[Heard of the new leftwing propaganda wave – there is nothing abnormal or extraordinary or illegitimate about elections the results of which are not known for days or weeks after election day. That is their newest Big Lie. For at least the last two centuries America’s election results have been known to the public on the eve of election day or the day after. There has been one exception to that (2000 – Bush2 v Gore) during all this time, and other developed nations have fared equally with their election results. Given Trump’s recent traction in the polls, the Democrats have now started to prepare us for Bumblebrain’s possible loss in the ballot count, and their Plan B of a subsequent drawn out litigation process to win in the courts. gjr]
I had a comment stuck in "moderation" at The Union's viafoura commenting pages...
"It was from a sermon:
“Do you know that Negroes are 10 percent of the population of St. Louis and are responsible for 58% of its crimes? We’ve got to face that. And we’ve got to do something about our moral standards,” Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. told a congregation in 1961. “We know that there are many things wrong in the white world, but there are many things wrong in the black world, too. We can’t keep on blaming the white man. There are things we must do for ourselves.”
Not very "woke"."
Yes, it was from a sermon of Martin Luther King, Jr., made in 1961. And no, MLK was not very woke.

Creepy grampa joe just ain't got it no more man -
Joe Biden’s former White House stenographer said the vice president’s public speaking ability has deteriorated significantly since leaving office to the point where he’s "not the same Joe Biden."
"It is a complete difference from what he was in 2017," Mike McCormick, who worked as a White House stenographer for 15 years and with Biden from 2011 to 2017, told the Washington Free Beacon in an interview. "He’s lost a step and he doesn’t seem to have the same mental acuity as he did four years ago."
"He doesn’t have the energy, he doesn’t have the pace of his speaking," McCormick said. "He’s a different guy."
McCormick—who often traveled with Biden and transcribed his speeches, public conversations with foreign leaders, and off-the-record media briefings for the official White House record—said the vice president had a talent for connecting with audiences when he was in office and almost always veered off script from his pre-written speeches.
Biden’s physical stamina and cognitive health have come under scrutiny during the 2020 election, due to a series of speaking appearances in which the 77-year-old has appeared to lose his train of thought, struggled to finish a sentence, or forgotten where he is.
"He’d just make a big joke out of it, and go straight from the hip. And notice, he’s not doing that anymore," he said. "He read that [Democratic National Committee speech] verbatim … it’s not Joe Biden anymore."

Nailed it: “At this point you have to be a total … idiot to not realize the press and social media are the ones stoking racial division.” —Scott Adams
And more quotes
Insight: “Unlimited power is apt to corrupt the minds of those who possess it.” —William Pitt Sr. (1708-1778)
For the record: “According to what [the Atlantic] article said, the president made disparaging remarks about soldiers and people buried in the cemetery in connection with the decision for him not to go to the ceremony that was planned that afternoon, and that was simply false. I don’t know who told the author that, but that was false.” —John Bolton
Re: The Left: “[This is] the Left’s theory: It’s my fault if you can’t cope with news you don’t like. It’s not on you to control yourself; it’s on me to factor in your instability before opening my mouth. That I’m playing with fire is the offense; that you are the fire is to be overlooked, because you’re on fire over all the right things.” —Andrew McCarthy
Political futures: “By depicting Trump as someone who doesn’t respect the military, and has actually disparaged military service, the mainstream media is trying to increase the likelihood that the military will back the Democrats if there is a post-election dispute over who shall be president as of January 20, 2021.” —Paul Mirengoff
Nailed it: “At this point you have to be a total … idiot to not realize the press and social media are the ones stoking racial division.” —Scott Adams
Friendly fire: “Trump is right, the 1619 Project promotes fake history and if Democrats keep trying to make Americans feel ashamed of Independence Day and back BLM protesters who scream at white diners, Biden will be history too.” —Piers Morgan
Non compos mentis: “As we speak, we are in the midst of an ongoing uprising over centuries of racial neglect and oppression. We can’t talk about the protesters in Minneapolis or Kenosha, or sports teams nationwide, without first looking inward. We maintain a system that binds millions into desperate poverty, a system that doesn’t provide the most basic necessities, like food, shelter, and medicine. Whether they are brutalized by police, by austerity economics, or by politicians who simply do not care about us, our nation is crying out desperately for change. We need to fundamentally change the way our society treats its most vulnerable because this has gone [on] long enough.” —Rep. Ilhan Omar
Lack of self-awareness: “Over generations, working people across America built the middle class and secured progress for hard-working families. House Democrats are unified in our commitment to America’s working families. Happy #LaborDay!” —Nancy “Special Rules” Pelosi
And last… “If Biden wins, China wins, because China will own this country.” —Donald Trump

*smacks head*. Of course, that's what this is all about. Smart move.
I'll trot out a Malcolm X quote:
“The white liberal is the worst enemy to America, and the worst enemy to the black man. Let me explain what I mean by the white liberal. In America there is no such thing as Democrat or Republican anymore. In America you have liberals and conservatives. The only people living in the past who think in terms of I’m a Democrat or Republican, is the American Negro. He’s the one that runs around bragging about party affiliation. He’s the one that sticks to the Democrat or sticks to the Republican. But white people are divided into two groups, liberals and conservative. The Democrats who are conservative, vote with the Republicans who are conservative. The Democrats who are liberal vote with the Republicans that are liberal. The white liberal aren’t white people who are for independence, who are moral and ethical in their thinking. They are just a faction of white people that are jockeying for power. The same as the white conservative is a faction of white people that are jockeying for power. They are fighting each other for power and prestige, and the one that is the football in the game is the Negro, 20 million black people. "
https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/8869214-the-white-liberal-is-the-worst-enemy-to-america-and
The only thing I might take issue with is at the end, where the liberal is fox and conservative is wolf to the black man. Generally, I'd say that at worst the conservatives are indifferent.

Heck, I remember in February when Trump cut short an appearance (and the press jumped on that as not caring about whatever group it was) to race to Dover to properly greet in a dignified respectful solemn matter the bodies of two soldiers killed in Afghanistan. He consoled the families off camera and each one in person.

Schweizer said, “Joe Biden has positioned himself for most of his career [as a] more centrist Democrat. He was not a George McGovern Democrat. He was not a Jimmy Carter Democrat. He was Bill Clinton-like Democrat. Along comes Kamala Harris [with] a voting record to the left of Bernie Sanders — particularly when it comes to issues that are front and center right now, [such as] race relations, the police, and issues like reparations.”
Harris’s political positions risk alienating suburban Democrats, speculated Schweizer. He said, “She is very very outspoken and vocal in a way that is probably not helpful from the standpoint of the Biden campaign in appealing to suburban voters.”
Schweizer remarked, “Part of my theory is that they’re keeping [Harris] off the campaign trail because they don’t want her out there saying the kinds of things that she has said in the past, because it will scare a lot of moderate voters.
Biden’s “physical feebleness” is exaggerated in contrast to Harris’s well-being, Schweizer noted. He suspected that Biden’s political staffers seek to minimize this exposure by limiting Harris’s public appearances.
Harris refused to take questions from union workers and black business owners at a “roundtable discussion” in Milwaukee, WI, on Tuesday. While wearing a mask, Harris, said, “I think we’re all done here” when invited to a question and answer session.

Hey Don down in South County. I went today to the SPD Sawshop in Nevada City. Folks told me their power was out. Odd, no outages here. Then I went to the Brunswick Safeway....first time since the Plague hit and the combat toilet paper hoarding. Store was half empty, parked right in front. Guess all the good folks in NC and parts of GV were all discombobulated with fear about the smoke coming from Plumas County and are jamming up the 911 phone lines asking about all the smoke and where is it coming from and freaking out. Too funny. No fires in Nevada County, but they don’t FEEL safe. Make scary feelings go away, lol.
Best thing about my maiden trip to the land with no power was the places I went were empty. Perfect for the discriminating buy-n-bye shopper.

Trump lied, people died....
"‘This is deadly stuff’: Tapes show Trump acknowledging virus threat in February
"President Donald Trump acknowledged the “deadly” nature of the coronavirus earlier this year in a series of recorded interviews with The Washington Post’s Bob Woodward, even as Trump publicly sought to dismiss the disease’s threat to Americans.
Recounting a conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Trump told Woodward on Feb. 7 that the coronavirus is “more deadly than your, you know, your — even your strenuous flus.”

“This is deadly stuff”. Wow. Another hot off the TDS press Orange Man Bad scandal sure to shake the foundations of the Earth. That Trump is despicable, I tell ya.
What happened to the BOMBSHELL surprise about World War I dead soldiers? Man, that one was great. Had me glued to my chair. Silly Bill. That was just the weekend news cycle. That was yesterday, this is now!
I bet we will be treated to a wave of new books and whispers and all sorts of shocking barn burning Tales of the Dark Side as the new normal. One after the other from here on in. Once one yarn is debunked or fizzles out or do ‘t get legs, the guy in the on deck circle is ready and eager to step up. Next. Next. Next.
Noticed they tried the Russian Delusion again. First Susan Rice, but it did not get the desired results. So they send Kamala Harris out to try it again. The Dems think that dog will still hunt.
What can you say. If at first you don’t succeed, try another messenger.

Trumps hates Gold Star moms, especially those Moms married to Huma’s grandpa’s best business partner’s son, the lawyer who specialized in getting Muslims visas who have difficulty obtaining one. Wonder why the Gold Star Dad scandal ain’t being recycled.
The press went into organisms over Kamala’s footwear, praising her choice of sneakers. Wonder why they haven’t recycled the Melania footwear on her way to the Hurricane destruction bombshell? Now that was a true full blown TDS exploding head story. Another barn burner of a Tale from the Dark Side. Scandalous, I tell ya, scandalous and horrific. Not.

TODAY IN FAKE NEWS
“Have you heard? Bob Woodward—pause for reverential ooohs and aaahs here—has a new book out, with the claim that Trump lied about COVID-19 when it first erupted way back in early February. “Trump admits he lied about COVID-19 threat in new Woodward book,” says the Puffington Host headline.
But what did he actually say according to the story?
“You just breathe the air and that’s how it’s passed,” Trump said in a Feb. 7 call with Woodward. “And so that’s a very tricky one. That’s a very delicate one. It’s also more deadly than even your strenuous flu. This is deadly stuff,” he repeated.
“I wanted to always play it down,” Trump told Woodward on March 19, according to a copy of the book obtained by CNN. “I still like playing it down, because I don’t want to create a panic.”
Normally “avoiding a public panic” would be a reason for praise, but people afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome can’t help themselves.
Remember that this statement was made around the time that Trump halted flights from China, and Europe shortly thereafter. And what did the media and Democrats say? Xenophobia! Racism! Unnecessary! Keep in mind that as late as March 15 NYC’s Communist Mayor Bill de Blasio was still telling people to attend the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and San Francisco Democrats were telling people that it’s no problem to attend Chinese New Year. Ask yourself: if Trump had sounded a larger alarm than he did (with the CDC having blown the test regime), just imagine what Democrats and their media toadies would have said. They’d accuse Trump of whipping up panic for political reasons.”
https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2020/09/251149.php
Oh, I remember that like it was only months ago.
————————————-
Now, the question remains. How is Biden going to explain every policy he ever promoted that he is now p, out of the blue, opposed to? Glad no one took seriously Sleepy Joe’s idea to divide up Iraq into three separate nations. That would have made Iraq more stable, right? Anyway, the question remains is how is Biden going to explain away 40 years of his great ideas?
A: He won’t have to explain squat. Don’t ask, don’t tell. Oh, the unasked questions will remain unasked. He has enough trouble answering scripted questions with scripted answers on the teleprompter as it is. Now we need the Biden Translator Machine to translate Slur nto English.
I reckon with Joe under wraps we won’t see a ten mile line of cars waiting for him to make a brief appearance at a hanger like we saw recently like people did to see Trump, if only a glimpse. Whenever they do cart the old hair sniffer out, folks for some unknown reason think of Weekend at Bernie’s.

The President is going for his Eisenhower moment,
"Even for a president who has never hesitated to contradict himself for political advantage, it was a remarkable shift. His questioning the patriotism and judgment of America’s military leaders, even accusing them of pursuing global conflicts to profit the military-industrial complex, marked an election-year shift in which he has turned against two of the remaining institutions he spent most of his first term embracing as pillars of his “America First” policy.
It was Trump, from the earliest days of his transition, who talked reverentially about his “great generals,” telling two interviewers that he surrounded himself with them because they conveyed the sense of toughness he wanted to mark America’s global role.
Nearly four years later, all of these generals have been banished from his inner circle."

D 936am - Under Obama most of the flag staff who did not agree with their CIC were not only banished from whatever military 'inner circle' there was, but were induced to retire. The remaining flags were mostly characterized by their leftwing leanings and willing to go along. We have to remember that new flag nominations and acceptances are determined by the existing flags, so there is some ideological inertia in their ranks over the years.
Did everyone see the video on Tucker of a 4-star assuring viewers that the generals do not gratuitously send troops to wars, but only if THEY DETERMINE that it is in the interest of national security. If that attitude is shared, it is a pretty chilling revelation of the general staff's mindset. It is NOT the military's job to determine the interests of national security, but that of our elected civilians. The military's job is to carry out the directions of our elected executive and representatives, not to second guess them and then obey as they will.

Eye opening, yet not surprising coming from the liberal elite bastards. Screw due process, it is subjectivity that matters more on campus.
‘Universities Circumvent New Title IX Regulations’
“And how are schools such as UIUC going to decide which policy to adjudicate various behaviors under, since the broader category of campus sexual misconduct will always encompass Title IX sexual misconduct? No potential source of confusion there, right?
Take the new policy of Arizona State University. Like Illinois, ASU establishes two separate procedures for adjudicating sexual-misconduct tracks, one with robust protections and one without. Why not use both? says the university.
ASU’s policy defines Title IX sexual harassment in accordance with the regulations, but maintains other policies defining “sexual harassment” more expansively. And ASU makes clear that “if the facts or occurrences forming the basis of a formal complaint of Title IX sexual harassment would also constitute a violation of other university policies,” respondents may be subject to a second process that could “proceed concurrently.”
In one proceeding, students will receive all the due-process protections required by the regulations, including the right to access evidence, the right to a hearing, the right to cross-examination, and the right to be presumed innocent. In the parallel proceeding, however, students will not. They cannot even challenge the findings of an investigator until everything has already been decided and sanctions already doled out.”..
“The Department of Education carefully created a system that offers procedural protections commensurate with the seriousness of sexual misconduct accusations. Unfortunately, universities’ commitment to procedural unfairness never was about government policy with regard to Title IX, a common excuse during the years when Title IX guidance itself undercut due process. The inescapable conclusion is that this is about the university’s perceived need to redefine sexual agency, sexual mores, and consent, which will apply only on campus and nowhere else in American life. To do so, they are claiming ever more power over the minutiae of students’ private lives.”

THE LATEST ANTI-TRUMP “TEMPEST” DEBUNKED
“The Justice Department has intervened in a lawsuit brought against President Trump by E. Jean Carroll. She’s the journalist who claims that Trump raped her 25 years ago.
Carroll’s suit isn’t about the alleged rape. It’s a defamation suit based on Trump’s denial of her allegation.
To those unschooled in the law, it probably seems odd that the DOJ would substitute itself for Trump as the defendant in a suit about statements Trump made. The Washington Post wants to capitalize on that sentiment. Its lead editorial today claims that the DOJ is “sink[ing] to a new low” by acting as Trump’s “personal law firm.” E.J. Dionne chimes in, calling the DOJ “Trump’s corrupt law firm.” (Both headlines from paper edition)”

Insight: “The whole drift of our law is toward the absolute prohibition of all ideas that diverge in the slightest form from the accepted platitudes, and behind that drift of law there is a far more potent force of growing custom, and under that custom there is a natural philosophy which erects conformity into the noblest of virtues and the free functioning of personality into a capital crime against society.” —H. ‘Mitch McConnell: Dem leaders don't want 'any bipartisan relief whatsoever' before election’
“If Democrats didn't get their diversity studies for the cannabis industry, stimulus checks for illegal immigrants, and tax cuts for blue-state millionaires, they'd make sure millions of Americans would lose their unemployment benefits and the PPP would close. That's what they threatened, and that's what they did."
McConnell said Senate Republicans are ready to provide additional stimulus during the pandemic.
"Schools and colleges have gone without the $105 billion that Republicans wanted to give them in July. That's more money than Speaker Pelosi put in her bill. American workers have gone without the second round of the PPP that Republicans proposed weeks and weeks ago. Speaker Pelosi had no money for the PPP in her bill," he said.
"The race for treatments and vaccines has gone without the additional funding that Republicans wanted to deliver. Families have gone without the economic relief that Republicans wanted to put in their pockets," he added.
McConnell said the Senate GOP's new "targeted" $500 billion stimulus bill includes “the most urgent and most popular” policies to help Americans right now.
"It's a vote for senators to say whether they want to move forward toward huge amounts of relief for kids, jobs, and healthcare, or whether they are happier doing nothing," he said. "That is what every single Senator will decide tomorrow. Do you want to do something, or do you want to do nothing?"

So Don you approve of the killing and dismemberment of the Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashogi, a resident of our country by the upper levels of the Saudi royalty headed by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud? He is a close associate of Trump who claims on tape to have "saved his ass".

Gregory
Direct quote by Trump on tape. You are such a Trump loyalist Gregory. Quite unbecoming for a so called Libertarian.

Looks like creepy grampa joe is trying to out do al 'i inveted the internet' gore -
A new report detailed Joe Biden’s latest falsehoods, which are focused on his debunked claims of “predicting” the 9/11 attacks. According to reports, Biden has falsely claimed he was warning of potential terror attacks on U.S. soil prior to 9/11.
In his foreign policy speech on September 10th, 2001, Biden discussed the risk of anthrax or biological attack on the U.S. He also complained about a lack of U.S. missile defense systems.
However, hours after the World Trade Center attack, Biden claimed he warned about it his speech, which he did not.
“The prospect of a chemical, biological pathogen is real. As recently as yesterday, I spoke to the National Press Club and talked about the fact that it’s just as easy to fly from a national airport to the White House as it is to do the same thing in New York. We know all of these possibilities exist.” — Joe Biden, Democrat presidential nominee
According to reports, Biden repeated this false claim in 2006 and 2012, changing his story each time
