Prediction time:
The Lefties’s quiver is empty, their candidates are going over like a fart in church, they have no message or ideas that are rooted in reality (or feasible only in LaLa Land Utopia), the mantra of a “racist/White Supremacist sympathizer lives in the White House” has only made black support for Trump increase......so......my prediction is they will pivot back to impeachment. Why not. They have nothing to lose by going back to impeachment. They have tried everything else.
That’s my prediction.

Another reporter tries to buy a gun
“I went to Walmart with the intention of buying a gun last week as part of an investigation into the placement, selection, marketing, and security of firearms in Walmart's stores, and to learn more about the retailer's processes governing gun sales.
My journey to bring a gun home from Walmart turned out to be far more complicated than I expected.”

Upright: “Our major media are driven by narrative, not by fact. And the narrative depends on the players. Congresswomen Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., aren’t hiding their anti-Semitism. They revel in it. And why not? The media celebrate them as ‘The Squad.’ … Media coverage of Israel has long been skewed in favor of Israel’s enemies. How much coverage, for example, has the mainstream media given to the Palestinian Authority’s announcement — this week — that an LGBTQ group would be banned in its territories, since the PA’s values are in conflict with those of the group? The answer: virtually none.” —Ben Shapiro
Observations: “Trump has been strongly pro-life, strongly pro-American, strongly pro-Israel, strongly pro-capitalism, and he has pushed back against the freedom-robbing regulatory state. He cut taxes and he left evangelicals alone. He didn’t sue the nuns. He doesn’t want our guns. Voting for Trump is not ‘trading Christian values for political power.’ It’s voting in self-defense against the radical, evangelical-hating left and hoping for the best — and getting more than expected.” —Bryan Preston
For the record: “I think any Jewish people that vote for a Democrat … shows either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty.” —Donald Trump, who subsequently elucidated, “In my opinion, you vote for a Democrat, you’re being very disloyal to Jewish people, and you are being very disloyal to Israel. And only weak people would say anything other than that.”
Braying Jackass: “I’m Jewish. I’m a very patriotic American. And the idea that I would be disloyal by being a Democrat is just anathema to me. It’s something that you’d hear really from Mussolini or something from Germany in the ‘30s — that you have to be a member of their party, and if you’re not a member of their party, then you’re disloyal to your country.” —Rep. Steve Cohen
Dezinformatsiya: “We’re not going to let him use Jews and Israel and anti-Semitism as a wedge to divide us along the religious and racial lines. We’re in this together. We know [Trump] attacks black women, Muslims, women, Latinos, immigrants, and Jews, and we know that white supremacists are the number one domestic terror threat in America coming for all of us. We’re going to unite. We’re going to have our disagreements about Israel. That’s fine. But we’re going to unite against the common threat that is coming against all of us which is white supremacy.” —CNN’s Wajahat Ali
The BIG Lie: “The idea that if you’re going to solve this by making it harder to put families with sponsors and lock people up, this is World War II Japanese-American family detention camp-style operation.” —Sen. Jeff Merkley
Swampthink: “Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell … want to do the bidding of the NRA instead of the bidding of the American people when 90% of Americans, Republicans and Democrats, support something as straightforward and common sense as universal background checks. This president came in saying that he was going to drain the swamp and make changes. This is a perfect example that he is the swamp.” —Julian Castro
And last… “I was walking around my house this morning and I saw myself in a mirror. Now, although I know I’m not a young man, I decided then and there that I had to do something about what I saw. So I’ve had all the mirrors removed.” —Pat Sajak

“It is no secret that we must transition away from fossil fuels, period. End of discussion. There ain’t no middle ground…There is no middle ground,”
Stop using gasoline. Right... Sure thing. Explain how that will work.

"That's my understanding," Esper told Fox News in an interview when asked if Hamza bin Laden was dead.
Asked if the US had any role in his death, Esper responded: "I don't have the details on that. And if I did, I'm not sure how much I could share with you."
Earlier this year, the US State Department called bin Laden, who was believed to be in his early 30s, an "emerging" leader in al Qaeda, offering a $1 million reward for information leading to his capture.
The State Department said items seized from the elder bin Laden's hiding place in Pakistan during the Navy SEAL raid that resulted in his death indicated he was grooming Hamza bin Laden to replace him as al Qaeda's leader.

During a Thursday speech, Sanders also said that the U.S. “must transition away from fossil fuels, period. End of discussion. There ain’t no middle ground.”
"“So, I’m a senior at CSU Chico, [inaudible] major,” said the student. “So, my question is, you seem adamant about climate change.”
“Of course,” the student continued after Sanders assented. “So what ways would you take to practice what you preach if you were to become president? I know it’s stressful, and you have to travel a lot, and you have to use fossil fuels …”
“No, I’m not going to walk to California,” Sanders said to laughter from the audience. “Look, you know, I understand that. We do the best we can as an example, but I’m not going to sit here and tell you that we’re not going to use fossil fuels …” "

BTW Emery, No gripe from you yet about the likes of Seattle baring the coal companies from exporting coal from those shipping terminals. Ever heard of the interstate commerce laws?
"we don't like your product. So YOU can't ship it from here".
In essence, the Government "ordering" a company to do something.(or not)
But that's OK.... Right?

"We finally have a President that is a man of action" - Just what you would want Todd, an action hero. No need for focus or judgement or deliberation or seeking expert opinion or even a plan of action. Just action. I see a man who has been shooting from the hip and is now flailing his arms trying to cover his ass by blaming everything and everybody but himself when things go wrong - and of course gloat in self congratulatory praise when something goes well, even if it had nothing to do with him.

The socialist dems have no sense of humor! -
Fox Nation's Kat Timpf has a response to those who are apparently outraged by an iconic board game maker poking fun at socialism.
"Wah, wah, wah. Maybe they're making fun of socialism because it's bad," said Timpf on "Fox and Friends" Friday morning.
Hasbro, the maker of the beloved family game Monopoly, released a special edition of the game called Monopoly Socialism. The satirical twist on the decades-old game replaces Monopoly's traditional player tokens with a phonograph, a pocket watch and an old fashioned rotary phone. And instead of players collecting $200 when they pass "Go," the socialism-themed edition instructs players that will receive a $50 "living wage".

Daily Quotes:
The bottom line: “More so than any particular policy or administrative fiat or legal decree, what Trump has accomplished more boldly and triumphantly than he has anything else is his exposure of the various vessels of the mainstream media — that most supercilious and intellectually sheltered of institutions — for being the barely veiled partisan hacks that they so manifestly are.” —Josh Hammer
Grand delusions: “Seven young children have died since Trump was inaugurated as president of the United States. Not one died over eight years under President Obama’s stewardship. Family separations happened under this administration. We saw the public-charge assault last week, which is family separation by other means, and now here we are detaining some children indefinitely.” —California Gov. Gavin Newsom
Pipe dream: “It is no secret that we must transition away from fossil fuel, period. End of discussion. … There is no middle ground.” —Sen. Bernie Sanders
The BIG Lie I: “Look what he did with American Jews and the Jewish community. Come on, man. That’s like a dog whistle.” —Joe Biden
The BIG Lie II: “I can think of nothing more un-American, more resonant with what you might see in the Third Reich, than what the president said [about disloyal Israelis]. And if we’re unwilling to see this for what it is, if we’re unwilling to call it out, if we’re unwilling to act, then we’re going to lose this country.” —Beto O'Rourke
Braying Jenny: “[Trump’s] not focused on my policy agenda. He’s focused on my ethnicity, my background.” —Rep. Rashida Tlaib
Braying Jenny II: “I think that the Trump administration … sit[s] around every single day thinking up new ways to be cruel to these migrants. That’s what they do. And tomorrow, they will probably come up with something else.” —Sen. Mazie Hirono
[I always had her as the dumbest person in the Senate since the first time she spoke.]
Non Compos Mentis: “You don’t want to worry about character? Elect a woman!” —MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt
And last… “For most of the Democratic presidential candidates, the only way they’re going to get anymore news coverage is dropping out.” —Frank J. Fleming

Get woke go broke -
Shaving company Gillette says it is “shifting the spotlight from social issues to local heroes,” after the company’s brief foray into the SJW-style demonization of masculinity drew a massive backlash from customers.
The company landed itself in hot water last year when it ran a #MeToo-themed ad borrowing language from far-left anti-male feminists, depicting the abuse of women by men and encouraging male Gilette customers to “shave their toxic masculinity.”
Consumers did not reward Gillette for its attempt to dabble in left-wing identity politics. Gillette’s parent company, Procter & Gamble (P&G), posted a net loss of $5.24 billion in the fourth quarter, compared to profits of $1.89 billion a year ago.

Oct 7 is the SCOTUS opening. If RBG is able to discharge her duties, more power to her.
If not...
WWHRD? What would Harry Reid do with a Senate majority and a Dem president?
I expect Trump would be ready with the Federalist's recommendations, and McConnell would get it done.

Speaking of cheap scum Bessee we have someone with the fake name fish on our this blog who celebrates the potentia death of a Supreme Court Justice by commenting it will be "big fun ahead" if it happens. What is your view of that comment Don?

But, oh the drama! Man, they will go nuts. Complete bonkers with bulging eyes on springs and veins popping out of their necks. Oh, they will be triggered off the Richter Scale. It will be the end to our Democracy as we know it. Really, this time it will be The End.

As the PM of Denmark remarked after seeing similar numbers, “We need to have a conversation.” Survey sez: Sharia Law should reign supreme to Danish Law. Yes, they need to have a conversation.
RT: 4 in 10 Danish Muslims want Koran to be used in Denmark’s laws
“When one believes that the Koran should play an essential role in legislation and for life in society, and when one believes – as previous polls have shown – that women of a certain age should be covered up, then one does not wish to be a part of Danish society and it is delusional to act like they were here first and it is the rest of us who came later. It is incredibly rude,” said Martin Henriksen, a spokesman for the Danish People’s Party.”

Well, in 1917 and 1918, Denmark sold the Danish Virgin Islands to the US for 25 million gold. We renamed it to the US Virgin Islands. Just a tolerate European little country.

What if it doesn't take RBG dying, Paul. Would that make it go down easier? What if she just can't do it again?
There was plenty of squeals of delight when Scalia died without warning.
And Biden, the front runner in the Dem race to the top, was an absolute scumbag who showed no shame wielding the Big Lie when Robert Bork was in line for a SCOTUS appointment.
Big fun indeed.

Emery.. get it right for once. You don't speak ill of the dead.
Those soon to be are fair game.

St Paul is pissed - better not rile him!
He'll damn you to AM corporate radio for eternity if you don't meet his high standards.
"You can't get any lower than to look forward to someones possible death death as "big fun ahead"."
The problem of course, is that no one is thinking it would be 'big fun' for her to die.
The probability is that she will will no longer be able to continue and have to resign or at least be unable to continue her duties and the court will swing possibly to the right. The 'big fun' referred to is another Trump pick for SCOTUS and the uproar from the left.
Paul has no problem with lefties cheering the actual deaths of humans (he himself sanctions the killings of innocent human life) but struggles to find some sort of moral high ground in the field of written opinions in which he has heretofore found little success.

Speaking of dead,,, we had another killing in the county today.
Only got bits and pieces of the squawk box.
Emery better get right on that. How did the killer get the gun? We have laws you know. He better name the law that was to stop this. How come it wasn't abided by Emery? Going to blame the legal gun owner again?

After spending her entire adult life repeating a lie, I simply want Warren to tell the truth,” she continued, mentioning Warren’s great-great-great-grandfather – who allegedly participated in the Trail of Tears – as well as her other family members who purportedly participated in squatting on Cherokee land. Damned good question.
What If Greenland Wants Trump More Than It Wants Denmark?
https://dailycaller.com/2019/08/22/whiton-greenland-demark/
"What if Greenlanders might want to join America under the right circumstances?
After all, there has long been a movement in Greenland for independence from Denmark. In 2008, voters there passed a referendum overwhelmingly to increase their autonomy. In 2009, the country dropped Danish as an official language in favor of Greenlandic, and some major political parties favor making English supreme. The population is mostly Inuit — similar to Alaskan Eskimos — not Danish. Greenland was a U.S. protectorate in World War II when Denmark was occupied by Nazis. And some major political parties favor independence from Denmark."

“Taking this out of context is malicious," Biden campaign rapid response director Andrew Bates similarly scolded CNN's Chris Cillizza. "He was putting into perspective, for young people, how traumatic the assassinations of RFK and MLK were for the country. The crowd didn't even react because they understood his point. This click-chasing is sickening."
Shocking, absolutely shocking I say! Imagine taking things out of context. We have the video and text of Sloopy Joe saying it. It’s not up for dispute. He said those words! Debunk that. Score one for the Right snatching that moral high ground and planting a flag.

Haven’t seen Punchie this dripping with incredulous moral outrage since the lady from the choir collapsed on MLK Day. Hey, I was cool with it cause I thought it was Punchy that went down when I head the news. Boy Walt, he sure told you a thing or two. Toss Ruthie in the compost pile. Hope she don’t release too much CO2 in the atmosphere. Maybe a nice spot in the flower garden as a nice way to remember her in the Spring.
Walt. Made a good one the other night. Miniature pork shoulder roast in the crockpot. Set it fat side up on a layer of 4 small whole potatoes and carrots (all I had) and about an inch or so of some chicken broth, threw some garlic on top of the meat and let er go all night. Not bad. Real good. Now, if only I could remember what spices I sprinkled on the top of the pork. :). Safeway had big slabs of beef on sale for two bucks a pound, but they contained 5 tri-tips. Should of grabbed one of those big babies, but nooo. Think it was a two day sale.

Eating their own.
“In a forceful column, Wemple called out the “professional hypocrisy” of both the network and one of its biggest on-air personalities for failing to explain, condemn, or apologize for the bodyguard roughly manhandling a member of the press and interfering with his reporting duties. The bodyguard, who Ryan has said she hired after getting death threats, has now been charged with assault, theft, and harassment.
“It’s one thing to hire a bodyguard to protect a freedom-of-press advocate from death threats,” Wemple noted. “It’s another thing when the bodyguard undermines freedom of press on behalf of the freedom-of-press advocate.”
“Speak now or relinquish your standing as First Amendment champions.“

The dynamics of the trade war and real world developments keep playing our way. -
Chinese consumers may continue to eat more beef and other meats after wholesale pork prices in the country hit a record this month.Consumption of beef has also been on a rising trend thanks to increasing household incomes.Pork supplies in China may remain tight, with hog herds down about 32% as of last month, while the number of breeding sows dropped by about the same percentage. Pig numbers have tumbled as the deadly hog virus ravages farms.
