Joe Biden Once Said Clinton Impeachment Could Be Perceived As 'Partisan Lynching'

I found the smoke Bobbie was yapping about. Surprisingly good article.

“There is simply no greater crime against the United States, its Constitution, and its people than subverting the government that is duly elected by the people. The evidence that this crime was committed with the consent and support of aforementioned individuals and others from the Obama administration, who were working in concert with many others, is now overwhelming.

“The few wise people left in the Democrat Party know that their presidential candidates’ embrace of a panoply of unfunded and outrageously expensive left-wing policies is a losing proposition juxtaposed to the persona and policy success of Trump, who has delivered results against almost impossible odds in the face of unprecedented hostility. The nation has also witnessed the Democrats cave in to the extremism of Sandy O and the “Squad,” pushing to modify both the First and Second Amendments and embrace the tactics of Marxist-anarchist Saul Alinsky, who was all about taking the gloves off to destroy political opponents by lying, character assassination, and denying their opponents any semblance of due process or the presumption of innocence. Who can forget what the Democrats did to destroy Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh?......

“Most everyone is on to the Pelosi-Schiff impeachment investigation hearings as being all form and little substance. Sham hearings held secretly behind closed doors tells you everything you need to know. This is nothing more than the next phase of an illegitimate coup, whose secondary purpose is to create smoke to obfuscate and prevent seeing the real story. And in case you missed it, that story is a simple one: Like him or not, Donald Trump was chosen for such a time as this, when unusual courage and energy are critically necessary to persevere with the priorities to save the nation from self-destruction.“

Ewwww just like a horny teenager wanting to use the girls gym -

The British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal has ruled against Canadian transgender activist Jessica Yaniv in a case stemming from a complaint Yaniv filed against multiple female beauticians who refused to wax Yaniv’s male genitalia.

“Self-identification does not erase physiological reality,” said Jay Cameron, a lawyer for the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, which represented the beauticians. “Our clients do not offer the service requested. No woman should be compelled to touch male genitals against her will, irrespective of how the owner of the genitals identifies.”

The Tribunal said in its decision that Yaniv had had filed the “complaints for improper purposes,” and had contradicted herself in “disingenuous” testimony. Yaniv, who is sexually attracted to women, brought 15 complaints against a number of beauticians in the Vancouver area, seeking as much as $15,000 in damages from each one.

“Most of the women who were the target of Yaniv’s complaints work out of their own home, are of immigrant background, and have small children with them in the house during the day,” the Justice Centre’s report said. Yaniv also apparently accused immigrants during the trial of discrimination for refusing service on religious grounds, writing earlier this year on Facebook that “we have a lot of immigrants here who gawk, judge and aren’t the cleanest of people, they’re also verbally and physically abusive, that’s one reason I joined a girl’s gym.”

Yaniv is being ordered to pay $2,000 to three of the accused women, one of whom was forced out of business due to the case.

In August, Yaniv was arrested for owning a taser, after brandishing it on camera during an interview about Yaniv’s alleged history of predatory behavior toward children. Screen-captured messages allegedly from Yaniv highlighted intimate questions to underage girls, and legal documents showed an attempt to organize a topless pool party for such girls.

“The impeachment panic is going on for only ONE REASON, the Dems know that they don't have a snowball's chance in hell of defeating Trump at the polls in 2020 with anyone from their clown car of candidates who are running. The job must be done with a political show before the election to properly impact the double dummies.” Well said, sir.

It’s as if Hillary is fighting for her life.
Why is nobody asking why the first FISA warrant on Carter Page was issued well after he left his voluntary position on the campaign, then subsequently renewed 3 more times? Odd. Odder still, Page was not charged with anything. Yep, the die is cast. Race against time and the walls are about to come crumbling down....in due time, of course. As the Enemy of the People is fond of saying, “The noose is tightening.”

Biggums best better buy himself some earplugs and a dust mask.

Back to the dark ages tomorrow. Was in town today and some people can't even fill up a fuel can! Now the older folks I can understand having a problem. I helped out a nice elderly lady fill her new five gallon jug. The damned safety requirements are not user friendly. Good thing she has someone at home to do the pouring and generator starting.

“All Donald Trump and Tulsi Gabbard have done is question whether U.S. foreign policy actually benefits the American people. Apparently, if you question that status quo, the Democrats and their barking circus seals in the media will scream, “The Russians are coming!”—-a writer, forget his name.

And other Quotes:

Policy: “Trump should request that Congress formally approve a resolution to authorize the U.S. government to occupy eastern Syria for as many years as it chooses and to thwart any government and any terrorist, extremist, or radical group that has not recently been overtly or covertly supported by the U.S. government. Putting forward a specific resolution would force Trump’s congressional critics to specify exactly what policies they seek to use American soldiers to enforce.” —James Bovard

D'oh! “Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders drew 25,000 people to a rally in New York over the weekend. The aging socialist received the endorsement of the rising socialist, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, much to the delight of the crowd. I doubt if anyone of them saw the irony of this rally, which took place very near the site where Amazon had planned to open a new facility that coincidentally would have created 25,000 new jobs. But AOC blew it up.” —Gary Bauer

Observations: “Our constitutional system will be damaged because impeachment will be discredited. That will not make it any less indispensable than Madison judged it to be. Yet its invocation will be even less likely in some grievous future instance, when a presidential abuse of power actually does imperil the nation. We will have a virtually omnipotent president. As a practical matter, there will be no viable congressional check — no impeachment, no power of the purse — to rein the president in.” —Andrew McCarthy

Political futures I: “Senate Republicans stand to be the biggest casualty of impeachment, since they face losing their three-seat majority as struggling candidates are forced to cast a vote that will anger critical groups of voters, no matter which way they go. Democrats are targeting President Trump. What they may get instead is the Senate.” —David Drucker

Political futures II: “Lots of polling show evangelical voters firmly attached to Trump and nothing can shake them. But the same polls show the same voters are fearful of the Dems’ increasingly hostility to them and their values. I suspect the two are related.” —Erick Erickson

Friendly fire: “Tulsi Gabbard has put her life on the line to defend this country. People can disagree on issues, but it is outrageous for anyone to suggest that Tulsi is a foreign asset.” —Sen. Bernie Sanders responding to Hillary Clinton’s hilariously bad attack on Gabbard

Alpha jackass: “President Trump, perhaps inspired by [Joseph] Goebbels and the propagandists of the Third Reich, seems to employ this tactic that the bigger the lie, the more obscene the injustice, the more dizzying the pace of this bizarre behavior, the less likely we are to be able to do something about it.” —R. Francis O'Rourke

Braying jenny: “I’m actually very excited about this partnership because it shows what we have to do in our country is that we have to come together across race, across gender, across generation.” —Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on why she chose to endorse “an old white guy”

And last… “Just a reminder that ‘progressivism’ has no actual destination. It just keeps proposing new, strange things and insisting they’re normal. In 5 years they’ll be telling us that yes, it’s totally fine to marry your dog & anyone who disagrees is on the wrong side of history.” —Allie Beth Stuckey

,,,Cockamamie conspiracy questions,,,Republicans lie about not being represented in inquiry,,,

MIKE BARNICLE, MSNBC: Congressman, yesterday with the republicans in attendance in the basement, did you hear any of them ask a question? Did you hear any of the questions? If so, what kinds of questions did they ask?

REP. ERIC SWALWELL: Cockamamie conspiracy questions.

MIKE BARNICLE: Of Ambassador Bill Taylor?

ERIC SWALWELL: Yes. Or 2016 Hillary server, what about her e-mails, that type of nonsense.

MIKE BARNICLE: Wow.

WILLIE GEIST, MSNBC: Hey, Congressman, Devin Nunes came out and gave an interview after the hearing and said that Congressman Ratcliffe, I believe the term he used, "destroyed the witness," and established that there was no quid-pro-quo. Can you shed any light on that? Did you see that?

ERIC SWALWELL: That did not happen. If you read the opening statement, I think what you see is, one, that there was, in fact, a connection between having a White House meeting and getting security assistance only if the Ukrainians would investigate the Bidens and investigate and exonerate Russia for the 2016 role. But also that you saw two sharp straight lines, not just Donald Trump to Rudy Giuliani because the defense, I think, has been well, this is rogue Rudy. No, you have a sharp straight line between the president and his lawyer, and the president and Ambassador Sondland, who says in this "Washington Post" opening statement that was leaked that the president is saying to connect investigations to aid.

WILLIE GEIST: So Congressman, how did you assess your witness yesterday, Ambassador Taylor? He obviously took very detailed notes, a career diplomat, an experienced diplomat who knew he needed to get some of this down in writing. He had dates and times and everything else. The White House came out yesterday and referred sort of indirectly to him as a "radical unelected bureaucrat." How did you assess his credibility in the room over those nine and a half hours?

ERIC SWALWELL: Well, I saw this radical unelected bureaucrat walk into a room of about 75 people, a very small room, with a commanding courageous presence, take a seat, and for 40 minutes lay out what he saw starting with his own credentials of serving in Vietnam after West Point in the 101st Airborne Division, working in the Senate, working for NATO, working at the State Department, coming out of retirement to take a job that he didn't need to take to serve his country. He had unimpeachable credibility and a detailed recall of the efferents that events that had happened.

JONATHAN LEMIRE, AP: We've been discussing a lot this morning about the real-world consequences here, that Ukrainian lives were in jeopardy. The media has obtained the opening statement from Ambassador Taylor -- He discusses at length the need for Ukraine to be an important American ally, the threat that they face every day from Russia, so particularly with that, how stark this is, this isn't about politics. This is about real lives here, real-world consequences. Is what you heard yesterday, very simply, is what you heard yesterday an impeachable offense?

ERIC SWALWELL: We're going to give the president a fairer trial than he deserves. If this was Donald Trump justice, he would be impeached by now. But in America, even people who confess to crimes get due process. So he will get that. I'm glad you brought up the human element here, because if you're an American at home who has been just outraged by what's been going on with the slaughter of the Kurds and the green light that the president has given them, you should be very concerned that this president was withholding aid --that is your taxpayer dollars-- that was supposed to help the Ukrainians and while that aid has been withheld, every second that goes by, that has led to dead Ukrainians. Aid that would have helped them defend themselves and as you saw in that "Washington Post" statement from Ambassador Taylor, 13,000 Ukrainians have died. They very much could have had more lives saved if the aid had come through rather than been held over the head to only benefit Donald Trump's re-election campaign.

MIKE BARNICLE: Congressman Swalwell, I want to clear one thing up. Ambassador Taylor, 40 minutes reads his opening statement. He has impeccable credentials as everyone clearly now knows, and during the question-and-answer session that ensued, an unnamed Republican actually asked Ambassador Taylor about Hillary Clinton's e-mails?

ERIC SWALWELL: No, you saw the line of questioning was about this cockamamie theory that the Ukrainians were involved and interfered in the 2016 election, this server theory that Donald Trump continues to spin. That's the theme that we're seeing here is really to go back and look at, you know, 2016 just as Donald Trump wants. No one -- no member on their side, I think, has let the gravity of this sink in and what it means for our national security and what it means for our constitution. That's what's so frustrating.

Those who have looks of disgust on their face, and I've seen that, we would really like them to start asking questions and have the courage to show that they are concerned because I know they're concerned, and they know it's not right.

WILLIE GEIST: Congressman, you're not going to change the mind of Devin Nunes or some of the Republicans who have decided it's their life work to protect President Trump, but do you in your private conversations talk to any Republican members who have now read the summary of the phone call with the presidents of the United States and Ukraine or seen the whistle-blower report or now heard this incredible testimony for Ambassador Taylor and have said to you, boy, there is something here?

ERIC SWALWELL: One member said to me he’s very concerned and he wants us to not rush this, and I -- I took that to heart, but I told him we will be fair, but if we, you know, go on a protracted investigation here, Donald Trump is just going to, you know, try and tie us up in court, give himself moral equivalence, and give everyone a nickname and confuse the American people, so we want to move fairly but also swiftly.

“Never did hear about the impeachable offense...”

Hmmm.

“So for me this matter boils down to (1) whether Trump temporarily withheld aid because he wanted Ukraine to pledge to investigate the Bidens and (2) if so, whether this is a grounds for impeachment where the aid was given to Ukraine and Ukraine did not launch such as investigation.”

“My answer to the first question is: Maybe, but I don’t know. My answer to the second is: No.”
