Why solar and wind will never replace fossil fuels and nuclear as a primary energy source.

The "New Energy Economy": An Exercise in Magical Thinking

“Solar technologies have improved greatly and will continue to become cheaper and more efficient. But the era of 10-fold gains is over. The physics boundary for silicon photovoltaic (PV) cells, the Shockley-Queisser Limit, is a maximum conversion of 34% of photons into electrons; the best commercial PV technology today exceeds 26%.

“Wind power technology has also improved greatly, but here, too, no 10-fold gains are left. The physics boundary for a wind turbine, the Betz Limit, is a maximum capture of 60% of kinetic energy in moving air; commercial turbines today exceed 40%.

“The annual output of Tesla’s Gigafactory, the world’s largest battery factory, could store three minutes’ worth of annual U.S. electricity demand. It would require 1,000 years of production to make enough batteries for two days’ worth of U.S. electricity demand. Meanwhile, 50–100 pounds of materials are mined, moved, and processed for every pound of battery produced.“

Green” energy is the 21st century’s most egregious instance of cronyism. A great deal of money is being made on account of government mandates and subsidies, while consumers and electricity rate payers are needlessly paying inflated bills.

“AOC’s Chief of Staff Admits the Green New Deal Is Not about Climate Change”

The interesting thing about the Green New Deal, is it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all,” Chakrabarti said to Inslee’s climate director, Sam Ricketts, according to a Washington Post reporter who attended the meeting for a profile published Wednesday.

“Do you guys think of it as a climate thing?” Because we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing,” he added.

Abstract. InthispaperwewillprovethatGCM-modelsusedinIPCCreport AR5 fail to calculate the influences of the low cloud cover changes on the global temperature. That is why those models give a very small natural temperature change leaving a very large change for the contribution of the greenhouse gases in the observed temperature. This is the reason why IPCC has to use a very large sensitivity to compensate a too small natural component. Further, they have to leave out the strong negative feedback due to the clouds in order to magnify the sensitivity. In addition, this paper proves that the changes in the low cloud cover fraction practically control the global temperature.

Cosmic rays influence the development of low clouds. This paper supports the Svensmark/Shaviv cosmoclimatology via cosmic rays.

What's that noise? Sounds like trolls sniffling....

Yes, the paper by Kauppinen & Malmi (physicists from Finland) indirectly supports the cosmoclimatological views of the usual suspects. I might dig out the previous papers where they derive the *very* low CO2 climate sensitivity, just .24C for a doubling.

That's much less than Shaviv's estimate of 1.25C, and very much less than the 2 to 4.5C for a doubling used on faith by the IPCC types.

Let's just say that between the truly laughable 4.5C from delusional IPCC senior scientists and the 0.24C by the physicist Finns from the Univ. of Turku, I'd place a bet on the Finns. The minimum CO2 sensitivity required for the scary tipping points (positive feedback warming events) is 2 degrees for a doubling of CO2 and that isn't happening in any paper whose authors are competent in thermal physics.

Remember in early March when AOC ripped critics of the GND with “I’m the Boss — How About That?”. A recent smear by Pelline of Russ... "I noticed that Russ — whose science teacher is a former Chico TV weatherman who attended meteorology classes at Purdue but never even got a degree — is weighing in as an “intellect.” Like no name “fish,” Russ — who at least has the courage to sign his name — also is an out-of-towner, leaving his sidekick Rebane to converse electronically with his few disciples. Small towns are a hoot!"

Looking at Watts' wiki biography and looking at dates, Watts attended Purdue for a couple years and bailed for a broadcast job. In other words... after taking several semesters of hardcore mathematics, engineering and meteorology, he dropped out and took a job that would be easier than the paper chase and would pay him rather than the other way around.

There is Nothing wrong with the path Watts took and Pelline is ignoring the reality of Watts' website... it
isn't Watts pontificating about climate science, it's Watts postings of science like the above from Kauppinen & Malmi.

Pelline still thinks that "engineering calculus" is the name of a class he took at Cal. He's hopeless.
Here's ten questions that all parents might poder:
Here are ten questions to help assess your involvement in their lives:

Am I pushy versus encouraging?
Am I trying to control their every decision?
Do I focus on my own goals and model for them ways to achieve dreams and desires?
Am I saying “we” instead of “you” when my child accomplishes something?
Am I more worried about my child’s success than my child is?
Is being the best or winning more important than doing his or her best?
Am I pushing my child in a direction he or she doesn’t really want to go?
Does my child have activities apart from me or is my life completely entwined with my child?
Am I impatient with my child’s development of a skill or talent?
When he or she doesn’t take top honors or first place, am I secretly angry or upset?

If you said, yes, to any of these, perhaps you are living through your child’s successes.

While I've a great deal of pride in the achievements my son has had in life, I can clearly say my answers to all of the ten questions are NO, and I suspect Jeff P can answer all of them in the affirmative.

His latest posting is a detailing of his kid's summer camp where they pretend to be undergrad science students, listening to lectures from PhD's but hobnobbing with high school teachers and the occasional undergrad. He quotes mostly from a newsletter sent to parents hoping their kids will get something out of the experience. Maybe a better chance of getting into the college of their parent's choice.

I see your link has half a story. Typical.

“A shouting match developed between White House Playboy correspondent and CNN analyst Brian Karem and Sebastian Gorka, a conservative broadcaster and former White House aide to Trump

“Playboy's White House correspondent Brian Karem, who doubles as a CNN political analyst, started the melee by telling the conservatives that they were 'a group of people that are eager for demonic possession.'

You are a journalist, right?' Gorka shouted from across the lawn.

Come on over here and talk to me, brother,' Karem responded. 'We can go outside and have a long conversation.'

Gorka baited him, announcing as reporters looked on that Karen was 'threatening me now in the White House! You're threatening me in the Rose Garden.'

Gorka - who has said he was once a part-time British soldier - steamed across the Rose Garden.

By now firmly in Karem's face, he boomed: 'You're a punk! You're not a journalist! You're a punk!'

'Go home!' Karem shot back. 'Hey Gorka! Get a job!'.

“Just for the record,' one social media influencer sniped, 'he'd kick your punk ass.'

“Among those who captured it were Jim Hanson of the Security Studies Group.

“Karem is best known for berating former White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders in a televised 2018 exchange about Trump's family separation policy at the border.

“On Thursday Karem appeared ready to explode again until a Secret Service agent intercepted him.

“Another activist - Brandon Tatum, a black conservative blogger - jawed at Karem minutes later, saying he had 'threatened Gorka just a minute ago. You told him to go outside.'

'I told him I would talk to him,' the CNN personality responded. 'I said I would talk to him. I didn't threaten him. I'm standing right here! ... I didn't threaten to kick his butt.'

'Everybody knows what that means,' Tatum shot back. It's an embarrassment.'

'Yes you are,' Karem countered.

“Gorka later said in a statement to right-wing news website the Daily Caller: 'Brian Karem is a washed up has-been who allegedly writes for a soft-porn magazine and who verbally abused Sarah Huckabee Sanders for years. Someone had to take him on.'

For the record, Gorka was a boy in 1955 when his father grabbed him by the hand and fled in the the middle of the Right from Communist Hungary. They ended up in Britain and Gorka rose to be a foreign policy and defense expert to becoming an advisor to the President of the United States.

And the Lefties always shout, “Go home.” Sick people do sick things.

Army War College surrenders.

“Ibrahim had planned to lecture on his book at the Army War College on June 19. In a new installment of an old story, however, his lecture was canceled due to “CAIR-induced hysteria” presenting him—a native Arabic speaker of Egyptian/Middle Eastern descent—as a “racist” and “white nationalist” who is out to incite American soldiers to murder Muslims......

Quotable quote: “The grand lesson of this entire debacle should be disheartening for all who care about this nation. If an ethnic Egyptian and native speaker of Arabic, with verifiable credentials, whose extended relatives continue to be persecuted because they are Christian, can be characterized by Islamist groups with terror links as a ‘racist’ and ‘white nationalist’; and if, of all places, the U.S. Army War College, as opposed to the average ‘liberal’ college, can so easily capitulate to such patently deceptive tactics—the true motives of which are to keep the actual and troubling history between Islam and the West concealed from the military—know that the hour is late indeed.”

“JOHN adds: Ibrahim is one of the few people who systematically keeps track of, and tries to publicize, the worldwide persecution of Christians. I have frequently quoted his columns on that topic here. Maybe showing concern about the violent persecution of Christians (most of them non-white) is what it means to be a “white nationalist” these days.”

"Our officers are brave men and women who put their lives on the line for the community each day. We ask that instead of delivering pizza, the mayor deliver some respect for what police officers do and drop the politics."

The video, published on Friday, included pictures of the pizza boxes that Buttigieg sent to the police. "If this was a lame attempt to apologize to South Bend police officers, it didn't go over very well," Mills said.

What, the 9th did WHAT! -

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled for the Trump administration Friday in a case concerning the withholding of federal funds for local policing from so-called sanctuary cities.
A three-judge panel of the court ruled 2–1 that the Justice Department could deny Community Oriented Policing Services grants to cities and states that have “sanctuary” policies prohibiting law-enforcement cooperation with federal immigration authorities.

Los Angeles, a sanctuary city, sued the Justice Department when it was denied a $3 million grant under the administration’s policy. The Ninth Circuit’s ruling reversed the decision of a California court in that suit.

“The panel rejected Los Angeles’s argument that DOJ’s practice of giving additional consideration to applicants that choose to further the two specified federal goals violated the Constitution’s Spending Clause,” Judge Sandra Ikuta wrote for the majority. “The panel held that DOJ did not exceed its statutory authority in awarding bonus points to applicants that selected the illegal immigration focus area or that agreed to the Certification.”

Buck asks, “What’s the downside of illegal immigration?”

Sloppy Joe gets called out. Oh, c’mon man.

Biden seems caught in a time warp; a relic from decades ago now forced to endure the social-justice mob of the 21st Century. We certainly can’t feel bad for him, since he and the Obama administration helped foment the current outrage culture by encouraging and supporting campus radicals (or, at the very least, doing nothing to teach them civility and sanity).

Biden has always been running afoul of current political correctness, but until recently, he was never held accountable by the same left-wing media that finds racist “dog whistles” in nearly everything Republicans say.

But Biden is now receiving that treatment. Biden, who speaks in a down-to-earth manner, sometimes says “c’mon man” to emphasize a point about something he finds ridiculous. Years ago, Internet feminist scolds informed us that saying “guys,” is sexist, and now Internet scolds have determined that “c’mon man” is also sexist.

Last week, New York Times opinion columnist Charles Blow took Biden to task for his “bro-iness,” writing that Biden used “a rhetorical device that men often use among themselves, in locker rooms and barbershops, to recognize, register and reinforce masculinity.”

Last Saturday, The Washington Post ran an entire article about Biden’s use of the phrase, claiming that it “can quickly signal dismissiveness, annoyance, sarcasm or a certain willingness to use words that seem gendered, none of which are sure winners for a candidate trying to attract voters.”

At least the Post noted what almost everyone except the most outraged few hear when Biden says “c’mon man” – that he is a “folksy” plainspoken politician trying to represent the “everyman.”

Watch out Joe, the drunk lesbians are coming for you, bitch.

In the birds of a feather dept: It seems that child rapist and trump buddy Jeffery Epstein was a math and science teacher at an exclusive private school, the Dalton School, in New York City for two years. Epstein was a 20-year-old college dropout when hired at the school where it was said that teacher/student sexual relationships were treated with a wink and a nod. Epstein was hired by school headmaster Donald Barr. Yep, you guessed it. Donald Barr is the father of Attorney General William Barr who is in charge of Epstein's prosecution in federal court for child trafficking. It is just a small world isn't it.

The shameless pandering of a sinking candidacy.

“Even at its peak, the Buttigieg campaign faced a huge problem — lack of support from African-Americans. One poll I saw had him at zero percent among this cohort. You can’t make a credible run at the Democratic nomination for president with zero percent black support.”.....

“Buttigieg has responded to his woes by shamelessly pandering to African-Americans. On the theory that desperate times call for desperate measures, he has proposed a “Marshall Plan” for black Americans. He calls it the “Douglass Plan.”

“The desperate times that hatched this desperate measure are Buttigieg’s electoral woes, not the status of black Americans which, by the way, is improving under President Trump. If the Douglass Plan were other than a response to Buttigieg’s lack of popularity among blacks, he would have offered it at the outset of his campaign, not only after the campaign hit the skids.

“The premise of Buttigieg’s plan is that it’s white America’s fault that blacks aren’t faring as well as other Americans — e.g., that blacks make up a wildly disproportionate number of the prison population. The notion that black behavior has anything to do with the various disparities is rejected sub silentio.

“Buttigieg apparently believes that it’s racist even to moot this possibility. He hurls the words “racism” and “racist” around the way Barack Obama did with “hope and change.”

It was Ann Coulter back in the day sounding the alarms about Epstein and interviewing witnesses. That June 17 cocaine bust was big national news last month....or in Rock Humper’s feeble mind, “in the past three days”. Biggest cocaine bust in US history. Good job.
What the feeble minded forgot to mention is that the majority of the heroin entering the US comes across the Southern Border. Same with fentanyl. We have a heroin and opiate crisis going on domestically. The Heroin Opiate Crisis has been in the New for a couple of years now. The Opiate Overdose Crisis is taking too many of our young people. It’s tragic. It’s an epidemic, a National Epidemic. Devastates whole communities and is killing our children.

It’s not the ones who turn themselves waiting around wandering for the Border Patrol to pick their diseased bodies up, it’s the ones who avoid being catch breaking into our country that concern me most. There is a reason they don’t want to be caught. Them are the scum of the earth. They peddle death to our youth.

Hmmm. Looks like the cocaine wars are starting to re-emerge. Must be a sign of a growing robust economy. Rich man’s candy. Dancing like it was 1986. Heroin is for the junkies leaving piles of needles and poop in Democrat controlled Sanctuary Cities and now Starbucks.

Conspiracy theories.

I am stuck by two things. What Ann Coulter railed about (Epstein and blackmail years ago) and the death of Andrew Breitbart, a man who helped The Huffington Post and The Drudge Report in their early stages before launching his own site. Anyway, everyone close to Andrew Breitbart said he was working on a big Pediphile scandal and had uncovered evidence until he collapsed from heart failure.

Just a conspiracy theory but a fun reads Personally, I think we will never know. There was a reason the offices of the Southern District of Miami was flooded with interference and pressure back then. Reminiscent of the NYPD seeing a hundred thousand HRC e-mails on Weiner’s laptop and having the FBI sit on it until the NYPD threatened to go public, but a hundred times worse.
Anyway....it’s odd that not one single investor or financier has ever emerged saying, “Epstein is a great hedge fund manager”. Not one and this is actually the third Epstein Investigation.

“Other famous names in Epstein's "little black book" include Tony Blair, Naomi Campbell, Dustin Hoffman, Michael Bloomberg, and Richard Branson. According to (accuser) Giuffre, Epstein actually wired his mansion, where he often received his friends and other guests, with cameras. He then secretly recorded orgies they had with underage girls, after which he blackmailed them. Or so Giuffre says.” Vanity Fair

It would his death sentence if he did or even hinted about spilling the beans. Odd, with all the TDS fakenews talk of Putin blackmailing Trump, looks like HRC was the one open to blackmail, lol.

Good thing Trump tossed Epstein out of Mar-a-largo the second a staffer from the spa told Citizen Trump that Jeffie made inappropriate advances on a girl. Good job, Trump.

“Jeffrey Epstein was not somebody that I respected. I threw him out. In fact I think the great James Patterson, who’s a member of Mar-a-Lago, made a statement yesterday, that many years ago I threw him out. I’m not a fan of Jeffrey Epstein."

Yes, thousands of pounds of opiates and synthetic opiates are flowing across our border . . . at points of entry. How many semis, submarines, container vessels, or air craft will a wall stop?
The comparative amount humped across the the desert on Juan Valdez's mule is minuscule by comparison of what already simply goes around the wall or through POE. The wall is, and always has been, simply a monument to Trump, by Trump, for Trump. Will it help? Of course it will. Will it be 30 billion dollars worth of help (plus the associated social and environmental costs)? To those gathered on the Rose Garden lawn, Trump remarked:

“At the Social Media Summit, Trump brought Diamond and Silk, two black supporters big on social media, up to the podium and gave them a hug. He credited first lady Melania Trump for discovering them. He also gave Villa a shout-out for her patriotic outfit.

"On behalf of the nation it’s very important what you’re doing," he told the bloggers, YouTubers, Twitter users, and other attendees, adding that they are "getting the honest word out."

From aAV Woman’s 9:57 link, Moi found this.

“But emotions can be like an addiction. The only way to hold a viewer’s attention is to continually ratchet up the emotional stakes. It’s not enough to connect passionately to a picture or a video clip; the audience also expects a fierce attachment to news anchors and reporters — they want to see journalists emote, which is embraced as a more reliable truth than the facts and figures being reported.

“Media analysts refer to this as the “post-literate” society, where words matter less and images are our main “language,” the most effective way for humans to communicate.

“In a way, we’ve been here before: Call it “pre-literate” America, at the beginnings of mass communication more than century ago. Back then, vast sections of the populace, from rural areas to immigrant-swelled cities, had at best a basic grasp of reading. In that culture, “yellow journalism” thrived. Newspapers relied on simple sentences, bold headlines and lots of big photos. The Hearst and Pulitzer chains competed for emotion-driven stories like crime sprees and sex scandals. Their papers were often aligned with a political party (Pulitzer the Democrats, Hearst the Republicans) and each accused the other of exaggeration and sensationalism — in other words, “fake news.”

RockH 1200pm - Your point is well taken. However, walls have proven cost-effective to stop their transit by all manner of people and contraband. They continue to do so today all over the world. Just because most(?) of the drugs are imported surreptitiously by sea and legal entry points doesn't mean that the remainder stopped by physical barriers should be ignored. But the main reason for 'the wall' is to stop the ease of border crossings by the thousands of illegals invited by our Democrats to come and enjoy America's largess. Cutting down that traffic will save all the required billions to build and maintain such physical barriers.

Bill Tozer

60% of the illegals here came over by crossing by land. The other 40% are lying sacks of shit who purposely overstayed their VISAs. Just because, like speeders driving 100 mph that don’t get caught, Rock thinks we should tear down all traffic control signs. See, speed limit signs don’t work.

What needs to be answered by the Left is what to do with 4,000 impoverished, illiterate, uneducated and perhaps diseased foreign nationals who arrive daily and are put in screening centers (detention centers) designed for a 1,000 a day? Not 4,000 a month, not 4,000 a week, but 4,000 a day everyday with absolutely no end in sight. In fact the problem is getting worse as we are having 5,000 a day days lately. Pushing a million in the last 6 months alone. The levies have been breached and now the sides are getting ready to fall. The leaks are now big holes. Really to collapse, Burst.

All the Leftinistas, Socialists, Communists, Global World Orderists, and anarchists offer is to tear down the detention facilities, decriminalized illegal entry, provide free health care for them, food stamps, and Social Security through the back door. Yeah, that will really deter them. Every day, day in and day out, as far as the eye can see....there will be no stopping them and the flood will only get wider. Soon we will be talking about 10,000 a day floods, each day, everyday. Can our County handle just one day or those caught?

The Left say they are not for Open Borders (except Bernie), yet decry any policy that might slow the wall of floodwaters washing over us. They say they are not for wide open borders, yet push for de facto open borders. They only thing they really want to do is pour billions into taking care of them and giving them the right to vote.

The whole concept of citizenship is a anathema to the Lefties. They want everybody classified as a resident. That makes us all legal and the same.

If the Wall stops 20% from not using a port of entry, it already pays for itself. Then, their is the question of fairness, i e., line jumpers. Friggin scum, self centered a-holes. That is what I think of line jumpers. No cuts.

Yet, the whole concept of citizenship is fingers on the blackboard to the Lefties.

“We concluded that in order to create a more welcoming environment to a diverse community we’re going to forgo saying the Pledge of Allegiance before every meeting,” Council Member Tim Brausen said ahead of the vote.”

Council member Anne Mavity, who sponsored the rules change, told KARE 11 that she didn’t feel saying the pledge was necessary, especially for non-citizens.

"Not everyone who does business with the city or has a conversation is a citizen," she said. “They certainly don't need to come into city council chambers and pledge their allegiance to our country in order to tell us what their input is about a sidewalk in front of their home.”

Bottomline: If The Resistance to Reason get their way, there is NO END in sight. And it will only get worse by the year, decade, end of time.

Police said the man caused a vehicle to catch fire and that he attempted to ignite a large propane tank and set buildings on fire. Police said that besides the rifle, he had a satchel and flares.
Police said officers called out to the man, and shots were fired.
Cool said all four officers fired their weapons, but she didn't have specific details of what took place. She said the officers weren't wearing body cameras, but the area is covered by surveillance cameras from the detention center. She said she didn't know if the man fired at the officers.

Quotable quote: “Have you ever noticed Antifa is never there when we have a bikers’ rally?” Donald J.Trump

“Some weeks an obvious theme suggests itself. Then there are weeks like this when everything seems to be spinning out of control. A leftist Democrats accuses a powerful white politician of being a racist. Ho-hum—except the person being accused is Nancy Pelosi! Cue schadenfreude music, and pass the popcorn. Meanwhile, Bill Clinton is back in the news again, and for the same reason he usually gets back into the news. He has more bimbo eruptions than California has earthquake aftershocks.”

Prices for goods in the U.S. dropped 0.4 percent in June even as tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese imports rose from 10 percent to 25 percent, the Labor Department said Friday. Excluding the volatile food and energy categories, prices were unchanged from the prior month.

So who is paying for the tariffs? We know the U.S. government has collected billions in tariffs, so it is clear that someone is footing the bill. But keep in mind that when journalists and lobbyists claim, “tariffs are taxes on consumers,” this is inaccurate.

Tariffs are taxes, to be sure. But unlike a sales tax or a gas tax, consumers do not directly pay any tariffs. Tariffs are paid by importers, often large U.S. companies that are importing from their own foreign subsidiaries or foreign contractors. But businesses cannot raise their prices just because their costs or taxes go up. Sometimes they have to absorb the costs.

"Top Democrats are quietly circulating a poll from May showing swing state voters are tying New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s brand of progressive liberalism with the mainstream Democratic Party, Axios reported Sunday.

Those distributing the poll say swing voters know and dislike socialism, with some operatives warning the connection could cost the Democratic Party the House and the presidency. One operative lamented the over-sized amount of media coverage Ocasio-Cortez and her progressive colleagues are attracting.

“If all voters hear about is AOC, it could put the [House] majority at risk,” a top Democrat involved in 2020 congressional races told Axios, addressing the poll’s details. “[S]he’s getting all the news and defining everyone else’s races.” The poll included 1,003 likely voters who are white and have two years or less of college education.

No y’all. No one thinks the water could rise to more than 20 feet.

Thus far, though, the Washington Post failed the most spectacularly, publishing a brazenly false story that suggests some sort of mass exodus is currently underway. Their story was so egregious that it merited a response from the City of New Orleans

"I'm not a racist!" so says Trump. Yet he tells three American born women in Congress to go back to their countries.
Just like right here, "I'm not a racist". Better redefine racism in your search for picture perfect words.

Its just what they are -

An additional flashpoint has been AOC’s chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabarti. A former Silicon Valley tech executive with plenty of access to money and organizing mojo—he helped found two activist groups, Justice Democrats and Brand New Congress—Chakrabarti is widely seen as the guiding force behind’s AOC’s rise. And yet he seems to seek out controversy all on his own as well; he was seen recently wearing a tee shirt emblazoned with the image of Subhas Chandra Bose, the dissident Indian nationalist who became a Nazi collaborator during World War Two. (Perhaps now we have a better sense as to why AOC seems to have such a tin ear about the Holocaust.)

And yet, extreme as he might be, Chakrabarti can’t be dismissed—at least not by Democrats. Why? Because he and his hard-left pals have proven that they can win contested party primaries. It’s well remembered that AOC came out of nowhere to win an upset victory in New York City last year, and yet, in fact, all members of the Squad were insurgents—none were the choice of their local party establishment. And yet they each won, and now they’re all in Congress, supported by legions of donors and activists.

Another floater at the river. The pre-season board of how many drownings at the South Yuba Park in 2019 had the over/under at six. I waited until it dropped to five and went with the over. That makes three floaters, half way there. Easy peasy. I should have quadrupled my bet. You COJ are losers. We are out of here.

Todd Juvinall

Those three or four broads are racists. Trump is not. If you have a brain what Trump was saying if you think this place is bad go back to your ancestral country and fix it then come tell us how you did it. Pretty simple to understand.

That's right rocks in the cabasa,, The elected America haters should go back to where the grass is greener as they see it.
Don't like it here? Hit the road! Don't turn America into the shithole you used to call home.(or identify with)
That ain't racist.

Good examples above of how progressives use 'racist' to brand their political opponents. I wonder if they can define racism, since their use of it requires no real definition - people are racists simply because they say so. Here's mine -

Well,, we DO have KKKeachie. Tell us all about it Dougy.
Your no real fan of Jews either.

Your country of birth is slowly becoming a shithole. Look what the libs did to our education system. Then look at every major city controlled by the libs. Simply look around. Even across the Pond, London is now as much as a 3rd World city as it is an English city. It’s not all black and white, but look around.

I see, scanning in various points across the fruited plains, places that are resembling shitholes, are becoming shitholes, and some as truly shitholes.

The Dems are turning this country into one big shithole on so many levels in so many areas. The frog in the slowly heating water.

What the libs fail to grasp is the welfare state they have spent decades nurturing and developing is threatened at its very foundations by the LAWLESSNESS of their de facto open borders advocacy. Someday they may see this.
But by then it will be too late for us all.

And, as I have been warning, the children will turn on their elders, the students will turn on their professors, the biggest cheerleaders and mentors of the Young Turks will be led to the slaughter by those they taught so well. The word “liberal” has become a dirty word by the Left in front of your very eyes, yet you fail to see? Progressives are next to be marched by the Lefties up against the Wall.

“This new breed of Democrats are the first elected after a lifetime of being inundated with liberal grievance propaganda. What was created to destroy the Republican Party is now metastasizing within the body that birthed it."
--@derekahunter 7/14/19

I just don’t understand this need by the Lefties to cultivate an affinity with 3rd World counties to such a degree they openly promote turning the place of our birth into one shithole resembling a 3rd World country with all its problems. It’s beyond me.

Appeasement is in their dna -

JERUSALEM, July 15 (Reuters) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned a European Union response on Monday to Iran's breaches of nuclear limitations, saying it recalled failed diplomacy with Nazi Germany ahead of World War Two.

"(It) reminds me of the European appeasement of the 1930s," Netanyahu said in a video statement after EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said none of the parties to a 2015 nuclear deal with Iran saw its increased uranium enrichment as "significant non-compliance".

"Then, too, there were those who stuck their head in the sand and did not see the approaching danger," said Netanyahu, who has often cast Iran's nuclear projects as a mortal menace to Israel and the wider world. Iran denies seeking a nuclear bomb.

Just in case you forgot, Trump promised to announce a new health care system by July 16. That's tomorrow readers. Here's a quote from June 16.

"But Trump threw the issue back at them in an interview with ABC News that aired Sunday, saying his administration will unveil “something terrific” to overhaul the nation’s health care system “in a month.” He argued that action is needed because “ObamaCare has been a disaster.”

Todd Juvinall

He did. Free market capitalism. Where have you been? Denmark?

Robert Cross

Scotto. 11:56--'worker owned cooperatives' means that the company stock is owned by the people who actually work at a facility, whether they're the janitor or the CEO, they all have equity and one vote. Many companies already have stock sharing plans. This is no different except it cuts out investors, holding companies, hedge funds, and other stockholders who are not part of the day to day operations an are just in it for the money. These are the people largely responsible for such innovative money making schemes as downsizing, off-shoring, hostile takeovers, cannabalizing, and other actions that have resulted in most of the loss of American jobs. You ever notice that every time a company announces layoffs their stock goes up? Why? Because cost cuts means greater profits for investors and fuck the working folks who lost their jobs because of it.

Bill Tozer

Scott O @ 12:02 pm

If only the unhinged and those responsible for destroying our formerly top rated CA public school system would apologize for what they did to our education system..or just read one sentence before Trump’s infamous “fine people on both sides” remark. If only. You can’t fix stupid. More proof that the government is the employer of last resort. Makes me wonder how AV Man can show his face in public. If only.....one sentence before and after. Waste of time.

“Excuse me, they didn’t put themselves down as neo-Nazis, and you had some very bad people in that group. But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides. You had people in that group – excuse me, excuse me, I saw the same pictures you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.”

After another question at that press conference, Trump became even more explicit:

“I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally.”

Jig 1030am – Your appearances once again are leading you astray. According to the numbers, CA is losing more “actual walking talking” working people than we are attracting. The only ‘walkers and talkers’ that we are having a real bonanza importing are your constituents – those on welfare and the illegals. There are so many of them that our population keeps growing, which brings joy to the hearts of you and yours.

RobertC 1119am - No special definitions are required here Mr Cross, the usual garden variety will do when we examine the statements and proposed policies of the so accused.

RockH 1258pm - I am gratified that our leftwing commenters continue to demonstrate their intense and continued interest in RR, as they evince great concern that the commentaries and comments within these pages will influence more than "anyone but a fool". However, so far the record shows that we have not even influenced the fools.
