Yet he is still our functioning POTUS - and does a far better job than anything else the Dems or Socialists or Libertarians could offer.

I held my nose and watched a bit od Don Lemon's show on CNN last night. I like to hear what the left is spewing sometimes. And they did not disappoint. All those elected officials in Puerto Rico saying what a good job and just the one babe mayor in the bad mood. All the criticism of Trump all the time based on the one babe mayor. Had to turn the channel. Bit it cements why CNN is called fake news. And why Americans don't trust them.

Facebook has been busted for grossly inflating its advertising reach. FB claims it touches 41 mil. American 18-24 year olds but census data says there are 31 mil in that age group in the US. FB further claims that they reach 60 mil. 25-34 year old Americans but census data pegs that cohort at 35 mil. Would Zuckerberg, the lefty prince of FB lie to us? Here is something some of you might want to consider, a company that helps conservative Californians relocate. http://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-us-canada-41434644/the-firm-helping-republicans-relocate-to-red-states
While more folks are leaving CA for Texas than from Texas to CA, recent studies suggest the money seems to be moving in the opposite direction. Those most likely to move to Texas tend to be in the lower income brackets looking for lower taxes and more employment opportunities. Those moving to CA from Texas tend to be the more affluent looking for a better quality of life.
Posted by: Robert Cross | 05 October 2017 at 05:53 PM
Lower income brackets? What a load of crap Cross, I know millionaires who have left the state.
It's those who can afford to, that are leaving.

Not great news for LIBS.
"Time Magazine spoke with survivors of Sunday’s shooting that believe gun control won’t prevent tragedies like Las Vegas from happening in the future. One such couple, Toby and Kelsey Clark, said they both continue believing in Second Amendment protections.
“He bought his firearms legally but he modified them illegally,” Toby told Time. “I believe in tight gun laws but I also believe in the Second Amendment.” His wife Kelsey agreed, saying that more gun laws wouldn’t have stopped the shooting." "

Robert Cross@5:53 PM Could you please provides a reference for the study showing that wealthy people are moving to CA for the quality of life from where? Texas? Why would people with money move to a state with high taxes?
Some so-called progressives hail these trends, as forcing what they seem to see as less desirable elements — that is, working- and middle-class people — out of the state. They allege that this is balanced out by a surge of highly educated workers coming to California. Essentially, the model is that of a gated community, with a convenient servant base nearby.
Yet, in reality, this may prove to be wishful thinking. A dive into Internal Revenue Service data shows distinctly that, while poor people are, indeed, leaving, the largest group of outmigrants tends to be middle-aged people making between $100,000 and $200,000 annually. They may not be ideal algorithm creators for Facebook, but they do constitute the solid middle ranks critical to any healthy economy.
Indeed, since 2010, the Golden State has seen an overall net outflow of $36 billion from these migrants (and that counts only the first year of income). The biggest gainers from this exchange are where Californians are moving, to such places as Texas, Arizona and Nevada. That some California employers are joining them in the same places should be something of a two-minute warning for state officials.

Trump’s ‘P***y’ Tape Is Playing All Day In The Shadow Of A Giant Phallus
"On Friday, visitors to the Washington Monument are being greeted by an unusual sight and sound: a large video screen playing President Donald Trump’s infamous “Access Hollywood” tape, accompanied by statistics about sexual assault. It’s playing for 12 hours, on a continuous loop."

Coming next-Golden Showers staring the Great Orange Hope
it claims that Russia possesses a videotape featuring Trump getting prostitutes to urinate on a bed in a Moscow hotel room in which former President Barack Obama once stayed with first lady Michelle Obama. Now this is toooo much fun. Harvey Weinstein produced nothing but movies glorifying guns and dope and killing (no, I did not take the Kill Bill movies personally). Heck, just about all of the Hollywood psychotic libs made their careers shooting guns and killing people on camera. If not killing, then engaged in some other perversion and debachery. I think they stay in character off hours, unless they are busy spouting their unabashed hypocrisy LECTURING us about the evil 2nd Amendment....from behind gated estates with armed guards to protect them. Detached from reality and easily unhinged.
Let’s look at a 19 second clip of our humanatarian, the kind caring sexual predator, Harvey. It’s all good Harvey. You can blame the NRA for triggering your dark side. It’s the latest thing to do. A perk of being with the in-crowd.
https://youtu.be/NMBZMane0Ts
Now,this is quite a curious find. Politics trumps race, politics trumps gender, politics trumps everything.
“I want to start by thanking Harvey Weinstein for organizing this amazing day,” she said at the beginning of her remarks. “Harvey. This is possible because of Harvey. He is a wonderful human being, a good friend and just a powerhouse.” — Michele Obama.
Don’t know which is worse. Having your daughter intern for Slick Willy, or having her intern for gentle Harvey, a wonderful man.
“Malia Obama, the eldest daughter of Michelle and former president Barack Obama, worked as an intern for Weinstein this year.”

Oh Bunbun, you are asking the wrong question, looking under the wrong skirt. Yes, Trump and the Republicans are bad, horrible, unspeakably incompetent and a bunch of yahoos. No argument here. But, what you should be doing instead of peeking down women’s tops and up their skirts is to come up for air, look around, and ask yourself why do the Republicans control the White House, the Senate, the Congress, the majority of the Statehouses and governorships. Why, why, why???
If the Deplorable Trump and his Irredeemable co-hosts are so awful bad bad bad, why did Hillary capture 487 counties nationwide and that heinous Trump took 2,626 counties nationwide less than a year ago?
The hypothesis that should be poised is “if Trump and the R’s are really all that repulsive, then just how more awful bad bad bad Hillary and the Lefties truly must be. The Democratic Socialists are soooo bad that they got shellacked by someone as vile as stomach bile Trump and his legions of those legally entitled to vote.
How low can the Dems go? Losing to a ogre like Trump is about as low as you can go, Bunbun.

Paul Eeeeee! @ 2:05 pm
This is the Sandbox where various topics that may or may not interest readers are introduced by commentators of Dr. Rebane’s free speech zone blog. Harvey Weinstein is a lifelong hero, mentor, and financial backer to the Democrat Party, in addition to being an esteemed voice for such political party as well as being a decades long serial sexual predator that had been paying young aspiring actresses seeking their first big break large amounts of hush money to keep his fine name from being sullied. “Must not look there, we must not go there!”, cries the control freaks.
I can understand Punchy’s lack of interest and slight irritation. One must have a good name first to care about it being sullied by socially unacceptable behavior. No worries. I was not interested in the least about Golden Shower (Yellow Shower?), but it sure got our fakenews folks’s juices flowing. That kind of sicko stuff really triggers their imagination and gets them all hot and bothered. They can hardly control themselves....not unlike Harvey the wonderful Democrat Party man.

Bingo. It’s called situational ethics. Lack of integrity. One definition of intergity means ‘wholeness’. Same person at play, at work, at home. No absolutes, right? No absolutes unless, of course, there is a R attached, then it is absolutely deplorable, beyond redemption. I never heard of such talk my entire life!
Too predictable. It got boring a long time ago. Bush lied, people died. And Obama green lighted the BumpStock, but we won’t blame him for that. Looks like just another faux pas by Obama that Trump has to fix, repair, rescind, declare null and void.....you get the idea.

It's also fairly meaningless. He will be President until he either
1) terms out in Jan 2021 or 2025
2) is impeached by the House and removed by the Senate
3) dies or is incapacitated in office
4) resigns
Personally, I expect 1)
And as long as his judicial appointments are more in the mold of Scalia, Gorsuch and Thomas than Kagan, Ginzberg or Sotomayor, the longer Trump is in orifice, the better.

Zero Hedge on WaPo’s story about Russian collusion with Facebook ads
“We imagine that whoever leaked the story probably figured that once readers see the ads and realize they’re indistinguishable from the rest of the political ad copy running on Facebook, voters will quickly lose interest.
However, that didn’t stop one expert from offering some helpful “context” meant to feed the hysteria without saying anything conclusive. As the paper notes, the expert quoted hasn’t even seen the ads.”

I did not vote for her, my New Gal, Ms. Harris. I left the US Senate choice blank on the ballot. Wonder how many Green Libertarians threw their weight behind her? Nice that she had a quiet one on one with Harvey Weinstein when she went fishing for dollars and paraded herself in front of the powers to be on her July weekend fling in The Hamptons. Don’t worry, nothing tawdry happened. Even Harvey has his standards. Harv did leave her a small tip and only gave 11.8k to Kirsten Gillibrand and 5k to Squatting Bull Lizzy Warren. Pocahontas is worth that much in an off year?
The primary is still a long ways out, but Weinstein's money is unwelcome baggage for the many Democrats who benefitted from his contributions over the years. Between Booker, Gillibrand, Harris, and Warren alone, four of the party's most promising potential presidential candidates will face pressure to explain their relationships with Weinstein in the coming days.
Now, does being stupid make one a liberal, or does being a liberal make you stupid?

Pelline is still at it, talking to himself.
BTW, Jeff, the bit about the plane ride and him not being able to fit and the plane being out of legal weight and balance... that wasn't a joke. Sorry!
And yes, your quip about the smart kids going down the hill for a Catholic High School, that really did mean either the kid doesn't live with family up here, or a two or three hour round trip every day.

Krazy Keach, and his cut and paste.(from where???)
Yes Doug,, "O" allowed the bump stock.. none of your so called revisionism will change that.
Maybe Col. Sanders of the Ridge listened to some news chick talking about suppressed automatic weapons. Sorry,, they just don't hold up.
There are plenty of YouTube videos that prove that. (Not that Doug gives a crap about facts.)

BTW Jeff, I didn't say anything the first time you posted those two links, but while the first one was the link to the probable cause of my incident turned accident, the second link was a sad "CFIT" ('controlled flight into terrain') by a professional pilot holding an air transport rating, flying a positioning flight for an air ambulance service. A Beech 200, a serious twin turboprop. Just one of the two propellers probably cost more than my Cherokee was worth.
Several people died and millions of dollars of airplane got destroyed. That wasn't me.
My airplane losing power meant about $25k got lost. I bruised my arm but kept quiet about it. :)

Pence has no respect for the 1st Amendment rights of the football players. I guess free speech only matters when you agree with it like flying the Nazi flag.

Posted by: Don Bessee | 08 October 2017 at 05:25 PM
Was this R.Cross in the police blotter?
5:05 p.m. — A man from the 300 block of Northstar Place reported kids are coloring on the sidewalk with chalk, and he did not want the chalk drawings in front of his building. The 4- to 6-year-old artists and their drawings were located and the man was told that if he does not like children, he should move. No crime was found to have occurred.
Hat's off to the cop.

"Pence has no respect for the 1st Amendment rights of the football players."
Really? You mean the football players on their own time and dime who were protesting?
Or do you mean on their employers time?
It would be fun for left wing idiots like Cross to have their employees start 'enjoying' their 1st A rights while they are supposed to be working. Sure wish I could have done that. But I happen to be the wrong color of skin, so I don't get the same rights.
Funny thing about that.
Meanwhile - from DK: "And he (Donald Trump) has even confessed to criminal abuse in the infamous Access Hollywood videotape.
Wow - sure like to see that video.
Posted by: Account Deleted | 08 October 2017 at 07:02 PM
Upon further thought it strikes me that the left thinks that your 1st amendment rights are that some one in govt has to some how agree or kow tow to your thoughts. If they don't and you are all butt-hurt, you can claim you were violated.
Is that correct, Mr Cross?
Please elucidate if I am wrong, here.

One more bit of hilarity. Remember all of the Dems complaining about "money in politics"? The Dems in California just moved the CA primary up to Super Tuesday.
Everyone knows that means a shed load of money extra no matter what party you are to run for POTUS. The news media in CA are rejoicing. I'm sure the extra jingle in their pockets will help inspire them to write even more op-eds against that ol' debil' money in politics.
