The Flynn filing also slammed former FBI Director James Comey's "bragging and laughing on national television about his own cleverness and violations of FBI/DOJ rules in dispatching agents to the White House to interview the President's National Security Advisor." (In 2018, Comey admitted on-air that sending agents to the White House was “something I probably wouldn't have done or maybe gotten away with in a more … organized administration.”)

Flynn's attorneys further asserted that his previous lawyers at Covington & Burling had "betrayed him" by advising that he plead guilty without providing adequate assistance of counsel. The Covington team was constitutionally deficient, and had not even informed him that the agents who interviewed him initially didn't think he was lying and "saw no indication of deception," Flynn's lead lawyer Sidney Powell said.

Nor did the Covington attorneys alert Flynn that Special Counsel Robert Mueller was focusing on Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) violations -- which created conflict of interest issues for Covington, which helped Flynn prepare his FARA filings. Even after government lawyers told Covington to tell Flynn about the issue, Covington "kept it all a secret" from Flynn and left him "defenseless," without urging Flynn to seek independent counsel.

Powell provided the court a bombshell internal email from Covington lawyers discussing whether some of Flynn's statements concerning FARA issues, which they advised him to admit were lies, were even made by Flynn at all.

Don @ 2:30 pm

Yep. And the gov’t (Mueller) slapped an gag order on Flynn, which is still in effect, so the man can not defend himself in public while Punchy screams, “Liar, he’s a liar. He cannot be trusted, Flynn’s a LIAR!” Sad. Wonder if I am hauled off and our sock puppets attack me and my counsel first, facts be damned. They truly hate justice. They seek convictions, not the truth.

So, what are they going to do? Send out a bunch of people to inspect your output? Maybe if Schiffilis ever comes back to CA without a camera rolling, he can go door to door and inspect your crapper. He is well versed on the topic. They are already regulating what we eat, now they are regulating the other end, lol.

Since the 'homelessness' crises is ongoing and a constant bullet point item in every Dem candidate's web page, I thought it pertinent to link to a person who might help.
Alas - he doesn't offer any of the sort of answers that the left wants to hear about. Most of the talk I see printed in newspapers and on-line is total blather. The 'cost' of housing has almost nothing to do with why there are so many homeless. But this is wrong-think and so we are going to have the homeless in large numbers for quite a while longer until the homeless shape up and become the people the left wants them to be.
Meanwhile the left postures and virtue-signals in order to elevate their own stock in the eyes of the non-thinkers.
The homeless be damned.

The pathetic tiny "wall" that Trump has managed to build can't even stand up to a gentle breeze and fell into Mexico. What a hoot.

Trump’s border wall blew over in the wind — and landed on the Mexican side

"President Donald Trump’s much-hyped border wall suffered an embarrassing setback when newly installed panels in his fence blew over in the wind — and landed on the Mexican side of the border.

“Mexicali police have confirmed with News 11 that a portion of the new border wall fell on the Mexico side of the border, landing on several trees,” KYMA-TV reported Wednesday. “A portion of the wall landed on the trees, preventing it from hitting the ground. It runs about 130 feet in length.”

Ransomware Linked to Iran, Targets Industrial Controls
Gwen Ackerman
January 28, 2020, 4:12 PM PST

(Bloomberg) -- An Israeli cybersecurity firm said it believes a new strain of ransomware was created by Iran and has the ability to lock up or even delete industrial control systems.
Tel Aviv-based Otorio, a cybersecurity firm which specializes in industrial control systems (ICS), said that the ransomware called “Snake,” like others of its kind, encrypts programs and documents on infected machines. But it also removes all file copies from infected stations, preventing the victims from recovering encrypted files.

Snake, which was recently discovered, searches for hundreds of specific programs -- including many industrial processes that belong to General Electric Co. -- in order to terminate them and allow it to encrypt the files, Otorio said.

Checking this month’s calendar. . It’s been quite a January with more to come. The trade agreement (Phase One) with China signed, USMCA signed, the second Terrorist sent to his virgin with 72 genders, New Jersey Hit it’s lowest unemployment rate in the state’s history, the Mid East deal, more records in the stock market, and the most people working in US history. I could go on and one, but I am trying to post shorter comments. :)

With all that is going on, let’s not forget my beloved Nigel Farage. Brexit! Great goodbye speech,p start to finish (5 minutes), but one can start the 2:50 for time restraints.

,,,President Bone Spurs says soldiers with traumatic brain injuries are sissies...

,,,having fun with the impeachment questions...

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) posed a question that quoted from a line in the infamous Access Hollywood tape, in which Trump was caught on hot mic telling host Billy Bush that “when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.”

Harris’s question, read aloud by Chief Justice John Roberts, compared that remark to President Richard Nixon’s quote that “when the president does it, that means it is not illegal.”

“If the Senate fails to hold the president accountable for misconduct, how would that undermine the integrity of our system of justice?” Roberts, reading Harris’ question, asked.

George Rebane

odlaw 858am - Is that a general purpose shibboleth you're quoting, or do you have in mind some specific presidential "misconduct" for which there is evidence? Or are you still offering allegations as evidence? In short, what again is your point?

Looks like Bernie has learned a lesson Kamala. Sanders released this morning his new plan for 2020: Don’t die.
Day Old Quotes

Political futures: “The problem with the [Doug] Collins [Georgia Senate] run is that it allows the Democrats to unite behind a single candidate while the GOP is divided and will also deprive other key races of money needed to win. There’s no primary in this special election. It’ll be two R’s against one D on one ballot.” —Erick Erickson

Grudge-in-chief: “I certainly feel the urge [to run] because I feel the 2016 election was a really odd time and an odd outcome. And the more we learn, the more that seems to be the case. But I’m going to support the people who are running now and do everything I can to help elect the Democratic nominee.” —Hillary Clinton

This. Changes. Everything. “I just think we have to win. I don’t think we can afford another four years by the current incumbent. I think that would be absolutely dangerous to our democracy, and I’ll do whatever I can to make sure the Democrats win this time.” —Hillary Clinton

Not sorry at all: “During an interview on Saturday night, one of my guests said something that made me laugh and while in the moment, I found that joke humorous. And I didn’t catch everything that was said. Just to make this perfectly clear, I was laughing at the joke and not at any group of people.” —CNN’s Don Lemon

Shooting yourself in the foot: “I can think of at least eight women, at least four or five people of color, that I think are totally qualified to be vice president of the United States. But for me, it has to be demonstrated that whoever I pick is two things. One, is capable of being president, because I’m an old guy. No, I’m serious.” —Joe Biden
170,000 people tried on line to get tickets to the Trump rally in New Jersey. Wonder if the shockingly high number had anything to do with the above quotes.

The lawsuit is venued in the Federal District Court in Northern Illinois. More defendants are likely to be added:........

Finally, a fun fact: Page is represented by the same lawyers who are representing Tulsi Gabbard in her defamation case against Hillary Clinton, who called Gabbard a Russian asset. Which, of course, is what she and her minions also called Carter Page, an equally absurd lie.“

Why did Trump go to Iowa? Why, why, why? To bring some life to the Dem funeral party!

Byron York: In Iowa, Trump dwarfs Democratic competition

“But Trump's appearance was for a higher purpose: To mess with his Democratic opponents. Just zoom in on Air Force One, stage a rally bigger than anything they could muster in their wildest dream and zoom back to Washington, having shown again that he is big and they are small.

Trump talked about many things — he spoke for 1 hour and 27 minutes. But he spent perhaps the most time on trade and the economy, touting his U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement and the recently completed first stage of his trade deal with China. Iowa farmers stuck with Trump through the tariff battles, and now both deals will improve the Iowa economy, he said over and over and over. Farmers will need bigger tractors. They'll need bigger harvests just to deal with all the new business.

Just to drive home the message, on either side of the giant blue "KEEP AMERICA GREAT" banner behind Trump were two red banners, nearly as big, with the same message: "JOBS! JOBS! JOBS!"

Amid all the talk of the drama of the day in Washington, in Iowa, Trump is pushing one big point, and that is: My presidency is making your lives better, and you would be crazy to vote for anybody else in November.”

Wow - "...every 'leading' Dem..."
So, it must be true.
Further - "The poorest Americans, people in the bottom 20%, wouldn't get any." Really? None? So how is it they are better off than 90% of the rest of the world?
Now - what sort of material goods did the 'poor' have 50 years ago vs today? Anyone thought about that?

Right on schedule. Dr. Evil’s diabolical plot hatched in his liar hidden beneath the bowels of the House basement has been to start ratcheting up the clamp down on social media sites. Put it out like a shoe on a cigarette butt grinding it into on the ground. Been waiting for it. We haven’t seen nothing yet....not by any means. No sireee, they are just doing little trail runs. It’s not just the warning from Twitter. It’s happening in increased frequency across a wider spectrum and only toe ones with a good sized following. I reckon it will be almost shut down the last week of the 2020 election. 85% maybe. They have ways to kill the mic.

Notice how Biden’is going nuts over one social media outlet is not going to police political speech by the campaigns for accuracy. Man, their melons are exploding over that. Can’t win on a level playing field. Gotta turn up the heat a bit and give it the Full Monty after Labor Day.

In preparation, some of the righty sites are joining together and forming their our sites...especially Youtube where that is their current platform and vulnerable. Blaze has already moved, Ben Shapiro and friends joined together, Levin making his move.

Collateral damage from the ill-advised sham in the house and the dems epic fail in the Senate -

After Bondi's presentation, Iowa Republican Senator Jodi Ernst was practically giddy as she suggested to reporters that Biden's presidential ambitions may have taken a hit.
"I'm really interested to see how this discussion today informs and influences the Iowa caucus voters, those Democratic caucus-goers," she said. "Will they be supporting Vice-President Biden at this point? Not certain about that."

Biden has tried to turn Republican interest in damaging his political prospects into a strength, tweeting last week that Ernst and Trump are "scared to death I'll be the nominee".

An October poll, however, showed that 40% of Democrats and majorities of Republicans and independents think Hunter Biden's Ukraine dealings are a valid campaign issue.
In a Democratic nomination contest that is close, as will be the general election in the fall, even a shadow doubt could tilt the scales.

Just sayin'

hile various forms of palindrome dates are fairly common, 02/02/2020 has the unique distinction of reading the same backward and forward when written out in eight digits in multiple date systems, according to University of Portland professor Aziz Inan.

“We are so lucky to have such a special palindrome date occurring in our lifetime because it’s so rare,” Inan told USA TODAY Saturday.

For starters, it's an eight-digit palindrome: 02022020. Many palindrome dates are only symmetrical if you write the date with seven digits (1-10-2011) — or in some cases even fewer (9-10-19).

But even more rare, according to Inan, is that Sunday's date is an international palindrome: It works whether you write the date as "Month/Day/Year" or "Day/Month/Year," as many countries do.
Inan calls such dates "ubiquitous palindromes," and there won't be another one for 101 years. After that, you'll have to wait until March 3, 3030.

2) Democrat. DNC old regime cheats and cheat and cheats to get their annoited one the nod. Steamrollers alternative candidates.

You can argue about which party is more corrupt, but in the primary process there really is no comparison.
