OK Lefties,, just who are the Nazis now? Book banning? Dr. Seuss is now "banned?
Just like the German Student Union burning books in 1933.
The Movie Fahrenheit 451, has become reality.
Huckleberry Finn is gone too.

And you have the gaul to call us Fascists?

The reason Dr. Seuss is now problematic is crystal clear. One book in particular portrays The Grinch...of the Grinch Who Stole Christmas fame, in an unflattering light. Off with The Cat’s head along with all the little happy people. No dissing the Scared Grinch Cow.

Yesterday I had a moral dilemma. Starting at the shelf and needing a new coffee maker, I noticed Mr. Coffee was the same price as a Black & Decker brewer. I started to reach for Mr. Coffee, but had this unpleasant feeling (nagging) in the back of my head. What gender is Mr. Coffee? Why isn’t there a Mrs. Coffee? Even Pac-Man had a Ms. Pack-Man. I paused, figured that Black & Deckers last ok for the price, and grabbed me a B&D brand new coffee maker. Just to cover the all the bases, I grabbed a pack of Mr. Coffee filters. Once home, the filters were too small, but doable and kinda cute. The weaken sex stuff I reckon.

It’s getting hard for this imperfect fallible humanoid to get through a day without sinning against The Woke.

The " adult-level news cycle" is now being dominated by MSNBC. Fox and so called Conservative cable is fading badly. Here's details:

"MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show will finish February as the top-rated show in all of cable television, with an average total audience of 3.6 million viewers—the second month in a row that Rachel Maddow has been the most-watched host in all of cable.

Maddow’s victory comes amid a record-setting month for MSNBC, which will finish February as the most-watched network not just in cable news, but in all of cable television—the first time any NBCU network has done so. "

MSNBC and CNN had a combined audience of 4.85 million viewers compared to FOX who had
2.8 million viewers.

Don Bessee

Oh right you get 2 shots and they still want to be total control freaks, screw that!

Don Bessee

Combining two networks to serve your false narratives is typical for a po' ol' former fakenewsman no wonder you got kicked to the curb. LOL -

Fox News Channel finished February as the most-watched network in all of cable during the key primetime hours of 8-11 p.m. as Americans continue to flock to "Tucker Carlson Tonight," "Hannity," and "The Ingraham Angle."

Fox News averaged 2.5 million primetime viewers, compared to 2.2 million for MSNBC and only 1.7 million for CNN. HGTV and the Hallmark Channel joined the trio of cable news networks among the top five.

Fox News is also the top-rated network in all of cable among primetime total viewers post-Inauguration to date and has been the No. 1 network among weekday primetime viewers since Memorial Day 2020.

FNC was the second-most watched network among total day viewers, averaging 1.3 million compared to CNN’s 1.2 million. "America’s Newsroom with Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino" and "The Faulkner Focus," two programs that launched with the network’s revamped daytime lineup in January finished atop their respective timeslots. "The Five" averaged a whopping 2.8 million viewers to finish as the fourth most-watched program in cable news despite airing at 5 p.m. ET.

Fox News had a successful month on weekends, too. The network finished as the No. 1 network on Saturday and Sundays among total day and primetime viewership. "Watters’ World" averaged 2.1 million viewers to finish as Saturday’s most-watched show, while "Life, Liberty and Levin" was the highest-rated program on Sundays with 1.9 million total viewers.

The root of these mandate issues is very simple and requires an answer to a very fundamental question. Do you trust government to tyrannically control us, or do you trust freedom and have faith in your fellowman? California has answered affirmatively the former while Texas has chosen the latter. As a free society, we must have trust and faith in our fellowman in order for us to remain a free people. I, for one, trust my fellowman and myself in regards to COVID to remain safe and act responsibly for the sake of me and my fellow citizens. That is the answer, because we must adhere to the virtue that with freedom comes responsibility. My American brothers and sisters can responsibly handle this pandemic without giving up our freedom. Faith in your fellowman.

So here we are with the same gang a alarmists who projected the population bomb who also started the pollution death of us all who now have embraced global warming and were forced to change names because of their miserable track record. So the socialist dems are set to destroy the economy based on the same old bullshit from the same old bullshitters who channel chicken little -

The drop could present an entirely different risk to society than one that was first warned about decades ago — when an apocalyptic fear gripped America in the 1960s and 1970s.

"The stakes in this battle are far greater than any other we have ever fought," Walter Cronkite said in a 1970 CBS News broadcast. "The experts we interviewed told us population was the fundamental crisis."

As the world stampeded toward 10 billion people, many researchers back then predicted that overpopulation would ruin humanity.

Biologist Paul Ehrlich once explained the threat as "The Population Bomb," the title of a book he authored in 1968.

"Sometime in the next 15 years, the end will come — and by the end, I mean an utter breakdown of the capacity of the planet to support humanity," he said in a 1970 broadcast.

Today, however, a very different note is struck by researchers like University of Southern California Professor Dowell Myers, who studies demographic trends.

"The trouble is we overshot and we dropped it down too much now," Myers told "CBS This Morning" co-host Tony Dokoupil.

They did also manage to scare kids into not having babies -

Paul. Let me lay it out for you. Conservatives aren’t watching the news. The vast majority of the 75 million that voted for Trump have checked and already made up their minds what they are gonna do in 2022 and 2024 and that is vote for Making American Great policies. Any candidate who convinces voters that’s who they are and that’s what they support will get the Republican vote. And it will be large. They are motivated yet quiet. Period.

Days after Myntra announced its decision to tweak its logo, now e-commerce giant Amazon has sneakily rolled out a small change in its mobile app icon after users found an uncanny similarity between the app’s former logo and Adolf Hitler.

Early in January, Amazon had introduced the new icon to replace their age-old ‘shopping cart’ symbol with one featuring a brown box with a jagged piece of blue tape stripping down, right above the company’s iconic smile-shaped arrow. This could suggest a nod to Amazon’s packaging.

However, once the logo had gone viral on social media, netizens quickly pointed out how the jagged piece of blue tape reminded users of Nazi leader, Hitler’s toothbrush mustache. The comparison blew up social media until Amazon decided to come up with a new logo, without any official announcement as such.

One mustn’t take a month or two of polling snapshots. One needs to look at 9 month trends, month over month for a longer period of time to see change. A packet sent to the Times -- a copy of which was obtained by Fox News -- included a February letter sent from Antioch University's general counsel that confirmed Reade was enrolled from Fall 2000 through Spring 2001 and later worked for the university as a Prior Learning Evaluator from 2008-2010.

The packet also contained various emails and corroboration documenting Reade's tenure at the university and a 2005 "Certificate of Law Studies" from the Washington State Bar Association.

"Your publication was unprivileged, and it caused Tara’s life irreparable damage. Therefore, you are liable for defamation," Admon wrote. "However, you now have an opportunity to remedy some of the incredible harm you’ve done by publishing a correction or clarification to your defamatory articles, stating that Tara did not intentionally lie about her undergraduate credentials and fake her way into law school."

"Your tainted publications about Tara, skillfully crafted to smear her character ever so subtly, presenting an unbalanced take on her failings without once mentioning her successes, facilitated the wholesale destruction of her reputation and career. Following your lead, half the country has labeled her a 'liar,' 'crackpot,' and other vile denigrations. Because of your publication, she suffered the ignominy of being criminally investigated, evicted, sacked from employment, and other unbearable personal hardships that you will likely never comprehend. What’s worse, your craftily styled attack on Tara, including your false accusation that she is somehow a Russian operative, incited a nonstop, ongoing online harassment campaign against her, including multiple death threats and the stalking of her and her daughter."
"Your tainted publications about Tara ... facilitated the wholesale destruction of her reputation and career."

— Tara Reade's attorney, in letter to The New York Times
Tara Reade speaks out on Democratic conventionVideo
Admon then addressed the Times' mistake of accidentally publishing Reade's unredacted Social Security number (SSN) from a document that was left on its website for hours.

"On April 13, 2020, you published Tara’s complete Social Security Number ("SSN") on your website, where it remained nearly nine hours, visible to your seven million subscribers and many others. Your reckless endangerment of Tara’s privacy is extremely worrying and a clear violation of multiple laws in Washington and New York," Admon continued. "You have no defense for publishing Tara’s Social Security Number. Because of your actions, she has been the target of identity theft and has had very personal information exposed. You are liable for damages caused to Tara by your recklessness. Therefore, I request that your counsel contact me no later than 3/10/21 to discuss fair compensation."

It really is all about wealth/power transfers to the cities (punishing those pesky conservatives?) and total control, expect the national review author to be canceled in 5,4,3 .........

Electric vehicles are all the rage, in particular among public officials who do not have to face voters. Not so much among consumers, who know their individual needs and strive to make purchase decisions that satisfy them. These realities explain why the proponents of policies forcing ever more EVs upon the market prefer to implement such requirements in ways insulated from democratic accountability.

That is an accurate summary of the current political campaign in Minnesota to expand by regulatory fiat the market for EVs, by requiring that auto dealers in the state sell a certain number of them or face a penalty, moving the state toward California’s “zero emissions” automotive standard. The proposed mandate would engender massive dislocation and increased costs in the state’s transportation and agricultural sectors, adverse effects that would be borne by virtually every resident in the state. It would also create a series of large and adverse environmental impacts that the proponents of this change prefer not to discuss. Finally, it is easy to suspect that one key objective behind the mandate is to force a shift of population and economic activity away from rural, exurban, and suburban regions in the state toward urban areas, thus creating a massive transfer of wealth from residents, business owners, and workers in the former regions toward those in the latter.

Here is a fine crow pie for Emery.

Massive 78% Of Mail-In Ballots Proved Fraudulent, Judge Orders Election Do-Over.
A Mississippi judge ruled in favor of a new election following overwhelming evidence of mail-in ballot fraud.
“In the sixty-four-page order, Judge Jeff Weill not only calls for a new election but also finds evidence of fraud and criminal activity, in how absentee ballots were handled, how votes were counted, and the actions by some at the polling place,” local news reports.

The race in question – a Democratic primary – occurred in Ward 1 or Aberdeen, Mississippi for the position of alderman between candidates Robert Devaull and Nicholas Holliday.
The judge’s ruling revealed that sixty-six of eighty-four absentee ballots – nearly 79 percent – cast in the June runoff were fraudulent.

Notary Dallas Jones, responsible for authorizing the fraudulent ballots, testified that she notarized “about 30 something ballots” at one house alone.

The investigation also found that 83 regular ballots were counted without being initialed by election workers.

Here LIBS,(who are hiding under rocks)
"Karl Marx’s Antisemitic Writing Is OK, But Not Dr. Seuss

Book-burning is back.

The left has begun to ban the classics, including Homer’s Odyssey, as well as great works of American literature, such as Nathanial Hawthorne’s The Scarlet Letter.

J.K. Rowling, of Harry Potter fame, is off limits for her alleged “transphobia,” and Dr. Seuss’s estate canceled six of his books for “hurtful and wrong” portrayals. (Perhaps Thing 1 and Thing 2 felt objectified.)

Somehow, the foundational works of radical Marxism never seem to be on the list of books to be canceled.

No reasonable person, and certainly no one claiming intellectual credentials, would argue that Karl Marx’s works should be banned. But some of them certainly satisfy the new criteria.

Marx’s essay “On the Jewish Question,” for example, is a staple of college courses on political philosophy, because it summarizes his view of the limits of political freedom, and is easier to digest than his mammoth Capital. Yet the essay is also crudely antisemitic,"

I have never lived through book burnings. Memory of news reels in Nazi Germany or some place pops into mind. I recall hearing about groups smashing Elvis Presley records because of the ‘vulgar’ way he moved his hips on TV and I recall after one of the Beatles said something along lines that the group was more famous than God, there were Beatles’ album smashing and burning fires in a few locales. Not in my neighborhood, although my mother though that Elvis’s hip moves were not for children to see. (That’s why I always like the scene in Forest Grump when Sally Fields grabs young Forest’s hand and pulls him away from the TV set in the store window displaying Elvis’s moves.)

All of the above is a long intro to say that while I may never witness book burning events in street bonfires like in days or yore, I am witnessing it now. The internet has changed the way we burn books. Cancel, block, ban, erase is a lot more Eco-friendly than having smoke from books pollute our air. :)

The left’s totalitarianism tendencies always starts off being disguised in some positive thing...to help people. Who could be against PC....if one thought PC was an encouragement for a more civil dialogue with others. Sounds good, especially after the Dems were blaming Gabbie Griffin’s shooting on angry mean-spirited rhetoric and crying out for a softer tone during all those years....blaming Rush while ripping him a new one, rhetorically of course. Yep, perhaps men should watch their language more, too much cursing going on out in public. Sounds good. Turn the page and it was a straight line to cancel culture, ‘high tech lynchings’, and book burnings.
This sounds good. Dropping fines at the public library for poor kids. Should not let a child of poor folks be excluded from checking out books just because his parents are poor or black. The devil is always in the details.

‘Toronto Public Library Eliminates Late Fees To Combat Racial Inequity’
Waiving late fines will cost the library $600,000.

“The push to remove library fees comes from the powerful American Library Association (ALA), the world’s largest library organization. During a 2019 midwinter meeting, the ALA adopted a resolution that recognized that monetary fines are a form of social inequity.

*In recent years, the ALA has moved radically to the political Left and has called for the destruction of neutrality in the library system.

In 2020, the ALA released material instructing employees to embrace “critical librarianship,” which asks libraries and librarians to analyze how they “consciously and unconsciously support systems of oppression.”

Bill Tozer

Using The Word ‘Womxn’ Is As Silly As It Is Illogical

“This argument rests on the fact that you cannot make a gendered term “gender neutral.” The word “woman” relates entirely to biological sex, with its sole use being to assign or describe sex and/or gender. The attempt to make such a word “gender neutral” is nothing other than an attempt to erase or dilute its core and only meaning. It would be like someone working to replace words for colors or numbers, instead using meaningless creations which serve no linguistic purpose except to erase the original word and its meaning. “The sky is bleep.” “Bloop plus bloop is bloop.”

Ultimately, the purpose of words like “womxn” is not to include men who think they’re women, but to exclude those who believe that sex exists by removing our vocabulary to argue otherwise.

It’s hard to commemorate the centuries of feminist progress on Women’s History Month as we watch men take even the word “woman” for themselves.“

Petard...meet hoist.....!

"A coalition of hundreds of top business groups slammed the pro-union Protecting the Right to Organize Act as House Democrats prepare to bring it to the floor.

The Coalition for a Democratic Workplace (CDW), which represents hundreds of thousands of employers nationwide, denounced the legislation in a letter written to Congress Thursday. The CDW said the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act threatens both the economy and workers’ rights.

“In an attempt to increase labor membership at any cost, the bill would make radical changes to well-established law, diminish employees’ rights to privacy, and force businesses across nearly every industry to lay off employees or close their doors permanently,” CDW Chair Kristen Swearingen said in an emailed statement.

The PRO Act is a compilation of various policy changes that labor unions support, which would make it easier for unions to organize private-sector employees and minimize employees’ choice in unionization. (RELATED: Here Are The Pro-Union Labor Laws Joe Biden Has Promised To Pass As President)

The bill would remove workers’ ability to vote against unionization via secret ballot elections, threatens the ability for a workforce to kick a union out, redefines legal definition of independent contractors and forces non-union workers to pay union dues, according to the CDW."

First of all, Tiffany and her son are losers, liars, and not worth the tax money they consume. There is so much BS in her little narrative, I could make a good living selling it for fertilizer.

Arizona State Dean: Grading Writing Based On Quality Is ‘Racist,’ Promotes ‘White Language Supremacy’

A couple of quotes;
“The crux of the author’s argument is that grading calls for student uniformity and high-quality completed assignments, both of which are allegedly racist ideas.”

“The book also touches on the “white racial habitus” which are societal norms that the author considers implicit in white people. Speaking proper English is considered a “white racial habitus.” According to the book, all things that are derived from the “white racial habitus” are inherently “white supremacist.”

“All standards for good writing are deeply informed by a White racial habitus, which makes grading by such standards White supremacist,” Inoue writes.

The “white racial habitus” is also how teachers allegedly perpetuate “White language supremacy.” The author says that English is derived from white people, which means it’s inherently white and racist.”

Wel, well, well. The author got a B in high school English and straight A’s in his other classes. Proof of racism!!

According to his blog, Inoue identifies as a Japanese man because his father is of Japanese descent, though he was born in Hawaii. His mother is white with links to Eastern Europe. He received both his bachelor’s and his master’s degrees from Oregon State University and his Ph.D. from Washington State University.

In an anecdote, Inoue claims that he lived in an “explicitly racist world” because he got a B in an English class while getting A’s in other, more advanced, classes. He claims that his racial composition attributed to his average grade in a high school English class.

“I lived in an explicitly racist world. The racism was very present to me,” Inoue wrote. “During my Freshman year of high school, I got an A in honors French and every other class I took, yet received a B (not a B+) in English, not honors English, regular English. How was this possible? What was I doing wrong? Apparently, nothing. It was me, my habitus. I knew this but didn’t want to admit, admit that my language and body were being judged together.”

So, I neither speak nor write proper English well. Finally, proof that I am a victim of White Supremacy.....or maybe it is proof that I am not a White Devil (or Sun Devil) Supremist.....or maybe the author is chalk full of beans.

Tip of the cap to him.....he found his grift! He (much like der fuhrer of a certain local “business council”) learned that you can make a nearly effortless and very comfortable living spouting back progressive bilge about all the evils that YT hath wrought!

BT 8:35 - “During my Freshman year of high school, I got an A in honors French..."
'Cause the French aren't white, obviously.
This dude is stunningly stupid.
"What was I doing wrong? Apparently, nothing."
Of course not, it's the English.
Any Frenchman could have told you that.

‘Criticizing Public Figures, Including Influential Journalists, is Not Harassment or Abuse’
As social media empowers uncredentialed people to be heard, society's most powerful actors seek to cast themselves as victims and delegitimize all critiques.

“Precisely. “It’s not like it used to be.” The problem is that “this is not civilized discourse” to them because “it’s often coming from some of the least educated and most angry.” That’s why online censorship is needed. That’s why media figures need to unite to demonize and discredit their critics. It is because people like Taylor Lorenz — raised in Greenwich, Connecticut, educated in a Swiss boarding school, writing on the front page of The New York Times — now hears from “the least educated and most angry.” This is the societal crisis — one of caste — that they are determined to stop.

Taylor Lorenz and her media allies know that she is more privileged and influential than you are. That is precisely why they feel justified in creating paradigms that make it illegitimate to criticize her. They think only themselves and those like them deserve to participate in the public discourse. Since they cannot fully control the technology that allows everyone to be heard (they partially control it by pressuring tech monopolies to censor their adversaries), they need to create storylines and scripts designed to coerce their critics into silence.

Knowing that you will be vilified as some kind of brute abuser if you criticize a New York Times reporter is, for many people, too high of a price to pay for doing it. So people instead refrain, stay quiet, and that is the obvious objective of this lowly strategy.“
