.

Bill Tozer

Well, Jon, I am not a Catholic but did attend a Jesuit University for a year. My favorite Jesuit Dr. professor offed himself later in the term. Don't think he was holding to the Catholic Doctrine about life, but I don't hold the Catholics accountable for one of the Jesuit's actions. Still, I just can't bring myself to call any human Father (except dear old Dad) as per my own beliefs, not even my cousin the Angelical/Church of England Priest/minister. I call him "Ron". Heck, I was raised a Holy Roller. Lots to poke fun at with my people. Tell ya one thing, our services were not boring, for sa.

The pope is the most popular person on the globe. Any pope is so I guess everybody knows him. But, it's not a popularity contest. Heck, Putin is more popular than Obama on the latest global polls, which explains a lot about the world we live in and our current President and his foreign policy advisors.
One must take into account the Pope's POV developed growing up in South Ametica. I can guarentee you, sir, that poverty in the USA is nothing like abject poverty in Argentina or Bazil. The Pope's definition of the poor is those literally those who scrounge the dumps for their next meal, not to mention potable drinking water or sanitation, or being orphans.
The people of numberous countries view us here as all millionaires. Filthy rich Americans. Something like over 58% of the "poor" in America own their own homes, drive automobiles, and have cable TV with electricity on demand. Of the measly 8 billion people dancing around, only 2 billion have a washer and dryer. That is so unfair. Wonder how many of our poor folk own a set of laundry machines, hmmmmmm?

Go ahead and bash the hypocrites that fall short of being perfect saints on Earth. Harder to live up to one's moral and philosphical convictions than ramble about them, unless you are a Kentucy county clerk. Gotta give credit where credit is due.

Funny to see the God haters fawn over the pope for his social issues, not so much for his firm un moveable stance on all life being sacred or homosexual marriage.
My, the Pope is a regular smorgasbord to the Extreme Hard Left Secuarlists. They pick and choose what they want to taste and avoid the other dishes like the plague. Nothing new under the sun.
The only difference between the radical leftists like Castro (or most liberals) and the Pope is simply the Pope does not think he is God.

Jon

Tozer, which right wing blog/site did you steal that last line from? Or is it yours? If so, you should obtain compensation. It certainly would be a guaranteed belly whopper at any GOP gathering.

Bill Tozer

Lol Jon. You are a funny funny man. Belly whopper. Oh, you opened the door wide on that phrase, but I am feeling pity of FatFuks today so I will let sleeping dogs lie. Belly whopper, that is too sweet. I may borrow that phrase to use at the appropriate opportunity if you don't mind. Belly whooper with cheese? Hehehehehehehe. ROLMAO, LOL, life's never been better, heheheheheh, Lol, ROFLMBAO. Sweet.
