Democrat Party (DNC) tweets that Mount Rushmore is a symbol of white supremacy. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Todd Juvinall

Paul Emery is a typical lib. Makes me laugh to read his tripe. What a hoot!

So what would hereabouts look like if Columbus had stayed home? Kinda quiet if history is close to correct. No chance at all for the current conversation in the land of no wheel. What would Keach and the lying hippie suggest should have happened instead?

We are truly, probably, living in the last (not just 'great') Century of man. George has never specified when that Century began, but I'm fully in accord with his assessment that it will, indeed, be the last. I wish it were otherwise, Paul. but your're not helping by spreading your learned version of insanity.

Once in awhile I actually say what I really think, and here we are...

That's not a nazi swastica... it's a Buddhist sauvastika.

Why would you think I'd abandon Rasmussen? I'm not like you, shopping for polls to give me numbers I want to see.

SHELLENBERGER: On Behalf Of Environmentalists, I Apologize For The Climate Scare

Bill Tozer

Well, hell hath froze over. A lib just said he was wrong. That’s one for the record books, even though his opinion piece was quickly deleted.

‘SHELLENBERGER: On Behalf Of Environmentalists, I Apologize For The Climate Scare’

“On behalf of environmentalists everywhere, I would like to formally apologize for the climate scare we created over the last 30 years. Climate change is happening. It’s just not the end of the world. It’s not even our most serious environmental problem.

I may seem like a strange person to be saying all of this. I have been a climate activist for 20 years and an environmentalist for 30.

But as an energy expert asked by Congress to provide objective expert testimony, and invited by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) to serve as Expert Reviewer of its next Assessment Report, I feel an obligation to apologize for how badly we environmentalists have misled the public.”

Bill Tozer

Dr. Rebane. Check spam folder.

"So what would hereabouts look like if Columbus had stayed home? "

That's a good question. Perhaps completely unchanged, there was no reason for technical advancement after all, acorns as food don't give you a lot of wealth or time for other matters.

Perhaps Moctezuma XII and his conquering army would have swept through the place to find people to sacrifice. After all, those hearts ain't gonna extract themselves. It takes a lot of dead people to keep the universe running properly and you can imagine how many an expansionist Aztec culture would need.

The Strategies of Dementia Politics....the cardboard canidate.

“Often Biden cannot finish a sentence. Names are vague eddies in his mind’s river of forgetfulness. He is in a far more dire mental state than a physically failing FDR was in his 1944 campaign for a fourth term.

The earlier career of a healthy Biden illustrates that he was not especially sharp even when in control of most of his faculties. We recall the former sane/nutty Biden of Neal Kinnock plagiarism, his “put y’all in chains” demagoguery, the studied racism of Biden’s riffs about a “clean” and well-spoken Obama, and the sane/insane Corn Pop stories. All are the trademark of a once fool Joe “Biden, who was at least alert when compared with his current catalepsy. If Donald Trump can be ungrammatical, Biden is agrammatical — he simply streams together half-thoughts without syntax and then abandons the sentence entirely.

If Trump repeats vocabulary, Biden increasingly searches for words, any noun, whatever its irrelevance to the point he is making. Biden seems to suffer dyscognitive seizures, in which for moments he has no idea what he is doing or saying or where he is — a tragic, nearly epileptic condition. In scary episodes, the pale, scaly, and frozen visage of Biden appears almost reptilian, like a lizard freezing and remaining stationary as it struggles to process signals of perceived danger.“

BillT@7:55AM June 30, Year Zero.

So what are the odds that Biden disappears at the last moment to be replaced by Her Nibs?

I'd say that's an increasing possibility.

It's a pretty sweet strategy. Crater a good economy via epidemic plus ineffective measures in Blue cities (particularly New York), blame Trump. Set loose street armies to burn and loot while at the same time activate the sleeper cells in the media, internet companies, academia to tear down historic US culture.

President Clinton pardons and/or throws funds at her partners in the endeavor. All Justice Department investigations into the coup against Trump disappear. Cancel culture becomes law, universal surveillance is amped up. Borders open, all currently existing illegal aliens are given permanent residency. Gun laws are radically increased in order to seal the deal.

The existing middle class huddles in their house with a telescreen and an Echo, ordering Chinese goods through Alexa waiting for the knock on the door for their 'privilege' and hate crimes. All they ever wanted was to be left alone.

Well, I'm feeling hopeful.

We have been duped, says Shellenberger. Apologizes for his contribution to the Green Lies and Climate Scare.

“Michael Shellenberger is a Time Magazine “Hero of the Environment,” Green Book Award Winner, and author of Apocalypse Never: Why Environmental Alarmism Hurts Us All (Harper Collins, June 30, 2020). Kudos agreed. But, Paulie responded to a question posed on ‘Cultural Cohesion, its a coming’ by answering in the Sandbox, lol. Still, is a major development. re: BillT@10:51AM

To be fair, I posted in both places. I thought it would be interesting to see a Paul post that wasn't just Trumphate. I had forgotten about Emerianism, which is politics based purely on Trump. Other than that, Green Libertarians just wing it.

News o' the past.

Just how much money did Obama ship over there? I forget.

Bill Tozer

Guess I will put this here since it mentions Mt. Rushmore. Trump take on things.

“Not on everything, presumably. But on the key issues of our time, he is right on the money. I didn’t know about this interview on Friday until I saw it linked on InstaPundit this evening, and I haven’t seen a complete transcript. But The Federalist is a good source, so here we go:”

Paul Emery

Huh Bill? I responded to Scenes 7:45 on the sandbox that read:

"So Paul, is an Independence Day fireworks show 'white supremacy'? Should we tear down the Mt. Rushmore statues. Yes or No???"

Plese correct yourself. We all make mistakes.

Check out Scenes’s 11:09 am. I was in the margin of error, so I got it right.
Different topic.

The upcoming 4th of July: It’s it a big no-no to celebrate the 4th of July this year? Not talking about the COVID effect, fireworks in the dry season, or taking your young child along with you to witness and join in the brutality of the street mobs. No, I mean regular 4th of July celebrations.

Last year Bobbie Cross was shitting bricks and all fearful and trembling that Trump was planning to declare martial law and take over the government with the aid of his military goons. Tanks rolling down Pennsylvania Ave and surrounding the White House!!! The end to our democracy...on the 4th of July.

Where do these delusional wack jobs come from?? Talk about connecting the dots, ROFLMAO.
Oh my. What a total shit for brains.

Anyway, is it ok to celebrate the 4th of July this year. I know how the Leftinistas feel the USA, think of the founding of this great country, and celebrating the 4th of July is in actuality nothing less than honoring White Supremacists...according to the DNC. Truly, the best part of that unhinged lot never made it to a fertilized egg.

Bill Tozer

I see Drudge has picked up the story.

“But until last year, I mostly avoided speaking out against the climate scare. Partly that’s because I was embarrassed. After all, I am as guilty of alarmism as any other environmentalist. For years, I referred to climate change as an “existential” threat to human civilization, and called it a “crisis.”

But mostly I was scared. I remained quiet about the climate disinformation campaign because I was afraid of losing friends and funding. The few times I summoned the courage to defend climate science from those who misrepresent it I suffered harsh consequences. And so I mostly stood by and did next to nothing as my fellow environmentalists terrified the public.

I even stood by as people in the White House and many in the news media tried to destroy the reputation and career of an outstanding scientist, good man, and friend of mine, Roger Pielke, Jr., a lifelong progressive Democrat and environmentalist who testified in favor of carbon regulations. Why did they do that? Because his research proves natural disasters aren’t getting worse.

But then, last year, things spiraled out of control.”...

“I further hope that you’ll accept my apology”.

Rather than accept your apology, seek to change your wayward ways and the damage you have caused. A debt that may never get repaid in this lifetime.

“And in January, one out of five British children told pollsters they were having nightmares about climate change.

Whether or not you have children you must see how wrong this is. I admit I may be sensitive because I have a teenage daughter. After we talked about the science she was reassured. But her friends are deeply misinformed and thus, understandably, frightened.”

Scaring children is not cool. Perhaps your new book will “balance the books” and you will have repaid your debt to society. Hope your book sells well. You will need every penny you can scrape together as your enter your new erased life. I accept your apology and go undo the damage you have done, pilgrim.

And a word of advice: Don’t seek rehabilitation. Rehabilitate means to return to your former self. Now that you have crawled out of the darkness into the sunny side of the street, don’t go back to that evil place your formerly had your being.

Hey, it's easy to justify not destroying Mt. Rushmore... after all, Washington and Jefferson were notorious slave owners, but Lincoln and Teddy R. remain popular even with their white privilege and role in promoting structural racism.

But what about Stone Mountain? The site of the 2nd founding of the KKK and the dedication of the massive carving was on the 100th anniversary of Lincoln's assassination.

Bill Tozer

Mollie Hemingway with the scope on lastest Russian leaks. Seems oddly familiar.

Well, someday Stone Mountain will be coming down. Don’t think the mob has the skills to do the job themselves now, or even getting close enough for spray paint. I guess we know if they tried by the number of bodies laying at the foot of the Stone when the morning sun comes up.

Who knows? It may be gone in two weeks.

‘Press Sec. McEnany Utterly Destroys NYT During Briefing, Walks Out as They Scream’

“ McEnany, for her part, slammed The Times’ “absolutely irresponsible decision” to “falsely report that [Trump] was briefed on something that he, in fact, was not briefed on.”

She did not stop there, proceeding to highlight the newspaper’s abysmal record when it comes to reporting on matters related to Russia.

“And I really think that it’s time for the New York Times to step back and ask themselves why they’ve been wrong — so wrong, so often,” McEnany said.

(ROFLMAO) She specifically pointed out that the paper proclaimed “all 17 intel agencies had agreed on Russian interference, before having to issue a correction that it was only four agencies.”

McEnany also mentioned The Times’ 2017 report alleging, in her words, that “Trump campaign aides had repeated contacts with Russian intelligence,” as well as a 2019 column arguing that “the Trump campaign and Russia ‘had an overarching deal’ that the ‘quid of help in the campaign against Hillary … for the quo of a new pro-Russian foreign policy.”

After describing that preposterous accusation as an example of “the Russia hoax, which was investigated for three years with taxpayer dollars before ultimately getting an exoneration in the Mueller report,” McEnany described the “failed Russia reporting of The New York Times” as “inexcusable.”

Yet McEnany was still not finished with her epic beatdown.

“I think it’s time that The New York Times, and also The Washington Post, hand back their Pulitzers,” McEnany said.

Quote unquote. And she ain’t done by any means..

Respect for the law from a socialist what ya smokin there mayor -

Mayor Jenny Durkan is accusing Council Member Kshama Sawant of allowing hundreds of protesters into City Hall after hours and without following coronavirus health guidelines, marching protesters to the mayor’s home and encouraging protesters to occupy the city’s East Precinct, along with raising a handful of ethics concerns.

In an email to City Council President Lorena Gonzalez, the mayor argued that Sawant, a self-described socialist, is using her position as a city official “in violation of law” and for “recklessly” undermining other people’s safety “for political theatre.”

Durkan cited city law that allows the council to “punish or expel” a member for “disorderly or otherwise contemptuous behavior” -- in this case spearheading a protest at Durkan’s home, which is supposed to be at a secret location due to a state confidentiality program and safety concerns. The mayor has received threats in connection with her previous role as U.S. attorney.

Does anyone actually watch cnn or msnbc? New records for FOX -

Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson Tonight drew a record 4.331 million viewers in the second quarter and 791,000 in the 25-54 demo, making it the number one program in all of cable news among both total viewers and demo for the first time since launch, according to the network and Nielsen Media Research. This comes as Fox News Channel wrapped the second quarter of 2020 with the largest audience in network history in both total day and primetime, Nielsen says.

FNC’s primetime lineup of Tucker Carlson Tonight and Hannity made cable news history with both programs breaking the all-time record set by Hannity in 1Q’20 for the highest-rated quarter for any cable news program. Both programs were the first cable news telecasts to deliver over 4 million total viewers for an entire quarter and bested that number again in the second consecutive quarter.

re: BillT@ 6:49PM July 1, Year Zero

Well, that's a nice little story.

So in addition to squashing the first amendment via 'hate speech' law and by judicious use of internet monopolies run by the Mob...and the striking of the second amendment via Biden's platform of gun control law (check it out: https://joebiden.com/gunsafety/, including putting all black rifles under NFA), we get national zoning law enforced by withdrawal of all large sources of federal funds.

I guess this is the 'change' part of 'hope and change'.

You do have to appreciate the audacity of simply disarming the public. Obviously this has nothing to do with public safety and everything to do with holding power. That, and the huge expansion of immigrant voters you can expect should seal the deal.

Well played.

As discussed in the article…..it's not his plan! The GaffeMaster isn't much more at this point than a doll with a string in his neck that people like Booker, Schumer, and VP Harris pull when they want something.

Scott O

re the Dems firearms plans - it confirms my suspicions that they know they're not going to be able to go door to door and confiscate anything. Most of the blather boils down to taking money out of gun owners' wallets every year in fees, licensing, etc.
Some of the proposals are really hilarious.
If you fail a background check (often this is just a govt screw up) the local police are supposed to 'make sure' you don't then buy a gun illegally.
How is that accomplished?
If you are convicted of a 'hate crime' you would be barred from owning a firearm. And we can see how just being a conservative is soon to be a hate crime.
No more buying 'gun parts' by mail? Gee - could have sworn they promised not to go after 'hunters'.
Per usual, the average voter has no clue about the un-Constitutional over-reach most of these proposals would require. If you can sue a firearms manufacturer for the miss-use or illegal use of the company's legal product, why would this not extend to any company? If you can openly eliminate a citizen's Constitutional rights due to a govt 'finding' (no hearing or court order needed) where does that stop?
They're not so much coming for your firearms as they are for your wallet and your rights.
Just as the 'race' issue is being used now to push a socialist agenda, so will 'gun control' be used to eliminate your rights.

Posted by: Scott O | 01 July 2020 at 09:04 AM

They will probably fail as badly with firearms as they have with drugs! I'm no longer concerned about this.

Lauren Boebert thinks that you are a flabby idiot!

Qanon told me to say that.

" Time to move to Rifle, CO?"

I don't mind the look of it, but it's a tad too big a town.

Besides, it would be foolish to move to yet another state that has a tumor of Blue Mob urbanites trying to build a utopia.

Never say never though. It's easy enough to gauge the livability of a place. BLM protests? y/n. Big homeless problem? y/n. Reasonably compact downtowns? y/n. These serve as good proxies for a load of other issues.

It's a pity that this area only has one out of three, but it didn't used to be this way.

"Seattle Mayor Moves to Expel Wacky Socialist Councilwoman Who Led Protest to Her House"

It only happened when they threatened her personally though.

As usual, in a world of Democratic party weaponized mobs/looting/rioting/burning, it's all controllable until it isn't. Oh well, Hindenberg thought he had a handle on matters too.

fish: "They will probably fail as badly with firearms as they have with drugs!"

Perhaps, hard to say.

I just thought it should be made clear that Biden (or the people with their hands up his ass making the mouth move) is placing confiscation directly on the table as a platform.

It's basically a laundry list of all the anti-gun measures I've ever run into, all in the name of 'common sense' of course. The extreme Left in this country has the bit in their teeth and they're going for it at all levels. Watching the Speaker kneel to the new religion tells you all you need to know, so assume the worst.

It took a pandemic, an insurrection, and the opportunity for Great Depression II to bring Hope and Change to the country, but you can't blame people for trying. WWI brought the benefits of Bolshevism to Russia, we'll throw on a distinctive American twist.

The problem with dictatorships is they have to keep the BS flowing for the ignorant masses and then they look like idiots to the free world who can see the satellite images -

An Iranian general would not rule out that a massive explosion east of Tehran last week was caused by “hacking,” amidst speculation that the incident was an act of sabotage.

Iranian authorities had attempted to downplay the blast—which tore through a missile factory east of Tehran—as a gas tank explosion at a different industrial park. But one official refused to rule out an act of cyber-sabotage.

“On the explosion of the Parchin gas facilities, it has been mentioned that the incident was caused by hacking the center's computer systems,” said Brig. Gen. Gholamreza Jalali, head of the Passive Defense Institution, at a conference on anti-chemical weapons defense. “But until we come to a conclusion on the dimensions of this incident and the claim, we cannot comment.”

The explosion damaged the Khojir missile production complex, according to satellite imagery, but Iranian authorities have insisted that it actually took place at the Parchin industrial park forty kilometer away.

The apparent coverup—along with international tensions around Iran’s missile program—have raised suspicions of foul play.

Botox Nancy has lost control of her caucus -

The House adopted Crawford’s motion to recommit with 224 votes in favor of the measure and 193 votes against the proposal.

This marks the seventh time that the GOP has forced Democrats to amend their bill by approving a motion to recommit. The Republicans’ victory also calls into question House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) ability to control her rank-and-file members from defecting and voting for GOP measures.
Political experts and reporters have previously written that Republican wins on motions to recommit votes serve as an “embarrassment” for Democrat leadership.

If you measure enthusiasm by dollars its no contest -

NEW YORK (Reuters) - President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign and the Republican National Committee raised $266 million (£213 million) during the second quarter, including $131 million in June, a joint committee said on Wednesday.

“The Trump campaign’s monumental June fundraising haul proves that people are voting with their wallets and that enthusiasm behind President Trump’s re-election is only growing,” said Trump 2020 Campaign Manager Brad Parscale.

Trump, who has been campaigning for a second term since 2017, still has far more cash on hand ahead of the Nov. 3 presidential election.

Trump and the Republican Party ended the quarter with over $295 million cash on hand, the committee said.

As usual, I see that Trump receives far more from small donors than Biden does (57% vs 40%) but given who the Democrats' real constituents are I can't say that I'm surprised.

Yesterday i finally glanced at the polls. Trump has a 33% chance of winning. That is after his two week nosedive and way ahead of where we in June and the first week of Nov, 2016.

Yep, I will take those those odds all day long. Means our nation has a one in three chance of surviving the Unhinged Mob that is addicted to outrage.

CHAZY CHOP is no more. Disgusting the piles of trash they left in their wake. Hard to tell the gargbage on the street from the human garbage on the street.

Mary Waaaah! 9:05 - "Republicans - doing their best to hide the truth..."
The publishers have already stated that Mary Trump lied to them. So - how truthful is she?
Bolton has stated that Trump has done nothing illegal.
Are you going to admit that is the truth or is he lying?
Mary smacks herself in the face again.
You know, self-harming is cry for help.

re: Scott Adams.

Near 100% chance that a fatwah will be called against him. Keep an eye on the news.

Good Scott Adams post.

Hundreds of Republicans who worked under Bush have started a PAC to elect Biden. Called "43 Alumni for Biden" the group stated that the Republican Party had ”morphed into a cult of personality that little resembles the Party of Lincoln and Reagan. We believe that a Biden administration will adhere to the rule of law, ensure equal protection for all Americans and restore dignity and integrity to the White House. This November, we are choosing country over party....This campaign is bigger than partisan politics. We recognize that there may be policy differences among us, but we look forward to a time when civil, honest and robust policy discussions are the order of the day.”

What about you all, will you choose country over party?....

Another cyber attack on those mutha mullahs? -

The Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran sought to downplay the fire, calling it an “incident” that only affected an under-construction “industrial shed”, spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi said.

However, both Kamalvandi and Iranian nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi rushed after the fire to Natanz, which has been targeted in sabotage campaigns in the past.

Authorities offered no cause for the blaze, though Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency published a commentary addressing the possibility of sabotage by enemy nations such as Israel and the US following other recent explosions in the country.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran has so far tried to prevent intensifying crises and the formation of unpredictable conditions and situations,” the commentary said.

But “the crossing of red lines of the Islamic Republic of Iran by hostile countries, especially the Zionist regime and the US, means that strategy … should be revised.”

A photograph later released by the atomic energy agency and state TV video showed a brick building with scorch marks and its roof apparently destroyed. Debris on the ground and a door that looked blown off its hinges suggested an explosion accompanied the blaze.

Data collected by a US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration satellite suggested the fire broke out around 2am local time in the north-west corner of the Natanz compound. Flames from the blaze were bright enough to be detected by the satellite from space.
