Ooooppsie. Good luck to the House and Senate going forward. They seem to think it's nearly a done deal. But the wolves are circling, frantically, looking for a weak member of the herd to take out
Now... what to say... ?
Hmmm... should I? Why not. Apologies to my fellow ruminators.
You may remember that Jeff, spiraling out of control on his blog scaring people away, recently decided to pick at my resume and checked the bona fides of Loyola Marymount University. Lo and behold, he checked a list of grad schools ... and it didn't appear on it!!! Anywhere!
"Mr. Science concedes that Loyola Marymount is not a top grad school for EE"
Liar, liar, pants on fire.
No, Jeff, that isn't what I wrote, stop making stuff up. I wrote here that "I would not expect LMU to make a list of top grad schools for Electrical Engineering... because it doesn't offer a PhD. Nonetheless, it's a highly ranked regional university ..."
Being a "top school" wasn't on my list of things to check before walking in their door, mainly because there really weren't such lists readily available before the internet I helped drag into place after earning that MSEE.
Sorry I couldn't get a link that put LMU showing #19 at eye level, so you'll just have to see the #1 college on that list tbefore scrolling down.
There were things I needed to learn, and LMU seemed to be a place that could teach me a bunch of what I needed. My wife Teri and I were both pleased.
What we have in "Cartman" is a fellow who will twist anything to tear down the people that don't love and adore him. And given his degrees in Rhetoric and Journalism not exactly being held in high regard, even he, on his own website, only identifies UC Berkeley and Northwestern as the schools that, at one time, let him walk the halls as if he belonged.
Oh, and Jeff, try searching the internet using an engine of your choice with the following term: "engineering calculus" site:berkeley.edu
Please, let us all know what the search returned. LOL!
But Trump is President. Your guy is a pedophile rapist.
Gregory, Pelline is truly losing what little grey matter he ever had. He is talking to himself now and that cannot be a good thing. You don't have to worry about defending yourself as we all know and respect your intelligence and veracity. Pelline is a loon, and it must be caused by his obesity or some other malady we don't know about.
Being a "top school" wasn't on my list of things to check before walking in their door, mainly because there really weren't such lists readily available before the internet I helped drag into place after earning that MSEE.
IIRC LMU was close to where you were working and your employer was picking up the tab. Really is there anything else more that needs be said.
I guess jeffy went to a top school.....can't say for sure because I haven't checked and I don't really care.....what I do know is with all that education he is a terrible writer! Just an embarassingly bad writer.
As an example:
"Seasoned journalists like myself have an instinct called the “smell test.” It’s a term that has been around far longer than the term “fake news.” Like many others, I sniffed out Greg “global warming denier/independent software engineer at my place” Goodnight long ago. Unfortunately, he embodies all too many of the self-professed “experts” in our little community (AKA “small towns are a hoot”). Greg would be a major character in my book “The State of Jefferson.” People like Greg are a real downside to living in our community, undermining its effort to be as respected intellectually as Coastal California, including Silicon Valley. (Barry Pruett, Russ Steele, George Rebane, Todd Juvinall and others, are you listening? I doubt it, because you also belong in this category.) But for the rest of us — the VAST MAJORITY"
jeffy writes like the teenaged girl writing the "Opinion" column for the high school paper because mom fancied herself a feminist and didn't want her daughter taking the Home Economics elective with her idiot girlfriends!
Checking, fish, it was exactly 1.0 miles from the orifice to the classroom. And, comparing notes with Teri who had started a Master's program at CalState Los Angeles that was only a couple miles from our house in Alhambra, she chose to join me at LMU despite it being a 60 mile round trip, and she was working a further 20 miles away to the east.
Another little lie from Pelline is putting me in his thoughtworld, "The State of Jefferson", despite my being a longtime detractor to the SoJ effort. To summarize, yes, the state needs REFORMING, but until a state equivalent to bankruptcy wipes the books clean, a "SoJ" would be saddled with crushing debt. Better to have CalPERS and STRS accounts payable whittled down to what its current funds will support.
They're back to their old tricks, allowing the CalSTRS fund be managed expecting 7% returns until the cows come home or until more cities and counties refuse to pay the shortfalls. It's already happening.
Not my opinion I was just quoting the polll number So according to you fish a probable rapist and sexual predator is 10 points more popular than your guy Trump.
"And here’s more B.S. from Goodnight: “CalState Los Angeles was only a couple miles from our house in Alhambra.” No, Greg, it’s 5 miles. This is typical of Mr. Science"
Get this: Not knowing the address we lived at, Jeff, at his fact checking best, just put in Alhambra as the starting point.
You can't make this shit up!
Putting in the address of the house my father grew up in, where I was living with my wife, it is in fact
(drum roll, please)
2.1 miles away.
Jeff, you really are a f-ing moron, and adrenaline does not make you smarter. Give up, you already have much to explain to St.Peter, assuming you see him someday.
Also Fish, since you brought up polls, the same Gallup poll shows Obama with a favorable polling of 63% compared to Trumps historically low 36%. That's a 27% difference at this time.
Hee hee... I wonder how many of Jeff's advertisers read his blog?
He's now just pretending he's not melting down...
"jeffpelline says:
December 19, 2017 at 7:24 pm
One of the fools on Todd’s blog claims we’re having a “meltdown” over here. Huh? We’re just having a lot of fun. More to come!"
What you mean "we" Pudgy White Man? It's only you at your blog, or haven't you noticed?
And then there's his prior missive, "Oh, and no link (AKA citation) from a scientist, no less. lol."
To give you a link would require me to divulge the address my wife and I lived at. That's a big F U Jeff. Try suing me, and I'll be happy to provide your lawyer the full address when I'm deposed. Expect it to be exactly 2.1 miles from CalState LA, substituting the address for Alhambra in the link you used to deliver your coup de grâce.
Really, Jeff, step back from the computer. Give it a rest. You won't win this one. You truly are a f-ing moron.
Trump is doing fine. The economy is humming, business is expanding unemployment lowest in many years for whites, blacks Hispanics. My goodness, we have it great!
Also Bessee, since you brought up polls, the same Gallup poll shows Obama with a favorable polling of 63% compared to Trumps historically low 36%. That's a 27% difference at this time.
Now Jeff is denying he's been guzzling 2 buck chuck. Can you believe it?
And he is still delusional enough to think I owe him the address we were living at in the late 70's, to prove we were living a couple of miles (2.1mi by google maps) rather than the five miles to the geographic center of Alhambra he used to show how I was lying about the distance from the house to CalStateLA.
Jeff, do you really think your customers won't be reading your words today?
"That's why this is all so hysterical.....that a person with far less "education" than you can so easily see what a talentless hack you are."
-fish on Nevada City Fats
fish, he went to a couple of big name schools. UC Berkeley (they had lower standards in the '70's) where he majored in Rhetoric. Then he earned a Masters in Journalism from Northwestern. Or so he claims, I suspect we won't know for sure unless he posts images of his degrees and his transcripts.
"Talentless hack"? No, I'd say he is a malevolent hack, skilled at misuse of the language of persuasion.
I've also been told by someone who should know that Jeff just can't get enough Chateau Cash Flow... white Zinfandel, in a bottle with the ever popular screw top. A best seller for much the same reasons Coors is still popular in certain populations; it is the wine that goes best with cheeseburgers.
Greg claims he graduated with a bachelor’s’ from Harvey Mudd with a master’s from LMU. Either way, I suspect we won’t know for sure unless he posts images of his degrees and his transcripts."
I know you are, but what am I?
Really, Jeff, although it is true there is more value in my degrees in physics and electrical enginnering... what's the point of claiming degrees you didn't earn in rhetoric and journalism. Oh, but you typically hide the BA Rhetoric, don't you, Jeff?
Goodnight writes: “I’ve also been told by someone who should know that Jeff just can’t get enough Chateau Cash Flow… white Zinfandel, in a bottle with the ever popular screw top.” No Greg, I have never had a bottle of white Zinfandel, let alone a glass. Liar, liar, pants on fire. Best you cut your losses and go to bed. lol.
Oh come off it, Jeff. It's white zin, Muscatel and peppermint schnapps on your table..
Bingo!
Jeff successfully drove all of the other posts from his blog's list of comments. He's run the board... everyone else is gone. It's just Jeff. All fifteen.
Thanks for playing the game, Jeff: fighting fire with fire.
Mr Emery:
"So according to you fish a probable rapist and sexual predator is 10 points more popular than your guy Trump."
You do have to wonder why people with such obvious bias are allowed anywhere near a news desk, but the last year or so has cured me of that notion. Obviously Paul should read an editorial missive on-the-air every once in a while like this blog's proprietor. An unlikely thing, but really the best for everyone.
Cartman Wars and Paul's inability to view the world dispassionately aside, it's worth considering these polls for a sec:
What exactly are you seeing there? It probably isn't the economy pushing those numbers down. Is it purely the Fourth Estate running 24/7 investigative propaganda and editorials disguised as news? Perhaps the masses are just in an uproar in a cyclical fashion? I honestly don't know.
It's funny to think about how het up people are in these cases where the political machinations of the last year have had so little effect on their personal lives...with the possible exception of the stock market (which has it's own mind I'm afraid).
If all that comes of our current situation is a complete distrust of news organizations by the average individual, well, that's enough. News now appears to consist of those with little personal experience in much of anything, a chip on their shoulder, and the politics of a boorish drunk. My guess is that Pelline and mini-P are unsurprising members of their class.
an absolutely not surprising application of current technologies. Just imagine the fun you could have pointing a version of that software at a couple of decades of C-SPAN Congressional hearings. Seriously, someone should do this.
Scenes, the numbers are the numbers when it comes to polls. Bill Clinton is more highly re guarded than Trump by around 10 % and Obama by nearly 30 points. You can talk reasons all you like but that doesn't change the results which are factual and comparable because they are from the same poll.
God Bless western Nevada County. It has so much potential but is dragged down by a hard right contingent that is out of step with California, an intellectual mecca and economic engine for our nation. This outlandish behavior makes it hard for the rest of the state to take our community seriously. But until community leaders stand up to this group, we will forever be labeled “backwater.”
Greg, Todd, Don......jeffy has mobilized the Nevada City Emergency Response Action League.....you should all expect a stern talking to when the squad drops by....which should be in mere moments......sorry but its for the good of "our communities™" so you won't have to remain labeled an....umm...."backwater" and Nevada City can reclaim its rightful place as the "Paris" of the foothills! Or something.....
Paul 9:12- "Bill Clinton is more highly regarded than Trump by around 10 % and Obama by nearly 30 points."
Obama and Clinton spent 8 years in the White House, Trump only 1. History shows that the longer in office, the lower the rating. Second term presidents rank lowest (usually). I wonder how low Trump will get after 4 years (if he survives that long)?
Now jon. History doesn't allow your claim to hold water.
But it helps when the LIBERAL media is still lined up to blow "O".
Media hasn't given Trump the credit he's due. ANYTHING to sabotage
his Presidency is the name of the game today.
I hope you don't subscribe to the weaponizing of government agencies for political use. ( "O" did a fine job of that)
Well Jon Trumps is the lowest in history at this point so who knows how low he can go. Especially with the passage of so called tax cuts that will make the rich richer and add to the deficit.
Hay Paul.. Think about it this way. Your not going to see another Progressive elected in your lifetime.
Since when did "your side" worry about deficits? They sure did their best to run them up as much as possible. HELL! Not even a budget in 8 years. ( but bitch about Trump)
Reduction in regs!(OH the horror!) Obummercare in now DOA!( another TAX shot to shit)
When things REALLY get rolling, LIB will not be a good thing to be.
Facts will win out over horse shit news.
Jon.. Billy and Ronnie! What a comparison...Reagon was the most popular one during my time voting, but the media started undermining him towards the middle of his second term. I thought it was funny when democrats started bailing out of their party during Clinton's time, but wondered if they'd move into the Republican Party and change it to their same o same o mentality cuz I noticed old habits are hard to break. Too bad there isn't a Rhino party.
OK jon,, "according" to LIB media.
No care to explain why the Left has changed their monicor so many times over the years? Paul won't or can't answer that.
Democrat is a term of the past, Then Liberal became a dirty word, now well on the way to bastardizing Progressive. Before Trump is out of office, the Left will come out of the closet like a prancing Frisco "flamer" and proclaim they are full blown Socialists, maybe even Commie. "Communists are for the people". Just ask Nancy.
I understand fish don't see well out of water. They probably can't read either.
". . . .as so closed l’affaire Bundy!" except that isn't what your link says. Charges have NOT been dropped against the defendants and a new trial likely begins in February.
This is the government's case to lose, and unfortunately, I bet they will manage to lose it.
Posted by: jon smith | 20 December 2017 at 12:27 PM
I would expect that this quietly goes away by mid next year! Even without the government misbehavior it was going to be difficult to get a conviction in this venue!
Tell you what .....this still a thing next year I owe you a Coke!
jon.. That's the Progressive "O"and Co. FBI for you.
"Navarro showed evidence suggesting prosecutors refused to produce records showing agents conducting surveillance on the Bundy Ranch, and threat assessments about the Bundys dating back to 2012. The prosecutors also did not disclose unredacted FBI logs about activity at the ranch in the days around the standoff.
BLM Special Agent Larry Wooten investigated earlier this year the agency’s behavior leading up to the standoff and found “incredible bias” and widespread misconduct and likely illegal actions by the BLM. "
The same that gave Hillary an out? The same that is out to ruin Trump with bogus "evidence"?
These are Nazi Gestapo tactics. And who is up to this? Your side of the fence.
Care to bet if the "G"man will try and prosecute again? Dirty Harry Reid isn't around anymore.(he's out chasing UFO's)
The urban revival of America’s core inner cities has been a decades-long failed experiment, as deindustrialization coupled with failed liberal policies have created a growing problem of inequality and violent crime. Middle-class advancement was once localized in the core of America’s cities, but that is not so much the case today, as those areas are labeled a “barbell economy,” divided between highly-paid professionals and low-skill service workers.
Brookings Institution notes as early as the 1970s, middle-class income in the inner cities started to shrink more than anywhere else. Today, in most US inner cities, the cores are more unequal than their surrounding suburbs, noted geographer Daniel Herz.
As the failed American inner city experiment nears the latter stages before a collapsing point, a new report from Time could be the final nail in the coffin for some American inner cities, as the article suggests “cities have already reached ‘Peak Millennial’ as young people begin to leave.”
According to the latest Census data, after years of growth, the population of millennials in Boston and Los Angeles have declined since 2015, as a mass exodus from city life starts to take shape. Other cities such as Chicago, New York, and Washington, D.C., are experiencing similar issues but not as severe while growth rates of millennials plateau.
Two years ago Joel Kotkin told Nevada County this migration was coming and the County should prepare to attract the best and brightest fleeing from urban squalor, seeking single-family homes in safe communities to raise their children. According to Kotkin, these are the future economic engine in rural communities as they will be bringing their jobs with them, working remotely, or starting a business with fellow millennials. But, the leadership failed to come forward and create those safe single-family homes connected to a fiber optic broadband network in a school district know for educational excellence. We are building those connected homes in exceptional school districts in Placer County, Nevada County fails to compete once again.
RussS 1251pm - Good report Russ. California is particularly remiss in providing for such an exodus (e.g. lack of low cost housing) from urban areas which Democratic administrations have ridden into the mud, and in the process have given all of us a peek into a socialist future.
I'm probably a broken record on this, but I'd say that you are seeing an increasing tendency towards ethnic segregation over time. The outpouring of middle class whites to the sticks and/or Californians generally moving to the Free States (to spread their magic) is a side effect of this. I'll look and see if there's any statistics on that.
I honestly doubt that most of them explicitly look at it this way, it's always for cheaper housing or a 'safer' community or something, but the result is the same.
Give it a rest Paul, more than 50% wanted "O" impeached.
Forget your pals in the House and Sen. Wetting their collective undies that if the Repubs gained seats they would impeach "O"?
"O" DID commit high crimes. Where was your bitch then?
Nixon had nothing on "O".
Trump has not committed one crime.
Just apply another coat of that buttsore cream.
The House is the genesis of the impeachment process Paul Emery not a poll. And after watching the lovefest after the tax reform vote I don't think there is much support for your wet dream. And after the tax provisions go into play, Trump will be a shoo-in next cycle as will the R's in the House in 18 and the Senate in 18. Better prepare yourself for some new meds.
"41% support Trump impeachment in the Conservative WSJ poll."
Wow, indeed, Paul. "[T]he Conservative WSJ poll"? What do you think will happen if Mueller does not find the collusion with the Russians that the "41%" think is true... because they've not heard their newscasters talk about the other side?
While the WSJ editorial page staff are moderate Conservatives on the whole, their news side is moderate Democrat... and the poll wasn't a WSJ poll, it was an NBC News/WSJ poll and NBC is moderate Progressive as far as I can tell, in the tank for the Democrats in office.
The Rasmussen Daily Presidential poll is back up to 44% today, thought you'd like to know.
Scenes 123pm - ethnic auto-segregation looks about right to me, and has been so recorded in these pages for years. Looking forward to any stats that you can dig up.
I meet new people every day Paul, (it's what I do) Funny, I have yet to find a person that feels the way you do about Trump, or what's he's doing.
Or don't LIBS spend money to keep their properties in good repair?
Is there a GOV. program I haven't heard about they apply for?
Calif. the parasite
" Despite having less than 12 percent of the nation’s population, California pocketed 19.6 percent of all federal spending on Medicaid."
And good bloody luck!
"Covered California executive director Peter Lee suggested at a Dec. 7 board meeting that the Democrat-controlled California legislature should pass its own state-level individual mandate."
60% taxation should do the trick.
BK every business and individual to give free healthcare to all. Great Idea. Only a Proggy would dream that up.
Over the past year, Idaho became the fastest-growing state in the U.S., according to national and state population estimates that were released Wednesday by the U.S. Census Bureau.
When we were there this summer Idaho Fall housing was being snapped up as fast as it was built. Sun Valley natives were upset that rich California's are buying up homes, but are only using them a couple of weeks in winter and summer, denying locals housing.
Judge declares a mistrial in Bundy Ranch standoff case.
“A federal judge has declared a mistrial in the case against Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, saying U.S. prosecutors willfully withheld critical and ‘potentially exculpatory’ evidence from the defense.”
Your crappy memory is showing again Paul. You have been informed more than once on that subject. If you can't recall even that, everything else you pull from memory is questionable.
At least NOW I can buy what I care to. NOT what the government says what I should have.
Have you had your yearly pap smear you pay for? How bout that mammogram?
Gov. interference drove the price of health care through the roof of One World Center, and now good old American competition and capitalism will bring the price right back down.
No more Liberals picking winners and losers in the insurance game.

I'm always perusing the funny papers for humor - Here's the latest from the Kossacks: https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2017/12/20/1724451/-We-must-be-ready-for-RW-militia-backlash-if-we-win-2018
Sooo many money quotes, I won't try to pick them all out. You just have to read this article projecting left wing violence into the conservatives.
Funny how none of this happened when Obama was in office illegally using various arms of the federal govt to go after innocent conservatives.
Anyway - I'm still laughing at the idea of the lefties trying to 'get ready' for a right-wing militia backlash. Just to start with - if the left is calling it a 'militia' then they have just waved off a huge anti right-to-own-and-bear fire arms argument. But then, I've never accused these bozos of being intelligent.
Russ at 5:24 - You aren't kidding. Now remember - the entire population of Idaho didn't pass a million until around 1990. So it isn't hard for us to be the 'fastest growing' state. Texas still leads with the highest number of population increase. It isn't just the lower cost of living. The politics are so much more conservative and since this is a lower income state (not lower in quality of living), spending is closely watched. Not a lot of waste. Personal liberty is higher here. The pipeline from Cal to Idaho is open and flowing. Productive tax payers are leaving CA. They can see the writing on the wall.
The has been a lot of concern and some brew ha ha about the danger of cellphone radiation on local progressive blogs. Here is another view of cell phone beneficial transmissions.

Well I actually agree with Todds guy Steve Bannon on this. Remember Trump wanted Bush impeached.
"Steven Bannon, professional Republican Party instigator and former chief political strategist to President Donald Trump, blasted the Bush family and called former President George H.W. Bush a “pervert” amid allegations of sexual misconduct by the 41st commander in chief.
Bannon took umbrage with the presidency of George W. Bush, the 43rd president, and called out the elder Bush for criticizing Trump.
“The Bush presidency is the most destructive presidency in history. James Buchanan included. It’s not even close,” Bannon told Vanity Fair, comparing George W. Bush to the 15th president, who has been called one of the worst in the country’s history.
Bannon went on: “And by the way. I haven’t even gotten to 9/11. I mean, 9/11! Think about if 9/11 had happened on Trump’s watch. We would have gotten 100 percent of the blame by the Bush
guys. And they said, well, we just got here. What do you mean you just got here? That’s what gets me about them coming after Trump. I really detest them. I mean, the old man is a pervert. He’s a pervert. Grabbing these girls and grabbing their asses?”

I always liked Gov. Nikki. Good woman, good person, good Governor, good mind. She never endorsed Trump throughout 2016, along with Ted Cruz and many others.for a variety of reasons, including the Access Hollywood Tape. But when it came down to crunch time in the first week of November, 2016, she (along with many others) announced she does not endorse Trump, but will vote for him. Close enough. We’ll take that vote of her’s along with the 62 million others.

"Damn straight; you got a problem with that? What the hell do you think the UN is, a social club of peers?"
-GR
That wasn't what Haley was saying, but if it was, I would have a problem with it.
What I heard Haley say was that given the USA pays most of the bills around here, we expect our sovereignty to not be attacked by this body and we will be taking heed of who is doing it to us. Shades of Jean Kirkpatrick.
In the game of negotiating peace between Israel and the Palestinians, allowing Israel to have Jerusalem as its capital has been to the Palestinians as the football has been to Lucy. If it was ever to happen, it would have to happen just as it has, with the USA announcing the reality and that we will move our embassy there. Someday, sooner than later.
Gregory 1037am - Re Haley, please see Scattershots 22dec17 update.
Re my 926am. My comment only addressed the notion raised by 'Generalissimo's' 809am. Since you would have a problem with my comment, I would love to hear the details. Perhaps you could append them under Scattershots where Trump's foreign policy and Haley's UN response are featured. Thanks.
How was US sovereignty was attacked by a vote in the UN??? Money given to UN by USA is '''soft power''' and is influential.
General Trumpski telling the UN to vote the way he wants or he will take is marbles home is totally childish,,, but so Trumpian!!!

Greg, crawl back under a rock where you belong. Small towns are a hoot!"
No, Jeff, I never lie, outside of the fighting hubris with hubris such as when I told everyone about your white zin and 2 buck chuck habits... as a fellow given to making up stuff to make deadlines, I'm sure you might understand the shortcut of accusing you of actually drinking 2buck (or is it 3buck now?) for a rise... I wanted to get to sleep and baiting you for a couple more comments to clear your board was my goal. EZ Pease japanesey. Seeing all 15 comments being YOU was beautiful, man.
Your linkedin profile got updated some time ago when, on this very blog, I slut-shamed you into divulging your UC degree... your profile info dates to that exchange. And your 95959Report blog DOES NOT have the subjects of either of your degrees, just "Jeff has a bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley and a master's from Northwestern University. His hobbies include sailing and trout fishing" ... isn't that special? I'm sure the trout and the folks steering clear of your boat are impressed.
In this recent exchange, Jeff was calling me a liar about the distance from my family's home in Alhambra to CalStateLA ... he apparently thought the city center must have been where we lived, not thinking that a campus that's ADJACENT to Alhambra would mean some homes could be as close as next door... and unless I divulged the address so he could check, that meant I was a liar.
It's precisely 2.1 miles, Jeff. I said "a couple" and jeff thought that was ripe for some Fats Checking. I thought that was a good guess considering I ain't lived there for 30+ years.
That reminded me of the lie he promulgated that I threw a temper tantrum at a Constitution Day parade, that had NO BASIS IN FACT, but was willing to apologize for doing it but only if I provided a copy of the letter I sent the Marching Presidents over an incident I witnessed that threw Mikail Graham's character into question. One old friend of Graham's that I told the story to agreed Mikail had a history of "chicken-shit" acts like the one I was caught up in.
No, Jeff doesn't get my old addresses. He also doesn't get copies of letters I write that are private and don't involve him no matter what he makes up as bargaining chips.
George, your 927 described too bald a quid pro quo, which wasn't Halley's description of the US position. No, we don't expect countries to vote with us because we pay most of the bills, but we do demand respect of our sovereignty.

It is ranked #3 for Regional Universities West

Now, LMU *does* show up on this list, of engineering schools that don't grant PhD's, topping out at Bachelors or Masters... it's in the top 10%, sharing the 19th spot of 200:
https://www.usnews.com/best-colleges/rankings/engineering-overall
LOL!

As an example:
jeffy writes like the teenaged girl writing the "Opinion" column for the high school paper because mom fancied herself a feminist and didn't want her daughter taking the Home Economics elective with her idiot girlfriends!
Posted by: fish | 19 December 2017 at 05:18 PM

Trump
https://d25d2506sfb94s.cloudfront.net/cumulus_uploads/inlineimage/2017-11-15/11.15-1.png
Clinton (go down a page and rescale the chart in your head to match the Trump one)
http://news.gallup.com/poll/224330/hillary-clinton-favorable-rating-new-low.aspx

Exodus Starts: Millennials Ditch City Life
The urban revival of America’s core inner cities has been a decades-long failed experiment, as deindustrialization coupled with failed liberal policies have created a growing problem of inequality and violent crime.
Read the rest with graphics here: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-12-17/exodus-starts-millennials-ditch-city-life
Two years ago Joel Kotkin told Nevada County this migration was coming and the County should prepare to attract the best and brightest fleeing from urban squalor, seeking single-family homes in safe communities to raise their children.

Looks like Millennials maybe moving to Idaho.

That’s serious misconduct.

Remember? your old. The gov. already pays for you.(as you have bragged about)

I'm always perusing the funny papers for humor - Here's the latest from the Kossacks:
https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2017/12/20/1724451/-We-must-be-ready-for-RW-militia-backlash-if-we-win-2018

Nikki Haley and America First:
I always liked Gov. Nikki. Good woman, good person, good Governor, good mind. She never endorsed Trump throughout 2016, along with Ted Cruz and many others.for a variety of reasons, including the Access Hollywood Tape. But when it came down to crunch time in the first week of November, 2016, she (along with many others) announced she does not endorse Trump, but will vote for him. Close enough. We’ll take that vote of her’s along with the 62 million others.

Thanks.

Cleanup on aisle 5
jeffpelline says:
December 19, 2017 at 11:50 pm
"Greg writes: “Oh, but you typically hide the BA Rhetoric, don’t you, Jeff? Another lie! ” My LinkedIn profile clearly states: “University of California, Berkeley; Bachelor’s Rhetoric.” https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeff-pelline-76068b4/ When you go head-to-head with this clown, you realize that he routinely lies to score points.
