‘C-SPAN Had So Many Democrats Calling In Support For Trump That They Had To Change Their Protocol

“C-SPAN changed their open phone line labels after an overwhelming number of Democratic viewers called on Wednesday night proclaiming their support for President Donald Trump in the upcoming election.”

“Before the Republican National Convention, C-SPAN’s open phone lines were labeled as open for “Democrats,” “Republicans,” and “Other” viewers to call into and share their opinions on-air. After Trump’s acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention, however, C-SPAN received an influx of callers who identified as Democrat but said they would be voting for Trump in November.

Due to the increasing nature of these calls, the network adjusted the phone lines to encompass those who “Support Trump,” “Support Biden,” and “Support Others.”

Is it too early to pic the scab this fine work. He usually don’t get out of bed and rise-n-shine until 11:30 am to 2pm. Where is my self-control? I just resist picking the scab.

“No bump from the convention for Trump after his boring epic rant.” who else | 29 August 2020 at 03:51 PM.

Here's the picture RR's. Biden's election support has been within 1 point of 49% since the beginning of June. He's currently at 49.7%, according to RCP consensus polling No Trump slump as of today.

I provide links when I quote polls. Will you provide links for your 10:05?

just to share, from an NPR interview of the important book du jour, 'In Defense of Looting'...I can just see all the liberal NPR listeners taking notes.

Q: What would you say to people who are concerned about essential places like grocery stores or pharmacies being attacked in those communities?

A: When it comes to small business, family owned business or locally owned business, they are no more likely to provide worker protections. They are no more likely to have to provide good stuff for the community than big businesses.

It’s actually a Republican myth that has, over the last 20 years, really crawled into even leftist discourse: that the small business owner must be respected, that the small business owner creates jobs and is part of the community. But that’s actually a right-wing myth.

Creepy grampa joe must have forgotten what he said a month ago much less whats her names declarations -

Biden said Monday — during a speech supposedly on violence: “I am not banning fracking. Let me say again: I am not banning fracking. No matter how many times Donald Trump lies about me.”

The problem, for Biden, is that he explicitly promised to ban fracking during the second Democratic Party presidential primary debate on July 31, 2019, in Detroit, Michigan.

CNN’s Dana Bash asked him the question directly:

Bash: Thank you, Mr. Vice President. Just to clarify, would there be any place for fossil fuels, including coal and fracking, in a Biden administration?

Biden: No, we would — we would work it out. We would make sure it’s eliminated and no more subsidies for either one of those, either — any fossil fuel.

This was Biden’s consistent position through March of this year. In the final debate of the primary, when he faced off against Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Biden promised: “No new fracking.”

It was not the only time Biden made similar commitments.

He later tried to backtrack, telling Philadelphia-area ABC affiliate WNEP in July: “Fracking is not going to be on the chopping block.”

But his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), wants to ban fracking — everywhere.

Politicians can change their views, and it’s possible that Biden has flip-flopped on the issue, but his selection of Harris was widely seen as cementing his anti-fracking stance.

It’s not Donald Trump that told voters Biden was against fracking. Biden told voters himself.

Yawn. Need my morning cup of mud, I reckon.

‘Biden clings to fragile 4-point lead in poll, amid evidence of Trump post-convention momentum’

“When looser "likely voter" screen is applied, Biden lead grows to 8 points (50%-42%), signaling importance of turnout.”

And Minnesota is officially in play. It will make pretty darn hard for Joe the Hair Sniffer if he losing both WI and Minn. Don’t see Minn going from Trump, but it’s nice to give you sumthang else to fret about.

Paul Emery: My Bottomline. Following daily or twice weekly National Polls is a complete waste of time in and of itself. It’s like following nighttime temperatures, cooler or warmer than last nigh. And the State polling comes in whenever it comes in, which can be anyone’s guess, IMHO. Ain’t my thing. Just don’t feel it. Yawn. School daze.

I am sure a daily following of ‘what if’s’ give you days of good cheer and days of fear of impending deja vu doomsday. How long does it take a cucumber to turn into a pickle?

Cheer, baby, cheer. On those discouraging days (for those off the batshit crazy charts as well those off their ever loving rockers), I take your silence as violence. I assume that you......

At least Bubbling Slobbering Joe did not tell those good folks in Western PA and Ohio to “learn to code.” Gotta keep that Blue Wall nice and intact as it was prepared for Hillary Rodclam. The Dem firewall, lol.

One aging man and his Twitter machine changed all that. Second verse same as the first. Love the underdog role, sandbagging with 3 aces.

Lack of self-awareness: “As a country, we must condemn the incitement of hate and resentment that led to this deadly clash. It is not a peaceful protest when you go out spoiling for a fight. What does President Trump think will happen when he continues to insist on fanning the flames of hate and division in our society and using the politics of fear to whip up his supporters?” —Joe Biden

Its must be hard to be afflicted with TDS and suffer the daily doses of bad and worse news such as -

(Reuters) - A U.S. appeals court on Monday, in a victory for the Trump administration, ordered the dismissal of a lawsuit filed by a Democratic-led House of Representatives panel seeking to enforce a subpoena issued to former White House Counsel Donald McGahn.

In a 2-1 decision likely to be appealed, a three-judge panel of U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit said the House Judiciary Committee's lawsuit had to be dismissed because Congress had never passed a law authorizing such litigation.

"Because the Committee lacks a cause of action to enforce its subpoena, this lawsuit must be dismissed," Circuit Judge Thomas Griffith wrote for the majority.

Brian Hamilton has announced he's leaving The Union. No announcement as to his replacement or whose decision it was to leave, or what he'll be doing.

Here's hoping his replacement will not be a sportswriter.

Eyewitness account of Portland shooting. Check it out before youtube kicks it off.

What is this 'The Union' of which you speak? I expect it'll be gone soon enough.

Really, I wonder how much work it would be to do an online local newspaper. Sort of a full-time hobby for someone. Local news only plus the typical grouchy old man editorials. It isn't like small town newspapers 100 years ago had much of a staff.

Bill Tozer

Have they no mercy? Look what they are doing to the poor old man. It’s on tape. Shameless. Should charge the Unhinged Mob with elder abuse at a minimum. They relish in cruelty, being evil and dark and all. I just can’t watch much more of this. Like pulling wings off of flies. What kind of psychos take pleasure in torturing the old patriotic fellow?
Heck, he once in a firefight, don’t you know. And arrested trying to see Nelson Mandela and marched with the civil rights leaders down in the Deep South and was the very top of his class. Watching what the Dems are doing to Lunch Bucket Joe from Scranton, PA, make me ill. Not.

The Democrats led Joe Biden out of his basement today to make a brief appearance in Pennsylvania, without taking any questions. His sadly diminished mental capacity was again on display:

‘CIA conduct during Russia assessment may be next boomerang in probe of investigators’

DNI hints new declassification coming soon. Some want it to be a congressional complaint to the CIA inspector general questioning the Obama intelligence assessment on Russian intention

“In other words, an assessment that was portrayed as unanimous when it was made public in early January 2017 was anything but at the analyst level, according to Fred Fleitz, a longtime intelligence officer who was briefed on the House intelligence committee's concerns when he served as chief of staff in the National Security Council.

"When I was briefed on the House Intelligence Committee report on the January 2017 ICA, I was told that John Brennan politicized this assessment by excluding credible intelligence that the Russians wanted Hillary Clinton to win the 2016 election and ordered weak intelligence included that Russia wanted Trump to win, Fleitz told Just the News......

Likewise, the CIA alerted the FBI early in the Crossfire Hurricane probe that some anti-Trump evidence that dossier author Christopher Steele had provided agents was, in fact, disinformation from Russian intelligence services, according to recently declassified footnotes from a Justice Department inspector general report......

"If the Russians wanted to help Trump win, why were they feeding disinformation to Clinton's opposition research team to dirty up Trump?" the government official observed. "This evidence, if reevaluated, might turn out to be classic Russian mischief designed to sow discord and doubts in democracy."

"I also was told that Brennan took both actions over the objections of CIA analysts. I am concerned about what happened to these analysts and worry that they may have been subjected to retaliation by CIA management," he added. "These analysts are true whistleblowers, and they should come to the congressional intelligence committees to tell their stories and set the record straight on the ICA.".....

“But the release of the report would be significant nonetheless, since both Special Counsel Robert Mueller and the Senate Intelligence Committee have sided with Brennan and agreed Russia was trying to help Trump win.

The belated emergence of evidence — such as dissenting analysts — that calls into question a three-year-old finding would be jarring, especially if it occurred before the election.

What’s up with Kamala Harris’ face?

Bill Tozer

Well, that did not worked as planned. Did the Dems consider using the race card? That usually does the trick.

‘Trump's approval rating with Black voters soars by 60% during RNC: poll’

HarrisX-Hill survey finds Black support increases from 15% to 24%

Hey you black folk. Did you know if you don’t vote for Creepy Joe the Young Maiden Hair Sniffer you ain’t black, you lying pony faced toy soldiers. Can’t blame Joe though. "Rioters posing as press taken by surprise when they were all arrested by Portland Police"

"Sheriff: 205 suspects arrested in Kenosha protests"

he said that 114 were from out of Kenosha. That sounds like a pretty good rule of thumb for calculating how many are in Biden's Travelling Army instead of local evildoers.

I kind of hate it when someone like Biden or Harris get face lifts. It pulls all the personality out of their looks. The Kamala tint change is kind of unfortunate too in a sort of Michael Jackson sort of way. In any case, it doesn't really matter. Biden is an incompetent grifter and Harris is downright evil. Whether someone turned a knob on the back of their heads is besides the point.

re: moi@9:28

It's also worth mentioning that of the 205 suspects arrested in Kenosha, 20 had firearms.

So, am I missing something here?

"Sentencing was held on August 26, 2020 for three of four men convicted of throwing a chlorine bomb at an Arvada Police officer as he attempted to clear a road hazard. The hazard was built by the defendants to create a stationary target for their bombs.

On April 7, 2019 at 10:00 p.m., Arvada police received a call from a citizen regarding a road hazard at 72nd and Beech Street. The Officer arrived to find that street signs had been pulled out of ground and stacked in middle of the road, then plastic wrap had been strung across the road. The Officer and the citizen began to attempt to clear the road barricade when a plastic bottle was thrown and landed near the Officer. He overheard someone yell obscenities at him. When the bottle hit the ground it began releasing heavy chlorine gas. The Officer began coughing, became nauseous, lost consciousness, and fell to the ground. Other officers and paramedics arrived and the Officer was transported to the hospital.

They detonated at least seven additional incendiary devices in the area.

Arvada Police officers addressed the judge at the sentencing hearing, describing the impact this had on the officer, the entire department, and the community. During the immediate search for the offenders, a Code Red was issued for a one-mile radius in Arvada.

The officer suffered serious pulmonary damage and spent months going to medical appointments and missing work and continues to suffer the effects of the chlorine gas.

“These men set up an ambush for police. When the first Arvada officer arrived to clear away the road hazard, he was a fixed target for their toxic chemical bombs,” said DA Pete Weir, “These young men purchased the chemicals and plastic bottles at Walmart, mixed the bombs and then set up their targets for ambush. The impact on the law enforcement community has been enormous.”

the punchline:

"The young leftists were sentenced last week to 60 days in prison and probation for two years. The injured officer still has trouble breathing."

Oregon is an amazing place.

"Breaking: Antifa shooting suspect Michael Reinoehl was part of the antifa protest outside
