I love it when the Christian bashing born again liberals turn into Bible Thumpers.

Every generation there's one! Somebody who takes it upon himself to speak for Christianity as a whole....this time it's Schaeffer. Last time it was that guy who publishes Sojourners™.....Jim Wallis. It usually turns out that they are far less interested in faith than in using "faith" to justify actions by the state!

Leftists in sheeps clothing!

Sorry for the rerun George but given the gravity of my "crime" I had to make sure that Punch had a reasonable probability of seeing the evidence!

For the good of the nation!

Trump associate Roger Stone reveals new contact with Russian national during 2016 campaign

Although I wasn't a Trump supporter during the campaign (INSERT DENIAL OF VOTING FOR TRUMP HERE) ironically I too met with a Russian national just this morning at Raleys over coffee. No MAGA hat thank god....that would have been a dead giveaway that.....let's call him Peter.....was up to no good and certainly trying to influence.....err.....something! Perhaps Medicare (He showed me photos of his 89 year old mother)....or maybe farm policy (he was bragging, quite rightly about the beautiful purple garlic he grew in his garden).

Punchy you would be well within your rights as an upright and vigilant American to call the FBI immediately and report a subversive in your midst.

Has JonS/LindaC gotten out of jail yet?

Posted by: Todd Juvinall | 17 June 2018 at 11:48 AM

Has JonS/LindaC gotten out of jail yet?

No idea....but given the paucity of smug lefty posts since her .....ahem....outburst... I'm guessing that she was responsible for much more than the 25 to 35% of the "smith" blather that I Initially credited her for!!

Bill Tozer

Is she a he or isn’t he? That is the question. Is jon smith Aunt Linda or is Linda really Uncle Jon? Only the hair dresser knows for sure.

My two cents worth is that the unfornaturate incident within the Halls of Justice May have had little bearing on the sudden decrease in his/her/it’s coloroful commentaries here. Nay, I say. Think, think, think. Back up one step. What preceded this eruption of silence? What happen just prior to the dispensation of Justice from the bench? What, pray tell, explains the silence prior to the silence????

“If Hodge was anything other than an outspoken, finger pointing, self lamenting, and brash lesbian with zero qualifications, Miller would have lost.

Posted by: jon smith | 08 June 2018 at 01:40 PM”

And that’s the last we heard from Mr. smith.

That outburst above may have led to one jon smith being taken to the woodshed and put in the doghouse for a long time out by...let’s just say...by those birds of a feather. He turned on his own. He is now an official Uncle Tom. A traitor to the cause. A Freudian slip. We all know what he was really saying, what he really meant.
Divorces are messy. Some crack under the pressure. An insight into the mind of a crazy woman calling to be locked up before she does more harm. The courtroom drama was not the straw that broke the camel’s back, merely residue from of the fallout.

Sure, Gregory can say correlation does not necessarily equate to causation, but he has yet to said correlation never equates to causation. Follow the time line, and in a divorce settlement, follow the money. My healthcare insurance is just two damn high and I am losing my roommate, that lesbian c word.

Or, maybe not.

So George and others Trumps comments that I referred to are in the "just kidding" category according to you. Am I correct in that observation?

George Rebane

PaulE 124pm - Many are, most are not, please be specific. This is especially important since you took Trump's last comment as the serious desire of a nascent dictator.

Punchy 124pm

I'd be interested in the actual words GR wrote that you derived your "observation" from. You know, "quotes".

It seems to me that your "observations" are typically independent from the words written by the people you're attempting to caricature.

Taken from a comment I just put under the proper subject of Trump in Singapore....to follow the rules of engagement. :)

“Now, suddenly, Trump’s gone from warmonger to the second coming of Neville Chamberlain?

Finally, Pompeo declared, “In contrast to the previous administration, we want to include Congress as a partner in this process. We want our efforts to have broad support with the American people and endure beyond the Trump Administration. A treaty would be our preferred way to go.”

Sounds to me that Trump is moving from a saber rattling warmongering Dictator For Life God Emperor to a soft puddle of Neville Chamberlain goo. Wants Congress involved and follow the rule of law, turning “deals” into Treaties, as laid forth by the Constitution of these here United States. Something that last longer that Trump’s stunning and law abiding presidency. Sounds like Trump does not intend to rule forever. Very odd.

For a dictator lubing fellow, Trump is going in the wrong direction. That Trump even wants Congress to retake it’s Constitutional powers our legislative branch relequished under Hussein O. The Dictator Trump is doing it all wrong, breaking from his predecessor. Impeach him!

Here is a little fakenews tidbit on this Happy Fathers Day -

According to the Times, Pruitt’s request came after accepting the job as EPA administrator, which suggested he was using his position as the means for the favor.
However, the letter written on McKenna Pruitt’s behalf by Howell was written on November 1, 2016 — a full week before Donald Trump was elected president.
The Times has since deleted it from its article.
Deleted passage as follows:
As an example, Mr. Pruitt, shortly after taking the E.P.A. job, reached out to the former speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates seeking help for his daughter, McKenna, in securing admission to the University of Virginia School of Law. William Howell, the former speaker, appears on Mr. Pruitt’s official E.P.A. calendar, and he confirmed in an interview that he was approached by Mr. Pruitt and subsequently wrote a letter to the school’s dean on the daughter’s behalf.
Mary M. Wood, a spokeswoman for the university, declined to comment on the letter, which has not been previously reported, citing student privacy. Mr. Howell said he doubted his letter tipped the scales for Ms. Pruitt. A spokesman for Mr. Pruitt said that he and Mr. Howell had known each other for two decades and that “letters of recommendation are normal process for an application to law school.”

Well, it’s about time. We have been waiting for you. Welcome home for Father’s Days. Job well done. You are no longer on patrol.

Bill Tozer

Every mass shooter in our history, save one, was not raised by his biological father.

“But Dad doesn’t get a lot of guidance, either. In another study, this time from the journal Pediatrics, two University of Michigan researchers describe their difficulty finding parenting education programs aimed at fathers. “We … celebrate our fathers on Father’s Day,” write study authors Joyce Y. Lee and Shawna J. Lee. “However, we leave them with almost no resources for navigating the transition to fatherhood. This disparity in services is inevitably hurting not only fathers, but also their children.” Over time, conflict about raising the kids can put a strain on a relationship, too often leading to divorce and its consequences for those children — not just emotional and mental health issues, but risks even including a decreased chance of attaining a college degree.

Unfortunately, things may get worse for dear old Dad before they get better. Writer John Hawkins describes the rise of what’s considered “toxic masculinity,” noting, “We take a young man and kick his father out of his life, send him to school where he has mostly women teachers, barrage him with negative messages about masculinity, then turn him loose at college where we treat him like a guilty-until-proven-innocent rapist, and after all that, we blame ‘masculinity’ when he goes off the rails despite the fact that he spent a lifetime bathed in femininity. Unsurprisingly, the more women try to change masculinity, the more negative and toxic it actually becomes.”

Coast to coast

Bill Tozer

Suppose this one could go under Venezuela, Seattle, or Tidy Bowl. Short article touches on a Hodgepodge of topics previously discussed here on RR.
What’s appearing on the horizon? Ah, something old, something new, and something blue.

“Exactly what are these bold, transformative Democrats proposing?

At last Wednesday’s progressive pep rally, the main event revolved around the current pool of 2020 presidential hopefuls for the Democrats — U.S. Senators Elizabeth Warren (Massachusetts), Cory Booker (New Jersey), Bernie Sanders (Vermont), Kristen Gillibrand (New York) and Kamala Harris (California).

These politicians previewed issues that we should expect in the 2018 elections as well as the 2020 presidential cycle. Despite their passion, their platform was embarrassingly reflective of the mythical belief that government has its own money, can create jobs and is the institution that should, by default, replace all others that serve a civil society.”

"The New York Times wrote a rather lengthy article about it, though it showed up on page A-17. It received similarly “not prominent” coverage in other major papers. The Associated Press took a fairly deep dive on it, but you need to search around a bit on their website to find it."

One dead, 22 injured.

The Art All Night Trenton shooting isn’t of much interest to the majority of the press because it includes all the wrong sort of people for a hot story with a political hook. First of all, pretty much everyone involved with the shooting was black. There were rival gangs mixing it up at the festival. The cops even knew about it in advance because people were tipping them off about the gang presence. They had come and told the festival organizers they should shut down early because trouble was brewing. The organizers were in the process of doing that when the fireworks started.

The one shooter who is currently at room temperature, 33-year-old Tahaij Wells, had been out of prison on parole for all of four months for a previous murder. There were “multiple” gangs involved. The weapons of choice were almost entirely handguns so there was no chance to rail against “assault rifles.” (One suspect did have an extended magazine capable of holding more rounds than state law allows.) We’re not seeing any demands for information on the weapons used. Why? I’d like to know how many of those gang members were in possession of handguns they legally purchased after passing a background check. But nobody in the national press seems to be interested in telling that story either.

One dead, 22 injured.

The local leftys.....well you can't expect them to get worked up over every shooting!

Bill Tozer

@ 9:30 am
Thanks. Almost a media blackout. I dug around last night and found some local NJ outlet with some details. When I read that there were more people hanging around the outside of the Finger Painting Art Faire than inside, that there was an unusual (voluminous) amount of trash piling up outside and people gathering, I said gang banger time. Just like a drive by shooting, they couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn. 22 injured? What were they shooting at? The ground? Amateur night. :)

When I read that Little Hogg did not even hop on his bicycle and race to comfort the children like he did in Florida and Texas and.....I knew it was just Chicago time. Nothing to see here.

Da spin:
Less than 24 hours after the gunfire, Murphy -- a former Goldman Sachs banker who served as President Barack Obama's ambassador to Germany -- began calling for gun control without addressing the other circumstances involved in the crime.

"It's yet another reminder of the senseless gun violence, even having signed six stringent gun laws last week," Murphy said at a news conference Sunday following a service at Trenton's Galilee Baptist Church.

Hmmm. NJ Gov is former Obama ambassor to Germany? Well, that explains it all.

Paul Emery

Quote from Coulter. From 12:05 link

Coulter took her disdain to a deeper level.

“I completely agree with you that we need to disband the official Republican Party. That was the point you were making and I completely agree. I’m sorry Representative,” Coulter said, turning to Chaffetz.

“Hey, I quit, so,” Chaffetz said with a chuckle.

Then they put handcuffs on her & threw her in the police car.. I was thinking "what kind of person smokes near a gas pump?!" But being the nosey person that I am, I asked the cops what they were arresting her for...The cop looked me square in the eyes & said ... "WAVING A FIREARM!"

Giving them a pass is so team 0, remember this when you hear one of them talk about the Trump campaign.

Sen. James Risch, R-Idaho, asked about a “Russian Roulette” passage in which one of Daniel’s staff members, Daniel Prieto, recounted a staff meeting shortly after the cyber coordinator was ordered by Susan Rice, President Obama’s national security adviser, to stop his efforts and “stand down.” This order was in part because Rice feared the options would leak and “box the president in.”
“I was incredulous and in disbelief,” Prieto is quoted as saying in the book. “It took me a moment to process. In my head, I was like, did I hear that correctly?” Prieto told the authors he then spoke up, asking Daniel: “Why the hell are we standing down? Michael, can you help us understand?”

Pledge to vote for feminist women only. Don’t run for office. Don’t be in charge of anything. Step away from the power. We got this. Tozer at 7:46 - It cracks me up when when folks talk about Trump 'starting' a trade war with China. Trump is simply starting to fire back at a country that has been at war with us for decades. Tricky Dicky thought that 'free' trade with China would bring them around to our way of thinking re govt and society. It simply gave China entre' to our mass markets and our corrupt politicians. Remember Wen Ho Lee? Clinton got Chinese money and Lee walked. The Chinese abuse their own citizens far worse than what the lefties accuse the Trump admin of doing to illegals. But the lefties love the Chi-Coms. They're GREEN, because they promised at the Paris Climate Talks to increase their carbon footprint. Go figure.

,,, do you ever notice they always call the other side the elite, the elite? Why are they elite? I have a much better apartment than they do. I’m smarter than they are. I am richer they are. I became president and they didn’t. — Donal J Trump, June 19, 2018

Todd Juvinall

Yes Trump was doing a tongue in cheek about that. And as usual, the morons of the left don't get it.

Robert Cross

It seems as though every stupid thing trump says is tongue in cheek.. It is a good thing he is just joking, otherwise those who claim he has a multiple psychological disorders would have some ammunition to back their claim.

In the "apple doesn't fall far from the tree" category, trump's buddy Netanyahu's wife has been indicted for fraud. Birds of a feather, I guess. Maybe she was just joking.

Robert Cross

Speaking of crooked apples not falling far from the trump tree, what about Scott Pruitt being investigated for wasting taxpayer money and sending underlings on personal missions?

Bill Tozer

Change of pace....not really. Just another good column from Walter E. Williams, “Blind to Real Problems”

Dr. John McWhorter, professor of English and comparative literature at Columbia University, lamented that “victimology, separatism, and anti-intellectualism underlie the general black community’s response to all race-related issues,” adding that “these three thought patterns impede black advancement much more than racism; and dysfunctional inner cities, corporate glass ceilings, and black educational underachievement will persist until such thinking disappears.”

As for black politicians and civil-rights hustlers, Booker T. Washington long ago explained their agenda, writing: “There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.”

Todd Juvinall

Robert Cross consistently shows the readers his lack of IQ and humor. Trump uses self-deprecating humor a lot. And he uses his large ego a lot. I think regular people get him and that is why he fills those arenas. Hillary got 400 people and she had to bribe them to come listen. Trump gets ten thousand inside and another five outside. If anyone or any group is totally moronic it is the left

Pruitt is kicking the eco nuts nuts and they are all aflutter. Their pals in Congress on the left can't hack that he will dry up their grant money that gets laundered back to them via contributions. Sort of like what will happen with the unions. Anyway, if pruitt was not effective we would hear nothing. I think he is doing great!.

Bill Tozer

Something to think about.: Imagine, if you will, Starbucks closing it’s stores in Seattle due to liberal policies. Imagine a Seattle without a Starbucks.

“Tucked into his interview, Johnson made mention of the problems with running food service outlets in some of America’s biggest left-wing cities.

The closing stores are often in “major metro areas where increases in wage and occupancy and other regulatory requirements” are making them unprofitable, Johnson said. “Now, in a lot of ways, it’s middle America and the South that presents an opportunity.”

The inference is clear: large, liberal cities raising minimum wages have stifled growth, so Starbucks is beginning the process of fleeing the cities for the high growth, low wage south and rural areas of the nation where regulations are more friendly and exorbitant minimum wage laws are non-existent.”

So it is OK with Todd and his obviously double digit IQ, that Pruitt illegally spends tax dollars on personal and/or unnecessary expenditures and here I thought you pubbers were all about fiscal conservatism. I guess that only counts when it's democrats doing the spending, legal or otherwise. Does the term hypocrisy ring a bell?

,,,Robert don't burst Todd's bubble,,,he, like trumpski,,,believe they have 3 digit IQs,,,in reality they do,,,if you hold up 3 digits!!!

Bill Tozer

Geez Robert, you sound exactly like Punchy. Exactly. Because no one bothers to reply (or skips over your comment...I confess, I usually skip your comments)...that means that we here not only condone illegally spending tax dollars, we stand tall behind waste, fraud, and abuse. Wow. You done can up with that critical thunking all my your lonesome? Yes, we hate fiscal conservatism here, duh. Boy Einstein, you pulled back the curtain with that one and exposed us all. Yikes, the Emperor has no clothes.

Punchy sez: “I assume by your silence that you agree with me. Good, I am glad you agree with me.
Hey, hey, hey! There is a new law being proposed and nobody here is dropping everything to comment it on it. Let me try posting that again and again in case you guys missed it the first two times. Hmmm. Crickets. And I thought you conservatives were all about states rights and local control!! I demand you address this issue right now. Now.”

Hey Bobby Campbell, go play with your dried up old wrinkly warty mangina. Or, better yet, do as Punchy does and sacrifice your cucumber by putting it in your mouth. See, those Yoga classes did pay off You got your legal monies’s worth, by golly. A dog licks his balls because he can. Now, breath deep and stretcccccchhhhh. Good.

Yep, we stand up for waste, fraud, and abuse. No agrument here. You win!

Fakenews by the left may finally start to have a price in the real world -

re: DonB@4:38PM

The $PLC is a pure play in modern web-driven extortion rackets. I'll bet that they voted for Obama the second time.

From one of the PJ Media articles on the matter:

"Eventually, one runs out of cheeks."

Posted before?

A nice little story.

More missing in action from the lamestream fakenews machine -

The Washington Post, at least since its latest rebrand in February 2017, prides itself on supposedly illuminating the threats and dangers to American democracy and the nation’s values. While in the Trump era, WaPo’s reporters, columnists and editors have generally agreed that the man in the White House himself represents the most dire of threats.
Regardless of the accuracy of such a judgement, it is one a newspaper can hold and still remain honest and accurate. If that same paper has declared itself such an arbiter of the things threatening the country’s foundations, one would expect it to investigate all the controversies facing all facets of American society.
In the case of WaPo’s coverage, there exists one growing controversy that has remained conspicuously uncovered: the conditions of Amazon’s workplace. (RELATED: Trump Wants Washington Post To Register As A Lobbyist For Amazon)
Such conditions have been covered extensively in the mainstream press. A number of Amazon’s warehouse workforce has long complained about abusive conditions, with one reporter who went undercover as a warehouse worker for six months comparing it to a stint in prison.
“I’ve worked in warehouses before, but this was nothing like I had experienced. You don’t have proper breaks — by the time you get to the canteen, you only have 15 or 20 minutes for lunch, in a 10-1/2-hour working day. You don’t have time to eat properly to get a drink,” the writer, James Bloodworth, told Business Insider.

Them hits just keep on coming.

Now we know why Lois Learner is walking around free. The GOP were in on the trashing of Tea Party organizations. She was doing double duty.

MCCAIN WAS NO FRIEND TO THE TEA PARTY: Judicial Watch Obtains IRS Documents Revealing McCain’s Subcommittee Staff Director Urged IRS to Engage in “Financially Ruinous” Targeting.

The explosive exchange was contained in notes taken by IRS employees at an April 30, 2013, meeting between Kerner, Lerner, and other high-ranking IRS officials. Just ten days following the meeting, former IRS director of exempt organizations Lois Lerner admitted that the IRS had a policy of improperly and deliberately delaying applications for tax-exempt status from conservative non-profit groups.

Lerner and other IRS officials met with select top staffers from the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee in a “marathon” meeting to discuss concerns raised by both Sen. Carl Levin (D-MI) and Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) that the IRS was not reining in political advocacy groups in response to the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision. Senator McCain had been the chief sponsor of the McCain-Feingold Act and called the Citizens United decision, which overturned portions of the Act, one of the “worst decisions I have ever seen.”

In the full notes of an April 30 meeting, McCain’s high-ranking staffer Kerner recommends harassing non-profit groups until they are unable to continue operating. Kerner tells Lerner, Steve Miller, then chief of staff to IRS commissioner, Nikole Flax, and other IRS officials, “Maybe the solution is to audit so many that it is financially ruinous.” In response, Lerner responded that “it is her job to oversee it all.”

So it seems that, as suspected, the GOP establishment was on the same page as the Obama Administration here.
