Trump is on his way to a wipeout of Biden. Coattails too!

Now that's funny -

Can you provide some links to support your 1:27 contention?

Readers. what usually happens is Todd disappears when you ask for support documentation to his fanciful statements.

Whaaa???? The Queen of the DEMNED gets a moment of sanity and knows when she's beat? Don't want to lose anymore seats from stunt pulling?

I was looking forward to watching her lose her mind trying another impeachment.

Don Bessee

Just read up the thread oh great pony tail of ignorance. LOL

Punchy 143pm

The last question I posed for you, before you disappeared, was how many COVID-19/Wuhan SARS related fatalities would there be had Trump been as perfect as the best imagined Democrat.

Trump now surging in Florida. Bye Bye Biden!

Daily Quotes

Observations: “In a recent Pew Research survey, only 16% of men and 17% of women said that marriage is ‘essential for a … fulfilling life.’ Only 16% of men and 22% of women said having children is ‘essential for a … fulfilling life.’ This compared with 57% of men and 46% of women who said ‘having a job or career they enjoy’ is essential. As we dismiss our Creator from our public spaces, as we exchange love and meaning for crass materialism, we exchange a culture of life for a culture of death. And by doing so, we put the future of our nation in jeopardy.” —Star Parker

Nailed it: “I love the Obamas, but I’m going to be honest. I hear all of the racial statements they’re making today and I’m like, ‘You were in office for eight years. What did you do to change anything?’ You didn’t do anything to change anything for anybody, so don’t come out now talking about it because you had an opportunity [as] the most powerful man in the world, and you did absolutely nothing.” —Herschel Walker

Upright: “Some of the reactions I’m seeing regarding the decision by the grand jury in the Breonna Taylor situation demonstrate what I’ve often said: many social justicians don’t define ‘justice’ in terms of equality before the law, but in terms of preferred outcomes — despite the law.” —Darrell B. Harrison

For the record: “[Breonna Taylor’s] death is sad. It’s a tragedy, but it wasn’t an act of racism. There’s no evidence for that, and if there was, we would admit it. But [the media] don’t care. All they care about is getting people to believe that this dystopia they describe is real. Why? It’s an election year. If enough property burns, if enough public streets are impassible, in the end, people may decide, ‘I’ll vote for Joe Biden to make it stop.’” —Tucker Carlson

Alpha jackass, Part I: “I think you have to always look at party. Party is the religion now in America — especially for Republicans. Don’t look at the fact that [Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron] is black. That does not mean anything. He is a Republican through and through. He spoke at the RNC [Republican National Convention]. He told you who he was. Believe him.” —MSNBC’s Joy Reid

Alpha jackass, Part II: “I think what I saw this morning was a Bull Connor speech in 2020. … Unfortunately, it was being given by a black prosecutor.” —Black Lives Matter cofounder Alicia Garza

Non compos mentis: “The white supremacist institution of policing that stole Breonna Taylor’s life from us must be abolished for the safety and well being of our people.” —Colin Kaepernick

Non sequitur: “All the kind words and lamentations about Justice Ginsburg from the Republican majority will be totally empty if those Republicans ignore her dying wish and instead replace her with someone who will tear down everything she built.” —Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (“That, of course, is not the standard. Under the Constitution, members of the judiciary do not appoint their own successors.” —Senator Ted Cruz)

Braying jenny: “What would Christ do? We always say that. Well, there’s a big difference between what Christ would do and what they’re honoring.” —fake Catholic Nancy Pelosi ridiculing the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast, where Trump gave the keynote address

Demo-gogue: “I beat the socialist. … That’s how I got the nomination. Do I look like a socialist? Look at my career — my whole career. I am not a socialist.” —Joe Biden

And last… “What should be done to address … gross disparities? … The best thing that we can do is clean up our language. That will have the added benefit of straightening out our thinking so that we do not permit leftists to get away with making us feel guilty and believing in utter nonsense.” —Walter Williams

Whitehouse say it will accept the outcome of a "free and fair" election.. but trumpler gets to decide if it was free and fair... which if he loses we know it wasn't.... right?

re BillT 310pm - Herschel Walker's observation should resonate across the land, and especially in the brainpans of self-righteous progressives. Most certainly none of our local liberals would ever touch that little item with a ten footer. Love to see the likes of our self-proclaimed center stripe sitters Crabb and Boardman take a cut at that.

Regina 332pm - Wrong. Trump said he'll accept the ruling of a full SCOTUS on any contested outcome. That's more than your Hillary is willing to do - she counseled Dems never accept defeat under any circumstances. Just like she has yet to admit defeat in 2016 election.

Don Bessee

Very bad news for the TDS set to ignore -

Fifteen focus groups of Hispanic Americans and polls of white and black Americans, conducted by Ian Haney López and Tory Gavito, reveal that Hispanic Americans are the most convinced by campaign rhetoric that opposes illegal immigration and defunding local police departments.

Black Americans, at the same rate as white Americans, were convinced by the rhetoric, Edsall writes:

Another data point they found “even more sobering”: López and Gavito asked eligible voters how “convincing” they found a dog-whistle message lifted from Republican talking points. Among other elements, the message condemned “illegal immigration from places overrun with drugs and criminal gangs” and called for “fully funding the police, so our communities are not threatened by people who refuse to follow our laws.”

As they expected, “almost three out of five white respondents judged that message convincing.”

More disconcerting to López and Gavito, both liberals, was that “exactly the same percentage of African-Americans agreed, as did an even higher percentage of Latinos.”

Dirty FED agents can buy professional liability insurance?
"In one text, an agent speculated that they would be “screwed” when a new attorney general began asking questions about the investigation, possibly after leaks to the New York Times or other media outlets. One text, dated Jan. 10, 2017, read: “we all went and purchased professional liability insurance.” Other texts discussed the rules for reimbursement of that insurance."
That should be worthy of three extra years in club FED.

Libs LOVE to say Trump is a dictator.. Forget what Dear Leader "O" did? Yes,, the things Commie dictators do.

"In 2009, as part of the Obama-Biden administration’s taxpayer-funded bailout of GM, the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) terminated the pension plans of about non-unionized 20,0000 Delphi workers. In some cases, workers had their pensions gutted by 30 to 70 percent.
Three years later, federal documents unveiled how the Obama-Biden administration’s Treasury Department worked to gut the pensions of the Delphi workers despite repeated claims that it was the sole decision of the PBGC."

Trump is about to fix that unjust, taking.

Oh... Who was "O"'s VP? That's right BIDEN......

George Quote from 3:33 about Hillary:

"Just like she has yet to admit defeat in 2016 election."

However this is a direct quote from Hillary's concession speech:

"Last night, I congratulated Donald Trump and offered to work with him on behalf of our country. I hope that he will be a successful president for all Americans."

How does that comment not "admit defeat" as you put it? Sounds like a concession speech to me.

Do you anticipate Trump will give a similar statement should he lose the election?

punchy... you didn't answer the question.

Don Bessee

Sounds like the pony tail of ignorance @543 forgot her sniveling tour line that it was stolen by a bunch of conspiracies.

But there seems to be a solution Walt@506. The fact is that they said screw the non-union members and kill 29 plants not to mention the bond holders.

But LIBS don't give a shit about what the law is.
"After requiring all federal and state legislators and officers to swear or affirm to support the federal Constitution, Article VI specifies that “no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.” This prohibition, commonly known as the No Religious Test Clause, banned a longstanding form of religious discrimination"

Yet that's going to be the fist attack right out of the gate.

Here Lefties!! Another act of batshit crazy futility.
"Democrats in the House of Representatives are planning to introduce a bill Tuesday that would impose a term limit of 18 years on Supreme Court justices.
The legislation would allow every new president to nominate two justices each term and would cancel lifetime appointments."

A: NEVER make it through the Senate.
B: Trump would NEVER sign it.

I'm pretty damned sure it would take a Constitutional amendment. Not some power starved LIB from Frisco demanding her flying monkeys vote for it.

Gregory@5:51 "punchy... you didn't answer the question."

You mean this question?

Gregory@2:12 "Punchy 143pm

The last question I posed for you, before you disappeared, was how many COVID-19/Wuhan SARS related fatalities would there be had Trump been as perfect as the best imagined Democrat."

That's actually a pretty good question.

Say, Paul. How many COVID-19/Wuhan SARS related fatalities would there be had Trump been as perfect as the best imagined Democrat?

paul emery

For a start Trump claimed Trump saved billions of lives with whatever actions he took restricting travel from China. Do you believe that to be true? there's around 8 billion people in the world so "billions" could be 25 to 50% of the entire population of the world. that's quite an accomplishment Gregory.

"Trump made his outlandish “billions” claim at his press briefing Saturday. Based on some models, the COVID-19 death toll in the U.S. was predicted to reach 100,000 to 220,000, he noted. “I really believe it could have been billions of people [who died] had we not done what we did,” he added. “We made a lot of good decisions.”

Say, Paul. How many COVID-19/Wuhan SARS related fatalities would there be had Trump been as perfect as the best imagined Democrat?

paul emery

Trumps own FBI does not in any way confirm voter fraud on a scale that could swing a national election. Here's some direct quotes:

"FBI Director Christopher Wray on Thursday cast doubts on concerns raised by some conservatives that mail-in voting could pose an increased chance of voter fraud, with Wray telling a Senate committee that widespread voter fraud would be a “major challenge” for a foreign adversary to pull off.

“We have not seen, historically, any kind of coordinated national voter fraud effort in a major election whether it’s by mail or otherwise,” Wray testified to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee during a hearing on threats to the homeland. “We have seen voter fraud at the local level from time to time, so my comments should in no way be construed as minimizing how seriously we take our responsibility to investigate such incidents.”

Say, Paul. How many COVID-19/Wuhan SARS related fatalities would there be had Trump been as perfect as the best imagined Democrat?

paul emery

I have no idea what that number would be.

Here is an early estimate from Columbia University

"A study has estimated there may have been 36,000 fewer coronavirus-related deaths had the US entered lockdown a week earlier in March.

The Columbia University research also estimated that around 83% of deaths could have been avoided if measures had been taken two weeks earlier.

It suggested that 54,000 fewer people would have died had cities begun locking down on 1 March.

President Trump dismissed the report as a "political hit job".

The study, which has not been peer reviewed yet, covers data up to 3 May, at which point there had been just over 65,300 coronavirus-related deaths in the US.

There have now been more than 93,400 coronavirus-related deaths in the United States, according to data from Johns Hopkins University."

paul emery

The Hill? LIB rag,,,
FBI still infested with Proggys.

Humm.. "historically" You understand the meaning of that word?

Nothing to see here Emery,, Right?

"Many news media, political activists and social media giants have gotten on the bandwagon that voter fraud is fiction. It is not.

A review of court cases and recent indictments – including one this week in Philadelphia against a former congressman – finds there have been at least four dozen cases in criminal and civil court since the last presidential election in 2016 in which voter fraud has led to charges, convictions, lawsuits or plea deals.

The schemes have ranged from old fashion ballot box stuffing to absentee and mail-in ballot fraud.

In 2019, former Gordon, Ala., Mayor Elbert Melton was convicted of absentee ballot fraud in a mayoral race he won by just 16 votes. "

And more examples if you dare read.

Nope, you keep your head buried deep in denial.

You don't care how Trump loses. Just as long as he does.
If it's a rigged vote, The end justifies the means.

Oh.. Biden busted in even more lies.

Who knew the po' ol' fakenewsmans rancid russian dressing was really a product of mother russia you putin party parrot!!

re: Paul.

So you are saying that Trump should have forced each individual city to lockdown 'a week earlier'? I'm not even sure that there's a legal basis for that. The feds basically supply research through a couple of labs and money (usually after the fact).

As an example, here's NY Magazine from March 1, 2020.

"“We all ask ourselves the question after seeing the CDC guidance,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said at a press conference on Wednesday, “what would we be able to do if this became a much deeper crisis?” So … what will New York City look like if there is a coronavirus outbreak here?"

(updated March 1, 2020) "This post has been updated to note the first confirmed coronavirus case in New York."

So...basically Trump should have forced de Blasio to lockdown NYC when the outbreak hadn't happened yet?

Have you considered that when you blame Trump, you are just full of shit? You have no clue what you are talking about? You have no clue what the federal role actually is?

paul emery

Would it not have been worth it to shut down earlier and save tens of thousands of lives?

Here's the study that Paul didn't read.

The idea is that simulations show that a couple of weeks earlier lockdown would have a measurable change in infection rates...probably a safe bet for any epidemic, but I'm looking through it to see just how they estimate the efficacy of the measures.

You do have to wonder why Sweden (no real measures taken) has essentially the same death rate as the UK (lotsa measures taken). Fewer fat people? I would guess that they are similar in terms of urbanization. Some difference in reporting standards? Perhaps people don't know what they are doing (my bet)?

The amusing concept is, of course, the D. Trump would know to magically jump in a week early and basically federalize state and local health policy. Essentially a form of martial law. All before it was a problem.

This is one of the purest versions of TDS I've seen and I'm rather tired of it.

Hot off the press!!!

Fox news shows Trump with solid leads in Nevada-11 points, Pennyslavania-7 points and Ohio-5 points. Remember, Trump has to win all battleground states and flip a blue or two to win and in these States things are headed the other way. Sad for the RR's but true..

"Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is leading President Donald Trump in the battleground states of Nevada, Ohio and Pennsylvania, according to Fox News polls released Thursday.

The polls conducted among likely voters showed Biden with an 11-point lead over Trump in Nevada, where 52 percent of respondents said they wanted the former vice president to be elected. In Pennsylvania, 51 percent supported Biden and 44 percent supported Trump. In Ohio, 50 percent supported Biden and 45 percent supported Trump.

Trump's 2016 victories in Pennsylvania and Ohio were critical to his electoral win that year. Nevada narrowly voted for then-Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

LOL Emery!! The crap you gave Trump for shutting thing down when he did! He was "xenophobic" "overreacting"(to use your words)
Now you try and complain he did act fast enough.. Sorry,, no bitching both ways.

Emery want Biden to be President. Biden can't make it past 10:00AM without calling it a day.. Of course the Proggy Press is making excuses and flying cover. But what do you expect from the second branch of the DNC?
Will Biden even make it to the halfway point come debate night?
Trump is going to expose that Dementia for what it is.

"Democrats prepare bill limiting U.S. Supreme Court justice terms to 18 years"

"The new bill, seen by Reuters, would allow every president to nominate two justices per four-year term "

Good idea? No?

I believe that the Constitution implies lifetime appointment, 18 (4.5 Presidential terms) is rather arbitrary, you could easily end up with an even number of Justices, no words about adding more seats...which could easily turn into an arms race. Probably lots of unintended consequences.

I doubt you'll see Congressional term limits come up as a bill with any legs.

My own prejudice is to work to lessen the importance of the federal government. None of this would matter so much if it wasn't so all-encompassing.

Now that I think of it, does a federal circuit court make sense? I'm uncomfortable pasting together California and Alaska.

Walt: "Will Biden even make it to the halfway point come debate night?"

My guess is that he will claim COVID, that he got from Hunter, who got it from a pole dancer.

Seriously, if he does drop out, how do they deal with it on ballots? There's probably 50 states' worth of law here. The Harris/Obama ticket might be sought after by their constituency. It's hard to beat 1.5 black women as the Democratic Dream Team in an era of identity politics.

paul emery

It wasn't Hillary leading the charge George. She has no power or influence.

I mean Trump is his own worst enemy and he will likely lose due to his own incompetence and absolute lack of decency or character.

paul emery

Don't recall ever saying those things Walt. Show me a quote or two. thanks in advance .

The next logical step in the Biden campaign.

"BREAKING: Rioters have smashed windows to the #Louisville city library and have thrown a flare inside."

Dr. Rebane @ 7:58 pm

I do believe that in this one particular case, Paul was kidding. Nobody is stupid enough to quote Hillary’s concession speech as she has been....well...it’s a cliche now....as she has been spending the last four years trying to overthrow the results of a democratic fair election. Yep, Paul was just pulling your chain to get a rise out of you. Come on man, not even Paulbelieves that horse pucky.

I never appreciated Paul Emery the News Director’s humor. “Sounds like a concession speech to me.” Good one.
I belIeve it was Paul the News Director who was not referring to the popular vote in mid-Oct. 2016 when he stated that Hillary only needs 15 Electoral College votes and Trump needed all 120 to win. The experts predicted at the time that it would be something like 330- 216 or maybe 303-227. WOW! It just occurred to me. Punchy nailed it. The final result was 304-227 in 2016, Trump over Hillary Rodclam Clinton, the lady with the killer chocolate chip cookie recipes. That’s when he popularity was the highest...as the First Lady in the kitchen.

Paul: "Don't recall ever saying those things Walt. Show me a quote or two. thanks in advance "
You are probably safe. Typepad has incredibly bad search, I mean incredibly bad.

Generally, it was Biden screeching 'xenophobia', this was also about the time that Pelosi was inviting people to large celebrations in Chinatown.

Using the Wayback Machine, we see:

"As a result, foreign nationals, other than immediate family of U.S. citizens and permanent residents, who have traveled in China within the last 14 days will be denied entry into the United States for this time."

This was Jan 31, 2020. Just imagine how much difference it would have made if they had announced it a week earlier!!! That Trump, why, it's outrageous!!!

paul emery

Yes Bill, Hillary lost the 2016 election. You just can't get enough of it. That's your little winning streak. The House caved in two years later and now Trump is on the ropes and the Senate is shaky but still you obsess about Hillary. Go for it if it makes you feel good. This is the place for it here on RR's playground.

paul emery

Anyone catch Lindsey Graham whining on Fox News tonight cause he can't raise any money? He was so pathetic it wasn't even funny. If you didn't see it check it out.

re: L. Graham

"“My opponent will raise almost $100 million in the state of South Carolina,” said Graham. “The most money ever spent in the state on a Senate race was by me in 2014 when I spent $13 million. "

lol. $100M. Just think about it.

Remember when the Republicans were the party of the rich and big business? Those days are over. Maybe KVMR can get some of that sweet sweet Monsanto money.

Bill Tozer

On Paul the News Director. Wasn’t it YOU who went on and on and on about Trump will get wiped out in 2016 and the Republican Party would be a shell of its former self. Dead, relegated to a small regional party in the Deep South or something. You went on and on and on and on all the way on the Yellow Brick Road to the White House. In fact, you are re-playing the same tapes you played in 2016, almost word for word.

No, Paul Emery the News Director of a tiny FM radio station that cannot survive without government handouts, it is not about Hillary. It is all about YOU.

So Paul the News Director, as you are reciting the same exact song and dance in 2020 that you parroted in 2016, why should anyone listen to YOU? Not Hilary, but YOU. Why, I say, should one person listen to you on any matter of import? Why, why, why? It’s all about YOU.

Look at the silver lining, Paul Emery. At least your track record is better than Bobbie Cross’s. The best thing about Bobbie ran down his mama’s legs.

re: campaign money spent (from OpenSecrets)

2008 McCain - $333M Obama - $730M
2012 Romney - $449M Obama - $721M
2016 Trump - $433M Clinton - $769M

Bush was slightly higher than Kerry.

This seems to indicate a thing I've been considering. Something happened to the Democrats in 2008. The switch from representing the working class to selling your ass to the highest bidder became complete. Trump, intelligently, picked up the working class.

Is it enough? It seems to me that a state change (the chemical kind) is happening and it's likely that Trump just put off the inevitable. A combination of communications/internet monopolies, mass immigration, chronic unemployment due to offshoring and automation, the encouragement of identity politics, all leads you to a post-American future. The California ideal of chronic homelessness, income inequality, a multitude of rules, and warring over the government pie will be exported everywhere.

It was nice while it lasted. Watch yer six.

BillT: "No, Paul Emery the News Director of a tiny FM radio station that cannot survive without government handouts,"

You might as well hire Alex Jones as News Director of KNCO.

I suppose that news people just pretend to be non-partisan. Paul is probably too old to bother anymore.

The handouts give me an idea for an interesting research project. You do have to wonder how many Soros front organizations are feeding all of the hippie small FM stations nationally. It could be a parallel effort to all of the DA campaigns nationwide and it wouldn't cost much. Gotta keep that Amy Goodman on the air after all.

Hey, don't look at me. I'm just a reporter.

"A Church in Louisville opened its grounds to protesters to help them avoid arrest during the curfew.

“In 2017, on its way out the door, the Obama Labor Department filed an action against Oracle for alleged pay discrimination against women and minority group members. The case was based on a flawed — indeed an indefensible — statistical analysis.”

When the government has no case, it has a duty not to proceed. The government’s duty is to seek justice. It is never to try to nail a private party by prosecuting a meritless case.

“Yet, that’s what the Trump Department of Labor did here. Oracle was required to spend millions of dollars to defend itself from a ludicrous case concocted by left-wing ideologues.”

‘Investigation Launched After Absentee Ballots Found Along Road In Swing State, Report Says’

“We are aware of some mail including absentee ballots recovered in Greenville, Outagamie County earlier this week,” a spokesperson said. “The U.S. Postal Service is investigating this matter, and we are unable to comment further at this time.”

“The news comes after federal law enforcement officials discovered that some military ballots had been discarded in the swing state of Pennsylvania and that out of all the discarded ballots that had been opened, they all had voted for President Donald Trump.”

“Also on Thursday, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced more than 100 felony charges in an illegal ballot harvesting scheme in a Democrat Primary.”

“It is an unfortunate reality that elections can be stolen outright by mail ballot fraud. Election fraud, particularly an organized mail ballot fraud scheme orchestrated by political operatives, is an affront to democracy and results in voter disenfranchisement and corruption at the highest level,” Attorney General Paxton said in a statement. “Mail ballots are vulnerable to diversion, coercion, and influence by organized vote harvesting schemes. This case demonstrates my commitment to ensuring Texas has the most secure elections in the country, and I thank the Gregg County Sheriff and District Attorney for their continued partnership. Those who try to manipulate the outcome of elections in Texas must be held accountable.”

‘Democrats Pivot To In-Person Voting, Fear Mail-In Could Lead To Problems’

“Democratic politicians and groups are beginning to push voters to vote in person or hand deliver their absentee ballots as concerns grow over what a flood of mail-in ballots may mean for the election.......

Voting by mail has become increasingly risky this year due to a high demand for absentee and mail-in ballots. During presidential primaries alone this year, hundreds of thousands of ballots cast by mail were lost, effectively disenfranchising over half a million voters.“

As NPR reported on Aug. 22:

“An extraordinarily high number of ballots — more than 550,000 — have been rejected in this year’s presidential primaries, according to a new analysis by NPR.

That’s far more than the 318,728 ballots rejected in the 2016 general election and has raised alarms about what might happen in November when tens of millions of more voters are expected to cast their ballots by mail, many for the first time.

A flood of mail-in ballots has caused primary election problems in states such as New Jersey and Wisconsin. In New Jersey, election officials found roughly 1,600 primary ballots stuffed in a bin and uncounted months after the July primary.“

Those 5 or so Texans facing felonies for fraudulent mail in ballot schemes should all move to California. Ballot harvesting is legal here.

FYI: One of the people who was arrested in Texas was the Democrat who won the primary race, roflmao.

I read this lady’s column occasionally to keep in touch with my feminine side.

Ammo Grrrll has a request: PLAY IT AGAIN, NAN! She writes:

.....“It is my firm belief that before the Basket of Deplorables speech – and, as a writer, I will go to my grave wondering, “Why a BASKET?” — Hillary was probably coasting, or in her case, coughing and stumbling, to victory. What, one wonders, was the point of it? Her leftie loonies were already convinced we were horrible, stupid, smelly morons with bad teeth. Who was it aimed at? It was a self-indulgent piece of red meat thrown to her slobbering worshippers, even though many of them are vocal vegans, and it made Normal America really mad.

She lost. Let’s all just take a minute and go to YouTube to relive that wonderful November night. And then have a cigarette. Are you back? So any halfway-smart “consultant” would have to say, “ixnay on the insults, kids.” But heck no, they doubled down! For every bleepin’ minute of the last four years! Hate never sleeps. Derangement never takes a holiday.

A scrawny pretend “comic” in her 60’s trots out a bloody severed head of the President and is shocked when people do not laugh. Heck, she was used to getting millions without ever once being funny, so what happened this time? Don’t Americans LOVE beheading? Another humorless harridan calls the beautiful daughter of the President a “feckless bad c-word” and kept her job. The next day an elderly member of the Fonda clan consulted a Thesaurus and found another unseemly word for female genitalia to try to top the harridan. An old Italian gnome in lift shoes graced the Oscars with the brilliant riposte “EFF Trump!” And on it went. Rob Reiner alone could fill an entire course on Abnormal Psychology.

And Nancy “Good Morning” Pelosi, in whose odd, muttering mouth butter would not melt, has had to go waaaay off the rails to come up with something worse than “deplorable.” And, by Jove, she found it! Trump, his GOP allies, and supporters are “Domestic Enemies of the State.”

If there’s one thing we Americans love more than gratuitous insults, it’s some babbling Botoxed billionaire decreeing rules for thee but not for me. Tens of thousands of people have had their businesses destroyed with the one-two punch of the riots and this endless lockdown. Cooperative Americans have tried hard to wear masks, especially during the early weeks when we were all tasked with “flattening the curve.” In the halcyon days before 200 MILLION of us perished before Joe Biden finished reading his Teleprompter. Sad.

Then Nattering Nan gets “set up” by someone grabbing her mask and forcibly preventing her from wearing it in her illegal hair appointment. Even Don Lemon said, “Why didn’t she just apologize?”

Want to see how this stuff plays in America? Go into the bar at Riscky’s in Fort Worth and tell the first person you see that his daughter is a feckless c-word. Tell his black friend at the next table that if he doesn’t vote for the doddering, corrupt, white imbecile at the top of the ticket, he ain’t black. Come to my Dusty Little Village and call the Pinal County Sheriff a Domestic Enemy of the State. Be sure to bring an I.D. so people know where to locate your next of kin.

It’s not WORKING, Democrats! You learned nothing. You’re going to lose again.”

it being Frīġedæġ and all, James Howard Kunstler speaks:

"History-the-trickster has paradoxically anointed the Great Disrupter, Mr. Trump, as the agent of order while the Democrats seek to bring chaos into every quarter of American life, a party of shrieking “Karens” and men acting like women. Such as: Tom Friedman of The New York Times mewling like a little girl to Anderson Cooper on CNN Thursday night that he was “living in terror,” that “everybody should be terrified,” because Mr. Trump “refuses to commit to accepting the election results.”

Is that so? I think it was Hillary Clinton who declared just a few weeks ago that “Joe Biden should not concede the election under any circumstances” — for instance, the circumstance that he loses the election. Of course, Mr. Trump, troll supremo, is simply punking his adversaries by proposing to play fair, that is, to play by the same rules they play by. And this only causes the Democrats to retreat into the chaos that is their comfort zone, where they hop up and down like fourteen-year-old girls in a tantrum. ...."

I did like this response from the Kunstler column..

"“History-the-trickster has paradoxically anointed the Great Disrupter, Mr. Trump, as the agent of order while the Democrats seek to bring chaos into every quarter of American life…”

Well put Jim. Half the country (a lot less by now), is indulging in Jungian psychological projection: where they project their own evil side upon their enemy. I am simply gobsmacked at how people can actually believe that Trump is trying to steal the elections after the Democrats voted for the guaranteed chaos which is mail-in-voting. Educated people believe this in all earnestness! How can they or anyone else every take themselves seriously again after such an insane inversion of facts and logic? You even had an economics professor on your KunstlerCast two episodes ago who thought it was the mythical “right wing” which was rioting in Democrat cities.

Perhaps the last few months have been a blessing in disguise. Like someone possessed by a demon who never before showed any signs of it, but now convulses in a macabre fit of hallucination and malevolence, the Democrats have finally revealed their true nature to the entire nation. What a spectacular and grotesque public display it’s been – mob violence, statues of America’s heroes being torn down, America’s values and its founding fathers being being slandered, police defunded, rioting, violence, murder – all of it with the Democrats’ approval. Americans (hopefully more than half the nation) are finally opening their eyes and seeing for the first time who their real enemy is."

DEMS are not going to like this one bit!

Trump to designate the KKK (one of the DEMs FIRST organizations) and ANTIFA "KKK 2.0" (Their radicalized basement dwellers),,, TERRORISTS.

"President Donald Trump will announce a $500 billion plan for black America and designate both the Klu Klux Klan and antifa as terrorist organizations, Fox News reported Friday.

Trump is expected to make the announcements Friday afternoon at his “Black Economic Empowerment” event in Georgia. His plan reportedly would also designate lynching as a national hate crime, according to Fox News. The report says Trump will pledge to “increase access to capital in black communities by nearly $500 billion.” "

Back at ya Lefties,, Now Trump has been anti Black just how?

Paul Emery

Looks like Trumps pathetic desperate move to pack the Supreme Court before the election is very unpopular. this will surely translate to more votes for Biden.

"A majority of Americans believe the winner of this year’s election should determine the successor to the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll released Friday.

Of those surveyed, 57 percent favored delaying the process until after the election, compared with only 38 percent who said Ginsberg's seat should be filled before the election, as President Donald Trump and Senate Republicans have announced plans to do.

That comports with other polling data on the issue. A POLITICO/Morning Consult survey released earlier this week similarly found that half of those polled believed the election winner should get to nominate Ginsburg's replacement. A Reuters/Ipsos poll found that more than 60 percent of Americans agreed the winner should have the right to choose the next justice, and a Rasmussen Reports survey reported that 51 percent of “likely voters” supported Trump leaving the seat vacant until the election."

Todd Juvinall

Paul Emery is ignorant about what "packing" the SCOTUS means. And he is supposedly a "journalist". No wonder his screeds here are so laughed at for their veracity. Pathetic.

"51% of Liberals".... There.. Fixed it for you Emery.

Here is 'cheat by mail "fo you Emery,
"Over 1,000 Virginia voters who sought an absentee ballot to vote received an additional ballot in the mail, raising further concerns about possible electoral fraud in the November election."
You can bet many a LIB would fill them both out.

(that's hippie-speak for 'appoint a justice')

You probably need a better word than 'pack' though just so you can write better screeds.

Upright: “The trend we are seeing of ripping families, friendships and other relationships apart because of disagreements over the direction of government is perhaps the best proof that more government entanglement in our lives is not a good thing. If we get to the point where government matters more than the people who should matter most, then it matters too much.” —Laura Hollis

For the record: “[Donald Trump] got it right [on China]. I mean, I think it was the most significant shift in U.S. foreign policy at least since the end of the Cold War.” —former National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster

Pot calling the kettle black: “Trump’s refusal to commit to the peaceful transfer of power is the behavior of a desperate would-be dictator who’d cling to office even if it meant destroying our democracy. It’s pathetic. But because he is the president, we should take his threat seriously.” —Hillary Clinton (“Hillary Clinton says Biden should not concede the election ‘under any circumstances.’” —NBC News headline, August 26)

And last… “If you actually look at what [Democrats] are saying and what the deeper implications are here, it’s there is a right way … and a wrong way to be black. Ironically … that’s the very definition of racism, and it’s coming from the liberals who like to say that they see racism everywhere but they can’t recognize it when it’s coming out of their own mouth.” —Candace Owens

Barry Pruett

The reason Republicans like Trump is that he doesn’t give a shit about politics. He’s going to do what he’s gonna do. And even if Trump doesn’t get reelected, he fundamentally changed the judiciary. Trump has appointed 1/3 of the judiciary to lifetime appointments. These appointments (and the one tomorrow) will have a lasting impact on America for two generations. DJT is the man for me. Lol.

Talk about peaking at the right time! -

President Donald Trump has experienced ten straight days of approval ratings at or above 50 percent, according to a Rasmussen poll.

The Rasmussen poll released Friday showed that 52 percent of likely voters approve of Trump’s job performance while 48 percent disapprove.

As reporter Paul Bedard noted Friday, Trump earned a 51 percent approval rating on September 14 which has not fallen below 50 percent in ten days — it was followed by a rating of 51 percent, 52 percent, 51 percent, 53 percent, 51 percent, 50 percent, 50 percent, 52 percent, and 52 percent.

That’s the longest job approval streak that Trump has experienced since the Inauguration in 2017.

By the way Todd, you never responded with a link with verification as to why you feel Trump will win the election You write "Trump is on his way to a wipeout of Biden. Coattails too!" Does that mean the Senate and House of Reps as well a State and local elections?

paul emery

That's one poll Don (Rasmussen). The others don't reflect that at all as I have already documented.

Only one poll that matters Emery,, can you tell us which one?

Trump comes out with "TrumpCare".
Part 1 of Trump’s plan is an executive order declaring Trump’s support for a law that already exists. On Sept. 25, Trump signed an order declaring that it’s the policy of the U.S. government to protect people with preexisting conditions.
Part 2 of Trump’s health care plan is a request to Congress to pass legislation banning surprise medical bills.
Part 3 is some free money for seniors, if Trump can find $6 billion somewhere and reappropriate it without provoking a lawsuit. Trump says he’ll send 33 million seniors a $200 discount card to defray the cost of prescription drugs - AKA buy some votes with Gift Cards.

"Beacon Policy Advisors called the new measures “several of the most bizarre executive orders that he has yet released. Regarding pre-existing conditions, Trump’s order is perhaps the most overblown of his whole term thus far. While these executive orders may give the president ammunition to use against Biden during the upcoming presidential debates, we expect that it will only appeal to the lowest of low information voters.”

Another. "It's OK when we the ilite do it."

"SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s husband, University of California Regent Richard Blum, was named Thursday by the state auditor's office as one of the regents involved in admissions scandal where UC wrongly admitted dozens of wealthy, mostly white students as favors to well-connected people."

Rules? WE don't need no stink'n rules"
"In one case, a regent unidentified in the audit sent an “inappropriate letter of support” directly to the UC Berkeley chancellor on behalf of a student with only a 26% chance of winning a spot off the wait list, despite the policy prohibiting efforts by regents to influence admissions decisions by going around the regular process. The applicant was admitted."

Now for the admission of guilt,,,
"Blum told the San Francisco Chronicle on Thursday that he’s done nothing wrong and that he has used his clout to get friends and family into the elite public system for years.

“I did it a bunch of times,” Blum said, adding that he has never considered it a problem to write recommendation letters bypassing the traditional admissions process. A policy prohibiting such influence has been in place throughout Blum’s 18-year tenure on the Board of Regents,"

“The world may need to resort to lockdowns again—this time to tackle a climate emergency,” explains an editorial at MarketWatch, which, along with the Wall Street Journal, is a subsidiary of Dow Jones & Company, owned by New Corp.

OPINION: We may need climate lockdowns to halt climate change, Mariana Mazzucato writes. That might mean governments limiting private vehicle use, banning consumption of red meat, etc.

paul emery

this is what I mean by "packing" George
Don't you find it a bit hypocritical for the Republicans to take a stand that it was not ethical or proper for the party in the white House to fill a Supreme Court vacancy in the final year of a term and then with only 5 weeks before an election decide to fill the seat with their own choice. Here's a quote from Lindsey Graham:

“So if a vacancy occurs in their last year of their first term, guess what? You will use their words against them. I want you to use my words against me. If there’s a Republican senator in 2016 and a vacancy occurs in the last year of the first term, you can say, ‘Lindsey Graham said let’s let the next president, whoever it might be, make that nomination, and you can use my words against me and you’d be absolutely right.

“We’re setting a precedent here today, Republicans are, that in the last year – at least of a lame duck eight-year term, I would say it’s gonna be a four-year term – that you’re not gonna fill a vacant seat of the Supreme Court based on what we’re doing here today. That’s gonna be the new rule.”

George Rebane

PaulE 513pm - Not at all Paul. I'll leave you with an exercise, can you tell how then was different from now?

Don Bessee

That's a big shift and what's her name just sung their praises today. Now how might that impact the election? hmmmmmm-

And Emery wants us to believe your ballot is safe with the postal service.
"A Democrat operative says the United States Postal Service (USPS) workers who despise President Trump will sometimes help election fraudsters by throwing in the garbage mail-in ballots from Republican-heavy neighborhoods."

" a Democrat operative told the New York Post‘s Jon Levine a number of stories in which insiders like him lead teams of fraudsters to commit election fraud by paying homeless voters off, taking advantage of the elderly, posing as registered voters, and printing up fake ballots."

Just some lite reading for "no voter fraud" Emery.

But you go right ahead and whine about Trump's Constitutional responsibility picking a new Justice

Emery needs to comprehend what a lame duck President is.
Trump isn't. His boy "O" was, wth Repubs holding the Senate.
Emery's boy "O" did his part. He made a nomination. The game ended there for LIBS.
So Emery, show in the rule of law where Repubs had an obligation to confirm "O"'s pick. (good luck with that)

Just like today. Trump has made his nomination the rest is up to the Senate.

paul emery

I don't have time to guess what you think was different. Help me out with your insight on this. I can include other Republican quotes if you need them.

Emery's BLM gets another win! So let Portland burn.

Now when did blake lies matter get permits to riot?

"The City of Portland denied the right-wing Proud Boys group a permit to protest at Delta Park on Saturday, citing coronavirus restrictions — However, the city has failed to halt the nightly Black Lives Matter and Antifa protests that continue to grip the city."

You have a win Emery,, savor it.

RE: Walt 6:ll Totally word of mouth Walt. Show me indictments, arrests, trials and convictions and we'll talk. Trumps own FBI Chief says it's not a problem of any stature.

Robert Cross

The reason Republicans like Trump is that he is dumber than a box of rocks just like they are. He views women as sexual toys, fiction as fact, laws as something to try and get around, lying to the pubic as SOP, money as the only thing that matters, soldiers who grave their lives as "losers and suckers" while he avoided military service with fake bone spurs, vigilante goon squads as patriots, the constitution as an unnecessary restriction on his power, loyalty over competence, the election as a phony farce, etc. etc. Yet people like you all cheer him on... what does that say about who you are?

paul emery

Here's Sen Tom Cottons opinion in '16. What is different about '20?

“In a few short months, we will have a new president and new senators who can consider the next justice with the full faith of the people. Why would we cut off the national debate on the next justice? Why would we squelch the voice of the populace? Why would we deny the voters a chance to weigh in on the make-up of the Supreme Court?” March 16, 2016

paul emery

One more George

From Senator Chuck Grassley

No. “A lifetime appointment that could dramatically impact individual freedoms and change the direction of the court for at least a generation is too important to get bogged down in politics. The American people shouldn’t be denied a voice. Do we want a court that interprets the law, or do we want a court that acts as an unelected super legislature? This year is a tremendous opportunity for our country to have a sincere and honest debate about the role of the Supreme Court in our constitutional system of government.” March 16, 2016
