The lamestream is still providing scant, if any coverage, of the destructive and murderous riots in our cities, instead characterizing them as peaceful protests by “frustrated” young people.  This has the effect of making their audiences sound somewhere between silly and foolishly naïve when they enter into conversations about current events.

Kansas Mask Graphic is latest Big Lie that illustrates how Dems present their ‘science’ with methods already perfected in fashioning their climate change narrative.  “The state’s health secretary fudged the data to make the governor’s mask mandate look successful.”  (more here)

‘A Batscat Challenge’ reminder.  Back on 9 August  2020 I once more countered our leftwingers’ deficient debating attempts, making the case, and concluding with So here’s a thesis to debate – ‘It is proposed that dedicated Democrats, following in the footsteps of their political leaders and notable academics, are in various forms intellectually disabled or delinquent (aka batshit crazy).’  No one should hold their breath that this challenge will be answered.

Nearly two-thirds—62%—of Americans say the political climate these days prevents them from saying things they believe because others might find them offensive.”  The beat toward radical-Left autocracy goes on.

Erratum??  A reader took issue with a statement in my 5aug20 KVMR commentary on voting by mail.  Specifically, it involves whether/how the USPS timestamps postage-paid bulk mail.  I have addressed this (here) with more links to references that extensively report on and discuss the historical tsunami of ballots the USPS will attempt to handle in a timely manner this fall.

Gov Nuisance has spoken.  We now know the updated C19 rules for gatherings and businesses that give us our new 'Blueprint for a Safer Economy' - something we've all been waiting for since only Sacramento knows all that stuff.  H/T to the reader who dug out and sent this very informative site that covers all California counties.  Reade 'em and weep.

[29aug20 update]  Another view (here) on voting by mail is provided by Sen Chuck Grassley (R-IA).  It appears that the USPS is not in a cash crunch as hyper-ventilated in yet another Big Lie by Team Pelosi, and at least Iowa (along with Florida) is ready to handle November's mail-in ballots.  (H/T to reader)

Trump collected more cash and had more viewers than creepy grampa joe -

A senior Trump campaign official told Fox News that the campaign, the RNC, and Trump Victory and Trump MAGAC (Make America Great Again Committee) raised $76 million between the kick-off to the convention Monday and President Trump’s formal nomination acceptance Thursday night.

The Trump campaign’s efforts exceeded those of the Biden campaign.

Last week, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s campaign announced that it, the Democratic National Committee, and their joint fundraising committees brought in $70 million in fundraising during the 4-day Democratic convention. The Biden campaign held numerous grassroots and high-dollar fundraising events throughout the week.

Meanwhile, the Republican National Convention brought in 147.9 million total views across television and online between Monday and the end of Thursday night's programming, according to a senior campaign official.

The DNC convention, as Fox News previously reported, had 122 million total viewers through television and online.

The president is the only one in DC that cares about American workers -

President Trump won a “right-wing New Deal victory” for American workers with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) by stopping an outsourcing scheme as Democrats ignored the issue, a far-left socialist magazine admits.

In July, U.S. Tech Workers, former Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and TVA union workers blew the whistle on the federally-owned corporation’s contracts with firms Capgemini, Accenture, and CGI to force about 200 American workers out of their jobs and make them train their foreign H-1B visa replacements.

In the middle of the American workers’ training their H-1B replacements, Trump stepped in to stop the outsourcing scheme, required TVA to rehire all the Americans they had outsourced, fired TVA chairman Skip Thompson, and pressured the corporation to review TVA CEO Jeff Lyash’s $8 million salary.

The self-described “socialist” magazine Jacobin admitted in a piece titled “How Trump Got His Right-Wing New Deal Victory” that the president filled the void for saving the jobs of American workers where Democrats failed to even acknowledge the issue.

Surveys and poll taken this year show the public is overwhelmingly on Trump’s side of the labor issue as majorities continue to oppose corporation’s outsourcing of American jobs to imported foreign workers.

While tens of millions of Americans remain jobless and underemployed, nearly 60 percent of American adults told Ipsos pollsters in July that they want to halt foreign visa worker programs — such as the H-1B visa — so that Americans are prioritized for jobs. In June, a majority of Americans, including black Americans, said there is no labor shortage.

Let’s recall that heading into the Democrat primary season of 2019, former Vice President Biden was the presumed nominee. Indeed, in May of 2019, a Brookings Institute headline read: “Why is Joe Biden running away with the Democratic presidential nomination?” It didn’t take long after that, however, for Biden to falter.

Joe Biden did poorly in the Democrat debates and on the campaign trail and soon Sen. Elizabeth Warren was leading in the polls. She fell and then Democrats looked to former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. He faltered and then Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., looked like he would take the nomination in February of 2020.

The Democrats then did something unprecedented. They panicked and brokered the nomination in broad daylight, by convincing candidates to drop out of the race, to stop Bernie Sanders from becoming the nominee. Then they resuscitated Biden’s dying candidacy and made him the party nominee.

If we fast forward to today, the Democrats are panicking again, and their panic started right after the end of the Democrat Convention.

Their convention failed to deliver. Indeed, it looks like their convention scared away Independents. In a poll taken by CBS/YouGov, after the Democrat Convention, President Trump raced to a 10% lead among Independents.

If a CBS poll gives Trump that big of a lead, even before the Republican Convention started, the Democrat Party leaders have good reason to panic.

Biden’s polling troubles don’t end there, however.

The latest Rasmussen poll is consistent with the CBS poll.

Oh my, where to begin? I glanced at the comments in the Union’s letters and columns a few days ago and became ill. No exaggeration. Sickened. Such incomprehensible ignorance revealed, spouting off Democrat Fakenews falsehoods one after another so confidently...so matter of factly. Where does one begin? Although I personally never liked the term ‘sheeple’ for some reason, the term applies. I did reach into my saddened soul and had empathy for them. How would they know the truth or even a partial ‘other side of the story’ if they have never been presented with facts nor seen or heard of another side? How do you describe ice cream if they have never tasted? What chance do they have of comprehension...nay, apprehension...to grapple with the truth? Facts, not innuendo? To become informed. How do you separate the wheat from the chaff if all you are given is chaff? They know not so much and what they know is wrong.

Well, let’s start with the scant coverage of the riots and hooligan activity doing on currently, shall we?

EMOTIONAL IN MINNEAPOLIS
The Star Tribune seems to have gotten the memo from CNN on the riots and looting in Kenosha. In its lead editorial yesterday, the paper summed up the festivities this way: “Another Black man is shot by police — this time in Kenosha, Wis. Another night of mostly peaceful protesting devolves into violent damage to property, buildings and vehicles.”

I can hardly wait to see if the editors pull off a comparable take on the scene a few blocks over from their offices in downtown Minneapolis. So far, however, they are resting on their right to remain silent. Like Jack Benny in the old joke, they are thinking about it.

The Democracy Institute/Sunday Express Poll shows that President Trump leads Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden 48 percent to 45 percent in the national popular vote, a one point bump from the two point lead the same poll found the president had in its survey released at the beginning of August. The president now also leads Biden by seven points in key battleground states, a two point bump from the five point lead he had in the same survey.

The important piece to remember is the ballots are anonymous, but the envelope isn't. So the trick is to take the signed envelope, steam it open, and then replace the ballot with one you made with a photocopier.

The trick is to get envelopes that are signed... like with ballot harvesting. Or from friendlies with situational ethics working at the post office.

Ballot harvesting stinks. Just say no.
