While everyone is distracted by the riots Durham is a busy boy, bad news for the TDS set. Indictments in time for the election, how delicious. -

Attorney General Bill Barr told Fox News' Bret Baier in an exclusive interview aired Tuesday that Americans will be able to recognize "some" of the names under investigation as part of U.S. Attorney John Durham's ongoing probe into federal surveillance abuses -- and that he is "very troubled" by "what has been called to" his attention so far.

Barr asserted that despite the coronavirus pandemic, the Durham team "has been working very aggressively to move forward," and that there "will be public disclosure" of his findings. Part one of Baier's interview with Barr aired on Monday.

"I think before the election, I think we're concerned about the motive force behind the very aggressive investigation that was launched into the Trump campaign without, you know, with a very thin, slender reed as a basis for it," Barr told Baier. "It seemed that the bureau was sort of spring-loaded at the end of July to drive in there and investigate a campaign."

Well Gregory why don't you keep score and post your info regularly on RR. Compare it to indictments and convictions of Nixon and his staff. This will refresh you:

There were 69 people indicted and 48 people—many of them top Nixon administration officials—were convicted. Toss in Spiro Agnew who resigned in disgrace after taking bags of cash while sitting in his VP desk for political favors.

That's the Republican legacy the Obama Dems need to surpass so support Georges contention that Obama was more corrupt than Nixon .

But he did so anyway. He did so because he is a political hack and ideologue, committed to the imprisonment of Mike Flynn, an innocent man. This underscores how out-of-control the federal district judges are and the lengths to which they will go to achieve their ends. And the moronic media runs with headlines touting how "explosive" his brief is. What a clown show!” —Mark Levin

A headline: ‘Push to dismiss Flynn case is abuse of power, former judge rules’

Gregory

"What did Rosenstein tell us, and why was it so devastating?

Knowing what he knows now, Rosenstein says would not have signed the FISA application to spy on Carter Page
Rosenstein cannot explain the basis for Mueller’s investigation of Trump-Russia collusion since, by the time Mueller was appointed in summer 2017, the FBI had already cleared the key people named as possible collaborators
Rosenstein set out very broad terms for the Mueller investigation. His ‘scope memos’ were widened, not narrowed, after no Trump-Russian collaboration was found
Although Rosenstein was responsible for supervising the Special Counsel, he testified that he exercised little hands-on oversight. He made no effort to rein in excesses
Rosenstein flatly denies he tried to remove President Trump, using the 25th Amendment, or wear a wire into the White House to record his conversations with the President

Though Rosenstein acknowledges serious mistakes, he blames them on the FBI’s ‘lack of candor’. His testimony portends a serious clash between DoJ and FBI officials. This blame game will soon include the CIA, State Department, and Obama White House

Each admission is important in its own right. Together, they are devastating."

Punch, back in the good ol' days of investigative journalism, the scandal STARTED with much less than this. Not after the end of years of courtroom shenanigans.

Mary Wanna

"More than 1,250 former Justice Department workers on Wednesday called on the agency’s internal watchdog to investigate Attorney General William P. Barr’s involvement in law enforcement’s move last week to push a crowd of largely peaceful demonstrators back from Lafayette Square using horses and gas.

In a letter to Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz, the group said it was “deeply concerned about the Department’s actions, and those of Attorney General William Barr himself, in response to the nationwide lawful gatherings to protest the systemic racism that has plagued this country throughout its history.”

“In particular, we are disturbed by Attorney General Barr’s possible role in ordering law enforcement personnel to suppress a peaceful domestic protest in Lafayette Square on June 1, 2020, for the purpose of enabling President Trump to walk across the street from the White House and stage a photo op at St. John’s Church, a politically motivated event in which Attorney General Barr participated,” the group wrote."

Yep, just watch them go ape shit when you say, “voter fraud”.

‘Bunker Boy’ is a good one. Remember the headlines blaring ‘White House Under Siege’, ‘Trump Moved to Bunker’. Tear gas outside, rubber bullets, rioting, fires raging, injured Park Police, the assholes were blocking the fire truck to put out the fire at The Church of the Presidents used since Madison. Burn, baby, burn! Heck, they even attacked and set ablaze the WH guard shack ! Yes, the White House was under siege, the Lincoln Memorial defaced, and they even broke into the Treasury Department Building!! They went after the Veterans Memorial. Thank goodness the National Guard kids protected the Vietnam War Memorial.

So, if Trump is Bunker Boy, moved to a more secure location at the request of the Secret Service (you know, those security experts whose job is to protect the President) and the WH was under siege and attack, then who were those “peaceful” protestors outside?? Hmmm.

One cannot reconcile Trump in a bunker out of one side of the mouth with “peaceful protestors” out the other. roflmao. Hunkering down in a bunker because of peaceful protestors. Righttttt.

On the morning of June 1, Barr ordered the security perimeter around the White House to be increased from one block to two. He had eye witnessed projectiles of various types being thrown at the Park Service and LE with his own eyeballs, injuring something like 17 uniformed LE. Needed a fence put up to block off the burned church. That was in the am. Also, the Park Service needed to continue putting up a fence to block access to the Church, as rioters were on the roof of the building. Unsafe. So, all the cops being yanked off their horses and the injuries to LE mounted...nobody knew at THAT time Trump was going to walk out of a afternoon presser and head across the street.
Those peaceful protestors are the reason the perimeter had to expanded.

And the dumb shits come over here repeating what the Enemy of the People say, “Trump is hiding from the people in his bunker. Coward! Why won’t he face the people?!”
When he does appear and boldly pronounces that if the Park Service and DC police cannot protect DC and the monuments, then He will, more exploding heads. A threat to our Constitution!

What really pissed off the unhinged is that in Trump’s walk with a purpose to the Church, he was showing the world what an utter failure the Blue Staters had done in protecting its own citizens and property. That the anti-law and order anti-police forces were unable, inept, or not up to the challenge. You can’t do it, so I will.

All the peaceful demonstrators had to do was back up one block (asked to do so three times) and the “peaceful protestors” could have continued protesting without being hit with non-irritant containing smoke bombs. Smoke bombs were always a dud (letdown) lighting fireworks as a kid and adult. No bang for the buck.

If those peaceful protestors ever make it to my road, I, too, might think about bunkering down. Not safe to go outside and be near them. They are a criminal lawless element for sure.

The GOP was being led by a novice President, a weak Speaker, a hostile press and lying Schiffs gclaiming there was proof of collusion with the Russians in the '16 election. People like Brennan and Clapper lying their asses off... all playing an ugly game that was supposed to hound Trump out of office ... but it didn't work.

Polls of anyone who'll answer the phone in June don't count... the only poll that does is on the first Tuesday in November, of registered voters that actually cast their vote.

Walt

Funny thing about polls,, no way in hell of verifying.
Like I said. I got a call from a polster,, and gave bogus info.

Paul Emery

Wishful thinking Gregory and Walt. Polls are a sign of trends and movement of opinions. The consensus of all major polls look really bad for Trump at this time. It they continue in that direction he will lose. That's why he's freaking out about them.

Gallup polls show Trump dropping 10 points in a month!!!

Merriam-Webster Will Redefine ‘Racism’ to Include ‘Systemic’ Oppression in Response to Woman’s Complaint

https://www.nationalreview.com/news/merriam-webster-will-redefine-racism-to-include-systemic-oppression-in-response-to-womans-complaint/

“In September 2019, Merriam-Webster announced that it had updated the definition of “they” to include individuals who conceive of themselves as neither male nor female.”

Another dickless move by Webster. How dare they, how dare they.

Seemingly all of corporate America can't wait to put their collective face in the pillow and lift their rump in the air,

.....disavow Punch? Oh why won't you disavow the shocking violence meted out by "peaceful" protestors in Portland? Surely you've seen it?

Remember silence is violence/........

Daily Quotes and a meme (maybe)

Inmates are running the asylum: “One of our nation’s most storied newspapers just had its intellectual independence challenged by an angry mob, and they folded like a house of cards. A jury of people on Twitter indicted them as accessories to a thought crime, and instead of telling them to go take a hike, the paper pleaded guilty and begged for mercy.” —Mitch McConnell on The New York Times and Tom Cotton’s op-ed

Re: The Left: “While it might not be popular to say in the wake of the recent social disorder, the true plight of black people has little or nothing to do with the police or what has been called ‘systemic racism.’ Instead, we need to look at the responsibilities of those running our big cities.” —Walter Williams

Observations: “You may see the wave of conflicting messages emanating from the press and wonder just what you’re supposed to do. But the chaos is the point. You are supposed to be confused. Confusion is a political weapon. Clarity is a shield. If our media and political class can prevent clarity, they can prevent unity; if they can obscure, they can demand acquiescence.” —Ben Shapiro

Upright: “If black Americans are victims of anything, it is that they live in a country that has become a wasteland of moral relativism.” —Star Parker

Good question: “The federal government cannot even run its own limited law-enforcement missions properly. Where does it get off micro-managing policing on a nationwide scale, which deals with community-safety issues that are outside the federal ken?” —Andrew McCarthy

Wandering minds want to know: “My brother wore a uniform, and he wore that uniform proudly. I’m wondering, where is the outrage for a fallen officer that also happens to be African American?” —Angela Underwood Jacobs (“[Angela’s] brother Dave Patrick Underwood was killed recently in the line of duty during a riot in Oakland, California,” The Daily Caller reports, adding, “Underwood, 53, was a federal officer for the Department of Homeland Security and was guarding a federal courthouse in Oakland when he was shot multiple times by an unidentified person in a vehicle. It was most likely a targeted attack on police officers, according to Oakland Police.”)

For the record I: “They’re asking us to pull back. They’re asking us to walk away from you. They’re asking us to abandon our communities.” —New York City Police Benevolent Association President Patrick Lynch

For the record II: “Stop treating us like animals and thugs and start treating us with some respect. That’s what we’re here today to say. We’ve been left out of the conversation. We’ve been vilified. It’s disgusting.” —New York State Association of PBAs President Mike O'Meara

Race bait: “[Systemic racism is] not just in law enforcement. It’s across the board. It’s in housing, and it’s in education, and it’s in everything we do. It’s real. It’s genuine. It’s serious. Look, not all law enforcement officers are racist. My lord, there are some really good, good cops out there. But the way in which it works right now is — we’ve seen too many examples of it.” —Joe Biden

Political futures: “It’s really important that whomever you pick as a vice president agrees with you in terms of your philosophy of government and agrees with you on the systemic things that you wanna change. … I want someone strong. I want someone strong, and someone who can — who is ready to be president on day one [emphasis added].” —Joe Biden

And last… “Have we reached the ultimate stage of absurdity where some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, while other people are not held responsible for what they themselves are doing today?” —Thomas Sowell

Joe Biden

He's right.....and since he has been responsible for a great deal of it during his 40 years as a senator he should immediately drop out of the presidential race and let the democrats field someone else.

From Zero Hedge:

Biden Says He's Afraid That President Trump Will "Steal This Election"

What Joe really meant was...."He's Afraid That President Trump Will 'Steal his Tapioca Pudding' just like last time when they had the puppet show at the home".

Still much prefer "Cocaine Mitch" as his moniker.....but I think that "Cuckold Joe Scarborough" rolls off the tongue nicely!

Gregory writes about the Trump administration that "The GOP was being led by a novice President, a weak Speaker....." 10 June 2020 at 09:20 PM

Well we agree about that Gregory.

How bad can it get for Trump. Now Texas is in play,

"President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden are running neck and neck in Texas, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released on Wednesday, suggesting that the longtime Republican stronghold may be in play in 2020.

The poll shows Trump with a narrow lead over presumptive Democratic nominee Biden, 44 percent to 43 percent, well within the survey’s 2.9 percentage point margin of error."
