Daily Quotes

For the record: “We have, in many ways, almost fallen victim to our own successes in health care. Vaccines work, and work so well, that the diseases they’re meant to prevent have faded from our collective memories. Instead of knowing children in our classes forever changed by polio, as parents, we fear side effects from the very treatments meant to spare our children from harm and danger. This false equivalency is ultimately leaving more babies and vulnerable people exposed and at risk, without protection from a vaccinated population around them.” —Holly Scheer

Alpha Jackass: “It’s a national disgrace that Trump sleeps in the White House instead of a federal prison cell, but it has been a while since I had any expectation that the special counsel Robert Mueller’s findings, many of which were finally released to the public on Thursday, could set things right.” —New York Times columnist Michelle Goldberg

Braying Jenny: “Congress should hold substantive hearings that build on the Mueller report and fill in its gaps, not jump straight to an up-or-down vote on impeachment. In 1998, the Republican-led House rushed to judgment. That was a mistake then and would be a mistake now. Watergate offers a better precedent.” —Hillary Clinton in an op-ed giving advice on following up to Mueller’s report (Sheerly by coincidence, we’re sure, Watergate was when Democrats ousted a Republican president.)

Collusion! “What’s clear from this administration, and what’s clear throughout the entirety of his business practices, is that they will lie, cheat, and steal. They’ll do anything to win. They have so eroded institutions of democracy. We have to be prepared for lying, cheating, and stealing. They have an approach to undermining our democracy that is shameful and that is why we are organizing everywhere. That is why we are preparing for every eventuality.” —DNC Chairman Tom Perez

Friendly fire: “I have a hard time seeing the [Bernie Sanders] coalition ultimately coming together.” —Pete Buttigieg

Gender bait: “I will have a woman running mate. To me it’s really clear that we do that.” —Sen. Cory Booker

“Not radical” doesn’t make it moral: “More than 30 countries around the world today such as Canada, South Africa and Finland allow prisoners to vote. This is not a radical idea. Every American citizen must be able to vote. Period.” —Sen. Bernie Sanders

Non compos mentis: “I truly believe that a child cannot consent to being on a diet the same way a child cannot consent to having sex. … I do not think it’s surprising that the man who shot up Christchurch, New Zealand, was also a fitness instructor. … Nazis really love this idea of an idealized body, and so it makes a lot of sense to me that a fitness instructor … might also think about an idealized body in this thin white supremacist way.” —"Fat Sex Therapist" Sonalee Rashatwar at St. Olaf College

Biden claimed — falsely — that Trump called neo-Nazis who marched in Charlottesville, Virginia, in August 2017 “very fine people” — when, in fact, Trump said the neo-Nazis “should be condemned totally,” as the transcript proves.

The former vice president was repeating a hoax perpetrated by Democrats and the mainstream media to cast Trump and his supporters as bigots who are, in Biden’s words, a “threat to this nation.”
This is the same Saul Alinsky divide-and-conquer nonsense the left has employed for years. It is a dishonest and shameful attempt to put 63 million people on their heels.
I am outraged.

I am outraged because eight years ago, I joined the most pro-Israel website in the world. Breitbart News was founded by two best friends, and my mentors, Andrew Breitbart and Larry Solov … both Jewish. These men created a site designed to call out the exact hypocrisy exhibited by Biden this morning. And the idea for the site was conceived — guess where? — in Israel.

“The irony must be particularly rich for Legutko. The students and faculty of Middlebury College provided a live demonstration that profoundly proved his treatise: only a narrow band of thought will be allowed in the brave new world being crafted in the name of “democracy.”

“Legutko never got the hearing he deserved at Middlebury. But his rejection proves the utter truth he writes, “In its essence, liberalism is unabashedly aggressive because it is determined to hunt down all non-liberal agents and ideas, which it treats as a threat to itself and to humanity.”

There he goes again....me thinks he doth protest too much. Coup, coup, coup.

“The Mueller report exposes the dossier claims as pure fiction. Yet in describing the actions of the Trump campaign figures the FBI accused, the report assiduously avoids any mention of the dossier or its allegations. Mr. Mueller refers to Mr. Steele and his work largely in passing, as part of the report’s description of how former FBI Director James Comey informed Mr. Trump of the dossier’s existence. The dossier is blandly described several times as “unverified allegations compiled” by Mr. Steele.

Once Mr. Mueller established that the dossier was a pack of lies, he should have investigated how it gained such currency at the highest levels of the FBI. Yet his report makes clear he had no interest in plumbing the antics of the bureau, which he led from 2001-13. Instead, he went out of his way to avoid the dossier and give cover to the FBI.

The special counsel had another, more pressing reason to look at the dossier: It fell within his core mission. Since its publication by BuzzFeed in January 2017, we’ve learned enough about Mr. Steele and Fusion GPS to wonder if the Russians used the dossier for their own malign purposes.”

Yup -

Once again our emotions and minds are being toyed with. The people who blackmailed the Yankees into dumping Smith’s version of the original God Bless America are not trying to clean up American racism. They’re sowing seeds of division and undermining American pride under the bogus pretense that they’re promoting racial harmony. No rational person of any color thinks eliminating a dead woman from Yankee Stadium improves race relations.

In fact, it does the opposite. It creates the impression of a ridiculous racial double standard. A long-dead white woman is held to higher standards than any millionaire or billionaire black rapper. You wanna hear an anti-black song? You don’t have to go back to the 1930s. Go listen to my ‘favorite’ rapper Dr. Dre’s ‘Rat-a-tat-tat.’ He brags about never hesitating to put an n-word on his back.

Re: Lunch bucket Joe enters the race.

Oh, his kickoff video was dark. Very dark, gloomy, pessimistic. Then he said he wants to make America like it used to be....like Make America Great Again? Well, plagiarism and Biden are synonymous.

But, what I find most troubling about Moe Biden is:

a) he let Republicans question Anita Hill after she made serious allegations against Clarance Thomas. How dare he let the accused’s side be heard. Blasphemy! Unlike the Kavanaugh theatrical display of the the reenactment of the Salem Witch Trials, the FBI did investigate the allegations since the FBI had jurisdiction because both the accused and the accuser were federal employees. The FBI’s probe uncovered some rather unflattering and disturbing new evidence which ran counter to Ms Hill’s truthfulness. A pattern of deceit. The Senate Judiciary Committee opted not to press charges on Ms. Hill when all was said and done.
How dare Joe Biden let people question her! He should have protected her!! Never question the accuser! Never.

b) Biden said that heads of state and foreign government officials have been calling him begging him to run. Hmmmm. That sounds like a violation of the Hatch Act. That sounds like Creepy Joe was colluding with foreign governments to effect the 2020 elections. That sounds like violations of the law. We need to get a special prosecutor on this right now and investigate foreign meddling in our elections.! No time to waste. Get a FISA warrant to “surveil” all his communications and everyone he has contact with and all members of his campaign.....going back years. And everyone who who has ever make contact with anyone who has made contact with anyone associated with Biden or his campaign.

The Pandora’s Box has been opened.

“The failure of the Arab states to come to the aid of the Palestinians is far from a new development. In fact, the Palestinians have long lamented that the Arab world has turned its back on them.

Less well understood is Abbas's readiness to sacrifice the livelihood of tens of thousands of families of public employees for the sake of supporting Palestinian terrorists. Abbas's remarks at the Arab League gathering in Cairo and other statements he has made in the past few months demonstrate his preference for the well-being of terrorists over the ability of hard-working employees to put bread on the table for their families.

“She said in other tweets regarding men: “I have a lot of sex with men for someone who condemns so vehemently giving men opportunities to disappoint me,” and “Cory Booker is the only man who is allowed to speak ever again thank you this has been a PSA.”

“In yet another example of statements that have caused some to worry about her ability to be the leader of positive relationships between genders at Notre Dame, she said in an Instagram post last year: “You can trust [women about their bodies]. If we wanted your ignorant, irrelevant opinions, we’d ask.”

“In defending herself against Morris’ concerns, Jarrett said at the meeting that “as director of Gender Relations, I would want to make sure that we have discussions about how to relate to other genders on campus in ways that don’t make people feel alienated or hurt or sad or scared,” the Observer reported.”

Practical politics or islamophobia? You know what the dems will say -

Macron singled out foreign religious funding, especially from Turkey, saying that it also contributed towards the problems with political Islam in France and vowed tighter controls on foreign funds coming into the country.

Last year, the French president had made overtures at reforming Islam in France that would see an increased French influence on the training of imams as well as an overhaul of the organisation structure of Muslim groups.

A study that was conducted as a part of a project advising Macron discovered that the radical form of Islam known as Salafism had an almost monopoly on the intellectual currents of Islam across the country.

French-Tunisian Islam expert Hakim el Karoui of the Montaigne Institute, who authored the report, recommended tackling foreign funding of imams to counter the phenomenon.

Rewriting history, again. From the Matthew Shepard case to Anita Hill to infinity and beyond..

“The issue is important, as the media and other partisans rewrite the historical record about Hill and her accusations. The widely watched hearings revealed inaccuracies in Hill’s various versions of events and ended with 58 percent of Americans believing Thomas and only 24 percent believing Hill. There was no gap between the sexes in the results. In the intervening years, activists have relentlessly attempted to change the narrative, writing fan fiction about Hill, bestowing honors on her, and asserting that her disputed allegations were credible.”

Greta is eleven years old and has gone two months without eating. Her heart rate and blood pressure show clear signs of starvation. She has stopped speaking to anyone but her parents and younger sister, Beata.

After years of depression, eating disorders, and anxiety attacks, she finally receives a medical diagnosis: Asperger’s syndrome, high-functioning autism, and OCD. She also suffers from selective mutism—which explains why she sometimes can’t speak to anyone outside her closest family. When she wants to tell a climate researcher that she plans a school strike on behalf of the environment, she speaks through her father. . . .

Greta is not alone in her mental suffering, according to the book. Her sister Beata, who was 12 when the book was written, lives with ADHD, Asperger’s syndrome, and OCD. She is prone to sudden outbursts of anger, during which she screams obscenities at her mother. What would normally be a 10-minute walk to dance class takes almost an hour because Beata insists on walking with her left foot in front, refuses to step on certain parts of the sidewalk, and demands that her mother walk the same way. She also insists that her mother wait outside during class—she isn’t allowed to move, even to go to the bathroom. The child still ends up weeping in her mother’s arms. . . .

A workplace strike shows company owners and management that workers are able to harm them economically. A school strike, on the other hand, constitutes a form of self-harm, undertaken to attract adult attention. And the global school strike for climate is led by a girl with a long and tragic history of self-harm to her own body.

It’s not “climate change” that is the cause of these problems, and activism isn’t a solution, just an outlet.

We seem to see a lot of acting out in the comments on this blog. I will let you decide who is in the need of some mental help.

Don Bessee

The 2020 election isn’t going to be close.

The first-quarter gross domestic product growth rate of 3.2 per cent sets up the first reality that will be noted in November 2020 because it telegraphs where the economy will be then: not in recession.

Recessions are charted when GDP growth is negative for two consecutive quarters or more. That can and has occurred in sudden fashion – financial panics don’t send “save the date” cards.
But the economy over which president Donald Trump is presiding is strong and getting stronger.
Innovation is accelerating, not declining. A recession before election day looks less and less likely by the day.

Small wonder then that Trump dominates the GOP with an approval rating above 80 per cent.
His administration’s deregulatory push is accelerating. More and more rule-of-law judges, disinclined to accept bureaucrats’ excuses for over-regulation, are being confirmed to the bench. Readiness levels in the US military have been renewed. America’s relationship with its strongest ally, Israel, is at its closest in decades. Meanwhile, the Democrats are facing a Hobbesian choice of Bernie Sanders or Kamala Harris, or former vice president Joe Biden.

Sanders and Harris are too far to the left, Sanders by a lot. Biden is far past his best years. The nice folk lower down are looking for other rewards. The nomination going to someone such as Pete Buttigieg, mayor of Indiana’s South Bend, is possible, I suppose, but what happens when the dog chasing the car catches it?

What was an entertaining and amusing aside suddenly becomes a commitment and, with that, well, comes a barrage of attacks. Where Trump deflects incoming with ease, the Democrats scatter, some limping away, some blown out of the picture.

This will come as news to #Resistance liberals, who are certain Trump will lose, because they dislike him so much. They still haven’t figured out that 40 percent of the country love him and at least another 10 percent are very much committed to considering the alternative in comparison to Trump, not reflexively voting against him.

That decile is doing very well in this economy. Unemployment remains incredibly low. The markets are soaring. That’s not a given for the fall of 2020, but better to be soaring than falling 18 months out.

On immigration, border security has always been a legitimate concern (and Immigration and Customs Enforcement a legitimate agency).

People don’t talk much about it as they decline to state anything that will see them labelled racist, but the reality of open borders is understood to be an unqualified disaster by most of the country, and most of the country understands the Democrats to be arguing for a de facto open-border system, if not a de jure one.

The Green New Deal sounds like a bad science-fair project where the smart kids got the colours to combine via an elaborate device and make all the “lava” flow black down the volcanoes’ sides and the village is destroyed.

Medicare-for-all is a professor Harold Hill production, headed for Iowa as was the Music Man.
There’s not a lot of serious thinking or talking among the Democrats about the People’s Republic of China and the “nine-dash line” in the South China Sea (which many may think is some sort of shorthand for their marks on the debate stage), or Huawei, which is just too complicated to try to debate in five-minute exchanges.

Senator Elizabeth Warren’s turn as Madame Defarge may even wake up some of the wealthy-woke to their peril. It’s a circus coming to a cable-news network near you soon.
Last week’s message from a booming economy should have rocked the Democratic field. Alas, the party seems collectively intent on poring over the Mueller report yet again in the hope that, somehow, someway, there’s something there.

But the probe is over. No collusion. No obstruction.

Democrats have to campaign on something else besides a great economy, rising values of savings, low unemployment across every demographic, clarity about allies and enemies abroad, and a rebuilding military.

It’s a tough needle to thread, condemning everything about Trump except all that he has accomplished that President Barack Obama couldn’t or wouldn’t.
Not just tough – it’s practically impossible.

Go pound sand.

“Cognizant of the new reality, Trump seems to be saying:

“These House investigations constitute a massive political assault, in collusion with a hostile media, to destroy my presidency.

“We do not intend to cooperate in our own destruction. We are not going to play our assigned role in this scripted farce. We will resist their subpoenas all the way to November 2020. Let the people then decide the fate and future of the Trump presidency — and that of Nancy Pelosi’s House.”........
‘Whatever may be said about the “deplorables,” they are not obtuse. They do not believe that people who call them racists, sexists, nativists and bigots are friends and merely colleagues of another party or persuasion.”

“The questions raised by the present state of our politics, which might fairly be described as an American civil war without arms, are these: How does a nation so divided stand united in the world?

“And if it cannot stand united in the world, how long does it remain a great nation?”

How The Big Mean Green Machine hurts the environment.

“Given the Greens’ intransigence, how does Britain generate electricity? It simply imports gas that was produced elsewhere, thus increasing CO2 emissions and outsourcing jobs and tax revenues to other countries. It also commits the ultimate environmental folly by burning “biomass,” i.e., low-quality trees from the southern U.S. that are shipped to Britain at considerable expense. I wrote about the biomass folly, which is imposed on Britain by environmentalists, here and here. The last link is especially informative if you are interested in the details of the biomass fiasco.”

Britain’s Greens want to substitute renewable energy sources for the natural gas that can be produced by fracking. But, as Ms. Engel explains, this simply can’t be done:

The irony, she says, is that by wrecking the shale gas industry, which the British Geological Survey says has the potential to supply Britain with gas for many decades, the Government is certain to increase emissions.

“If you look at energy use as a whole, including heating and transport, gas accounts for 40 per cent of the total. There is simply no way renewables can fill that gap at the moment. We get less than five per cent of our total energy from wind and only 0.5 per cent from solar.’

“Hence, she says, the inevitable consequence of killing the shale gas industry is that the quantity of gas burnt in UK homes, businesses and power stations imported from abroad will soar – and with it, the far bigger carbon footprint caused by the process of making liquified natural gas and transporting it here. Ms Engel says imported gas already costs £7 billion a year.

“I don’t think most environmentalists care at all about the consequences of the policies they advocate. Modern environmentalism is tribal virtue-signaling, nothing more. And the rest of us are stuck with the bill.”

Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein of Chabad in Poway described the 10- to 15-minute conversation with Trump as meaningful.

"He was just so comforting," Goldstein said at a press conference Sunday afternoon. "I’m really grateful to our president for taking the time and making that effort to share with us his comfort and consolation.”

Goldstein, 57, said he received the call at home and was amazed to hear the White House secretary on the line. It was his first conversation with a U.S. president, he said.

Re: The Poway shooting, politics, and criticism being a way one street.

It is tempting to blame the synagogue shooter on Ilhan Omar (D-Somalia)’s words and tweets about hooked nosed Jews and dollar signs. Blame the rhetoric. Blame that wack job’s words. Blame the anti-Semitism ingrained in the NYT and Democrat Party. Blame others. Make political hay. But, I can’t/won’t because I can only blame the shooter. Otherwise it would be like some drunk driver blaming the car. Or blaming Trump for Christchurch.

We criticize places, persons, and things all day long. But if people criticize AOC for politicalizing the shooting before the body was even cold, then that is wrong, hateful, and beyond the pale. Same with Ilhan Omar. Don’t go there. It’s racist, misogyny, anti-immigrant, Islamophobia, blah, blah, blah. Criticism is a one way street.

Anyway, once again the duration of the shooting lasted as long as it took for a second gun to arrive on the scene. Imagine if there were no guns at the synagogue. Horrible to even consider the death toll.

Back to criticism being a one way street, I do not find it surprising in the least that no NYT editor has been fired or the cacophony of cries rising to a fevered pitch for the editor’s head on a platter on 24/7 lame stream media be the headliner for another week.

There is only two options about the Poway shooting: Either Trump did it or the gun did it.

George Boardman has quite the anti-Trumpscreed today. These lefty types are so unintelligent it is scary.

Don Bessee

Its the economy stupid!

Robert Cross

speaking of unintelligent -- in the 'liar liar pants on fire' dept. trump, the liar in chief, just surpassed the 10,000 lies or misleading statements mark by hitting 10,111. The rate of lies has increased from 5 a day during the first 100 days in office to 23 falsehoods a day. From 4/25-27 trump belched out 171 false or misleading claim alone. How do you people sleep at night knowing you wholeheartedly support the greatest miscreant in presidential history? #sad. not to mention stupid beyond the belief of normal human beings. Yes, I know.. you all are the 'real' patriots, willing to throw out the constitution, the rule of law, and every other check and balance in our system of government to appease your trump addiction.. Yes indeed.. patriotism of the highest order, just like the nazis..

Bill Tozer

Bobbie Sue sez: “patriotism of the highest order, just like the nazis..”. How original, how creative, how fantabously Bobbie Sue.

“Crenshaw responded to the teen by saying: "If you have to call somebody a Nazi, it's a good indicator that you haven't thought through your argument very well."

The teen stormed off after making his remarks and being booed by the crowd.

"That was fun, at least we had a little bit of...but get more creative with your insults, man," Crenshaw added. "Like Nazi? C'mon."

Guess it’s harder to burn books nowadays when most everything is on-line. And the Leftinista press blames us Deplorables for killing comedy, roflmao. They certainly are a dark glum lot. No wonder nobody likes to be around them.

Daily Quotes for this beautiful Monday in the waning days of April, 2019

Daily Quotes for this Monday in the waning days of April, 2019..

The Gipper: “We are the showcase of the future. And it is within our power to mold that future — this year and for decades to come. It can be as grand and as great as we make it. No crisis is beyond the capacity of our people to solve; no challenge too great.” —Ronald Reagan

For the record: “Biden is claiming that he asked Obama not to endorse him. Call me skeptical. There’s no way Biden would have turned down Obama’s endorsement. If there is any truth to that story, it is most likely that Biden asked Obama not to endorse anyone at all, like Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Pete Buttigieg or Beto O'Rourke — all of whom are angling to be ‘the next Obama.’” —Gary Bauer

Belly laugh of the week: “Kamala Harris doesn’t seem to have the courage to concede that owning a handgun for protection is a bad idea. Instead, she has given voters a real choice: Back candidates who care enough about gun control to not own handguns, or support the only major Democratic contender who has one and won’t throw it away.” —Peter Funt in a USA Today op-ed titled, “Kamala Harris owns a handgun. That’s disqualifying for a 2020 Democrat in my book.”

Three thousand Americans died at the hands of Islamists. And you’re afraid of us? “I was probably [in] my second year [of] law school when 9/11 happened. And … I was really terrified of what was going to happen to my husband, who’s only a green-card holder at the time. I immediately called my brothers and told them to be very careful who you hang out with, telling my sisters, you know, just be real careful out there, and being really afraid of my fellow Americans.” —Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who is Muslim

The BIG Lie: “Family-planning clinics — Planned Parenthood, to be specific — in Texas is saving the lives of our fellow women, and it’s a life-and-death matter in this country.” —Beto O'Rourke

Hyper hypocrisy: “My heart is breaking after today’s deadly shooting at Chabad Congregation in San Diego — on the last day of Passover and 6 months to the day after the Tree of Life shooting. We as a nation must confront the terrifying rise of religious hate and violence. Love trumps hate. … Islamophobia and Anti-Semitism are two sides of the same bigoted coin. Let us stand together as Americans in rejecting hate!” —anti-Semite Rep. Ilhan Omar

And last… “Rep. Omar’s tweet condemns only ‘religious hate’ while the biggest increase is in crimes targeting Jews. This is hardly a full-throated condemnation of anti-Semitism, especially since the number of Muslims in America is increasing much more rapidly than the population of Jews, while the hate crimes against Jews are increasing far more rapidly than against Muslims.” —Steve Berman

And my favorite of last week....the crying judge. Nobody is above the law.

Scott O

Oh, Bobby, Bobby - "...willing to throw out the constitution, the rule of law, and every other check and balance in our system of government to appease your trump addiction..."
And Bobby can't come up with any examples of this hysteria.
How's the economy doing, Bobby?
The only addiction I see on RR are all the lefties with their 24/7 TDS. He lives in their head and laughs at them all day long. Poor lefties - you can hold your hands over your ears and stomp and scream, but the bad orange man is still there just laughing and laughing.

How do you people sleep at night knowing you wholeheartedly support the greatest miscreant in presidential history?

Quite well actually! The sweet lullaby of Roberta Cross plaintively bleating soothes me!

Yes, I know.. you all are the 'real' patriots, willing to throw out the constitution, the rule of law, and every other check and balance in our system of government to appease your trump addiction.. Yes indeed.. patriotism of the highest order, just like the nazis..

I don't know why you're here complaining to us Roberta…..all you guys had to do was nominate someone who could beat Trump…..you couldn't even manage to do that right, nominating instead someone who would have likely been, "the second greatest miscreant in presidential history".

Take an estrogen and a valium and chill…...

Bobbie 1131am

"the liar in chief, just surpassed the 10,000 lies or misleading statements mark"

Lies OR MISLEADING STATEMENTS? Can you tell the difference between an honestly held opinion and a lie/misleading statement?

Of course you can't. Most of the "lies" attributed to Trump have been hyperbole of a salesman ("it'll be the greatest healthcare in the world") or references to things like climate change as a hoax (is it a lie or misleading to call it a hoax if you believe it?) and other disagreements.

As I've said here a number of times, AGW isn't a hoax... but I don't tag people calling it a hoax with "liar" because they believe it, and hoax is easier to type than "bad groupthink science driven by capture of government funding mechanisms by insiders as foretold by Eisenhower in his Farewell Address (in the paragraphs following his warning of an industrial-military complex)" so I tend to give them a break most of the time.

If misleading statements are OK to count as a lie, were I to man a clicker during any news coverage of Obama in office, I'd be clicking away from the get-go. If his lips were moving, smarmy misleading statements were sure to follow.

Not to mention baldfaced lies like "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan".

Part of the issue may be that Trump (once known as the Blue Collar Billionaire) uses a simplified vocabulary in his public statements. I recall Giuliani, talking about interactions with Trump before the Donald started in politics, that he'd walk past Rudy at gatherings to talk to the construction workers who were there. His people, even though he could buy and sell the average construction worker a million times over. He likes them and they like him.

Walt, drive safely. Now put the phone down and remember which side of the road to drive on.

Canada is losing it. I'm friends with some Canadians and they are not happy about recent legal decisions. No kidding. A father speaking truthfully is guilty of 'violence'.
Money quote - "...and he continued to affirm publicly that his daughter is a biological female." Any scientific test would confirm this, but science is just so much 'old white man stuff'.
Remember - there's no 2A in Canada. They will be required to talk as the govt orders them to.

My my my.. don't we all have our panties in a bundle, The fact that you support a man with no moral character doesn't speak very highly of yourselves. The nazis were so patriotic that they believed a liar and a con man who told them he was going to make Germany great again...ring any bells?

No bells ringing except between your ears, Bobbie 533pm

So, all you have is a single weak Hitler parallel? That's it?

Hitler! Hitler! Hitler!

Tell you what, when Bad Orange Man starts agreeing with your side that guns need thinning out, that some books are not worthy of being read, if he starts rounding up ANYONE without legal cause or doubles tax rates. we'll speak again.

How's this for a Biden quote?
"What has happened is that there are people who, for reasons best known to themselves, have voted for maintaining division in our country."

Well.... it's Neil Kinnock, not Joe Biden, but who can tell the difference? Joe can't!

Those actions and policies sure sound like the national socialists in the real world, not just rhetorically.

Here is why you guys post muller are going even crazier than ever with the socialist TDS clown car -

Don Bessee

Ooopsi cut and paste, copy error. Here it is with some bonus text -

Following another spate of positive economic news — and without a cohesive economic message of their own — many Democrats are starting to fear he might. Anxiety on the left reached new heights last week, with the government reporting that the nation’s economy had grown at an unexpectedly fast pace in the first quarter of the year. While Trump took credit for the surging economy, Democratic presidential contenders were immersing themselves in the Mueller report and debating whether incarcerated felons should be allowed to vote.

mike 603pm

"And this is the president you want to see re-elected in 2020?"

Well, that is heavily dependent upon who else is on the ballot. There are GOP wet dreams of a 49 state sweep for the GOP... in that scenario, the one state not on board is probably the formerly safe and sane Golden State of California. Given there's probably no chance of California's electors not all going to the DEM, I remain completely free to once again vote for whoever takes the Libertarian presidential nod, and not have to stress out over the lesser of two evils bargain.

Except... would a win by Bernie/Harris/Frau Bluecher/Buttigig/etc or Trump be more likely to spur actual hostilities to break out? I think a case can be made for both sides.
