‘If you come, you can stay.’ is the message President Biden blurted before his administration had made any preparations for the hundreds of thousands that took the invitation literally to surge across our southern border, totally abrogating the existing border security policy and overwhelming the apparatus that had reduced illegal entrants to a trickle under the Trump administration. Today the Biden Bunch is at wits end (for them a very short trek) to try and deal with the human crisis they have launched out of total ignorance and incompetence – they didn’t have a clue what any room temp IQ could have predicted about what’s happening now, and what is on its way north.
In bygone days farmers with movable outhouses had a working homily for dealing with such situations – ‘don’t shit in the old well until the new one’s dug.’ That piece of obvious advice went by the board with the current crop of double dummies in the White House who have opened the spigot for an uncountable number of illegal entrants. We have now retied the hands of our border security people. They can no longer return those they capture, but must find them humane and comfortable lodgings, or simply turn them loose into our nation’s interior.
Meanwhile, as they play word games with ‘challenge’ and ‘crisis’, Biden’s handlers have dispatched a WH team to the border area to find out what’s really going on. During this delay, press prevaricator Jen Psaki tells us that the border crisis was “inherited” and is being kept from the president who will be duly briefed on it when the look-see contingent returns. In the interval, she assures the assembled reporters, that there is no use of anyone asking him about the tsunami of illegal aliens since he really hasn’t been told yet. That is another reason they are keeping Bumblebrain away from the mics and cameras while setting a record for the delay until the president’s first press conference. It will be pure entertainment for all to see how they finally decide to pull that one off.

There is no crisis at the border, well on the other hand we need volunteers to deal with it. HUH The creepy grampa joe team is an ideocracy!
The Trump administration put in place a number of protections to deal with the 2019 crisis and end pull factors bringing migrants north. While critics called many of the policies cruel, numbers declined dramatically, and the practice of "catch-and-release," by which migrants were released into the interior, was largely ended.
However, the Biden administration has unraveled many of the Trump-era policies -- including the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP) which keep migrants in Mexico for their hearings, and agreements with Northern Triangle countries -- and has been struggling with a dramatic surge in migration in recent weeks, particularly in unaccompanied children (UACs) and families.
As the administration has started releasing families into the interior, it is opening migrant centers both for families and UACs and is considering using a military base in Virginia to house child migrants. Additionally, the Centers for Disease Control has told facilities they can open to 100 percent capacity.
NUMBER OF COVID-POSITIVE MIGRANTS RELEASED IN TEXAS SURGES, OFFICIALS SAY
Meanwhile, senior administration officials traveled to the border on Saturday and will brief President Biden this week.
Mayorkas’ description of the surge at the border as "overwhelming" comes a week after he was asked if there was a crisis at the border -- and said that he didn’t believe there was.

Really, it is like reading Pravda or Das Reich...disgusting. These people must have gotten their journalism degrees and ethics out of a CrackerJack Box. "The survey also asked respondents to rate their confidence in Biden’s physical and mental ability to carry out the job of being President of the United States. Half said they were either “not very” confident or “not at all” confident, although that opinion is sharply divided on party lines.
Democrats remain overwhelmingly confident in Biden’s ability, 82 percent, compared to the Republicans’ 18 percent. Independents also seem hesitant, with 42 percent expressing confidence compared to 55 percent who indicated otherwise."

McCarthy highlighted payments to government employees who were never laid off during the pandemic shutdown and claimed it rewarded mismanagement.
“It is what Margaret Thatcher said: You will eventually run out of everybody else’s money,” he said. “And that’s what’s happening with this $1.9 trillion. This money does nothing to put people back to work, back to school or back to health. It used it to reward those that they care most about, the mismanagement of states across this nation, to reward federal employees who have not been laid off, give them $21,000 or state employees a $25,000 bonus. That is hard-working taxpayers’ money. It is costing every family more than $5,000. And a few people will get a $1,400 check. It’s one of those emails you get from another nation.”"

Another homemaker crisis that predates Trump: the stupid, lazy, and obesity crisis
‘COVID-19 Proves The Danger Of The ‘Body Positive’ Celebration Of Obesity’
“According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than 73% of the half a million Americans who have died from COVID-19 since the pandemic began were obese or overweight”
“In addition, the CDC found that nearly eight in 10 people hospitalized for the virus were either obese or overweight,” the report added.
According to the World Obesity Federation, “only old age rates as a higher risk factor” for COVID-19 death, and that “Increased body weight is the second greatest predictor of hospitalization and a high risk of death” for those who catch the virus.
This raises the obvious point that being overweight — and especially being obese — is objectively bad for your health.“

‘Demos Arrange DC Military Service Ribbons’
The politicization of military service ribbons devalues all ribbons and medals.
“The political theater reconfirms the Demos’ penchant for double standards, in this case regarding the condemnation of riots and the prosecution of rioters. As historian Victor Davis Hanson confirmed, the nation endured “100 days of torching federal court houses and police precincts, 700 policeman injured, 40 people dead, $4-$5 billion in damages…” That notwithstanding, not only was there not universal condemnation from Demos, but in many cases there was actually support for the violence — including from our current vice president, who this past summer said, “They’re not gonna let up, and they should not.”
However, on January 6th, the Demos finally found a riot they could condemn.“

Forget for a moment th÷ '18 Flu. What came of SARS-CoV(-1)?
The common denominator for all pandemics, black plagues, black deaths throughout human history is they all came and after a year or two, simply went away. All, like SARS-CoV(-l) just mutated in milder forms and became harmless. That epidemic that Obama-Biden fought had infected 68 million Americans before they (Biden’s Team) threw up their hands and stopped contact tracing. Obama made Biden his point man. It’s still around, but few even get sick from it anymore. Some say the 1918 Spanish Flu is still around, but no worries in the least in its mutated form. The same for the one 2003....which 6 years later a vaccine was made available. I guess you need a shot for that one....now! Lol.

Posted by: Walt | 11 March 2021 at 03:06 PM
Some history for Emery. We have seen this crappy movie before.
When Democrats passed their $1.9 trillion “COVID relief” bill this week, they did far more than provide money for vaccines, or for Americans struggling to find work.
They used much of the spending to bail out Democrat-run cities whose long-term budget problems predated the pandemic.
They used billions to bail out the ailing pension systems of their union allies — with no reforms demanded in return.
And they funneled billions to interest groups that elected them, like public school employees.
We have seen this pattern before.
Democrats used the 2008 financial crisis to win the presidency, even though they helped to create the crisis by refusing to regulate quasi-government housing lenders Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Rahm Emanuel, the chief of staff of the incoming Barack Obama White House, declared: “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.”
And so they used much of the $862 billion “stimulus” in 2009 to reward their allies rather than to generate job-creating growth.

Ummm. Of course not. Nobody would have been in Washington. So just because Trump has a speech and tells people to March to the Capitol and peacefully protest, it is his fault that 300 morons storm the Capitol. That’s just silly.
Posted by: Barry Pruett | 11 March 2021 at 03:59 PM
this Chris Miller, Punch?
"During the 2021 storming of the United States Capitol, Miller was criticized for several reasons. He hesitated to approve assistance of National Guard troops from neighboring states to reinforce the D.C. National Guard until 4:41 PM, three hours after Capitol Police signaled that they were being overrun and two hours after city officials from the District had asked for such assistance. Two days prior, he banned the DC National Guard from touching, arresting, or searching rioters, and bringing weapons, helmets and body armor to work on January 6. Miller was succeeded by then-Deputy Secretary of Defense David Norquist on January 20, 2021."

My roommate from Russia who lives in dc was in dc (not in the Capitol) on january 6. He was alarmed at the time why there were so little Capitol police. Why didn’t pelosi have more police. Isn’t that her responsibility?

Right on "Q".. Emery runs, and changes the subject.
If you paid a lick of attention, you would know the COVID bill was anything BUT about COVID. So full of pork, Jimmy Dean is crying with envy.
Emery's elder gray matter won't let him remember the riot started while Trump was still talking.
Where were those "marching orders" to storm the capital Emery?
Where is the emails from Trump to bring ropes and climbing gear?
Posted by: Walt | 11 March 2021 at 04:30 PM
Well you at least got it up to 300 Barry. Pelosi police? What are you talking about? Are you saying it was her job to protect the Capital?
Posted by: paul emery | 11 March 2021 at 04:37 PM
Here you go, Punch:
"The United States Capitol Police (USCP) is a federal law enforcement agency in the United States charged with protecting the United States Congress within the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its territories. It answers to the Capitol Police Board and is the only full-service federal law enforcement agency appointed by the legislative branch of the federal government of the United States."

Yes. Paul. That is her responsibility. If you don’t know that then I don’t know what to tell you.

Everything is true what you write about Miller and he was Trumps guy slowing down the response. He's starting to feel the heat and he's starting to come clean about Trump.
By the way your post was a direct cut and past from Wikipedia. Not much research went into your post Gregory Here's the link you didn't include:

It was more research than you put in, Punch. Easy to do, especially if you know the answer first.
The heat Miller is feeling is the heat resulting from his dragging his heels on and about Jan 6.

You are saying it was pelosi's responsibility to provide security for the capital even though Trump was President at the time. is that true?
if so can you direct me to some documentation on that?

"Pelosi’s office had previously impressed upon Irving that the National Guard was to remain off Capitol Grounds, Irving allegedly told House Admin. The discussions, which centered around “optics,” allegedly occurred in the months prior to the Jan. 6 riot, during a time when deployment of federal resources for civil unrest was unpopular with Democrats and many members of Congress."

Why bother with notifying ICE. They have been ordered to stay at their desks and no going after illegals with guns. Or illegal rapists or child molestors or criminals with warrents. Deeply saddened for our poor communities, the very ones most likely to be preyed upon.

Biden border boomerang: Thousands of illegal immigrant children penned in 'facilities akin to jails'
Administration has had to reopen some facilities to handle massive surge.
“The detention crisis comes as border patrol agents have been contending with a major surge of illegal immigration activity along the southern border. According to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol's most recent
statistics, the U.S. Border Patrol logged 285,217 "encounters" at U.S. borders through January of fiscal year 2021. That's roughly 70% of the total for all of fiscal year 2020 in just three months.”
“The Border Patrol claimed last week that the agency is on track to arrest a "record number" of immigrant sex offenders this year. Agents in Laredo, Texas, meanwhile, have multiple times this month apprehended over one hundred illegal immigrants over short periods of time.”.....
“it Ocasio-Cortez, however, does not appear to have commented on the Biden detention crisis since Feb. 23, suggesting the progressive icon may be less outspoken in opposition to mass detention of child immigrants under Biden than she was under Trump. The self-described democratic socialist famously claimed that Trump's child detention facilities were literal "concentration camps." At one point during her first campaign for the House of Representatives, she visited a migrant detention center and was depicted sobbing next to a road outside of the facility.
The crisis at the border has been so acute in recent weeks that the Biden administration was forced to reopen a much-criticized facility in Homestead, Fla., one capable of accepting over 3,000 children.
(ROFLMAO)
As a presidential candidate in 2019, now-Vice President Kamala Harris vowed to shut down the Homestead
facility, among others, claiming the facilities employed "people who are profiting off the incarceration of children."

Biden officials don’t want to call it a crisis, but the challenge, matter of concern, situation, or whatever euphemistic term they are applying to the border today is running out of control.
DHS has warned of potentially the biggest wave of migrants in two decades, and the number crossing the border has doubled since January.
The surge is especially pronounced among minors. The number of minors crossing every day has tripled since the end of last year and is on a pace to set a record this month. More than 8,500 minors are currently in HHS shelters, with 3,500 waiting in Border Patrol facilities designed for adults where they are only supposed to spend 72 hours but are staying longer.
The Biden administration has opened up one tent city and is planning more. And it has eliminated the social-distancing guidelines that had limited how many migrants could be kept in shelters.
Indications are that parents are sending the minors — and sometimes traveling with them up to the border and then splitting up — in the belief that they will gain entry into the United States and never leave.
This is a well-founded belief. Only about 4 percent of minors who have come to the United States in recent years have been returned home. They are released to relatives in the U.S., who are also likely to be illegal immigrants, and even if they are eventually ordered removed, we don’t have the resources or the will to see that it happens.
The latest border surge is entirely Biden’s doing. That his rhetoric and policies would create a new crisis was predictable, and indeed, it was predicted.

Increasingly, Facts Are Considered Racist
“Why do racial preferences in admission matter to the case of Professor Sellers? Because, quite simply, if a student is admitted with lower academic qualifications than his classmates, he’s likely to continue to perform at a lower level than his classmates in law school. Students rarely “catch up” to their better-prepared classmates. Rather, as Rick Sander and Stuart Taylor detail in their book, Mismatch, these students are likely to fall further behind. When members of one racial group are mostly admitted with a racial preference, they start out in the lower part of the class, and they’re likely to stay there. That circumstance then is used as evidence of “systemic racism,” justifying even more preferences. And the cycle repeats.
Increasingly, the expression of facts — not just opinions — that offend elite sensibilities are being weaponized against us. Truth is no longer a defense.
