Where, oh where have all the liberals gone?  RR readers notice the recent absence of the Left from these comment streams, and they themselves are to blame.  Our leftwing neighbors do realize that RR has been and continues as the most welcoming and open opinion forum in these parts.  But every time they come to disseminate the best that their progressive side has to offer, it is quickly reduced to such a rubble (to capitalize on the term of art du jour) that they are left without a reasonable leg to underpin them.  And since both sides here are in the business of addressing the independent, the undeclared, the mid-roaders, they see the flaying of their ideas and arguments as a definite liability overall, and especially amplified in the weeks running up to the election.  Were their assessment otherwise – i.e. that their countered arguments had staying power – they would double down knowing in their heart that the intended audience would see through the weakness of the Right.  And the more such a dialogue could be continued, the better.  But, sadly for them, that is not the case.

In the meantime, can an elected candidate, supported by the Secret Service on the way to their gala swearing in ceremony overlooking Washington's impressive mall, be impeached for lying to the voters about their ability to discharge the duties of their just assumed office?

Now the immediate question remains. Can the Trump campaign get the Deplorables comment back to front and center where it rightfully belongs, or is it going to be Hillary's health 24/7 for the next two weeks? From what I gather, the press wants more and more health questions answered. Strike that. The press is seeking......drumroll please.....transparency from the Clinton Machine.....the Clintons themselves! Good luck. Incomplete half-of-the-story replies is all they will ever get from that woman, Ms. Clinton.

The more lingering question is this the year Karma comes calling? Being obsessively secretive has served the Clintons well. Well because they won when the dust settled each and every time. This time lack of transparency may serve them ill. Even the press ain't buying her "Feeling great, beautiful day in New York" comment in front of Chelsea's pad if she really had pneumonia. That be a lie....to the press.

The name of the person, who was also the person allegedly photographed having a diazepam (valium) pen available to inject Hillary. It is hard to tell, but he looks like one of the people helping Hillary to the van after the 9/11 event.

Eight days after Board-certified medicine specialist and TV personality Dr. Drew Pinsky expressed his grave concern over Hillary Clinton’s health and the healthcare she was receiving, his popular show on HLN, the sister channel of CNN, was cancelled.

Appearing on KABC’s McIntyre in the Morning, Pinsky said he and his colleague Dr. Robert Huizenga became “gravely concerned……not just about her health but her health care” after analyzing what medical records on Hillary had been released.

Pinsky pointed out that after Clinton fainted and fell in late 2012, she suffered from a “transverse sinus thrombosis,” an “exceedingly rare clot” that “virtually guarantees somebody has something wrong with their coagulation system.”

According to sources close to Pinsky, the medicine specialist had been asked to retract his statements on the democratic nominee’s health and also received a series of nasty phone calls and e-mails over the his comments.
“CNN is so supportive of Clinton, network honchos acted like the Mafia when confronting Drew,” a source told Richard Johnson of Page Six. “First, they demanded he retract his comments, but he wouldn’t.”

What followed, according to a source close to Pinsky, was a series of nasty phone calls and e-mails which were described as “downright scary and creepy.”

The fact that Dr. Pinsky was asked to retract his comments, and even received “scary” calls and emails over what he said, can lead one to believe that it was indeed his concern for Clinton’s health that lead to his show being cancelled.

It just gets more amazing. Apparently Hillary just wanted some 'privacy' and her 'campaign' lied about her health.
The McClatchy news service here ran on the front page that "Illness, deception common throughout presidential history".
So the right-wing nut cases are KKKrazy about her health until it turns out that they were merely pointing out the truth and Hillary was caught once again, again, again lying through her teeth and she does have a health issue that she lied about, except it was really just her 'campaign' that lied. And she just wanted some privacy. And those wing nuts made her do it, except she didn't - it was her 'campaign'.
No wonder the lefties won't show their faces here anymore.
The MO of the left is now so pat and predictable.
First - deny what the truth is and brand the folks that point out the truth as nut cases (or worse).
Then - when the truth becomes so obvious that even fellow travelers start to question the party line,
just start equivocating and shrug it off by stating that 'everybody' does it.

Sources: Tens of Thousands of Files from Clinton, Blumenthal Computers Available on Deep Web

PJ Media has learned from multiple sources that the House and Senate Intelligence Committees may have access to the contents of an Eastern European computer, potentially Russian, and that hackers may have exfiltrated Hillary Clinton's and Sidney Blumenthal's unsecured files by first hacking Marcel Lazar Lehel aka Guccifer.

One or more American whistleblowers recently informed the Intelligence Committees that the files taken by the unknown hackers are available at specific locations in the Deep Web.

A congressional source who is familiar with the information says these documents are being called for now "the Russian files." Getting them did not involve hacking Russians or anyone else, but rather locating the images that the files left behind while the unknown hackers moved them through the Deep Web. When Clinton associates thought they were deleting her files, they may not have realized that files leave images even in the Deep Web when moved by hackers.

A preliminary review of the files indicated that they contain unclassified as well as potentially classified information, including one document relating to Benghazi that probably should have been highly classified and comes from one of Hillary Clinton's private computers.

Congress has learned that the FBI knew about the foreign exfiltration of that document from Clinton's server weeks before Director James Comey announced his decision not to recommend prosecution of Hillary Clinton for her use of private email. Comey testified to Congress that Guccifer denied hacking Clinton and that Clinton was "probably" hacked, but did not allude to having received any information that she was hacked.

"With respect to potential computer intrusion by hostile actors, we did not find direct evidence that Secretary Clinton's personal e-mail domain in its various configuration since 2009 was hacked successfully. But given the nature of the system and of the actors potentially involved, we assess we would be unlikely to see such direct evidence," said Comey.

A congressional source who has met with a whistleblower commented that "even a Hillary supporter should want the public to know what foreigners took from her private servers, especially if it is damaging to her. Otherwise the candidate could be blackmailed by a foreign power."

I drove to Palo Alto one day in '95 or '96 to attend a public meeting he organized where both whole language promoters and detractors, and whole math promoters and detractors, when he and some fellow parent types in Palo Alto who were aghast at the collapse of math achievement in their local schools after Phil Daro Math v1.0 was unleashed in California's schools. Evers was also a primary mover and shaker in Honest, Open Logical Debate (HOLD) that was the first parents group opposing the whole math and language (Constructivist) education "reformers".

Let me repeat an old factoid... the President of the NCTM at the time (a CSU math education prof named Jack Price) often repeated that white girls and minority girls and boys learned math best by discovery methods, and only white boys with high socioeconomic status parents learned math best by those bad old "practice makes perfect" traditional practices. In a pig's eye, unless you discount the experiences in the far flung Asian nations who have produced such curricula as Singapore Math. Asians of both genders have shown real competence after solid, traditional math educations.

First, I am not a medical expert by any stretch of the imagination. If Hillary has pneumonia like I did the last time, one brief campaign appearance every other day is more than enough. In fact, it may be heroic. She, like me, coughed a dry cough for way too long before getting on antibiotics. When I finally did seek professional help, I had already "fainted" a few times, once awaking on the office floor after hours not knowing how long I had been laying there. Faint is the polite way of saying "collasped, passed out, blacked out, took a nose dive". Complete rest was an easy order to follow since even the thought of getting up to use the jon was a long battle within myself that seemed like it required more energy than I had. Too little oxygen getting to the brain. Any overdoing it leads to relapse. A week down and out if you jump on it....3 weeks or more of feeling like a soggy pretzel before getting back to even close to 100% if you put off getting on antibiotics like I did. And pneumonia leaves scar tissue.

Whether Hillary really has pneumonia or not, I cannot say. She collasped on 9/11/2016. Probably was not even thinking about the 4 Ameticans she did NOT give the Defense Department the green light to get our boys out of Benghazi on another 9/11. But, prior to the 11th day of September, Hillary was off the campaign 16 out of the 31 days in August of 2016. Unheard off in this day and age. 90 or so days to go and she was out of action for 16 of the 31 days in August. Talk about a bad time to lose your Mo-Jo.

Now, my real point. Pneumonia or not, serious underlying health issues or not, I propose that she is suffering from the effects of stress. Stress, anxiety, a unresolved guilty conscious, whatever you call it....stress will pop up in one's physicall body in numerous ways with severe consequences. Heart disease, circulation, bones, muscle tissue, organs, too many ways to list. Years of lying, hiding, stuffing, and hoping your deepest darkest secrets never come out into the light will lead to premature death and a miserable existence with poor health. Plus, she is 68 and is not some Spring Chicken.

Imagine the horrid worry she must suffer through wondering when the other shoe(s) will drop via Wikileaks. Since she has a vague idea what the leaks may contain, she is scared shitless. She looks frightened when she scans the tiny crowds she is addressing lately when she scans to her right. She looks drained taking to reporters on the plane or in front of her plane. Monday she addressed a crowd of 200 (not the reported 300) at Temple, a university of 26,000 undergrad students situated in a urban setting! 200? That was her only appearance scheduled and apparently it was enough to have a picture taken of her being helped up a stair. I zoomed into the faces of those surrounding her and all eyes where looking down and Huma showed concern/stress on her face as well. Geeze, it's not like it was several stairs to climb, but all eyes were looking at Hillary's feet.

Just a theory, but stress will knock your wheels out from under you, mess up your ticker, and clog your plumbing. Mess with your thinking and emotions as well. If you are out of whack in any one of three parts (spiritually, emotionally, physically), it will always show up in the other two. Not the most opportune time for the chickens coming home to roost. Nate Silver has it 55.7%/44.3%, and Clinton only 9 electors over what she'd need. If all the states go as Silver expects but with Colorado turning Trump (it's 60/40 odds now), Trump would win.

1) Hillary should/will carry the lion's share of the minority vote as any D would. She may even get the normal high percentages of the black vote, but it will be a smaller pie she draws from. Millennials do not like her, and that includes minorities. Not inspired, not enthusiastic. She ain't Obama. Also, the group least likely to register and vote are Hispanics for some reason. So, less total votes from the Obama/Dem coalition.

2) Women. Hillary's pre-primary strategy as well as convential wisdom at the time was Hillary will be carried by the women's vote, her largest block of support. The difference maker. Except for the seasoned citizen women voters who want to see a woman as Prez before they die, her "women" vote is not as large as as once assumed. She cannot fill a room. 2/3 of those old white angry males that attend Trump's rallies are in reality women. Yep, 2/3 of folks at Trump's rallies are women per several outside press observations from several different rallies. One put a rally at 70% women.

3). Bill Clinton, Hillary's campaign, and Legacy: People liked Bill Clinton. Loved in many quarters. Hillary has not endeared herself to the voter as only Bill could. The Bubba Machine was staffed by rabid Bill Clinton loyalists. James Carville Is one of hundreds that come to mind. Everybody on Bubba's team where all in for Bill. When Hillary enlisted the same seasoned veteran players for her campaign in 2008, it became immediately clear that the "Clintonestas" were loyal to Bill, not his wife. Yes, she has Podesta running things, but that is the exception, not the rule. And Podesta is no Leon Panetta.
The main thing about Bill Clinton is it reminds people of yesterday, not 2016. The scandals have taken their toll in the back of the voters' minds. Who wants years of more investigations in the Clinton Foundation, years of Wikileaks surprises, and the prospect of BOTH presidents named Clinton impeached? It is a possibility with the Hillary's Clinton lust for power, prestige, riches, more riches, and mind numbing flagrant Clinton recklessness. The merging of Bill's post presidency image of a high rolling jet setting playboy making questionable deals from questionable players and receiving questionable money coupled with Hillary's unbridled greed doing what Bill has been doing may have greatly tarnished the Clinton image in the voter's mind. The ultimate insider. A night in the Lincoln Bedroom is for sell if the price is right.
Hillary is still in the lead, but it has not been the cakewalk it would be as once written in stone. People do not like her. She has not demonstrated leadership skills when put in leadership positions. She offers no change in a year folks thirst for change.

Trump did a call in to a radio show I was listening to yesterday. He said Matt was tough but fair, and Trump did mention that he personally thought he got more hardball questions than Hillary, but Matt did a good job. He was defending the guy and repulsed by the injustice of it all. Matt was not partisan enough.

Come to find out, the call in was a maybe. The Trump campaign said we will try to squeeze him in, no guarantees on short notice. Trump called the next day. He was 8 minutes before Showtime at a rally but called the radio show for those 8 minutes, said goodbye and then walked out into the arena. A secret service guy later e-mailed the radio host and said he has never seen anybody do a call-in before an event, ever. The VIPs are always concentrating about the speech to be given, what to say, and deep in thought. Not Trump. Squeezes another one in and walks out to the stage. Good time management.
Hillary will look vibrate at the first debate. Profession make up artists from Hollywood can work miracles. Heck, they can make The Creature from the Black Lagoon look better than Hillary looks on one of her good days. She will be so full of preservatives that you could mistake her for a post and hang a sign on her, IMHO.

With 70% of the arrests in Charolette coming from out of staters brought in on buses, one would think that our Justice Department would dig into this and charge some people and groups with crossing state lines to commit so and so, like they charged the Chicago 7 after the 68' Dem Convention. Charlotte hails one of the most diverse police forces around and, like Dallas, has taken several proactive steps with positive outreaches into the crime infested areas. Too bad.
