Go Woke go broke and these guys deserve this level of spectacular failure for the damage they are doing -

In delayed fast national results just released by Nielsen, the 93rd Academy Awards were watched by a mere 9.85 million, with a dismal rating of 1.9 among the 18-49 demographic.

That is an all-time low for Hollywood’s biggest night — by a huge margin.

In fact, it is a drop of about 58% in terms of audience from what the previous low of the 2020 Oscars snared on February 9 last year. In terms of the key demo, the 2021 Oscars is down a crushing 64.2% in the earlier ratings from the 2020 Oscars.

Only the far left and the far left media just cannot wrap their heads around the idea that they are peddling what folks don’t want to buy. Grammy’s, Oscars, sports.....you name it. Everything the Left touches turned to crap. Stinky crap. Ugly crap.
From anti-vover ID and anti-voter integrity to the border crisis, to packing the Supreme Court, to releasing murders and rapists back on the street (revolving door) to making DC a state (the convention of the states can, not the House, Nancy, or Senate by themselves) to Marxism to just about everything they hold dear. It’s shocking, I tell ya, shocking that the American people are pushing back against their Exalted Lords and Overseers and do not recognize the genius of actors and those who write books on CRT and get paid handsomely for their most revered and sacred garbage looney ideas.

Joe Biden is going after “many.sectors, including the industrial sector.”

The industrial sector??? Well, say goodbye to the Industrial Revolution that brought more people worldwide out of poverty and made it so people like us could one day travel on a jet liner, something once only the rich could afford, exactly like the working poor could only dream of what the select few had....a refrigerator. The ice boxes have been replaced by the Cole Coolers, Heck, I bought myself a spanking new refrigerator a few years ago. First new one I ever bought, since folks sell good used ones on the cheap around here. Come and get it, we are remolding the kitchen and this three year old frig will have to go. :). Buying a refrigerator was like the rich buying a private jet before the industrial sector.

It’s all because of Marx. The government must own many sectors. Disguise it under going green.

WHY WIND AND SOLAR ENERGY ARE DOOMED TO FAILURE
Wind and solar energy are both essentially obsolete technologies. There is a reason why only the very rich or the very adventurous sail across oceans: the wind is unreliable, and at best produces relatively little energy. Nevertheless, liberals have concocted fantasies whereby all of our electricity, or perhaps our entire economy, will be powered by those fickle sources.

Barry 7:20 AM (no doubt after the 3rd cup of coffee hit home) " the unhinged propagandist arm of the new communist/democrat party."---LOL

In the category or "speaking of the unhinged propagandist arm of the Republican Party". The New York Post, known fo numerous failed fact checks when publishing articles, has failed yet another one.

The paper published an article that falsely claimed that copies of Vice President Kamala Harris' book were being included in "welcome kits" given to migrant children at a shelter in Long Beach. The reporter who wrote the article, Laura Italiano, claims she was ordered to write the story and has since resigned. The Post later corrected the story reporting that ONE COPY of Harris' book had been donated to a book drive held by the Long Beach Migrant Center Library and would not be handed out to migrant children in welcome kits.

The New York Post's claim that copies of the Harris book were being placed in shelter "welcome kits" was repeated or shared by multiple Republican elected officials, echoed by other right-wing news outlets, and used as the basis of a Fox News reporter's question at Monday's White House press briefing.

Barry, it would help if you even had a clue about what is really going on in the world with the right wing noise machine.

Of course the left has, and is, following one incorrect story after another but somehow they gots the TRUTH!
Maybe our lefty friends can clue us in about all the BS the brain-dead POTUS they voted for is spewing.
Maybe we conservatives are a little more concerned with the fed govt drifting into KGB territory.
Maybe if our lefty friends pulled their heads out of their asses they would realize the NAZIs they claim they fear are already deeply ensconced in our govt.

It's nothing new.
But now we know for a fact that people in the highest positions of trust have openly violated the law and no one is even trying to bring them to justice.
Now that we have started down that road, we join all the other 3rd world corrupt shit-holes into a descent that ends in anarchy and violence.

More good things happening under Biden. They're scooping out the scum:

"Federal authorities executed a search warrant at Rudy Giuliani's apartment and seized his electronic devices.

Three sources with knowledge of the matter told the New York Times that investigators in Manhattan searched the Upper West Side apartment Wednesday as part of a criminal investigation into Donald Trump's personal attorney's dealings in Ukraine, which resulted in the former president's first impeachment.

Investigators are primarily interested in whether the former New York City mayor illegally lobbied the Trump administration in 2019 on behalf of Ukrainian officials and oligarchs who were helping Giuliani dig up damaging information against the former president's political rivals, including now-President Joe Biden.

The U.S. Attorney's office in Manhattan and the FBI had long sought a search warrant for Giuliani's phones, but were blocked by senior political appointees in Trump's Justice Department."

Quotes

Insight: “If we don’t believe in freedom of expression for people we despise, we don’t believe in it at all.” —Virginia Woolf (1882-1941)

Perspective: “For a would-be FDR, Biden doesn’t seem to understand that a fundamental source of the New Dealer’s power was enormous congressional majorities. FDR came into office in 1932 with almost a 200-seat majority in the House, 313-117, after Republicans lost more than 100 seats. … In the Senate, FDR had 58 Democrats, as Republicans lost 12 seats in 1932 in one of the worst senatorial drubbings in history. … With his legislative margin of error so thin, it’s unlikely that Biden will get his way on much besides spending and taxes. Almost all of his sweeping proposals, from federalizing elections to making D.C. a state, will fall by the wayside. More to the point, it’s wrong for Biden to attempt force through such radical measures when his mandate for them exists only in his ridiculously inflated self-image.” —Rich Lowry

Food for thought: “Former Secretary of State John Kerry is under fire after a New York Times report suggesting that he leaked intelligence about Israel’s counterterrorism activities to Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif. … Kerry denied the allegations, labeling the New York Times report as ‘unequivocally false.’ But it wouldn’t be the first time that Kerry has had questionable communications with the Iranians. Here’s the bottom line: Someone is lying. If it’s Zarif, how can we trust anything he has to say in the nuclear negotiations?” —Gary Bauer

Observations: “In the end, evidence for systemic racism is utterly unnecessary. Systemic racism requires no evidence of intent, either individual or systemic. It requires only evidence of disparate outcome by race. … Systemic racism is a fundamentalist religious belief. It posits original sin; it posits saints and prophets; it posits its own malevolent god of the gaps. Most of all, it persecutes heretics in the name of a supposedly higher good. To be saved is to declare fealty to radical racial polarization; to be damned is to deny such fealty.” —Ben Shapiro

Re: political theater: “When we look at this administration, the way they’ve treated this whole thing has amounted to a huge amount of theater, as opposed to actual science. When the president comes out with a mask over, and over, and over again, he sends the message implicitly that if you get vaccinated, nothing will change.” —Ben Domenech

Yep: “Dr. Anthony Fauci, the moment he came out last year and said that we needed to shut down schools, he should have been fired.” —Ben Domenech

Non compos mentis: “The proportion of seniors who have been vaccinated is essentially equal between white and seniors of color. I said from the beginning that we we’re going to fight this virus with equity.” —Joe Biden

Straight from the horse’s mouth: “Hate crimes are crimes where there’s an explicit motive and of bias. We don’t have any evidence that Derek Chauvin factored in George Floyd’s race as he did what he did.” —Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison

And last… “Instead of [complaining] about the unfairness of losing a congressional seat, I dunno, maybe start thinking about why residents are fleeing your state like it’s on fire.” —David Burge

I like AOC’s mom. Enjoyed a hard to find interview with her before AOC took office. She knows how to budget. The FIRST thing she did when she retired was move to Florida. She was paying $10,000/year property taxes for her place in NYC and prompty moved to Florida to move in with her aging aunt who pays 875 dollars for property taxes (US) for a modest home. Simply can’t afford 10k a year on her budget for property taxes....not to mention City and State taxes. She ain’t ever coming back.

“Historically, giving the out-party’s response to a president’s speech to a joint session of Congress has been a thankless task. That is, in part, because the out-party’s response, typically delivered to a camera in a more or less empty room, looks lame compared to the excitement in the House chamber.

Last night may have been different, however. Joe Biden’s snoozefest generated no excitement in the near-empty House, and Senator Tim Scott, delivering the GOP’s response, hit back on the central point the Democrats want to press: Scott denied Biden’s claim that America is a “systemically racist” society.”

“Just before COVID, we had the most inclusive economy in my lifetime,” Scott said, touting record progress for minorities in a nation millions continue to seek refuge in from around the globe.

The lowest unemployment ever recorded for African-Americans, Hispanics, and Asian-Americans. The lowest for women in nearly 70 years. Wages were growing faster for the bottom 25 percent than the top 25 percent. That happened because Republicans focused on expanding opportunity for all Americans.

Leftist online keyboard warriors, however, were less than enthusiastic that a black senator dissented from their claim that all black people and minorities are oppressed by a Republican Party supposedly infected with white supremacy........”

Does Tim Scott’s life matter?

‘The Ugly Reaction to Tim Scott’s Speech Is Telling’

“Tim Scott gave a competent Republican response to Joe Biden’s mendacious speech last night. And boy, the contrived, hyperbolic outrage and derision we saw from liberal talking heads was something to behold.

Some of it was just farcical. Take MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace’s contention that the speech, in which Scott praised the Trump administration vaccines, was “delivered from a planet where facts don’t matter.” Operation Warp Speed, she claimed, “didn’t do anything to get a needle in the arms, so a lot of disinformation.” Well, it did help boost the life-saving innovation that flows through those needles – not to mention a million needles into arms every day by the time Joe Biden got his shot.

But Scott’s most controversial statement, allegedly, was to contend that, “America is not a racist country.” All the usual suspects took to social media to mock the senator for simultaneously saying the nation wasn’t racist and pointing out that he had personally experienced bigotry. Of course America is a racist nation, they wailed, before getting “Uncle Tim” trending on Twitter to try and prove it. The Left’s demeaning of any African American who strays from leftist orthodoxy is one of the ugliest acceptable smears in our political discourse.”

‘Biden’s Dishonest Sales Pitch’

President Biden’s address to Congress connected only intermittently with reality.

“On his telling, every good thing that has happened in America since he took office — from vaccination to job creation — is a tribute to his wisdom, rather than a continuation of a trajectory set beforehand. All presidents say such stuff, and they all get away with it, although Senator Tim Scott made a valiant attempt to correct the record. Worse was the dishonesty of Biden’s sales pitch for his policies.

He insinuated that the ten-year ban on assault weapons had reduced the murder rate in the U.S. — something neither careful studies nor a casual look at the trends supports. He pretended that the Trump administration had ended successful efforts to control migration across our southern border, a brazen inversion of the truth. He claimed that the country supports federal legislation that would, among other things, ban states from verifying voters are who they say they are. Poll after poll says otherwise. He promised that Medicare could save hundreds of billions of dollars by cracking down on drugmakers. Not according to the Congressional Budget Office, it can’t.

Biden conjured a world in which there was no danger from unprecedented deficit spending, no possible adverse consequences from raising taxes on corporations and rich people, no spike in violent crime that needs attending, and no foreign threats that demand of us more than platitudes about leadership.

Even as he proposed one of the most radically Left policy agendas in American history, he continued to feign an eagerness to work with Republicans. “

‘Biden pitches government expansion with over $4T in new spending on social programs, infrastructure’
Biden calls for passage of his new $1.8 trillion plan including universal pre-K and tuition free community college

https://justthenews.com/government/congress/biden-begins-pitching-4-trillion-new-federal-spending-joint-address-congress

“In his first major address as president, President Biden on Wednesday night pitched expansion of the U.S. government with over $4 trillion in new spending on child care, tuition free community college, infrastructure and green energy investments.

Biden's $1.8 trillion American Families Plan is the follow-up to his $2.25 trillion American Jobs Plan. The estimated price tag of these plans is in addition to regular government appropriations.”

Oh boy. Half way to the Former News Director’s magic number of 8 trillion....proposed n just 100 days. And that does not include the normal cruise control budget deficits. Exciting times. Can you say ‘runaway inflation’? Have you seen the price of beef and groceries lately? Eyebrow raising stuff. Have you seen the price of deck screws and plywood lately? Even Tuff Shed had to raise their prices. Up, up, and away!

OUR GARBAGE MEDIA AT WORK
The Washington Free Beacon has compiled a supercuts video displaying the judgments of prominent media gasbags on the speeches of President Joe Biden and Senator Tim Scott this past Wednesday evening. The Free Beacon provides this brief introduction:

The media’s adulation of President Biden was in full display after his first joint address to Congress Wednesday night. MSNBC’s Brian Williams drew attention multiple times to the president’s “extraordinary use of voice modulation.” CNN’s David Axelrod equated the speech to President Roosevelt’s fireside chats.

In a sharp pivot from the reviews of Biden’s speech, the response to Republican senator Tim Scott’s (S.C.) rebuttal was less than glowing. MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace said it was a “speech delivered from a planet where facts don’t matter,” and Joy Reid called it “disappointing” and said she was “shocked and a bit embarrassed” for Scott.

The video only runs a little over a minute. If you are familiar with the speeches and can view the video with detachment, you may find it funny.

“Isn’t America the least racist country? Who even competes? We’re by far the most integrated of any. America is becoming a land of spoiled rich kids who would rather die than admit how good they have it.” —Frank J. Fleming

And more Daily Quotes:

Insight: “There will never be a really free and enlightened State until the State comes to recognize the individual as a higher and independent power, from which all its own power and authority are derived, and treats him accordingly.” —Henry David Thoreau (1817-1862)

Upright I: “The message we get today from the Biden administration is that the government needs to save people — that people are unable to help themselves. When people believe this message, they begin to lose their own agency, which can ultimately lead them to become helpless as a learned belief, and therefore always dependent on the government. While we should help those who need it, we need to do so in a way that leads to a productive outcome, as well as a strengthened belief in oneself and one’s ability to move forward under one’s own agency. We do need to work together, but not with the government in the lead or in control.” —Jackie Gingrich Cushman

Upright II: “We often hear or read arguments from the left about inner cities, such as Baltimore or Chicago, being examples of violence run amuck that highlight the need for more gun control. However, proponents of these measures don’t always want to deal with poverty, family breakdown, education or economic opportunities. When people are better educated, financially secure and are happy with their family life and their community outlook, they are more likely to be constructive members of society and less likely to go down a dangerous path. Today, there is clearly a lack of pride, security, belonging and ownership that is so fundamental to continued success of any society.” —Armstrong Williams

Upright III: “People who dwell on grievances are going to dwell on grievances for the rest of their lives. People who advocate a racially based curriculum are not teaching peace but a long line of complaints that can only increase hostility among the citizenry.” —R. Emmett Tyrrell

For the record: “Once they began to charge exorbitantly, educate poorly, politick continuously, indebt millions of people and act hypocritically, universities turned off Americans. Just as a sermonizing Hollywood grates when it no longer can make good movies, a once-hallowed but now self-righteous university seems hollow when it charges so much for so little.” —Victor Davis Hanson

The BIG Lie: “Operation Warp Speed didn’t do anything to get a needle in the arms.” —MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace

Race bait: “Our country’s foundation is one of genocide, capitalist inhumanity, and exploitation. We need to transform our country, uproot that foundation, and rebuild on our shared values of love, care, and equality.” —Congressman Jamaal Bowman

Lack of self-awareness: “Will our Republican colleagues start to listen to their constituents as well as the rest of the country? Or are they still the party of Donald Trump? A party that opposes the other side at all costs.” —obstructionist Senator Chuck Schumer

D'oh! “Biden could be as transformative a president as FDR. But FDR didn’t have to contend with a paranoid, xenophobic, racist opposition drenched in lies and extremist propaganda from right-wing media.” —former Labor Secretary Robert Reich (“More than 110,000 Japanese American prisoners were imprisoned during World War II in FDR’s internment camps, which opened in 1942.” —Mediaite)

Non compos mentis: “A rising group of right-wing U.S. Catholic bishops is colliding with a very Catholic president who supports abortion rights.” —The Washington Post

Never distressed with Punch......I find it charming when he thinks he's delivered a devastating rhetorical point in that Matlocky "YES or NO" way of his. I'm digging the fact that even with Trump out of office he's found the strength to soldier on.....defending the most Trump like of all the Dems but so much less entertaining unless you consider falling down the stairs for Air Force One entertaining as physical comedy.

In fact I find all Georges progressive NPC's endearing in their own way...."Roberta- the Menopausal Wine Aunt", Keach-The Man of a Thousand (or more) Online Personalities.... A story I have been following in the Euro press. A civil war looming in France?

Money quote: “It is easy to see that the time for hesitation is over. Otherwise, tomorrow, civil war will put an end to this growing chaos, and there will be thousands of deaths, of which you will bear responsibility.”

WILL *FRANCE* SAVE WESTERN CIVILIZATION?

“Well the next shoe has dropped over in France. Earlier this week about 1,200 military officers, some retired but many still in active ranks, issued a statement decrying the “mortal danger” France faces from increasing violence from you-know-who. Our friends at the Claremont Institute posted a translation of the document, noting in their introduction:

Harris Interactive polling shows 58% of the French people support the letters’ signatories. Despite strenuous elite attempts to delegitimize even thinking such thoughts, 84% of those polled can see that violence in the country is increasing daily. A full 73% agree France is in decline.

Here’s the whole statement:”

https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2021/04/will-france-save-western-civilization.php

These are not just former Generals and former military officers like we have on the USA media. No, many of these signatories are active military personnel. They are alarmed by the gang warfare types in France’s no-go zone ghettos. Of all the countries off the top of my mind, France alone has bore the lion’s share of constant Islamist terrorism. Everywhere one goes in France today, from the train stations to museums, soldiers with rifles slung from their shoulders are part of the normal scenery. Darn near everyplace where the public gathers or frequents.

In France no matter ones race, creed, origin, religion, beliefs, or non-beliefs, all are French. Not so with the Islamics.

From 'Political Calculations' 29 April 2021: Visualizing ICL's Pandemic Model's Failures.
https://politicalcalculations.blogspot.com/

"We called the failure of Neil Ferguson's Imperial College London (ICL) epidemiological model to reasonably project the severity of the coronavirus pandemic The Biggest Math Story of 2020. Now, armed with a year of actual outcomes to compare with its projections, analysts are able to quantify just how badly off the mark it was.

The visualized results confirm Neil Ferguson's ICL epidemiological model deviated anywhere from multiples to multiple orders of magnitude from reality. That matters because the ICL model was used to justify restrictive measures that harmed many people's livelihoods and well-being. It will take years to recover from the resulting disruption."

There are 2 bar graphs showing just how far off, using actual data, the guesses for March 2020 were. Don't you feel so good when the experts determine what your fate will be? You are such stupid dolts, the experts always say.

Here's your guy trump being described as "beyond pathetic" in a rant video from Mar-a-Lago. Follow the link I'm providing to see your guy in person if you don't believe the post. He's so pathetic it's actually sad. But I hope he keeps going and destroys what's left of the Republican Party.

"In a video posted to Twitter, former President Donald Trump can be seen standing before an unoccupied drum set addressing a small crowd from a stage at Mar-a-Lago and hinting that enough ballots may be found in the Arizona voting audit to change the 2020 presidential election.

Response to the clip of the former president, and now Mar-a-Lago resident, complaining about what he called a "rigged" election -- five months after the fact -- led to an avalanche of ridicule with one Trump critic saying the former president has now gone "beyond pathetic."
