I have to get a few things down for the record.  There is so much absolute crap coming out of the Biden administration that it’s really impossible to log all of it.

The filibuster is not long for this world if Bumblebrain keeps forgetting his 2005 eloquent defense of the Senate rule that prevents a single party runaway.  His excuse for pulling the trigger is if Republicans oppose any of the massive phalanx of socialist legislation the Dems are trundling down the pike.  To prevent “legislative lockup” our president has offered an olive branch across the aisle – ‘It’s going to be my way, or my way.’

National debt will be double our GDP in the next decade with all the spending and government growth programs the radical Left has in store.  Another $25T of debt will be added during this period.  It is doubtful that many outside the US will be buying the Treasuries that launch this debt.  The only alternative is the Fed that will be adding these bonds to its already huge asset pile with trillions of new cash hitting the Treasury’s general fund, and then directly into our economy.  Thereby Bumblebrain’s handlers are engineering the perfect double whammy on the economy – create unheard of demand with the new dollars hitting the streets, and stifle supply by raising corporate taxes and new regulations that will drive companies overseas again, reduce capital investment, jobs, and domestic output.  So what do you think will happened to the prices of what will remain on our markets?  It’s hard to believe that they’ve silenced Fed Chair Yellen who has yet to make a peep about this monetary trainwreck.

Did you hear that Kamala told Bumblebrain to shove it sideways on his attempt to appoint her to take charge of border chaos growing by the day?  That woman is too smart to even go anywhere near the border; nobody in the WH wants to be photographed in or at the squalid quarters in which thousands of illegal aliens (the ones they didn’t release) are incarcerated.  If Kamala accepts the job, she will be immediately splattered by everything hitting the fan down there – she will be made to own that mess by ol’ Bumblebrain himself who has been keeping a sharp eye on the development of the Harris presidency.

According to our adversaries and everyone else with 3-digit IQs on this side of the big ponds, the Biden administration has already made a mess of our foreign policy.  Putin and Xi are laughing their butts off at Bumblebrain declaring that “America is back”.  And back again it is indeed, back to the joke of the Obama years, of apology tours and red lines ignored by all.  Upcoming are some serious tests that both the Russians and Chinese will conduct to confirm their measure of the old man in the White House.  This is really scary stuff since the Pentagon has already been stripped of its capable flag command staff and is now led by political commissars whose main job is to hunt down white supremacists, racists, and domestic terrorists in their own ranks while configuring our combat systems to fight climate change.

[30mar21 update]  Racism is now moral.  That is the strong message from America’s Left broadcast daily by the lamestream, and communicated in no uncertain terms from ALL levels of the Democratic Party.  The practices of this destructive and anti-American cultural meme is effectively explained by Victor Davis Hanson in his ‘Is Racism Moral Now?’.  In there he highlights the major highways and little known byways of this new morality in our land.  The Democratic Party was the nation’s original promoter of racism, arguing the morality of suppressing dark-skinned people on the basis of genetics and eugenics.  When that no longer worked in the early 1960s, they shifted their means of suppression into a more insidious approach with their cynical support of the civil and voting rights legislation of 1964-65 that launched the Great Society. 

Under its perfidious programs the black family structure was effectively destroyed (70% of black births are to single mothers), and ‘the plantation’ of dependent victimhood firmly established and expanded in the country’s large urban centers.  These GS wealth transfer programs were initially sold under the aegis of eliminating segregation.  But when nationwide integration encouraged more and more minorities to escape the plantation and attain cultural, political, and economic peerage with the majority whites, the Democrats needed a new meme to effectively continue their racist control of the minority vote.  Waiting in its socialist wing was identity politics and class warfare.  These new memes were rolled out under the clarion call to eliminate systemic racism and white supremacy, which the Left is now implementing with the reinstitution of segregation and the outrageous claim that racism in America is more prevalent now than ever, and therefore must be fought with ever more racist public policies which blatantly identify the country’s whites as the perennial source of all that is wrong in this evil America that must be fundamentally transformed.

[31mar21 update]  Canadians are coming to the US in droves for their Covid shots because their nationalized healthcare is system has its undies in a bundle trying to figure out how to get the vaccine to their vast population of 38 million.  These goings on are, of course, hush-hush on our lamestream.

The Democratic Party claims to be the ‘party of science’, and that may well be.  But over the last year they have made clear that the politically directed science they follow is of the kind that sent many Renaissance scientists to the stake, gallows, prison, and even house arrest where Galileo spent the latter part of his life.

The unabashedly leftwing lamestream media was again outed for the kind of offal its spews for news.  Nielsen reports that FN’s viewership has dropped 32% since its election highs.  Commensurately, CNN dropped 16% and MSNBC 7.8%.  This is another piece of evidence that FN is a much more reliable news source, having garnered and now returned the largest marginal increase in viewership during the news-intensive election when people of all political stripes sought out their most trustworthy outlets.  FN has again been the top cable news channel in March, beating out rivals CNN and MSNBC.

[1apr21 update]  The scumbags of the lamestream media were brightly illuminated in an important piece by Federalist senior editor Mollie Hemingway, who convincingly demonstrates that their so-called journalists and reporters really “are Democrat propagandists and should be treated as such.”  A commenter below correctly calls it with “Molly H knocks one outta da park.”  Her ‘It’s Important To Be Honest About What Today’s Media Actually Are’ is a must read.  (This reinforces RR's position about the lamestream that I have conveyed during the life of this blog.)

The compliant liberal and toady administrators at our Nevada Union High School have cancelled this Friday’s football games.  Why?  Because ONE player on the JV team tested positive for Covid.  Never mind that these young people seldom, if ever, show symptoms or suffer from the virus.  The cringingly compliant lockdown policies continue to be enforced by local public officials who don’t understand that none of Sacramento’s politically motivated policies have the support of anything that can remotely be called science.  What is missing in our community is some clear thinking and appropriately reinforced vertebrae.  Are we still a self-determined free people?

Hah!  By hook and by crook, UCLA has made it into the Final Four and plays number one seeded Gonzaga this Saturday evening.  The gods have already smiled on the Bruins, and may they retain that munificent mien.

Meanwhile, on Bob Crabb’s blog (here) I posted an encouraging comment to Bob’s lament on the relevancy of us bloggers who in our own way attempt to expose and invite productive participation on the polarization driving us toward a Great Divide.  Into that thread leaps our local arch-progressive Chris Peterson, who is longtime nemesis of RR and now, thankfully, dispenses his wisdom on liberal blogs.  Chris invariably misunderstands EVERYTHING that I write, and again confirms this deficit in his 252pm comment.  I replied with the following that mysteriously did not post, but was relegated to “await moderation”; so I share it here.

What you again miss are the feelings of inadequacy that I and mine continue to experience during our futile search through today’s political morass for any kind of traction that may start a conversation toward a peaceful resolution. There is nothing ‘superior’ about the ability to correctly apprehend that no common ground has been found or even considered feasible by all the king’s horses and all the king’s men.

And where in hell did Peterson get that I “feel akin to Hernan Cortez”??  The catastrophic careenings of a liberal’s thought process are definitely something not decipherable.  And people still wonder why it’s hard for the two sides to communicate?

In his letter, sent to Evelyn Remaley of the NTIA, Congressman Gosar said the administration’s failure to make the report public was inexplicable.

“Inexplicably, while NTIA has placed the 1993 Report on its website, where it may still be found, NTIA has failed to make the updated 2021 Report similarly available,” wrote Rep. Gosar.

“While the 2021 Report’s findings may undermine common narratives touting a relation between internet free speech and hate crimes, nothing is more valuable than the truth as demonstrated by evidence.”

I just read the article in the Nation about the Derek Chauvin trial written by Elie. In fact I read quite a few articles on the web site. I remember the old print editions from the late 60's.
Looks like now it's become an off-the-rails lefty holding tank for wacka-doodle loud mouths.
The Nations various authors' attachments to reality seem to be confined to their need for oxygen and possibly nutrients. Beyond that, I'm not sure they would be aware of our sun going super-nova.

I was hoping this was an April Fools joke, but sadly it is not. After putting teachers ahead of the line to get the vaccination and such as high proirity, schools ate still not open for in school learning.

However, illegal alien children with a group Covid-19 positive rate of well over 10% are now receiving in classroom instruction. Add to the mix the teachers unions have told our teachets to avoid telling schools they have received the vax if it means going back to the classrooms.
