1). If the Koreas can get together and make an end to war on the peninsula with US involvement, wouldn’t that be a hands down favorite for President Trump to win the Nobel Peace Prize? Maybe share it with Rocketman and his S. Korean counterpart, like Yassir and Jimmy and the Jewish guy.
2). Time to charge McCabe for lying to the FBI? The FBI agents did indeed go over to Justice to question the 2nd in command.

The Cruz race is not competitive. He will win going away. My guess he will win by two hundred thousand votes. The poll was weighted incorrectly to democrats in a R state.
Here Paul Emery and all the readers interested in the Qpoll Paul cites. When you read this you will see the huge disconnect between the results of the poll and what the intervening percentages are on all the issues. Even the personal ones. Cruz will wipe out his opposition. The results on election night were a substantial R turnout and mass of voters. This is not even evident in this Qpoll. It just reinforces why these kinds of conclusions are such a joke.

We don’t want Hillary’s numbers to go too low.. Might be bad for us, We want Hillary to stick around with her fingers in the DNC and choosing her candidates and making trouble for the Dems. We want her to be seen everywhere in front of the camera as often as possible, with or without her glass of Chardonnay. Whatever they served her in India must have been worth the climb up the steps, but I digress. Broken wrist, broken ankle....retirement had been rough of My Gal, but she keeps trudging along.
Read that she will open the Spring DNC fundraiser as is custom for the party’s last nominee after an election. She is not the featured speaker or featured anywhere but in the lobby. She will be sitting at the gala entrance behind a table (probably with a stack of “What Happened” books to peddle behind her) and greet the arriving donors and the Democrat’s Who’s Who. Bernie went back to being an Independent Socialist, so he probably won’t be there. Just as well. He ain’t known for giving or donating, just receiving.
Hillary-David Brock machine is the best thing for us. The Russian Collusion hype, Hillary blaming the crack of dawn for her being a Sore Loser, is losing its luster. It’s wearing thin on the worn out public. She’s a reminder to the voter to drain the swamp.

Outing of Hannity.
Always remember that the attorney-client privledge is to protect the client, not the attorney. Even if Cohen is not an attorney, the public does not have the right to know the names of uncharged 3rd parties. Bending the rules again just adds speculation that this is a political witch hunt instead of a valid investigation, IMHO.
“The United States Attorneys Manual admonishes that “in all public filings and proceedings, federal prosecutors should remain sensitive to the privacy and reputation interests of uncharged third-parties.” Unless a person has been formally charged with a crime, not only should the government avoid publicly naming the person; federal prosecutors are further schooled to avoid even an “unnecessarily-specific description.” In other words, while calling Hannity “Client No. 3” would have been proper, even referring to him as “S.H.” would have transgressed the policy. There is no justification for publicizing his full name.
While CNN delights in embarrassing Hannity (without telling its viewers that it was CNN’s own lawyer that got the judge to disclose his name publicly), just remember one thing. What the government did to Hannity, they may and will do to you on the Left next. I would temper my giddiness, you Lefties and Hannity haters, because chickens have a way of coming home to roost. The FBI went judge shopping and found one who is not too bright. But, then again, all the rules are going out the window.
"A longtime legal adviser to President Trump says he's warned the president that his attorney Michael Cohen would turn against him and end up cooperating with federal prosecutors should he face criminal charges stemming from a raid of documents found in his home, office and hotel room, according to the Wall Street Journal. Cohen has been under criminal investigation for months over his personal business dealings."
Ah the flights of fancy by the po' ol' fakenewsman have fallen flat thus far and the President is still in office in spite of the breathless proclamations. Remember the one about him quitting before inauguration? We do.
“I don’t think the inspector general can do anything but come down hard on Comey,” former head of the FBI’s Criminal Investigative Division Chris Swecker told Fox News. “I’m sure he has an inner circle of friends, but I don’t see anyone out there defending him right now. He’s managed to pretty much tick off everybody.”
On this day in 1775, American militiamen at Lexington and Concord confronted 700 British Red Coats — firing the opening volley for American Liberty. The British governor had ordered his troops to seize weapons in Concord. It is no small irony that the first shots of the Revolution were fired in response to a gun confiscation order.
BillT 1250pm - Very good, you stole the march on me Mr Tozer. I was planning on using that anniversary in tomorrow's town hall. You should post this comment under the appropriate 'par force' commentary, the gun confiscation aspect of the British action would be most relevant there.
Yes, that is where it belongs. But, I just wanted to say Happy Patriots Day to all, including those disinterested in the current gun issue or volleying back and forth about Boss Hogg and the Squealing Piglets. There is a method to my madness, although some may find it madding. It was a judgement call and I am appreciative on your long suffering.
Ok, how about this one. It is related to tomorrow. Use caution going to a fro the March For Life (But Not Pro Life) On City Townhall. Inside the building might be the safest place to be at that hour.....unless Punchy decides its finally time to exercise his 2nd Amendment Rights :)

"Thursday on CNN’s “Wolf,” Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz said President Donald Trump should “assume your best friends will flip” to cooperate with investigators once they are charged with crimes.
When asked about Michael Cohen, Dershowitz said, “I have told every client I have represented over the last 53 years—assume your best friends will flip. Prosecution has an enormous leverage. They can charge you with a dozen crimes, even if they’re relatively technical crimes, that accumulate with the guidelines and tell you you’ll never see the outside again, you’ll serve your life in prison. That kind of pressure brings forth not only singing but composing. Witnesses realize the better the story, the better the deal they get, so the risk is they will exaggerate or elaborate or even sometimes make up stories. I think the president has to assume that his closest friends, his greatest associates, the people he trusts the most, if exposed to the risk of life imprisonment will flip. That has to be his working assumption.”

And to get through the activist part to the football part, you then have to battle that last year of tape — which isn’t very good either.”

Oh Walt,....oh Walt...oh Walt!, that is funny indeed. You cannot indict a sitting President. The DOJ’s Office of Legal Counsel, which issues legal memdoranums to the Executive Branch on matters of Constitutionality, holds steadfastly to the view that you cannot criminally indict a sitting President. This is the DOJ’s stance and legal ruling for 45 years now, unchanged under Democrat and Republican presidents. The Office of Legal Counsel first issued its legal rulings, memorandums, and DOJ policy in 1973 under Nixon and held the same position with its update in 2000 under Clinton.
Meuller knows this, Comey knows this. It is impossible to have a criminal investigation of someone you cannot indict.
Funny, every talking MSM head on TV along with every guest expert lawyer, every former judge from any jurisdiction, every prosecutor from all levels, every defense attorney, legal anaylist, and every legal expert fails to mention this.
So, the pesky questions remains. If you cannot indict a sitting President, then what is Meuller doing? He is exclusively from day one building a case for articles of impeachment. Thus, when Meuller recently announced there is no criminal investigation of Trump, he was telling the truth.
Cold weather, cooler temps? It’s caused by Global Warming.. I shat you not. Read an article recently from the AGW crowd that explains it all. See, the ice caps melt and that cooler fresh water hits the ocean currents and prevents the warmer saltier currents in the North Atlantic from coming farther north, and Viola!, colder temps in the England and Detroit and New Foundland. Perfect. Sweet. Warming means cooling, duh. :).
District One. Their debate tonight proved Hodge is not ready for the job. Dan Miller clearly is the leader and knows what is going on and has solutions. Hodge is full of platitudes and hubris. Not good for the District.
I saw that movie already Bill.
Now have you seen the news from the islands? They are getting hammered. Floods, homes washed out to sea. Then piracy of all things. People are going around in boats claiming to be "help",

There is some aloha for ya'.
Don is out of the pot business. Even his hero Trump has dumped the idea of federal control. Not much demand for his kind of politics. Don always was a one trick pony.
I watched Paul Emery on NCTV ask his first question. I thought "is he drunk"? It was a rambling incoherent diatribe about the lack of affordable housing. U thought to myself, Hmmm. Now this is the guy that helped defeat my affordable housing project years ago and now he is crying about it? You cannot make up the hypocrisy of people like Emery. Pathetic.

Mr. Paul could stand to have the experience of actually attempting to build a new house (or apartments) in the Great State of California. The real world is a funny place, everyone should try it sometime.
,,,sure todd if you like miller then you are a follower of the old cronies,,,hodge is a leader
,,,did you watch the cannabis forum on nctv Todd???
,,,miller was stumbling around,,,he wants mj to remain a schedule 1 drug,,,what a dufus!!!
Marylin, Hodge a leader? You metrosexuals would follow a lemming over the cliff if they told you a pot plant was at the bottom. I have my own individual life and follow the best people. Miller makes your pick look like a third grader.
Boardman, what were you toking on this morning? Where would you have thought I said anything about which district? Anyway, my project and my rentals are in Grass Valley so I have a stake in the race regardless.
I don’t plan on voting for either Dan Miller or HH 88. I don’t live in that district. And neither does Boardman, FYI. :)
But, HH88 does have an edge. The largest concentration of renters and welfare receiptants in the county live in GV. But, then again, Dan Miller is the incumbent with a track record of no major screw ups.....unlike that drunk driver at the Condon Pak who endangered lives of our children and is sitting on the BOS and not up for re-election. Go figure.
Of what to do, what to do. Guess I won’t vote for either.
A few years ago I had to laugh. Was listening to the radio when someone was running for the GV Council. Maybe it was the porn surfer. Nay, it was well before that. Anyway, the chap promised jobs, maintaining the character of the city, and a bunch of other things. I laughed because how many jobs will a GV council member create within the GV city limits with a no growth building agenda? What, hire another staff member? What, create 3 jobs? Oh wow, I am impressed. Hey, the city was lucky to get a grant o by one cop car at the time and was basically running on razor thin margins. But, he would fix all of that and create jobs, jobs, jobs and redo all the sidewalks and fix every one of the citizens’ concerns. Ya right. How about a train to nowhere (Colfax). Yeah, that will fix everything.
Shoot howdy, all of them promise jobs, smart growth, maintaining our rural atmosphere and small town feel, end homelessness, solve affordable housing, blah, blah, blah. Yep, be they a small town city council person or Mayor of LA or the Governor, they all promise jobs, wealth, 2 chickens in every pot, 40 acres and a mule, prosperity, and solutions to these “themes” year after year, decade after decade, from sea to shining blue state sea.
They will all be running to get in from of the cameras and microphones when the next fire or flood hits our little piece of paradise.
Guess this year it all gets down to free range dope and housing for all.
Bill.. I just love beating a dead horse. Especially when it's still bloated with fresh stink to spray upon politicians making promises about jobs and growth.
IMM.. (Idaho Maryland mine ) Honest to goodness work, for plenty of people. Taxable income and expenditures. But NOPE!! Green lies killed that. "Tech jobs" will ride in and save us all.. Still waiting. Then weed was the new gold mine. How's that working?
Yes, a little reminder at the up and coming "vote for me" fest should make a few squirm.
Sooner than later the new mine folk will make their presence known.
Has anyone asked Ms Hodge about her work history? Who in the private sector has hired her to do what for how long? What kinds of businesses can she "ignite" or has she ignited at her Sierra Commons?
George Boardman | 20 April 2018 at 10:10 AM
I never said a word in this thread about the Supervisor District GeorgeB. I think you are the one that is stoned. My goodness are you OK?
Oops, yep I said District One at 859. And you assumed I thought they were running for that seat? No, simply a comment on which District the debate was held in. You really assume don't you?
Poor Todd is still complaining about the rejection of his trashy little development back in the early 90's that couldn't even get the support of the conservative majority on the Board of Supervisors. He pulled the project before it went to vote.
Odd position you are taking Scenes. I was a representing a position supporting less restrictions in building codes for housing options. Do you oppose that?
Sorry Paul Emery your memory is shot. I got a 5-0 vote for my project at the Planning Commission and then after you and your limousine liberals attacked me and the affordable housing project, I withdrew t from consideration. You really show us all how terrible you are as a "journalist" Sad. And you sure were babbling last night at the debate. Were you imbibing? You really showed all what a flaming hypocrite you are.
Policies by Paul Emery and his ilk are the prevalent one's in the county. You can put the homeless issues right on his and their backs as they decided housing was too much "growth". Now they think we believe them when they cry about the homeless and other housing issues. Sorry but you created this Paul Emery, live with it.
Now I know Paul is smoking dope. Less building regs in THIS state?
Maybe when the state is broken up will that even have a chance.
The County has no say.(if any at all)
SEOUL, April 21 (Yonhap) -- North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has announced that the country will suspend nuclear and missile tests and shut down a nuclear test site in the northern area, state media said Saturday.
"From April 21, North Korea will stop nuclear tests and launches of intercontinental ballistic missiles," the Korean Central News Agency said.
"The North will shut down a nuclear test site in the country's northern side to prove the vow to suspend nuclear test," it added.

"'You know, I am getting pretty tired of hearing about how nobody likes me,' she said."

"District One. Their debate tonight proved Hodge is not ready for the job. Dan Miller clearly is the leader and knows what is going on and has solutions. Hodge is full of platitudes and hubris. Not good for the District."
Do you even know in which district Miller and Hodge are running?? To borrow a phrase from Chef Bourdain, "You are too dumb to pour piss out of a boot."
"Odd position you are taking Scenes. I was a representing a position supporting less restrictions in building codes for housing options. Do you oppose that?"
My guess is that you don't know current building code in any depth, so it's hard to even discuss the issue. In addition, there's a boatload of fees/taxes...all for good deeds of course.
Most of what I've seen for 'affordable' housing is to sneak around zoning for higher density. At the bottom of it all is someone trying to maximize the value for a plot of land.
As a practical matter, the simplest way to build a bunch of cheap housing in a hurry is to loosen the zoning for trailer parks. An extremely fun thing to watch would be a bunch of humanity-lovin' pro-diversity electric car drivin' Green Libertarians fight with a developer trying to build a mobile home park for-the-poor in their neighborhood.
Can anyone out there explain to me and jon smith and Scenes and George Boardman how it is possible that we have gone from teaching Greek and Latin in high school when we were impressionable youth to today teaching Remedial English in college.
Oddly enough, yes. It's a brilliant way to radically boost low-income housing, and you can do it on a temporary basis (temporary could be 1 year or 50 years). If it doesn't work, you can back out of the situation.
Given that you are tending to collect up poorly-behaved people, additional policing is probably needed. As it sits, I can't say that NC does a good job with what it already has.
The drawbacks to trailer parks is simple. You have to pay rent on the space...every darn month. If someone cannot feed themselves without a helping hand, what makes you think they can pay rent even once after the “first month free” expires?
But...but...but, can’t the county find some land and just give it away to the po folk? But, but, but, can’t the county just wave 30-40k in permits and fees and do the free hookup to sewer for our po folk? But, but, but, why doesn’t Nevada City or PGE or NID just run the infrstructure for free and provide free water and electricity and maybe Comcast can give everybody free cable and internet...with free solar.
I have had this conservation with a well meaning advocate 20 years ago who, quite incidentally, was looking for affordable housing for himself, lol. He said if we can find some old rich lady to just donate some land and get those contractors and nail pounders to donate all the building materials needed, and if we could get the county to wave fees and get an exemption on property taxes....and if we can....that was his solution. I told him at the time (with the possible exception of waving fees and reduced property taxes) that program already exists! It’s called Habitat for Humanity and they are building right now 3 sweat equity homes and plan to finish the project with a total of 9 homes in two years ....out of the hundreds needed.
Here is one couple’s solution. Live in RVs and Yurts. Make temp quarters permanent. Very well meaning.....if you have the land. They ain’t making anymore land.
The “Drag a hundred dollar bill through a trailer park and no telling what you will find” condescending attitude of the elites is why Trump was elected. They look down on “trailer park trash”. The one on Zion Street is fine, my kind of people.
I like that one as well Bill (Zion Street). Many people I know are looking for housing and have jobs and families in schools. The increase in property values has caused many property owners put up their rentals for sale and forcing residents to find other housing.
All I said was District One. Then a period. How do you know what was meant? Anyway, you are as dumb as a rock as I was a District One Supervisor for eight years. My goodness jonsmith, are you drunk again tonight along with Boardman? Apparently so.
That Hillary Hodge is sure a typical liberal. I bet she never was told what to do by her parents and she probably got a trophy for showing up. Her hubris was amazing. Maybe jonsmith, the local village idiot could get a meeting with her to compare their failed childhoods?
Todd 6:00
"All I said was District One."
Oh yeah, we are convinced :-)!! Cry yourself to sleep with that line. I don't see anyone standing up for you.
Keep digging Todd. With every shovel of manure, you increasingly reveal yourself as the moron that you are. Sleeping alone tonight? Again? Infidelity has a way of biting back.
Re: The DNC lawsuit against the Trump Campaign, Wikileaks, and the Russians for damages.
OMG. How stupid can Tom Perez be? How friggin stupid? A publicity stunt that is going to backfire big time. He just opened up the Dems to discovery and depositions and counter suits. Bring Donna Brazile in, Hillary in, the DNC in, bring Whatzername Shultz in, bring them all in and counter sue for Collusion with the Obama Administration not lifting a finger to stop Russian interference in the election. Put them all under oath. Get discovery on the money the Clinton Campaign, the DNC, and Obama for America slushed through their lawyer to fund Fusion GPS. Bring it on.
Those named in the suit need not be on defense. Nay, it’s an open door to be very very aggressive and go after them. Then, when the DNC and Perez opt to drop the lawsuit, refuse to drop it. The defendants do not have to agree to drop it. This is a golden opportunity. Oh yes, the DNC will fight discovery tooth and nail.
“By filing a lawsuit, the Democrats just opened themselves to discovery. A how a few smart lawyers can turn this around on the Democrats and cause a few headaches over what the Left thought would be a nice publicity stunt.”
President Trump is on board.
“Just heard the Campaign was sued by the Obstructionist Democrats. This can be good news in that we will now counter for the DNC Server that they refused to give to the FBI, the Wendy Wasserman Schultz Servers and Documents held by the Pakistani mystery man and Clinton Emails.”
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 20, 2018
Get the most aggressive mo fro lawyers you can find and tear them a new one.
Trump’s mystery man of Patistan. Quite the portrait when put on a list. Trial starts May 4th. Debbie wants her laptop back and House Caucus had some explaining to do.
First a rattlesnake bite,, some time goes by,, almost bear chow.
Then off to Hawaii to get away from it all, low and behold a shark gets a turn.

Remember when the Popinjays were running around with their hair on fire squawking, “Treason, Greaser!, Russian Collusion, Smoking Gun, Treason!” about the Russian (RUSSIAN) lawyer meeting in Trump Towers with Don Jr and the slimeball “Greaser”?
Well, two quotes popped out.
1) Veselnitskaya alleged in her interview with the AP in downtown Moscow that if Mueller's team never questions her, it would mean that it "is not working to discover the truth."
2) Veselnitskaya dismissed the dossier as "absolute nonsense." She insisted that Glenn Simpson, whose firm Fusion GPS was hired to compile the dossier and who was questioned by the House Intelligence Committee in January, had been "framed."
Hmm. That last quote really jumps out. Glenn Simpson got framed? I wish she would have expanded more on that. Who knows, maybe....maybe not. Apparently Meuller isn’t interested in interviewing her.
1) In a move that reeks of desperation, the DNC filed a civil suit Friday against President Trump’s campaign, Russia and WikiLeaks, alleging a vast (right wing!) conspiracy to tip the election to Trump.
The suit’s flamboyant charges made headlines, but that only served to obscure the real meaning. Namely, that top Dems are giving up their fantasies that special counsel Robert Mueller will deliver them from political purgatory by getting the goods on Trump.
The trashy suit is their way of trying to keep impeachment and Russia, Russia, Russia alive for the midterms in case Mueller’s probe comes up empty.
——————-
Don’t let down your guard, Mr. President of the United States. It could be a trap to get you to let your hair down. We know now that McCabe lied, Comey lied, and Rosenstein is a liar.
2) Truth be told, party leaders are right to be disheartened by setbacks in the War against Trump. For the second time, the president was told he is not a target of Mueller, this time by Rod Rosenstein, the deputy assistant attorney general who created Mueller.
While Trump could still become a target, the odds of that happening decline by the day.
The probe started in the summer of 2016 by the FBI, and was taken over by Mueller nearly a year ago. Despite a large, secret budget and a squad of seasoned gunners, many of them Clinton supporters, Mueller hasn’t produced any evidence of a crime by the president.

Gregory’s prior comments have been confirmed again. The Hillary “I’m with Her” campaign indeed elevated Trump, figuring the Deplorable who make 2016 the easiest campaign to win....ever in the history ofPresidential election. Mook said he’s gotta get him some more Trump....according to the NYT reporter, who was blowing breath kisses to My Gal. That sucks.
This might be a fakenews Russian site, trying to influence my thinking. Just saying. They do have an article entitled “Pelosi, Dementia or Botox Poisoning?” , but I was too afraid of what the real life pics might look like, so I dared not go there. Proceed with caution.

@ 7:38 pm.
Brock called Bubba the very day after The Glass Ceiling did not break and Bill was very interested what Brock had to say. Bubba liked the plan. Hillary was under the weather at the time. :)

There is no justification for publicizing his full name.
https://www.nationalreview.com/2018/04/sean-hannity-outing-violates-law/
While CNN delights in embarrassing Hannity (without telling its viewers that it was CNN’s own lawyer that got the judge to disclose his name publicly), just remember one thing. What the government did to Hannity, they may and will do to you on the Left next. I would temper my giddiness, you Lefties and Hannity haters, because chickens have a way of coming home to roost. The FBI went judge shopping and found one who is not too bright. But, then again, all the rules are going out the window.

Looks like Cohen me be Trumps John Dean

Lest we forget
On this day in 1775, American militiamen at Lexington and Concord confronted 700 British Red Coats — firing the opening volley for American Liberty. The British governor had ordered his troops to seize weapons in Concord. It is no small irony that the first shots of the Revolution were fired in response to a gun confiscation order.
Happy Patriots Day!

BillT 1250pm - Very good, you stole the march on me Mr Tozer. I was planning on using that anniversary in tomorrow's town hall. You should post this comment under the appropriate 'par force' commentary, the gun confiscation aspect of the British action would be most relevant there.

Dr. Rebane.

Bad news from Trumps inner circle
From Breitbart

Reality check on the SJW who is suing the NFL because no one wants him-
The NFL analyst continued, “His tape is bad. The last year of tape is bad. He had the yips. I’ve had the yips. I’ve had them throwing and I’ve had them putting. He couldn’t throw it from here to the camera towards the end accurately. He was so locked up as a quarterback. … The tape doesn’t lie.

From last year:
https://ijr.com/the-declaration/2017/06/903710-mark-levin-gets-right-point-doj-cant-indict-trump/
The NYT can to the same conclusion as former DOJ official Levine.
Too funny. Carry on. Oh, Meuller is bound by the DOJ rules and practices.

Walt, my buddy o buddy, again.

"The North will shut down a nuclear test site in the country's northern side to prove the vow to suspend nuclear test," it added.

Typically, charity begins in someone else's home.

Can anyone out there explain to me and jon smith and Scenes and George Boardman how it is possible that we have gone from teaching Greek and Latin in high school when we were impressionable youth to today teaching Remedial English in college.
Anybody?

"I'm all for more trailer parks Scenes. Are you?"
Posted by: scenes | 20 April 2018 at 05:05 PM
...as an aside, house trailers strike me as the only way to avoid the hugeness that is Title 24.
I don't see how you can build new low-cost housing in California.

Posted by: Bill Tozer | 20 April 2018 at 05:52 PM

2) Veselnitskaya dismissed the dossier as "absolute nonsense." She insisted that Glenn Simpson, whose firm Fusion GPS was hired to compile the dossier and who was questioned by the House Intelligence Committee in January, had been "framed."
http://www.stltoday.com/news/world/russian-lawyer-questions-why-mueller-hasn-t-contacted-her/article_c5db1bdc-de71-58cf-a44d-43ac4a03df8a.html
Hmm. That last quote really jumps out. Glenn Simpson got framed? I wish she would have expanded more on that. Who knows, maybe....maybe not. Apparently Meuller isn’t interested in interviewing her.

More Russia, Russia, Russia. 2 quotes:

I believe the record shows the ravings of a madman immediately pretending Gregory’s 7:57 pm comment above. Rather embarrased for trench coat Nessy, painlful to even cast a glance towards the unfortunate tormented lost soul. Not the kind who should ever get near a firearm. Sucks to be her.
That sucks.
