That's creepy......internet sock puppet 1 engaging with internet sock puppet 2.

Do you think jeffy sticks his chubby mitts up real puppets to act out the exchange before it finds its way online?

Dallas cops deserved to get killed. Does this woman deserve to run Nevada City?

You do realize that you're commenting on an article posted on a satirical website?

Jon Dozer

sorry fish, no connection to anyone or anything in Mr. Pelline's blog. But please continue your foolish foray into your fantasy world.

Don Bessee

Fish 1025 - She actually did posted it on her facebook page. Go check, its the 3rd post down on her page. What an honor for Nevada City to have her on their city council. Shame on her.

rl crabb

Sorry to say, but the recently installed councilperson did post her anti-cop screed on Facebook. I saw it before it disappeared.

Jon Dozer

Back to the topic of the day-

No one deserved to be killed in Dallas. A horrible evening in Dallas, with a peaceful, legitimate protest being presided over by a protective police presence. Dallas appears to have very good relations between the community and the police force. But the fact is, events of the last week, and last 2 years have brought to long held, and long known light policing practices against innocent black citizens of America. It appears the latest murderous acts by officers against innocent black men set of that armed and trained lunatic in Dallas, a lunatic further primed by his military experience in Iraq, an immoral, insane war for so many, including the GOP nominee. War has impacts on people, and makes unstable people become criminals and yes, terrorists. Anyone who looks at Dallas in a vacuum is either ignorant or not interested in solving the problems of violence against innocents and LE personnel.

I don't do Facebook Don.

jon smith

Fish, I see nothing satirical or tongue in cheek in this article. This article would be totally in keeping with her past statements about mass shootings. From time to time the Scooper actually runs news.

Jon Dozer

OK fish, have it your way. I will continue posting here anyway, knowing you haven't a clue.

George Rebane

re NC council mama's screed - does that mean that she is in favor of more snipers in other cities taking down more of the police on duty with the demonstrators? Sounds like someone of the Left is ready to celebrate the start of a genuine blood-in-the-gutters revolution. Isn't that what the Left has been diligently accusing the Right of as they do their 'we know what you are really thinking' commentaries? Oh well.

Jon Dozer

Who the hell would celebrate a blood in the gutters revolution? Only certified ANARCHISTS on the lunatic fringes of right and left. I cannot imagine anyone on the progressive left being anything less than nauseated about ALL the events of the last 72 hours.

Why so upset? You post under a pseudonym, you bleat the same lefty bleatings as jeffy, you're writing styles are vaguely similar....why wouldn't I think you were jeffy?

Even if you're not jeffy it makes me laugh to think you are.

So until I know differently.......

After reading the article I retract my criticism.

The Scooper tends towards "The Onion" so I didn't expect anything that wasn't overtly satirical. As I mentioned to Don I spend almost zero time on Facebook (other than Tozers linked mems/photos) so I wouldn't have seen it there either!

Oh, here he goes _ "It appears the latest murderous acts by officers against innocent black men set of that armed and trained lunatic in Dallas..."
Jonnie boy - you need to take a deep breath and check out the facts. White cops don't go around 'murdering' innocent blacks.
But you live in the fact-free zone and continue the same type of talk that 'sets off' crazies. By your own logic, you're to blame as well.
If you can calm down and stop blowing spittle all over the place, we might, just might, have a conversation about police brutality, poorly trained police and the like. We can look at facts about fatal interactions between the police and the American public re ALL citizens - not just a certain skin color. We can maybe agree that ALL lives matter in the world, but I'm not holding my breath.
BTW - how's the Hope and Change thingie working out?

Jon Dozer

RL, that one is going to get really, really ugly before its over. Ailes days are numbered at Faux.

Jon Dozer

"White cops don't go around 'murdering' innocent blacks." Scott

Do tell, Scott? No, of course 99% don't. Some do, as we see now. Difference from the old days is we have instant video technology capturing all this today.

Todd Juvinall

Ailes is just fine. Nothing to see here except a woman scorned.

Jon Dozer

BTW, Scott, would love to see you tell an African American they need to calm down after the 2 murders of innocent black citizens this week.. No "clean cut" white guy is going to get his arm blown off in the front seat of his car for no reason, with a 4 year old in the back seat. The Gov. of Minnesota spoke truth.

Bill Tozer

Hey Dozed. I hear ya about the ALL events. Some you just add more weight to than others. We all do that, no biggie

It all seems so long ago when Bernie was drawing uge crowds and BLM (man, those were some downright ugly...and I mean ugly) BLM chicks grabbed his microphone in Seatlle and went nuts when Bernie foolishly said "Gay Lives Matter." Big no-no. Then some racists knuckledraggers said the Unforgiveable Sin by spouting "All Lives Matter"

We all hoped with Obama's 2008 historic election that finally we would have the national dialogue on black-white racial matters and the healing of the wounds would begin. Afterall, he was the unheard of dude that had to borrow money just to get to the Dem Convention to utter the words that propelled him into the national stage. Those words were "there is no blue states, no red states, just The United States"
I submit to you the oblivious: Race relations n the US have purposely grown worse since 2008. In stead of healing, we received a ripping open of wounds bigger than ever. Instead of "the dialogue" we got Reverend Jeremiah Wright's words coming out of Obama's mouth.
I will pose a question. Who has the most to gain from all the events of the last 72 hours? Who gains politically? TO BE CLEAR, I am specifically talking about black-white relations in the USA in 2016. The issues of illegal aliens flooding across our Southetn border of Islamics legally entering via our immigration polices, visas, etc can be addressed later. This is about black-white relations, the events of the last 72 hours.
Who gains politically from embracing victimization and the death of Justice?
I have pimps more than I hate race pumps. Who gains politically while the millions of Jeromes and Johnnies on the street loses?

C'mon....power to the poor guys who really have to employ unorthodox means to get laid!

Jon Dozer

Tozer, not sure who has more to gain from this week's events. Can't even think in those terms. No one is moving toward political advantages here, even Drumpf, so far. The level of gun violence is out of control.

Jon Dozer

Hey Toze, just reading about it, I don't believe terrorism from our loose immigration policies had much to do with this week's events. We are a sick American culture from within, and don't really need not need any of Drumpf's strawmen bad-guy Muslims from the outside to create death and mayhem.

Todd Juvinall

Maybe the energy of complaint placed into making things better physically in their own communities might make things better. But when you have all that negativity it just breeds more.

What we're really dealing with with the left.....

"DeLay and Perry were indicted in Travis County, Texas, which is run by Democrats who like to make ritual sacrifices of the occasional Republican politician. They know that they can do this with no fear of sanction from, say, Barack Obama’s Justice Department. The Democratic party in Texas is a criminal enterprise (my friend Michael Walsh describes the Democrats at large as a crime syndicate masquerading as a political party, which isn’t inaccurate) that is sustained by corruption and old-fashioned ward politics that would have been familiar to a Chicago boss in the 1920s or a denizen of Tammany Hall. The Democrats happen to run Washington, too, which is why Hillary Rodham Clinton knows that she can violate the law, at will, for obvious personal political reasons, with very little fear of official sanction. And the fact is, the Democrats prefer their politicians a little crooked, a little dirty. It helps them, a Chavista party constrained mainly by the temperamental (rather than ideological) conservatism of the American electorate, to make up in viciousness what they lack in policy ideas appropriate to the 21st century.

That lack of policy ideas isn’t really very important. The Left isn’t interested in policy; it is interested in power, and the things you can do with it, meaning rewarding one’s friends and punishing one’s enemies. Barack Obama has been, in his less guarded moments, fairly plain about that. For the Left, all justice is Wonderland justice: decision first, arguments afterward as necessary. There is seldom if ever any doubt about how the so-called liberals on the Supreme Court (who are not liberals at all) will vote on any question: They will vote the way the Left wants them to. Elena Kagan, you may recall, testified in her confirmation hearings that there is no constitutional right to same-sex marriage lurking in the penumbras to be discovered. Once confirmed, she reached a little deeper and pulled one out. Conservatives can never really guess which way a Kennedy or a Roberts is going to come down on a question, but you know how the judges of the Left are going to vote. Arguments do not matter; only outcomes matter."

Dozed: Too many typos on last post, sorry. 'I hate pimps more than I hate race pimps". See, I am more inclined to be a "rubber meets the road kind of guy". Put a face on it. Just like I did for you to help you see Ambassor Stevens's last hour as he was thinking about his wife and kids and the things he cherished most and saying the prayer millions before him (as well as I) pray, "God, don't let me die in this shithole." Put a face on it before you do the political advantage dance on his grave..

Yo, Crabbie, I never told you this, but Doc used to call me from Colorado when he bought that condo and got married to a crazy female.. I would just listen on the phone as we would solve life's problems. Yes, you know how to put a face on it as well, but I digress.

I do miss the good old days. Someone/anyone would say one thing about Stevie and jon smith (the bad one...the one whose best part ran down...)....anyway, one little word against Stevie and pesto!...Stevie's little boy toy would appear all revved up and ready to defend his idol. My pool boys locked up in the basement are just like that as well.
No, Stevie does not need a sock puppet. He is articulate, puts forth his agruments in a logical order with many cited sources and effort, and always, always answer any question directed his way. Even reasonable.
No, Dozed, Steve ain't no puppet nor needs one. He stands upright just fine on his own two feet and out of the shadows. I do miss his boy toy coming out to tell us what we said about his Number One are fighting words. That monkey on the organ grinder's backside I do miss. He was just as predictable as you, my little sheet stain, but sooo much better at what he did.

Post all you want. What's the latest Trumpf news? Oh! BTW, it did not help Gretchen's cause that her ratings starting sinking like a stone before she got the possibly deserved ax. I don't even have TV, but when she started warming up to the Liberal "People don't kill people, guns do" mantra, any fool could see she was at the end of the long rope Fox gave her.
Hope burns eternal. It's the end of the road for Roger, the guy who pulled a Bubba on an underling in the Executive Office. Sex sells!!

Jon Dozer

Gregory

George wiped out a comment of mine that belonged in the other thread because the idiotic Jon Dozer had a retort along the lines of "the guy deserved to die, why care that the cops used a bomb to kill him?

Saved in a window not refreshed:

"jon smith" 9:29

Hand grenades are a military grade weapon that civilian police departments have not embraced in the past, and there is really no difference between something akin to a hand grenade delivered by a robot on the ground and a grenade delivered by a flying drone. Or a missile fired from a drone.

The shooter was going nowhere... the police could have waited him out rather than having a grenade delivered by remote control.

Now, George likes the term "par force" but I don't. I prefer the term "civilian"; state and local police are CIVILIANS, and they should be limited to civilian weapons. Just imagine had Sec'y Condoleeza Rice lived her childhood where the local nightriding Sheriff Clarks, if they wanted to kill teach some black fathers a lesson, they could have sent in a robot with a bomb to cure them of their uppityness, and little Miss Rice might have been wiped out by the same blast that took out her dad.

There have always been rogue police and rogue military. If we want them to be well-regulated, the right of the people to own and keep weapons must not be infringed.

More and more, cops are brandishing military weaponry and operating under paramilitary rules. This will not end well.

"sorry fish, no connection to anyone or anything in Mr. Pelline's blog. But please continue your foolish foray into your fantasy world."- Dozer/Pelline 10:26

Bullschat. One, no one in Nevada County says "Mr. Pelline" unless he owes them money. Two, after it gets mentioned here that Jeffie is talking to himself at the ol' blogsiteand needs some friends, two of his socks dutifully snap to attention. Golly, Jeff, doesn't Gloria Zane deserve some fresh air too?

Three, Jeff Pelline is the most narcissistic bastard I know in Nirvana County, and his own blog, which used to be a happening place despite his well known abusive rhetoric of anyone who doesn't match his self described "moderate" views which don't seem much different than Bernie Sanders'. Hard Left. Which brings us to his need to tar anyone who posts here as "hard right" while the hardest left he ever refers to on the DP side is "moderate". He needs to be the center of attention, stirring crap here is the best he can manage at the moment.

Well, Reinette Senum just went off the hard left side of the deck with that Facebook post of hers (yes, I also dug up her FB to see for myself). I think that might be grounds for asking for her resignation from the Council, and a recall if she doesn't but then, I live in Nevada City only by zipcode.

Jon Dozer

"Jon Dozer had a retort along the lines of "the guy deserved to die, why care that the cops used a bomb to kill him?"

WTF are you talking about? No retort by this Jon. Gregory, are you taking strong cough medicine today?

Bill Tozer

My. First and foremost. Yo Dr. Rebane, better get ready to start a new Sandbox. This will be will filled up and ready to dump in a few hours, not days. Just a heads up.

Gregory, the encroachment of military hardware into our civilian LE departments is indeed troublesome. However, let's look back abit to see how we got where we got over, say, 50 years.
3 stories, two from LA.
. 1) Remember when the SLA kidnapped Patty Hearst and that saga? The LAPD surrounded a SLA hideout in LA and used plenty of force. Tear gas canisters propelled into the abode and the whole nine yards. Think it was the first time the battering ram made the headlines. The police chief came under heavy criticism after demolishing the house and leaving the SLA members firing back like Crispy Critters. They got toasted like burnt marshmallows.
The chief of police's quipped back to the cacophonous outcry: they declared war and we treated it as war,
2) Remember those TV scenes of the bank robbers in the Wilshire District in LA strolling slowly down the street plugging cops effortlessly and calmly, even shooting the police hiding on the other side of their squad cars for protection? Done shot right thru those police cars. After that, every cop in the nation was clamoring for firepower to match the Bad Guy's firepower.

3). My Dad. Once asked my pa later in life what was his proudest accomplishment in all his years on "the department". He did not hesitate one second and answered "I never killed anybody." He was old school where a cop would rather physically wrestle folks to the ground, make them say "Uncle" or lift them upside down by their ankles rather than ever pull out his 38 revolver. Yep, that little snub nose was his weapon of choice. Seems silly now. Sure, he fired off a few warning shots in his time and grabbed a shotgun if doing a stakeout on an armed and dangerous fugitive, but times have changed, Footnote: he barely made the qualifications to be a cop as a rookie because he was only 6' 1". They hired only the big boys for a big boy job back then. Weight lifting was mandatory.
Dad felt it that two things contributed to where we are now. First, the bad guys started getting more firepower. Back in the day the most feared (by cops) weapon a bad guy had was the lethal concealed sawed off shotgun.
He also felt by lowering the size qualifications of officers (and adding women officers on the streets) was responsible for more police officers shooting suspects. Sure, a sexist thing to say today. But he felt that a 5'7" 160 pound officer confronting a 6'6" angry suspect on Angel Dust..well, it's logical that the smaller cop would be more apt to unholster the gun instead of physically subduing the crazy. Hey, whatever it takes to make it through the shift alive. Michael Brown in Fergerson comes to mind, without the Angel Dust part.
So, from that history, we can see the evolution of more and more firepower. In Dallas, that guy said he was ready to denotate bombs scattered about the civilian hubs in un known places. Take him at his word and do what it takes to terminate the threat to civilians and cops alike. Afterall, the suspect did declare war and of warfare is what he got.
Despite the way Dallas police or Texas Rangers took the suspect out, are you implying that it was worth the risk to the cops and innocent civilians that he wasn't ready to set off bombs across Downtown?? Suppose it wasn't a bluff? Suppose it was? Glad we will ever find out he meant what he said.

jon smith

I'm not sure why Gregory has his panties in a bunch over this. The cops neatly ended the situation with the tools at hand. The guy shot a dozen of their own and killed five. They felt he was a continued threat (he escalated the threat by claiming to have bombs) so they killed him with their own bomb and did so without causing any collateral damage. Cops dropped bombs from helicopters to evict some folks in Philly (1985). I think that was a bit excessive, but have no problem with them using flash bangs, tear gas grenades (yes they kill), det cord and shaped charges as needed to ensure public safety. I don't think we need to "play fair" when dealing with assassins and terrorists. When they start playing with bombs we have every right to bomb them back.

You must admit the cops saved us a lot of time and money that would have otherwise been used in the legal system.

Gregory

js 234

Hand grenades and other antipersonnel munitions have no place in civilian police organizations. Neither do machine guns or drone strikes.

The shooter wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. I realize the cops had the explosive toy and had powerful emotional arrows pointing toward blowing the asshole up, but they shouldn't have.

The killer was a veteran of the Middle East conflict... what if he was suffering from service induced PTSD? Does that change your bloodthirsty impulses?
We should be better than the racist asshole the shooter was yesterday.

Bill Tozer

Agreed with both js and gregorgy. There will be a bunch of commissons, inquirys, investigations, and Monday morning quarterbacking in the weeks and months ahead to figure out how we can do it better. The one thing that keeps going thru my melon is the image of all those bullets bouncing off the suspect's bullet proof armor as he was dancing between pillars. No time to wait for a blue ribbon commission. The tornado passed and the wind stopped blowing. The cops improvised to elminate the threat. He was a good shot, I will give him that. Not as good as Lee Harvey O, but then again Oswald was a marine, not an army boy.:)

Jon Dozer

Here's the Live One of The Week- Virginia Trump Chair, Corey Stewart. When the Drumpf campaign disavows this comment, you know its beyond warped.

“Liberal politicians who label police as racists — specifically Hillary Clinton and Virginia Lt. Governor Ralph Northam — are to blame for essentially encouraging the murder of these police officers tonight.”

Right Corey, and those videos in Minnesota and LA were doctored as well..

George Rebane

BillT 309pm - Mr Tozer, that comparison is one without a basis. The Army beats the Marines regularly and badly in both sniper and tactical (known distance and moving against moving targets) competitions. The Marines, however, have put great emphasis (and budgets) on PR and good looking uniforms which does give them an advantage in the public eye. Semper fi ;-)

jon smith

Gregory-
For the love of God he was SHOOTING PEOPLE!! "He wasn't going anywhere" - In his own words he didn't need to "go anywhere" to continue his killing spree because he claimed to have triggers to remotely detonate bombs.

I don't care if he was Mother Theresa or had PTSD, HIV, or simply a bad hair day. The moment someone starts randomly killing people, whatever his excuse, he needs to be taken out of the equation as quickly and efficiently as possible. We can discuss his emotional "challenges" once he's behind bars or in a body bag. This guy didn't leave much room for choice.

Gregory

Calm down "jon smith"...At the time he was blown up, he was ensconced in a spot where he could not shoot anyone, nor could he be shot. Not an immediate threat.

What you are describing are the military rules of engagement. These were police officers and the perp was a civilian.

Governor Brown Call Your Office: Carbon Markets Collapsing

LONDON, July 8 — Carbon markets, the free-enterprise solution to saving the world from global warming, are now in danger themselves.

The idea was simple enough: Set a cap on carbon emissions, issue enough permits to allow power plants, refineries and the like to stay within those limits and then shrink the cap over time to achieve reductions. The companies whose emissions fall fastest can sell their permits for a profit to slower responders — call it a reward for good behaviour.

The reality, though, is more complex. Undercut by a lack of political will on the size of caps and overtaken by costly new environmental mandates, carbon markets in the US, Europe and Asia are collapsing, with prices so low they’ve become virtually valueless. The credits auctioned in the US Northeast in June, for instance, sold for just US$4.53 (RM18.27) a short tonne, a 40 per cent drop from December. [emphasis added]

- See more at: http://www.themalaymailonline.com/money/article/tough-task-to-prevent-global-warming-when-carbon-is-this-cheap

I think he got the message during the last CARB Carbon Credit Auction, it only took in $12 million when the expectation was $150 million putting a crimp in the highspeed rail slush fund.

Todd, Newt actually says something intelligent from time to time. I've never questioned the man's brainpower. Sat next to him one time in air-train coming out of a terminal at Hartsfield Airport in Atlanta, circa 1997...small talk for a minute or so. The man has a massive head, I mean massive!

Bonnie McGuire

Totally ignored in this discussion of our nation becoming more violent is the moral equation. Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Why? Because some humans tend to think they can do whatever they want...even though it's illegal, because they're so smart. Belief in a higher power that sees, and knows everything and rewards, or punishes accordingly tends to motivate higher personal motives. Spiritually motivated self disciplined individuals and nations rise to great achievements. Without it they self destruct. Our prisons are overflowing...and the ethics of those running our government, who swear an oath to uphold our Constitution indicate we're sliding downhill.

The warped Islamist terrorists cloaked in the flag of Islam would certainly agree with you. Many of the rest of this know this to be a total crock of BS.

"some humans tend to think they can do whatever they want...even though it's illegal, because they're so smart. Belief in a higher power that sees, and knows everything and rewards, or punishes accordingly tends to motivate higher personal motives."

True on the first point. Ah, but then we must think of the thousands of documented cases of god fearing Catholic priests and bishops committing heinous acts, in the name of their god almighty. Plenty of god fearing criminals there Bonnie.

jon smith

Bonnie-
Jimmie Carter was our last God fearing president, therefore Ronald Reagan must have initiated our slide into violence. Bonnie, I don't fear God. I don't even believe there is a god but have never been inclined to shoot anyone or even stab them with a screwdriver. If it is only the fear of God that keeps you in line, then your belief is a very good thing. Not all of us need your fear to be good people.

My my, look what's in the puke bucket. Agree with your assessment of the better looking uniforms. They always look better when you learn to walk with your shoulders back, instead of being a slouch potato walking around in a gunny sack with shinny foil Wrigley's gum wrappers where medals are supposed to go. Heard you guys pass them out to each other like candy. Aha!

Ok pencil pusher, riddle me this: Why is that when all hell breaks loose, the Marines are sent in? While you boys are busy trying to get all the conveys in a straight line, wipe the sleep from you eyes, find your clipboards and scramble to make sure all the fine silverware is packed, the Marines are already storming the beachhead, securing the area, and sending the enemy back headfirst to the place where they were born...getting them back into the womb is a pretty tight squeeze and only a few good men can do it.. Then after all the smoke has cleared and things start quieting down, the Army shows up with a bunch of jeeps and trucks and Generals and picnic tables and claim all the credit. How come???
At least the Navy boys got us close and the fly boys provided cover. Where were you supply boys? Back on the range shooting at bulls eyes? Aha! Let we know when your boys are done passing out chewing gum wrappers and pinning them on each other. Us jar heads got work to do.

Oh yeah, I can't hear you. I still can't hear you. How come? Eh? I still can't hear you....sir. :)

First of all, I plan to be back in town next week, so you go out and find one jonnie. Might be a problem since you've chosen to live in one of the whitest counties in California. Then, if said American with an African background needs to be calmed down, I'll be happy to point out statistics that show that this individual really should be far more afraid of running into a member of his own 'community'. As to your latest spittle blowing about 2 murdered innocent blacks, you might want to provide some sort of detail, such as a name or such. I realize that asking for details and facts amounts, these days, to a micro-aggression, but it's kinda important to adults to be able to have an intelligent discussion.
So - balls in your court, jonnie boy. Let's plan this through George's blog. We can have the event at a neutral arena. Taste Of Thai is one of my fave's. Or the Old Republic or - hell, Kilroy's.
You bring your badly addled left-wing qualified person-of-color. No fair bringing some one who 'identifies' with a 'certain' community. They gotta be gen-u-wine.
I will be there armed with facts, my Mohamed Ali quotes, and my cheerful demeanor. Hopefully, it will be videoed and uploaded to Youtube. Fun for the whole family!

Oh, I just missed that one: " Ah, but then we must think of the thousands of documented cases of god fearing Catholic priests and bishops committing heinous acts, in the name of their god almighty."
Really? You have documentation of folks that 'fear' God and yet commit heinous acts? Love to see the proof that they fear God. Please bring that to the gathering next week end. Thanks!

Placer County Deputies Association is urging a boycott of Reinette Senum's restaurant following her inflammatory internet screed regarding the Dallas massacre, "This was completely incited by America's police force. They have obviously been given directives to go out there and kill. It's insane and it's meant to create mayhem."
It is very unfortunate that our few day's old City Council Woman has started off on this foot with local law enforcement agencies. I can only wonder what it must be like for the Nevada City sheriffs who actually have to work under her.

I agree with Sith. It is actually the Police not Sheriff's though. She has stuck her foot up her own ass on this one. All those chemtrails made her do it. Just wait for the excuses.

Smith is a Sith! Who knew. ;-)

Todd Juvinall

LOL! Reinette Senum sure is a piece of work. Just like that worm farm she gipped the taxpayers with.

Don Bessee

Senum is a Nevada City Council member and has nothing to do with the Sheriffs. She does however have the Nevada City PD to screw with. From what I am hearing the Placer Deputies are not the only ones taking action. After that incomprehensible, bat shit crazy, anti-LE declaration she should resign now before it gets worse for Nevada City much less the restaurant.

Oh no! - and from jonnie boy's fave gal!
"there is so much more to be done… we can’t be engaging in hateful rhetoric or incitement of violence, we need to be bringing people together … we need more love and kindness.”
Hear that jonnie? Let's come together! Next weekend!
Love and Kindness. Hugs and kisses all around!

Everyone pontificates about this and in my view most are BSing reality. Police can be human and can overreact. No doubt about it. They can also discharge their weapons and become the hangman. Most police, 99% in my opinion do a fine job and treat people equally. When they are caught doing bad things they are prosecuted just as a regular citizen. But until you police the inner cities, I say to all you white guilt people, shut up. You have no clue. I abhor the Minnesota and Louisiana killings but to taint the entire countries police is ridiculous. I suggest anyone who doubts the pressure of pulling over someone or knocking on their door do it themselves and feel the sweat pour down your neck. These men and women do it every day. 20,000 have died over the last century from being killed by the bad guys. So go ahead and make your broad generalizations about the cops but for the most part they do their best under tough circumstances. They are the best trained on the planet. Get rid of the few bad ones. Pray they come to help you when you are being attacked. And of course never make a broad generalization about the black Americans.Facts matter but not for some BLM apologists.

Jon Dozer

"When they are caught doing bad things they are prosecuted just as a regular citizen." Todd

Your first few sentences sounded reasonable Todd. Then that BS of a gem you wrote above- which is absolutely NOT true. No one is tainting the whole country (police forces). But until you right wingers get real about the decades-old pattern of those bad 1% of police vs. innocent black civilians, we won't get anywhere in solving the problems we now face. Of course get rid of the few bad ones...slight problem though- WE DON'T. DA's do not generally prosecute bad cops. That's a fact.

Don Bessee

The DA in Baton Rouge has said the shooting may be legal, even though the cameras were knocked off, the body cams were operating during the fight and they have the full audio of the incident. So we have a felon with a gun who was reportedly brandishing said gun in the 911 call that brought the police there. Then he fights and the store owner who shot the video standing mere feet away saw a gun. Is this another Ferguson were the facts don't match the BLM propaganda? Hands up don't shoot indeed.

So folks - you see what a left-wing troll is?
He spouts hate-based giberish in order to provoke more murderous activity.
When I asked for facts, he can't come up with a single one. Not one.
Then he claims he wants something and when I try to go out of my way to comply, he runs away.
He claims to be 'open minded' but won't meet with me because I have different ideas than he does.
What a sad little sack of cells he is. He calls folks he doesn't like 'racist' and yet he is the only one on this blog to regularly call folks names with insults based on age, skin color, ethnic origin and gender.

Todd Juvinall

"jon" is truly a hater and a troll. Never reasonable always snarky. Thank goodness he is a mental invalid.

Account Deleted

Oh, now that's just great.
"DA's do not generally prosecute bad cops. That's a fact."
Yes it is - we agree! When the white CHP officer raped and murdered a white woman, the local DA deliberately presented a case so messed up, the jurrors came out crying and apologizing to the parents of the young lady. They wanted to convict, but the DA wouldn't give them the chance. Later, there was a fed trial and the bastard was convicted in 5 minutes. He should have been strung up by his neck and danced for the crowd but he got off with a much more lenient sentence and is probably out of prison by now.
Just north of where I live, a white rancher was called out to put down his bull that had been injured on the road and the local sheriff gunned him down. It's been over a year and the DA and the feds and the state just can't even come up with an autopsy.
At Ruby Ridge, an FBI sharpshooter shot to death an unarmed white woman holding her child. The agent in charge lied about the event (proven) and was punished by being promoted to a higher paying job.
I can go on and on. But the blacks just keep killing each other and the left goads them into insane violence against absolutely innocent cops.
Funny how the white folks never started just openly gunning down cops because 'White Lives Matter'.
Get your ears and eyes opened folks. It's not black against white. That's a BS argument the left loves to stir up while never providing any facts about the events they bring up.

Jon Dozer

no, actually the black vs. white thing is not. But am glad we agree on the bigger statistic. No doubt white on white happens as well, but nothing like white on black. Everyone knows that in Minnesota the other night, if that man was a clean shaven white guy wearing a polo shirt he wouldn't have had his arm blown off his body, with a 4 year old child in the backseat watching the massacre. The Governor there knows it, and he's never been a friend of the BLM movement, quite the opposite.

Jon Dozer

"The DA in Baton Rouge has said the shooting may be legal" Don Bessee

Oooh, so we must go with what the DA of Baton Rouge says. LOL. And that's exactly the problem in Baton Rouge. For decades, according to the residents. Fortunately the Feds have taken over the investigation and your favorite DA in Baton Rouge ultimately won't have much of a say. You saw the video, the poor man was murdered in cold blood. All the BS in the world is not going to change the reality Don.

Don Bessee

The audio and the store owner are telling the story the 'jon' and yes it might be a legal shooting. 'Poor man' who was a felon with a gun who had threatened someone with it and fought the cops. Lets not forget Holders grandstanding in the hands up don't shoot that never happened. Remember the video of that poor little kid (6-3 300lbs) in Ferguson attacking the store owner minutes before the police encounter? They quietly ended up acknowledging it was a clean shooting. Attack a cop and you are betting your life you are going to win.
You are the expert on BS the 'jon', time to flush yours. ;-)

Jon Dozer

Hey Don and Scott,
How'd you like to be a poor black American citizen watching cops murder poor black Americans every few months on your video feed? Try explaining that to your children. Think they will grow up to salute the flag and respect authority? Or will the forces of human nature suddenly stop.

I don't hear a whole lot of compassion out of the "conservative" god fearing Americans, save Newt Gingrich. And I don't hear a whole lot of poor black folks chanting USA USA USA. I cannot blame them.

Oh - so if there's no video - no problem.
You still haven't provided one bit of evidence about all of your claims, troll.
Murders of cops up 44% over last year.
Keep it coming, hate-monger. I'm sure you can goad the crazies to up the ante.

Don Bessee

Have you ever wondered what its like for the black kids in Chicago watching black on black murders live on their streets? Care to compare the number of black people murdered in the Dem. paradise of Chicago this year to the number shot by cops in the US? Didn't think so.

Todd Juvinall

Hey "jon" did you have a mommy and a daddy? Well 72% of these black kids are born to single mothers. Many young teens. What is the reason fo that in your opinion? Do you think these young black men have issues with not having a dad? Come on now "jon" give us all your best explanations.

Don Bessee

Someone posted a link on Todds blog to a moveon.org petition calling on Reinette Senum to resign the city council.

This might help! ;-)

Gregory

"Dozer" what do you think about the statistic that a black man encountering a policeman is 18 times more likely to die from the experience than the cop is.

Sound about right to you?

It's the other way around, which may explain to you why cops get cranky when they traffic stop a black male.

C'mon, jonnie boy - where's the invite to your little left wing soiree? You know. The one where everyone is inclusive and open-minded. Except for anyone who disagrees with you or asks embarrassing questions about you providing proof for your hate-based BS.
How would you like to be the son of a white cop and watch 'folks-who-look-like-our-president' dance around gleefully over the dead body of your father?
And be told it's his fault because he's white?
Say - I know! Why doesn't jonnie boy hie his bad self down to Oakland or some such and hang with the bros?
Go along, jonnie. Since you cowardly ducked out of our meeting that you claimed you wanted, why not go offer yourself to the wretched victims of white brutality?
No? Still up in anglo-heaven Nevada County?
Wringing your lily white hands, I'm sure.
Still waiting for facts about your ongoing BS, jonnie boy. All of us are still waiting.

Just visited Jeff Pelline's blog. Yes, I do like that same picture of the alpine lake and lupines. No, I did not try to login in. Just checking if the man with his ear to the ground covering all things Nevada City, CA had anything to say or insight about what the former mayor of Nevada City, CA and current city councilwoman of Nevada City, CA posted on her FB page from Nevada City, CA. She did paint police officers with a very very broad brush calling the culprits America's Policeforce. Hmm. Yep, 5 cops dead (one was a transit officer), six wounded (one of which was a civilian). It's their just desserts! That is where you place the blame, where you find the responsible party....the guilty ones. Ok, fair enough, the chicken have come home to roost and blah, blah, blah.

Not a word about her FB post on the Pelline blog. No mention. No "atta" girl, no "bad girl", no she was tired or her blood sugar was low or she was right arm right on. Just crickets. Odd. Did Jeff get scooped by the NC Scooper? Nah, nobody reads the NC Scooper, right?

There was also further down a brief article about the new city councilpeoples with two nice photographs of the happy swearing in event. In both pictures, the person in question was clearly holding a binder covering her crouch. Two out of two photos. Wonder if she was leaking. After reading her post on NC Scooper, perhaps the councilwoman should take the blue binder and cover her face. Nobody looks at her crouch anyway....its been many moons since someone was even curious about that area, which, sad to sad, may be her best part. Cover your face, please. What will the millennials think? We mustn't scare them away. I never make it to Nevada City so she won't be missing my wad of greenies one bit. How's that cashless Nevada City, CA barter system working out? I hope that isn't the infamous worm farm lady, but that is none of my business..
