Obama cannot change the mind of closed minded bigots. I think he tried, and learned the truth.

Working at Walmart can easily set off disturbed people.

Bill Tozer

Breaking news....it was not a Tesla truck nor the flying nun in France happening now. Check out the news....30 dead. Muslims did it.
What's wrong with keeping Islamic males of soldiering age out of here? Hey, Dozer, my life matters. So does yours....to you.

Obama cannot change the mind of closed minded bigots. I think he tried, and learned the truth.

Funny.....you expected Kasich to do just that not ten comments back. You really might want to think these things through a bit more before you post them.

Bill Tozer

Yep, Obama has single handedly unraveled the ball of security surrounding us. Opps, now 100 injured as I type this. Drove into crowd and started running over bodies. Nothing to see here.
People feeling secure are happier people. People secure in themselves are happier people. Obama just stole my peace of mind. There goes the tranquility I felt after Yoga....easy come, easy go.

Do understand clearly why the Islamic terrorists chose Bastille Day. That was the kick off to throwing off tyranny and the start of The French Revolution. Democracy bad, Sharia law good. Bring more of them in so more Americans can die. Amierican deaths good. Throwing pig blood at a Islamic, very berry bad...very bad.
Opps, off topic. Now back to the important stuff:
Name obe thing Obama has done to heal our nation. I am waiting. Put up or shut up.

Posted by: Bill Tozer | 14 July 2016 at 02:58 PM

Yes William....news just breaking now.....50 more leaving this earth "as good friends".

Bill Tozer

Obama just came out and spoke to the nation concerning banning trucks. He also mentioned more gun control, more cop control, and letting 7th Century immigrants into the USA, vetted by the UN, of course.

I have a thick head. Name one thing Obama or Hillary has done in the last 8 years to cross the divide, to build bridges, to heal our nation,
Think, man, think. I already came up with one: the beer summit between his former radical professor and one cop....after he got people all riled up by jumping to conclusions and blaming cops and racism....in 2009. . Opps, strike that one. Think Dozer, think of a mere one. At least POTUS is consistent in his bashing, I will give him that.
Oh, use actions not intentions. We already know where good intentions lead to.

UK abolishes Department of Energy and Climate Change

I remember when Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was crowing about the British approach to saving the world from global warming. Telling citizens we should follow the UK's example. Here is an opportunity for Governor Brown to follow the UK's example:

One of Theresa May’s first acts as Prime Minister was to abolish the Department of Energy and Climate Change, moving responsibility for climate change to a new Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy.

The new government under Theresa May will focus on much more important issues of economic growth, international competitiveness and leaving the European Union, with the hope this new direction will provide vital savings.

This is the first step in the un-obamaization of UK economics. Now if we could have a little of that action in California.

Russ Steele

Oh No!! NASA Data Shows Global Warming/Climate Change not causing recession of Polar Ice.

Updated NASA data on the polar ice cap is showing results that are contrary to all who claim global warming is receding it. Reportedly, global warming (better known presently as climate change) has not caused any recession of polar ice.

According to a report by Forbes, a NASA satellite instrument revealed that the Earth’s polar ice caps have not receded at all since it began its measurements back in 1979. From what was shown in its data, total polar ice has generally remained above the post-1979 average, a finding that contradicts the most-frequently spoken claims by those who push global warming as the primary reason why the polar ice caps are receding. [Emphasis added]

Governor Brown, call your office.

Another terrorist attack kills 70 and injures many more. this was in Nice, France a few hours ago. After the scum drove through and over the people with a big commercial type truck he got out and started shooting people. The cops got the scumbag. How did he get a weapon and all the ordinance in the truck? There were bombs and grenades reported. France is a strict gun control country. So, you tell me, how is that working for the French?

I am telling the EU they better get together, put a couple hundred thousand troops together and go kill those scum ISIL meatbags. We can help too. If the civilized world does not destroy them, we get what we get. So saddle up EU, get it together, get NATO and go getum. If you don't they will be coming to get you. Of course Germany let in 800,000 this last year so they are their own worst enemy. Oh well.

George Rebane

RussS 515pm - given the verity of the report, I don't think that the progressives and their lamestream will admit to this. It has become another great National Lie, and it will be repeated even if the ice sheets reach the St Lawrence River. National Lies worked for Stalin, Hitler, and Mao, and it will work for today's Left just as effectively.

George Rebane

I call your kind attention to the 14jul16 update to the 10jul16 Scattershots.

Jon Dozer

"I am telling the EU they better get together"

You go Todd..that's tellin em! Now for details- would you go house to house, detain and waterboard all Muslims you see, and kill the ones that look suspicious, and their kids too? That'll stop em for sure!

March 2003, thank you GWB. Thanks so much.

Jon Dozer

Todd, now you have the perfect opportunity to resolve your guilty conscience about not serving during wartime. You can volunteer to go to Europe as a US military advisor! Go getum Todd...YOU go getum! (as you so eloquently say in that folksy way of yours).:)

Don't take it personally Todd......"jon" is just concerned that the endless supply of stiff swarthy Middle Eastern pole that so deliciously tantalizes his "Southern Passage" might be cut off!

He can't help himself.

I think we should join our liberal friends and #PrayForTheNarrative

Jon Dozer

fish, your solution please. Send US special forces house to house in the cities of France? That's where the terrorists live. Gotta root em out somehow. Drop small bombs on the apartments? Snipers when the children come to the door? Anything else?

Todd Juvinall

Dozer is a troll so he can go make love to his Turkish friend and take the big one for the Gipper. He is truly a nothing but good comic relief here.

I have long maintained......and this is a direct quote.....that due to its Muslim fetish that "Europe is Fucked!"

Let this serve as a cautionary tale to the US.

PS: Couple more of these incidents and Trump won't need to run those campaign spots featuring James Comey. A very cost effective campaign to this point.

Bill Tozer

Name one Dozer, before saying "Move-On!"and do your happy dance.

Bob and weave, rope-a-dope. Oh, bubble boy, cat got your tongue? Just one. I am waiting, I am waiting.
Not even a crumb? Man, you are heartless as well as having stew for brains.

Hillary, Obama, and Dozer healing our nation, improving relations between races, creeds, religions, and Americans. Poor Obama.

Bill Tozer

My time flies. It seems like Europe has been around many many moons. Then in just a couple of years or so, the whole place turned into a garage dump with sewer rats and bush rats everywhere. Boom!, one day a nice place, the next day a House of Horrors. Thousands of rapists set loose on fine white women, safety nets torn asunder, Germany (the biggest and wealthiest one over there) goes negative on interest rates, and the Limeys saying "Get me out of here. Please, God, don't let us die in this shithole".
Man o man, seems like just yesterday that Paris and Scandinavia were places decent folks dreamed of vacationing to. Then, just like that, the place looks like a ghetto.

Wouldn't have anything to do with its new arrivals saying Islam is a religion of peace and chanting "No Free Speech" in demonstrations in the quaint cobblestone lined village squares, would it? Would it, Wally?
Just a couple of years of so is all it took.
Maybe we, too, can get some of that healing and bridge building on this side of the pond.
That would be swell.
Name just one, Dozer. I know you can't eat just one, but maybe you can think of just one. Just pick one out of the hundreds of examples you know.

Careful Bill or somebody is going to drop a Yoga reference on you......

Jon Dozer

Bush rats. Exactly. Baghdad 2003. March of the year. The beginning of the madness.

Jon Dozer

"Poor Obama." Tozer

51% approval. Highest of any lame duck President in our lifetime.

Jon Dozer

Any of you boys have any solutions to Europe's problem? These homegrown terrorists have been part of their society for a generation now in many cases. What would you do Todd- Mr. Chickenhawk? you want the USA USA USA to go help them out. Give me your definition of "helping" please. Executions, detention camps, torture?

Posted by: Jon Dozer | 14 July 2016 at 09:45 PM

Well I think we should immediately consult President Hollandes $11,000 a month hair stylist.

Jeez....they just aren't you making you socialist fucksticks like they used to. I seem to recall them as being made from sterner stuff and not nearly so preoccupied with Yoga and always thinning progressive locks.

.......and as always.....thanks.

In California your political legacy lives on long after your death thanks to our Democrat controlled legislature and administration. It may not be the legacy you prefer, but in California you will continue to vote long after you have been laid to rest under Mother Natures shade trees.

Even worse, a CBS News investigation found hundreds of deceased voters in Los Angeles County were still on voter rolls and voting. This discrepancy should have been corrected by the 2002 Help America Vote Act, but California is the only state yet to comply.

“The problem is California has been the most derelict state in the country in implementing statewide databases that are required under federal law. They just blew it off for over a decade,” J. Christian Adams of the Public Interest Legal Foundation told CBS News.

Leading up to the primaries, state election officials were investigating why and how the voter data of millions of Californians was posted online by a third party, despite public disclosure laws.
Voter tampering has been frequently cited in California, with many alleging their party registration was changed without their consent. In Riverside County, district attorney Mike Hestrin confirmed voters’ party affiliations were changed without their knowledge, and the San Francisco Examiner reported 1,400 voters in San Francisco were mailed the wrong party ballots before the primaries.

Now you know why the two outsiders, Trump and Sanders get so much traction, we are living in a corrupt political system.

“The problem is California has been the most derelict state in the country in implementing statewide databases that are required under federal law. They just blew it off for over a decade,” J. Christian Adams of the Public Interest Legal Foundation told CBS News."

Well of course they blew it off for 10 years.....there was high speed rail graft to spread around.

"Clinton to Resettle One Million Muslim Migrants During First Term Alone..."

....and in other news ........menopausal woman looks for something to do after losing election.

You just have to feel sorry for poor Hill-Bot!

Jon Dozer

Several hours now and still waiting for the ideas/solutions from this board's regulars to control terrorism in France and Europe..

Posted by: Jon Dozer | 15 July 2016 at 09:54 AM

Stop importing the unassimilable. Stop feeding/supporting the indolent. Deport any non-citizen muslim with a criminal record all the way down to jaywalking to their country of origin. That takes care of the newbies.

No clue what to do with the French citizens who are Muslim.....then again I did say the Europe was fucked due to following the immigration policy prescriptions of people at your level of thinking.....you know.....crazy cat lady thinking.

Todd Juvinall

No idea how the French should deal with it. You tell us Dozer, what are your ideas.

Hmmmmm.....no "dozer".....and this after being so adamant about receiving a response. Probably looking up the word "indolent". Sad.

Russ Steele

Just in case you were wondering

Here is a quick look at the congressional voting record of Mike Pence, who appears to be Donald Trump's choice as a running mate.

He's real good on rejecting bailouts:

2008: Lonely GOP dissent against Wall Street bailout. (Aug 2010)
Voted NO on $15B bailout for GM and Chrysler. (Dec 2008)
Voted NO on monitoring TARP funds to ensure more mortgage relief. (Jan 2009)

And good on preventing the expansion of government involvement in the housing sector:
Voted YES on terminating the Home Affordable mortgage Program. (Mar 2011)
Voted NO on modifying bankruptcy rules to avoid mortgage foreclosures. (Mar 2009)
Voted NO on monitoring TARP funds to ensure more mortgage relief. (Jan 2009)
Voted NO on revitalizing severely distressed public housing. (Jan 2008)
Voted NO on regulating the subprime mortgage industry. (Nov 2007)
Possibly good on the budget (If he is in favor of budget cuts rather than higher taxes to make the budget balance).

Called for:
A balanced budget, by Constitutional amendment. (Jan 2011)
Proposed a balanced budget amendment to the US Constitution. (Jan 2011)
Bad on National Industrial Policy:
Voted YES on more funding for nanotechnology R&D and commercialization. (Jul 2009)
Voted YES on $167B over 10 years for farm price supports. (Oct 2001)

Appears to support backroom globalism:
Voted YES on promoting free trade with Peru. (Nov 2007)
Voted NO on assisting workers who lose jobs due to globalization. (Oct 2007)
Voted YES on implementing CAFTA, Central America Free Trade. (Jul 2005)
Voted YES on implementing US-Australia Free Trade Agreement. (Jul 2004)
Voted YES on implementing US-Singapore free trade agreement. (Jul 2003)
Voted YES on implementing free trade agreement with Chile. (Jul 2003)

A mixed bag on government interference in the jobs sector:
Voted YES on extending unemployment benefits from 39 weeks to 59 weeks. (Oct 2008)
Voted NO on restricting employer interference in union organizing. (Mar 2007)
Voted NO on increasing minimum wage to $7.25. (Jan 2007)
Voted YES on zero-funding OSHA's Ergonomics Rules instead of $4.5B. (Mar 2001)

Jon Dozer

Pence and Drumpf with several conflicting policy views...that's going to be real interesting. Besides big difference of opinion on Iraq, Pence is a traditioinal GOP global free trader like Romney and Paul Ryan- one of Drumpf's big talking points.

Bill Tozer

Dozer @ 9:54am......
Several hours and YOU are still waiting? Heck, I have been waiting since yesterday for YOU to answer one little easy question. I have waiting 5 times longer! Ok, Dozer, you go first as we answer questions in the order they were presented.

Dozer, you got Attention Deficit Disorder???? Name one tangible thing Obama has done to heal the rift in our nation in the realm of human relations within our homeland. I am waiting, I am waiting. One thing to build bridges across the Great Divide. One thing that is evidence he is a uniter. Just one, ADD bubble boy.

Hey, what goes on in Paris, stays in Paris and Nice. Let the French handle it anyway they please.

Bill Tozer

The French made the mistake of letting the little folded sheet heads in. They have to live with the consequences. It's their problem, not ours.

Solution: we should learn from their monstrous mistake and not let the little folded sheet heads into the USA. Like, there is not one law on the books saying we have to let lice infested sewer rats into our country, now is there?? May Europe and the EU rot in the hell they wrought upon themselves. Nothing to see here.

Bill Tozer

This is too funny. Here is your belly laughs for today, albeit yesterday's news. Out of the blue, those vulnerable Republican Senators are suddenly not so vulnerable. Told ya Dems and Wall Street and Mr. Soros that it will take a lot more than a measly 57 million ad campaign to start breaking away.. Retaking the Senate....not a sure bet, is it?

"NBC News reported this week that Clinton’s campaign and allied super-PACs have spent $57 million so far, while Trump’s campaign hasn’t spent anything, and two allied outside groups have spent only $3.6 million."
Team Clinton has outspent Team Trump in nine battleground states by a 40-1 ratio, NBC reported"

Clinton' response?
“She said there are other issues. People are unhappy and they don’t trust institutions,” the senator explained."

Nope, not the full story. People don't trust "institions" is true, but the higher truth is people don't trust you and what you and Obama have done to our institutions.

Clinton reassured the freaked out Dems that although her numbers are sinking, that does not mean Trump's numbers are rising. Aha! Eureka! I found the silver lining. There is always a silver lining to appease the Dem "bedwetters".

Jon Dozer

A candidate fully in control..:)

Nice piece by Mr Boardman in today's Union. It's the first one I've seen that brings up Reinette's repeated history of blaming cops for working in collusion to create mayhem across the country by murdering Americans. I'm sure he'll get paid in full with an extra chem trail fly-by this week.
