[I had no idea that the discussion of Trump’s presidency and its survival could be elevated to the enviable level of an unending ‘Yes he is …’, ‘No he isn’t …’, ‘Yes he is …’, ‘No he isn’t …’, ‘Yes he is …’, ‘No he isn’t …’, ‘Yes he is …’, ‘No he isn’t …’, ‘Yes he is …’, ‘No he isn’t …’, ‘Yes he is …’, ‘No he isn’t …’, ‘Yes he is …’, ‘No he isn’t …’, ‘Yes he is …’, ‘No he isn’t …’, ‘Yes he is …’, ‘No he isn’t …’, without any perceptible loss of interest by the discussants. However, any such forays into new issues are not required, especially for those convinced that other readers are hanging on every clever word in their repartees ;-) gjr]

Gulf war? The bastards had it coming. So Paul, the war in or around 1776 was an "unjust war"? We didn't take any shit from what is now Libya back in 1805 either. Maybe you prefer living under a King's rule.(Mullahs today) Maybe if we waived a white flag back in 1815, would make you a happy guy today.
For a guy who hates war, your here living off the spoils of it. That's reality Paul.

"Newsom, the state's lieutenant governor, wrote that he felt a “chill down my spine” when he watched the video.
He said while he and the NRA have long disagreed, the video crosses the line of appropriate political debate. He described it as "dangerous" because it tells viewers “that our fellow Americans are to be feared … and even worse.”

A perfect example of the soft civil war that is going on. Team Blue largely owns the media, and most of the media is an oligopoly depending on the transport mechanism. A combination of universal surveillance with realtime feedback on 'news' sites allows people to be programmed in practically any way you want. Gin up a 'Russia' controversy and bango, the useful idiots spew forth their wisdom. Just follow the money.
As an obscure German said, "What is truth? For the multitude, that which it continually reads and hears."

Dong alert at Fox !!!!!
And to think this man was one of the reporter for Fox when Weiner man emailed his dong shots.
"Eric Bolling, a longtime Fox News host, sent an unsolicited photo of male genitalia via text message to at least two colleagues at Fox Business and one colleague at Fox News, a dozen sources told HuffPost.
Recipients of the photo confirmed its contents to HuffPost, which is not revealing their identities. The women, who are Bolling’s current and former Fox colleagues, concluded the message was from him because they recognized his number from previous work-related and informal interactions. The messages were sent several years ago, on separate occasions.
When asked whether Bolling at any point had sent unsolicited lewd or inappropriate text messages or emails (including an image of a man’s genitalia) to Fox News or Fox Business colleagues, his attorney Michael J. Bowe responded, “Mr. Bolling recalls no such inappropriate communications, does not believe he sent any such communications, and will vigorously pursue his legal remedies for any false and defamatory accusations that are made.”

Both men acted criminally violating laws that were in force then and now. It's interesting to note that the Left's hero Ellsberg also supports Wikileaks, Chelsea Manning, and Edward Snowden.

Todd, the average SAT nowadays for 'Frisco State is 1050, a little below the average for people who end up with 4 year degrees. Assuming little Stevie Frisch had an 1050 in his day, that might indicate he's a dead average 105 IQ as, back in those days, MENSA accepted a 1250 SAT for its required 125 IQ. They do not accept any score from the current test which, although it is still normalized to match the IQ curve, the newer tests no longer have a good correlation to an innate reasoning ability. It's now an Achievement test, not an Aptitude test.
Todd, I do think Steve is a tad smarter than you are. But you have chosen better in a number of life's aspects, like not being arrested for DUI or 'borrowing' a quarter of a million bucks from the State and Feds without their consent.

PaulE 1032pm - You're confusing Nixon with Johnson's "secret illegal war". Remember it was Nixon who ran on the promise to extract us from Vietnam, which he did by 1973. Ellsberg ratted on what was set up before Nixon. Our Associate FBI Director Mark Felt was the sleaze bag who didn't have the courage to put out the evidence against Nixon, and instead disguised himself as Deep Throat to bring Nixon down through the press. That is not the way our federal investigative agencies are supposed to work if they have evidence of politicians' wrong doings.
But if you like what Ellsberg and Felt did, then you must doubly like what Wikileaks and their sources did to the Dems since that exposed wrong doings without violating any oaths or institutional trusts. And even more so what Team Trump subsequently did with the publicly revealed evidence.

Posted by: Don Bessee | 05 August 2017 at 10:49 PM
Patriot or traitor? Whistleblower or leaker? The lines are drawn.
"Then George how are we the people going to know when outr elected leaders are breaking the law?"
Well, thank goodness for Right Wing sites that let us know. The election of 2016 and its aftermath has laid bare one thing for all the world to see. The major collusion was not the DNC stacking the deck against Bernie Sanders. It was not the Trump and Putin holding hands narrative. Nah, that is small potatoes in comparison.
The real nonfiction story I reference is the MSM working hand in hand 100% with the Establishment Left, the bureaucracy that runs our government, and the "deep state" to control the narrative and masses. I unabashedly declare that the MSM is in collusion with the powers to be that control and run our government, no matter what the will of the people is. MSM is nothing more than Pravda. The Department of Misinformation and purposely designed to be such. The warty tool.
So, George, how are people going to know when our elected (and appointed) officials are breaking the law? Good question. The answer will definitely NOT be coming from the 4th Estate in its present form.
The stage is being set right now. Charles Krauthammer had been warning about this lately. The damage to our nation, our Constitution Republic, may be take decades to repair. Michael Savage is not far off base here.
https://www.infowars.com/savage-civil-war-if-trump-taken-down/
Granted, if Trump committed a crime, I am all ears. But, the only thing Punchy the unknowing and unwitting (yet enthusiastic) accomplice for the Establishment offers is a conspiracy in search of a crime. Trump is a traitor! Wikileaks released stolen files! Hacked, stolen, and Immoral! An attack against the United States! Or, "We are at war", declared Sen. McCain, the guy with the brain tumor. Yes, we are at war, but not against foreign governments as such.
Hero or zero? Greater good? Is Bradly Manning a good guy or should be executed by a military firing squad? Not always black and white, yes or no. But the question remains. How can we the people know about the corrupt going ons of elected and appointed former administration officials and their cronies when our Media Establishment ignores, squelches, squashes, turns a blind eye, and sits on stories that they deem damaging to their true agenda?
Welcome to Pravda, made in America. Our only hope is sources outside the control of Fakesnews Agenda.

Disclaimer: to me, Alex Jones is a mixed bag. Akin to Glen Beck. Spot on on some things with piercing deep insights, and off base on other things. Alex Jones lost me on Sandy Hook being fake. Ironically he was reading from the same script I heard on KVMR. Be that as it may, I will continue with this news:
https://www.infowars.com/australia-bans-jewish-synagogue-citing-terrorist-risk-to-general-public/
The tactics are becoming clear. Whether banning the construction of a synagogue in Australia due to security concerns, barring speakers on college campus due to security concerns, or labeling an Islamic terrorist in Europe an "Asian" due to security concerns, the movement is global and effective. Disguised as fighting against "hate speech" or disguised as "security concerns" for what MIGHT be a security concern to those who in reality oppose contrary r minority views, the march towards tyranny continues on...in democracies across the globe. They are not even trying to conceal it anymore.

Meh. Both sides of the aisle have plenty of lecherous fools.
This whole business of tarring a political party or philosophy because some semi-prominent member picked up a prostitute or sent junk mail is pretty boring. The kind of hand wringing that goes on with sex scandals hopefully will die off over time. Just imagine a JFK, LBJ, or even Bill Clinton with the total surveillance of both government and individual cell phones now available.
The real danger in all of this is now that the 17 intelligence agencies are making a play for more control of the rudder, just imagine what they have on absolutely everybody. That is a serious business and I don't see it getting better.

But you would not recognize real men, would you? The metrosexual males like you are so PC you can't even stand up against something wrong like this. Oh well, at least I can see my feet.

Scenes @ 7:11 am.
Wow. Stop the pressses! I had to read it twice to see if your links were from The Onion. Another nail in the coffin.
"Having so many students start their freshman year being told that they are already behind and giving them just one year to dig themselves out also doesn't help foster a sense of social or academic belonging, officials said."
DARN IT SCENES. I can't even come up with a snide remark. This one leaves me both speechless and speech less. A silver lining for the reader.

Shitheel? I had to look that one up... is that racist slur something you learned in Chicago, growing up (or at least pretending to grow up)?

No, in this sandbox thread the issue was your hypocrisy.
Personally, I think it's wrong to send pictures of genitalia to any associates at one's place of work. It's also arguably wrong to make such charges years after the event.

Frisch used a racist term! Wow! Do as I say, not as I do. What poopfoot.

In a related story to Scene's 7:11 am, "No Dummy Left Behind":
National Review’s Robert VerBruggen explains, “It would end the diversity lottery and preferences for family members aside from spouses, minor children, and elderly parents in need of care. And it would put those seeking green cards on the basis of employment — 140,000 of which would be available annually, the same number as today — through a new point system similar to those used in other developed countries.” That point system would evaluate “their level of education, their English fluency, their age (with ten points for those 26 to 30 and zero points for those 50 and up), and the salary they’ve been offered.” The one downside is that it deliberately reduces the number of immigrants, which is odd if we’d be getting more desirable immigrants.
"It’s probably fair to say the repeal and replacement of ObamaCare had a better chance of passing than does the RAISE Act. "

Scenes again, @ 6:12 am.
Scenes, you are killing it. The early bird gets the worm.
Nice way of putting it. Seeing the forest from the bark beetle infested teee. No, not the "Pentegon Papers" that shows Punchy's complete and utter ignorance on which he speaks (@ 5:29 am), nor the shocking issue of powerful men texting pictures of what's behind the fig leaf (@ 6:12 AM), but your putting it all into perspective in the grand scheme of things.
"The real danger in all of this is now that the 17 intelligence agencies are making a play for more control of the rudder, just imagine what they have on absolutely everybody. That is a serious business and I don't see it getting better."

Walt @ 9:01 am:
Dunno. Think this is where he goes back to the unassailable fact that the Rooskies cheered the election results in a building they knew full well was bugged, proof certain that Putin's boys and his hot hotv lady spies interfered successfully with our election and results. Nothing to do with that silly rumor floating around about the Democrat Party's favored candidate being under two criminal investigations, yet still made the decision to run for President of these here United States anyway. :). It fits the narrative perfectly and explains everything you need to know why the liberals lost.
Why, why, why did the Russians cheer?

Well, another he said, she said type of thing. I do not want to cast judgement on either the accused nor the accuser at this preminilary time. Let the chips fall where they may.

BillT the babe also accused Bill Oreilly. So my guess is she is a slut and has little self-control. She came onto them and set them up for her own jollies and probably for Nancy Pelosi and Blabbermouth.

Screw you Gregory. Get a sense of humor.
Posted by: Todd Juvinall | 06 August 2017 at 10:26 AM
Todd, it wasn't funny.
Posted by: Gregory | 06 August 2017 at 10:42 AM
Todd: Let's just see how this plays out. Doubt it will ever see a court of law, so we will never know. Settlements usually have "no do speak of such matters" clauses. Yes, she accused Bill O'Reily just a couple hours before he got dismissed, not the days and weeks of rumors, accusations, and innuendos leading up to O'Reily's dismissal. That looks bad, but looks bad only at first glance.
If Eric B pulled an Anthony Weiner, one who think there is evidence. If it happened several ago, then it might be her words against his without the smoking gun, pun intended. Neither of us know for sure at this moment in time.
She is an attractive women, the look that Fox News perfers to hire. If the glove don't fit, one must acquit. Or, be found guilty in the court of public opinion.
The story is not all that big in my opinion. Politically motivated? Who knows. Did it happen? Who knows. Could it have happened? You bet. The last thing we want to do is excoriate Eric or the accuser(s) at this moment in time. All men and women have feet of clay.
Let's not pull a Punchy and connect random dots to a false conclusion. Why did the Russians cheer Trump's stunning upset win? Why did the Russians cheer Hillary's loss? Why, why, why? It's proof! No, we wait and see. If the good professor is a slut, that still has little bearing on unwanted (unwelcome) sexual advances/ dirty pictures she may or may not encountered at Fox. Apples and oranges.
As Gregory used to say, correlation does not mean causation. I do understand knee jerk responses and can sympathize with them.....a thing that I have been certainly guilty of. "Liberals are stupid!" for example.
Or, as Milo said, SJWs push for free birth control because it gives them an excuse to be sluts. He is a funny guy, but not everyone appreciates his quips.
My definitions of a ho or slut is simple: Anybody that wants to do it again when I don't, or anybody that wants it more than I do. Take your pick. :).

Gregory, it was funny and sorry you are lacking a sense of humor or irony. Using the tactics of the opposition to mock them is above your pay grade I guess. And you attacked me personally so I assume then you are fair game. You need to realize who is on your side. If you don't then I am sad for you.

I watched and listened to her a few times when she was on. She came across as a man hating feminist. She is attractive and my guess is she was a plant by the feminists to take out those guys. Pretty shrewd. Anyway, Bolling and O'Reilly are too powerful to let alone to the left. You watch and see all the BS tossed at them and FOX. It is the new strategy.
Posted by: Todd Juvinall | 06 August 2017 at 12:18 PM
Could be, Todd. They are after everything to the right of Maxine Waters, and is part of an overall tactic to achieve a goal: Fox must go. Drudge must go. Like buttons on FB must go if the link is tied to conservatives....especially pro-lifers. Bubba whined about Fox, then Obama started in during his first month in office and then got more jabs in as he was leaving for a better paying gig. Well, at least Fox took the heat off of Limbaugh.
Guess I did not grasp you were being facetious. Strike that. I did not grasp you were being facetious. Better. No worries.

My view is we have to stick together on the right. The left is winning when we attack our side. Funny or not.

Todd, making crap up about people like that is so very not cool. That person never did anything to you, slandering them with or without a nudge, nudge or some sort of emoji does not help you get back at your nemeses. It does not make you even.
"My view is we have to stick together on the right"

Shocking. Alarming. Toxic waste sites on our public lands in CA. Yep, I read that article twice and my blood began to boil. I copied it and just when I went to post it around noon, I saw you beat me to it.
This unbiased link should alarm and upset all readers, no matter what side of the political aisle you are on, no matter where you fit across the entire socio-economic system, no matter what your background is.
For those who missed Walt's link, take a peek. Opening paragraph:
"Pollution from illegal marijuana farms deep in California's national forests is far worse than previously thought, and has turned thousands of acres into waste dumps so toxic that simply touching plants has landed law enforcement officers in the hospital."

My my. Being a community organizer pays more than I thought. Screw the victims, give me the green!
"Instead, $3 billion of the multi-billion-dollar 2013 agreements with Citigroup and Bank of America to settle cases related to mortgage-backed securities went to community-organizing groups.
The $17 billion Bank of America deal gave the bank “extra credit” if it donated $100 million or more to activist groups approved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The list included UnidosUS, which advocates for illegal immigrants; the National Community Reinvestment Coalition, a left-leaning housing lobbyist group; Operation Hope, which pushes banks to lend to unqualified mortgage applicants in Los Angeles; and the Mutual Housing Association of New York, a spinoff of the controversial community-organizing group ACORN."
