The king of fakenews does it again! -
The Central Intelligence Agency on Monday evening slammed what it called CNN's "misguided" and "simply false" reporting, after the cable channel's chief national security correspondent authored a hole-filled piece claiming that the CIA had pulled a high-level spy out of Russia because President Trump had "repeatedly mishandled classified intelligence and could contribute to exposing the covert source as a spy." The extraordinary CIA rebuke came as the New York Times published a bombshell piece late in the evening, which largely contradicted CNN's reporting. According to the Times, CIA officials "made the arduous decision in late 2016 to offer to extract the source from Russia" -- weeks before Trump even took office.

Elizabeth Warren Endorses Justice Democrats’ Primary Challenge To Long-Time Democratic Incumbent
“Cuellar, who has represented the Lone Star State’s 28th Congressional District since 2005, has long been a target of Justice Democrats for not being progressive enough in a safely blue district, according to NBC News. Specifically, he is backed by the National Rifle Association (NRA) and wants to defund sanctuary cities. He also received blowback from progressives over his support for a ban on federally funded abortions.
“Cisneros is a 26-year-old immigration lawyer who is running on a progressive platform to mandate a $15 per hour federal minimum wage, Medicare-for-All, the Green New Deal, free public college, increasing taxes, and expanding Social Security, reported The Laredo Morning Times. Cisneros is also pro-abortion, anti-Second Amendment, and opposes any construction of a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.”
https://www.dailywire.com/news/51545/elizabeth-warren-endorses-justice-democrats-molly-prince
Warren is by far the most prominent Democrat to back Cisneros yet. Cuellar has brushed off the challenge as out-of-state meddling by Democrats who do not know his South Texas district.
"We told you the outside special interests were coming to take away local jobs," Cuellar tweeted after the endorsement, adding that Warren and Cisneros "share an agenda that would kill" many jobs in the region.
“Cuellar campaign spokesman Colin Strother said the Warren endorsement only reinforces the notion that Cisneros "has no support in the district" and is relying on "northeastern extremists."
"I hope more Massachusetts senators endorse her," Strother said.

Daily Quotes.
Insight: “No man, for any considerable period, can wear one face to himself and another to the multitude, without finally getting bewildered as to which one is true.” —Nathaniel Hawthorne (1804-1864)
Political gymnastics: “The GOP won a special election billed as a ‘must win’ by the media in NC-09. Congressman-elect Bishop will head to Washington despite Democrats pouring vast resources into the race. Had the GOP lost, the media would have turned it into a defining narrative. Because they won, the press will move on.” —Erick Erickson
A blind squirrel finds a nut: “We really should get back to the way it was when people were examining qualifications of what it takes to be a judge, rather than trying to guess how they would vote on contentious cases.” —Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg
Friendly fire: “Unless a woman’s life … is at risk, then there shouldn’t be an abortion in the third trimester.” —Rep. Tulsi Gabbard
Straight from the horse’s mouth: “Are there socialists in the Democratic Party? You bet. Because we’re a big tent party. We have all of the above.” —Democrat Rep. Donna Shalala
Non compos mentis: “Living close to work shouldn’t be a luxury for the rich. It’s a right for everyone.” —Beto O'Rourke
Non sequitur: “Congress gives hundreds of billions of dollars to fund our endless wars each year, yet making public college and universities tuition-free is somehow ‘too radical.’ I reject that.” —Sen. Bernie Sanders (“One case is national defense, which all Americans benefit from, and the other is a direct transfer of money from hard working Americans to the investment decisions (ie college) of others. Saying they are the same thing is pure intellectual laziness.” —Rep. Dan Crenshaw)
Village idiots: “People need to wake the f—k up. We’re going the wrong direction as fast as possible. I like to say that we’re like Thelma and Louise. We’re driving straight toward the canyon at 90 miles per hour with the radio cranked up and the top down.” —climate crusader and hypocrite James Cameron
And last… “This country is owned by We the People. We wrote a Constitution. We put down what we wanted to put in it. We can amend it when we wish. And it is not up to nine people to tell 330 million Americans how to live.” —Justice Neil Gorsuch

This is after the Repubs dropped 10 points in NC House election from Trumps 2016 win.
"While the GOP can celebrate the election of a new congressman, Dan Bishop, his 2-point victory in a district President Donald Trump carried by 12 points in 2016 continues a worrisome trend for the party, which suffered heavy losses in the 2018 midterms and has not seen the political environment improve as Trump gears up for reelection. Earwig @ 1:06 Linked story is an interesting ramble about changing conditions in a fishery unlikely to amount to much. Great yarn for the bedwetters to wring their hands over, but completely without evidence to support the indictment therein. If you look at the global map, you'll notice that the area under discussion is the only such spot in the entire Southern Hemisphere. Someplace had to have that title and the reporter somehow found it. Probably Uruguay's punishment for eating all that beef.
But, still nothing to falsify the null hypothesis: Nothing is occurring that is outside the bounds of natural variability. Wigs, if you think you have found that something that would meet that standard, make a big noise- you'll be famous if right.
If you think otherwise, present your case.
P.S. saying something over and over again doesn't make it so.

Well, Bush 1 sent about 100 people to jail or took away their banking licenses during the S&L scandal. Lock them up and put them out of commission, not more play that game. They did let McCain walk though. There is always one.
Under the Obama Administration, how many bankers, traders, auditors, guys who run brokerage houses went to jail or got put out of the business? Zero, a nice round number.
It will take awhile to get rid of all the corrupt federal workers. Federal workers suck and stink to high heaven. Worthless as tits on your daddy. Worthless as teats on a weathered goat.

And has anyone considered that to a leftist like Mr Cross, any capitalist business owner can be characterized as an enemy of the people because any assiduous idiot can find some facet of the business that somehow benefited from some contact with government? You seem to have a penchant for blaming the Dems for all those things trump does as if making the case that two wrongs makes a right is a valid argument.
Trump is no longer just "any capitalist business owner" he is President. Presidents are supposed to put their holdings into blind trusts so they cannot use their office for gain. Trump has not done this and has funneled millions of tax payer dollars into his own enterprises. Somehow you and yours are willing to overlook all of this and instead throw up a cloud of chaff in defense. Like all of the other lies and grifts trump has pulled off whether you wish to acknowledge this truth or not is entirely up to you.

RC 8:24
"Trump is no longer just "any capitalist business owner" he is President. Presidents are supposed to put their holdings into blind trusts so they cannot use their office for gain. Trump has not done this and has funneled millions of tax payer dollars into his own enterprises. Somehow you and yours are willing to overlook all of this and instead throw up a cloud of chaff in defense. Like all of the other lies and grifts trump has pulled off whether you wish to acknowledge this truth or not is entirely up to you."
Of course nothing but crickets.

Crickets. Not a single comment. Silence speaks volumes. You own this. You can pretend no one takes notice, but we do and we don't forget.

So Scott you have no problems with Trumps deficit spending?

Walt says
"Trump has done exactly what he said he would do. "
Mexico will build the wall-did they do that?
We will have a balanced budget-is it balanced
We will have a great health plan -where and what is it?
We will have infrastructure legislation-where is it?
I can go on and on and on and on and on and on.....

OK, Paul - you're on. Please break down the US fed budget and show us all what part of it is "Trump's deficit".
Because last time I looked, the budget is overflowing with spending baked in since the 1930s.
Because Paul has no memory, I've been harping about the fed deficit for years. Paul is quite upset with the deficit only when it's "Trump's deficit".
And Paul wants to elect folks that will blow the deficit through the roof.
But that's OK, because it isn't "Trump's deficit".
So c'mon big boy - show your cards.
What is "Trump's deficit"?

The pony tail of ignorance should talk to the cryin chuck since they own the block of those goals, you need 60 so you cannot continue to squawk about it being Trumps problem. That's why the pony tail of ignorance owns the name!

I welcome the matchup of Trump v. Fauxcahontas.
Or Trump v. Biden.
In fact, if there's a SCOTUS vacancy in the meantime from a left-leaning justice bowing out, I might not even care who wins. Another Goresuch would sew it up.

RobertC 824am - And just what is the evidence that Trump has "funneled" hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars into his businesses while president? And if there were a shred of evidence to support that, Team Nadler, with Nancy waving pom-poms, would have the President impeached on the emoluments clause in a heartbeat. Even a Republican Senate would have a hard time not convicting him in that case. You should forward your evidence to the House Judiciary Committee.
And you didn't understand my comment which was referring to any Democratic politicians who started their careers as paupers and mysteriously wound up with hundreds of millions.
