Circling the barn....once again.

‘Joe Biden's lengthy history of fabrication, plagiarism and racial controversy’

“In 2019 during Biden’s Democratic primary run, the Washington Post reported that the former vice president told a fake war story on the campaign trail. Politifact rated the story he told as false. Biden has dismissed the criticism.

In March of this year, Biden claimed he was arrested in South Africa while trying to see the anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela. His campaign later said it didn’t happen after the U.S. ambassador who was with him on the trip said the arrest story wasn't true.”

https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/elections/biden-has-history-controversies-involving-plagiarism-fabricated-stories

Hmmm. I have known people like that. From Brian Williams to a former classmate that told everybody about his riches and new Corvette at the HS reunion. He lived in a low rent apartment and never sat in a Corvette. Biden was not shot at flying over Iraq. A snowstorm made the helicopter land at a safe area until the storm passed. John Kerry was on the flight and when the copter landed and Biden got out, John Kerry and the others starting laughing and asked, “What’s Joe going to do out there? Throw snowballs at the Taliban?” That’s just Joe. Always good for a laugh....at his expense.

But, the biggest lie Biden has told is what he has not said. Nobody knows what he stands for, not even Joe. What is expedient, I reckon. Yep, top in his class, roflmao.

George - "And no one, not even the local leftwing lackies, will dare address any of these issues for the simple reason that they have no leg to stand on."
When have we known any lefty here or otherwise to address an issue that reveals their ignorance and stupidity?
Here's the ultimate lefty -
https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/legal-abortion-above-my-pay-grade-says-sr-simone-campbell-before-prayers-at-democratic-national-convention-27998
"Campbell, 74, is a member and past general director of the Sisters of Social Service, a Catholic religious community. She is the executive director of the Network Lobby for Catholic Social Justice, and received her law degree from the University of California-Davis School of Law in 1977."
"Asked Aug. 19 whether her organization opposes the legal protection of abortion, Campbell told CNA, “That is not our issue. That is not it. It is above my pay grade.”
“It’s not the issue that we work on. I’m a lawyer. I would have to study it more intensely than I have,” Campbell added."
And please don't ask her about forced child prostitution.
She needs more time to study it. She's ONLY 74. And she's a nun.
Roman Catholic, I think.
And she's a lawyer.
Fer god's sake, she needs more time!
Dodge and weave - dodge and weave.
It's the lefty dance.
Look folks - it's not about what side you're on - it's forming a comprehensive argument to support your view. If you can't do that...
Then you don't actually have any view at all.
You're just regurgitating talking points from whomever.
Hitler, Stalin, Mao, et al loved folks like you.
If you can't stand and deliver a cogent argument for or against on a topic then please just shut up and please don't vote.
Our Republic depends on an informed and educated public.

Scott @ 9:08 pm.

No, that was the time Hillary was under heavy sniper fire and had to race (run) across the tarmac with head down to the safety of awaiting get-away vehicles

Unfornately for Hillary, the video shows her all smiles slowly greeting and adorning the line of vwry young schoolgirls presenting her beautiful flowers with a local band playing upon her arrival...on the same tarmac greeting her as she departed the plane.

The worse thing about that story is she retold her experience as "Chelsea and I" were under heavy sniper fire and had to rin qcross the tarmac....". She brought her own kid, her only child, into the lie. Just like Biden. :)

No, Joe's whopper was that he had been under fire in the skies above Iraq or Afganistan and has seen hell fire and has been in heat of battle...so he knows what it is like for our soldiers. 'I have been in it, man'...proof certain that he knows what he is talking about. Top in his class.

Biden just strikes me as something of a simpleton, in office since elections in 1972, with the typical grifting mentality of his class. He'll do whatever it takes to get and keep the job.

The main problem is that his current backers are genuinely dangerous for once. This isn't like a political movement in the 1980's.

Scott O

scenes 7:22 - "The main problem is that his current backers are genuinely dangerous for once."
Hell - a huge portion of the American public has become dangerous.
Simpletons like Paul ignore the monster of the current Chinese govt with Emperor Xi and fret about Trump being the big worry.
We have generations of the young coming up who have no concept of our system of governance and why it's important to maintain it.
Freedom and liberty are replaced with free-stuff and licentiousness.
Equal opportunity is replaced with equal outcomes.
Biden or Trump - doesn't matter in the long run.

George Rebane

ScottO 930am - "Biden or Trump - doesn't matter in the long run." Would like to hear more about your reasons for being so sanguine about this election's outcome. You're a reasonable man Scott, so please expand on your sentiment.

George

How about Trumps lie that he was going to release his health care plan in two weeks that was made on July 19. You are silent about that and so many other Trump lies.

"President Donald Trump said he plans to approve a healthcare plan "within two weeks," in an interview that aired July 19 on "Fox News Sunday."

The president didn't provide details on what would be included in the healthcare plan, but he said major healthcare and immigration initiatives would be put in place in coming weeks.

"We're signing a healthcare plan within two weeks, a full and complete healthcare plan," President Trump said. "We're going to sign an immigration plan, a healthcare plan, and various other plans. Nobody will have done what I'm doing in the next four weeks."

The president said he believes the Supreme Court ruling in June that rejected his administration's efforts to dismantle the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program gave him new powers.

"The decision by the Supreme Court on DACA allows me to do things on immigration, on health care, on other things that we've never done before," President Trump said. "You're going to find it to be a very exciting two weeks."

Hey, in terms of socialism, at least this time the results will be different. I guess.

There's a certain clarity when arguments about general .gov policy and/or largely fictitious charges against Trump as arguing points have mostly disappeared.

At this point, it's all about your family's safety. The Democrats are slouching towards Bethlehem as we speak.

Scott O

George 9:46 - The key term here is the long run. Certainly Biden's election will hasten the demise of our nation - no doubt. After just 4 years of what he is promising, the rot will truly be settling in. Looking 15 years out (possibly less-I'm still amazed how fast the disease spreads) the demographics are against a traditional Constitutional fed govt. And a lot of the larger (pop) states are welcoming with open arms the freebie-loving new arrivals - mostly illegal, but hey - what are laws?
It would be nice to say that there are enough folks left in 4 years (no matter who wins the next election) to see the error of socialistic governance, but folks all over the world can't seem to learn that it works great until you run out of other people's money. And those same folk are coming here to join the upcoming crop of no-nothings to free the working people from their chains and overthrow the evil white male system.
Oh joy.

George Rebane

PaulE 1003am - How about your addressing some of the awesomely bigger Big Lies from Camp Collectivism (which includes the lamestream media) that you have ducked for years. Any delay in Trump's healthcare plan announcement is chickenshit compared to what Obama, Team Pelosi, and now Biden are putting out daily. We already have an extremely functional healthcare system as attested to by the thousands who annually come here (legally and illegally) for treatment. Your comparisons are cynically skewed.

scenes

"Any delay in Trump's healthcare plan announcement ..."

My guess is that he (Trump) simply planned to get some experts together and then help lash together some sort of gubmint program (or lack thereof). Given the number of iron rice bowls out there, it isn't like something new is pull-offable. The Obama program is largely just a book of regs for insurance companies that were only sold via huge government subsidies. The continuous coup attempts have made it hard to form policy initiatives of any kind...maybe it's just as well given the nature of government to harm anything it touches.

My guess is that Paul's idea of healthcare goes as follows: The system he doesn't understand is broken and should be replaced by a system he doesn't understand (Denmark probably) which is different than a dozen other systems he doesn't understand (other countries). It's paid for in a way he doesn't understand and provides a set of services he doesn't understand. In short, it provides free healthcare for bar musicians until they go on heavily subsidized Social Security. It's all justified by waving Tyrannosaur arms about them overpaid insurance executives whose income is basically the pocket change under the couch cushions.

Hell, you'd think Paul would vote Trump just in order to assure government gridlock being a libertarian and all. He's made that argument in the past.

So George let me make sure I heard you correctly. You say that Trumps claim to roll out healthcare in two weeks (which he has claimed several times) as I documented is "chickenshit" compared to Bidens lies?

It is not chickenshit to the millions who have no healthcare or to those on Obamacare that may lose what they have anytime if the Supreme Court rules in Trumps favor to toss what we have. There is currently no plan in place to replace it so those people would lose their care. Really, do you consider that a trivial lie if indeed it gave those folks some assurance that they would have replacement care in place as he promised? Also why would Trump say something like that knowing that it is not true.

Don Bessee

Then there is this -

Joe Biden, as the nominee of the traditionally-dovish political party, seems to have an automatic claim to the mantle of “peacemaker.” But the reality is that Biden’s decades-long career in government has left him with a foreign policy record that has been questionable from the beginning. In 1975, as a young senator from Delaware during the end stages of the Vietnam War, he spoke out against the rescue and resettlement of South Vietnamese civilians facing communist persecution.

Decades later, not only did Biden support the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, his suggested solution to keep the peace in Iraq showed only marginally more concern for the people living there than he had expressed for the South Vietnamese. Biden proposed dividing Iraq into three semi-autonomous ethnic and religious enclaves, which would only have further cemented the divisions that fomented the sectarian strife plaguing that country.

Robert Gates, who served as secretary of Defense under President George W. Bush and later with Biden in the Obama administration, had a long body of work from which to draw when he famously wrote in his 2014 memoir Duty that Biden had “been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.”

Last year, as the prospect of a Biden nomination inched closer, Gates said “I stand by that statement” when asked about it by Margaret Brennan of CBS.

Americans will no doubt have a great many issues to consider when they make their choice between Trump and Biden in November. But we should remember to follow Nixon’s advice to “look to the future.” In doing so, we must separate the signal from the noise and look for the candidate who truly has done more to advance the cause of peace.

Trump not only has no friends but he has no family either. His own sister considers him a phony

"In another recording, Barry spoke about her brother's strict immigration policies. "It's the phoniness of it all. It's the phoniness and this cruelty. Donald is cruel," she said.

Barry also claimed in the recordings that Trump did not take his college entrance exams on his own — which Mary similarly claimed in her memoir Too Much and Never Enough. (The White House has denied the claim and called Mary's account "absurd.")

"He got into University of Pennsylvania because he had somebody take the exams,” Barry said. "SATs or whatever.

All he wants to do is appeal to his base,” Barry, a former federal judge, said in one recording. “He has no principles. None. None. And his base, I mean my God, if you were a religious person, you want to help people. Not do this.”

“His g------- tweet and lying, oh my God,” she added.

Maybe he forgot he was told otherwise a year ago -

In reality, Trump said the neo-Nazis should be “condemned totally,” a fact that was brought directly to Biden’s attention more than a year ago.

Biden persists in making the false claim, and the U.S. media did not fact-check it Thursday. But the BBC did (original emphasis):

Claim 3: President Trump said there were “very fine people on both sides”, when asked about a far-right rally in 2017.

Mr Biden said one of his goals would be to “wipe out the stain of racism” and he recalled the far-right protests in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2017 which led to violent clashes and left one counter-protester dead.

He said: “Remember what the President said when asked, he said there were, quote, very fine people on both sides”.

Mr Biden said that after this moment “I knew I had to run” for president.

According to a transcript of a press conference on 15 August, President Trump did say – when asked about the presence of neo-Nazis at the rally – “you had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides.”

During the same press conference, Mr Trump went on to say “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally.”

Most major media outlets — including Fox News — failed to point out that Biden was lying Thursday.

How about a few Kamala lies you claim are so profound. Should be easy or you since you seem to be an expert.

Gregory

Regarding Kamala Harris, one can't do better than the piece written by the McAteers and published in The Union:

"Senator Harris vocally throws around “F-bombs” and other profanity constantly in her berating of staff and others. The staff is in complete fear of her and she uses her profanity throughout the day.

As Attorney General, Senator Harris instructed her entire staff to stand every morning as she entered the office and say, “Good Morning General.”

Never once during the month-long internship did Harris introduce herself to our son (as he was only in an office with 20 paid employees) and staff was too intimidated by her to introduce him. The only acknowledgment was a form letter of “thanks” signed by Harris given to him on his last day of service.

Gregory was also given instructions to never address Harris nor look her in the eye as that privilege was only allowed to senior staff members.

I don’t know about you but this is not the workplace of someone who respects her staff. For a woman of color to have employees stand when she enters the room smacks of a bygone era that we, as Americans, deplore and find demeaning. Furthermore, that she didn’t show the quality of leadership skills or even being a decent boss — much less the “class” to approach Gregory at least once during the month to say “Hi, I’m Kamala Harris and I want to thank you for volunteering in my office” — is really troubling. Finally, what is up with the “don’t look her in the eye” instruction? I know I wouldn’t want to work in that hostile environment!"

"I sure as hell would have told my staff to keep an eye on Wikileaks for any dirt on Hillary," Really, even if you knew any information you got came from Russian spies who were purposely trying to throw our election toward their goon trump? Trump campaign operatives were doing more than just keeping an eye on Wikileaks. As the investigation shows, Stone was the go between.. and, of course, he got rewarded for keeping his mouth shut. Merit not box checking to get a job, what a concept says the First openly Gay cabinet member. -

Richard Grenell, the former Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) and the former U.S. Ambassador to Germany, told Breitbart News this weekend that President Donald Trump making him the first openly gay cabinet member in U.S. history has nothing to do with “identity politics” and simply reflected that the president picks the most effective people for federal positions.

“The one thing I love about President Trump is he doesn’t care about these issues,” Grenell said on Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel. “He doesn’t play identity politics. You know, somebody recently asked me how many gays and lesbians work in the Trump administration. I had to answer, ‘I have no idea. I really don’t know.’ This person said to me, ‘well, there you go — that’s the reason — because we had 2,410 in the Obama administration, the Obama-Biden administration.’ I said, ‘I’d be pretty offended that I was on a list that says here’s our gay and lesbian list.’ Thank God we don’t keep a list. Thank God we don’t hire people because they come out of a box and say ‘here is a black, here is a Hispanic, here is a gay person.’ President Trump, I know him well, he doesn’t care about these types of issues. "I do hope punch can sit still long enough to read it."

If it's more than Drudge Report or a clickbait headline, I kind of doubt it. As a NC thought leader, he's got too much else to do.

I'd just like to hear what a 'lie' is. In my mind, it's not simply being partly or mostly wrong due to ignorance, and it's not claiming that you're going to do something that doesn't come to pass.

You do have to wonder what the Trump administration might have accomplished if the Democrats and their allies hadn't worked so hard to tear it down starting on day 1 (or day minus 60 more like). I don't doubt that the Democrats could have pushed for things they were after. We'll never know. I suppose that his biggest mistake was attaining office at the very same time as this new sort of modern leftist craziness had worked it's way up through society. Any (R) President (or (L) for that matter) would have run into the lunatics.

So far as a Harris/Biden administration is concerned, I honestly don't care whether they are liars and grifters, of course they are. The DNC put up it's most entrenched Swamp Things. It's more that they won't act as a counter-balance against this new and rather evil social movement that AntifaBLM is merely one manifestation of.

Might be on topic, or just more pearls thrown before swine, water tossed on the ground.

‘From DNC Irony to Parody”
The point is not what Democrats say against Donald Trump, or the irony of their rhetoric, but the very fact that their opposition somehow exempts them from the absurdities of their own paradoxes

“All leftists might privately concede that impeachment 1.0 and 2.0, the Hollywood assassination chic, the deification of Michael Avenatti, the 25th Amendment and Emoluments Clause ruses, the collusion hoax, the Steele dossier scam, the Robert Mueller travesty, the Ukraine madness and then Trump-as-virus-spreader, the economy wrecker and riot-inciter, all marked a new low in presidential destruction, all done mostly illegally or unethically. And yet the venom is justified in their minds, as pursuant to eliminating a supposedly existential threat to the establishment.

The point is not what you say against Trump, or the irony of your own ridiculous rhetoric, but the very fact that you are against him and thus are extended exemption from all rules of honesty and the absurdities of your own paradoxes.“

Which brings up an interesting dilemma: what to post? I once posted a long excellent essay in the Sandbox and Dr. Rebane, in his way of stating things, observed in his response comment that
basically I was wasting my time posting a link to such thoughtful long paper In the Sandbox that nobody would read. I never forgot that. In fact, I refrained myself from recently posting Yoram Hazony’s Quillette essay “The challenge of Marxism.” I figured nobody would read it, too long, and anything off the thread of Tangerine Radioactive Nightmare would drown everything else out.

I was heartened that Gregory posted it, folks liked it, and now I see that essay making the rounds on intellectual sites. Thank goodness.

Well, thank goodness Dr. Rebane provides topic posts where jewels can be found, whether they fall on deaf ears or not.

Don 8:41 - from Grenell "“The one thing I love about President Trump is he doesn’t care about these issues,” Grenell said on Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel. “He doesn’t play identity politics."
Ah - there's the problem.
You're now supposed to play identity politics. You are supposed to make sure the person checks at least 1 or 2 of the proper boxes.
The 'best' person for the job isn't the most qualified in the sense of merit or accomplishment - it's how many of the boxes they check.
Get with the times, kids - 'equal opportunity' has gone from Dr King's Dream to dog-whistle white supremacy.
It's 'equity' - equal outcome. All the colors of the rainbow have to be filled in even if the roads fall apart and the food rots in the boxcars.
Just remember that some pigs end up being more equal than other pigs.
Obama and his repressed wife are now working on their second sea-side mansion. Systemic racism has taken its toll on that poor family.
But they cling to the new 'dream' of reparations!
