In the category of "surely you jest".

Jared, the person who people wanted to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his wonderful peace effort in Israel, Kushner signed a book deal that promises to tell the "truth" " about what happened behind closed doors." "“His book will be the definitive, thorough recounting of the administration," says publisher Broadside Publications.

The truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth...just like his father-in-law and mentor.

LOL Emery!! Care to prove it's fake news?

Still 25% higher than Trump at the same time in his Presidency Don. Check it out:

Sorry Emery,, it's a discredited poll.

Now this is an accurate "poll"
Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent snub of Coca-Cola at the Euro 2020 game press conference has cost the company $4 billion.
It all started when the 36-year-old soccer superstar took his seat in front of the media this week ahead of Portugal’s game against Hungary and spotted two bottles of Coke. With a look of disgust, he removed those bottles out of the shot of the media. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The soccer superstar then grabbed a water bottle held it up and said out loud for the room to hear, “Agua” and appeared to say something under his breath about the soda company.
It was at that moment, the beverage company’s share price dropped by 1.6% to $55.22, ESPN reported in a piece published Wednesday. Coca-Cola’s market value also went from $242 billion to $238 billion."

It's RCP consensus poll which includes Rasmussen. Can you show me documentation that its discredited? RCP is actually a rather Conservative website.

Good quotes today. Nails it.

Insight: “The purpose of studying economics is not to acquire a set of ready-made answers to economic questions, but to learn how to avoid being deceived by economists.” —Joan Robinson (1903-1983)

Upright: “Our institutions must stop treating students like helpless children whose delicate feelings must be protected and start requiring maturation. Colleges and universities are supposed to prepare students to excel in a world that does not revolve around them, not protect them from such a world. Institutions of higher education should be intellectual boot camps developing our future leaders, not daycare centers coddling adults who refuse to grow up.” —Oliver North & David Goetsch

For the record: “America could survive the radical takeover of sports, but it cannot survive the Left destroying our military. We discovered last year that security is essential, sports are not. If sports become unbearably woke, we can always turn off the game and find another hobby. If the military becomes unbearably woke, then we will find ourselves defenseless against increasingly aggressive foreign adversaries like China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran, not to mention non-state terrorists.” —Tony Perkins

Political futures: “Politics is fluid, elections are multitudinous, and voter behavior is often too complicated and subtle to be reduced to group identity. Ethnicity doesn’t determine elections — ideas do. And as Democrats have been realizing to their chagrin, the ideas embodied in Republican campaign messaging turn out to have a powerful appeal to many foreign-born and nonwhite voters.” —Jeff Jacoby

Nailed it: “The vice president galavanted around Central America and Mexico last week looking for the ‘root causes’ [of illegal immigration]. I could’ve saved the taxpayer the travel expenses. The root causes are right up the street at 1600 Pennsylvania. It’s Joe Biden and Kamala Harris running on an open-borders campaign.” —Senator Tom Cotton

Re: The panderer-in-chief: “When you think about having an aggressive policy towards Russia, you don’t kill your own energy pipeline and you don’t help them finish their energy pipeline through Germany — which is what the Biden administration just did. [Biden has] kind of been all over the place but now he’s just moved into straight-up flattering of Vladimir Putin when months ago he was calling him a killer.” —Mollie Hemingway

Belly laugh of the week: “In the history of our country, Americans have never seen a president of the United States support an adversary the way Trump supported President Putin.” —Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer

The BIG Lie: “In the FBI’s view, the top domestic violent extremist threat comes from racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists, specifically those who advocated for the superiority of the white race.” —Attorney General Merrick Garland (“The Biden-Harris administration is governing and establishing policy using the tenets and precepts of Critical Race Theory as its template. These words from Merrick Garland are thoroughly immersed in the language of Critical Race Theory.” —Darrell B. Harrison)

Hogwash: “The FBI still doesn’t exactly know what that [2017 congressional baseball] shooter was up to. They never really uncovered the sort of detailed evidence that laid out a specific plot or an objective.” —former FBI agent Andy McCabe (“Hmm. You mean the Bernie supporter who asked where the congressional Republicans were while holding a rifle in his hand? Yeah, this one is a puzzler all right.” —James Woods)

Lack of self-awareness: “The Big Lie is deeply corrosive because as a democracy we can’t really function if people think that elections are not valid.” —Democrat Congressman Ted Lieu, whose party rendered the 2016 election invalid by seeding actual big lies

Non compos mentis: “Uh, there are certain, uh, people who do not, uh, have, uh, gender identities that apply to female or male, uh, so we think our language needs to be more inclusive and how we deal with complex issues.” —OMB Deputy Director Shalanda Young explaining why “mother” will now be referred to as “birthing person”

Busted: “Do we know her whereabouts? We should just have her picked up before she goes on. This is outrageous.” —Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel in an email to her staff to stop a restaurant owner from appearing on Fox News to discuss that state’s lockdown orders

And last… “If there is not equality of outcomes among people born to the same parents and raised under the same roof, why should equality of outcomes be expected — or assumed — when conditions are not nearly so comparable?” —Thomas Sowell

At NATO And G7, Biden Advances An ‘America Last’ Foreign Policy

President Biden’s first foreign trip wasn’t just an embarrassing disaster, it heralds the return of the disastrous foreign policy of the Obama-Biden era

“And so it is once again. The Obama-era foreign policy that Biden is trying to resuscitate — weakness toward China and Russia, deference to a comprised WHO, money for Iran, more U.S. troops and NATO funding for Europe, climate change and wokeness at the State Department and the Pentagon — is not for Americans, it’s for the global institutions and interests that benefit from maintaining a pre-Trump foreign policy status quo that puts America, and Americans, last.“

Bonus! Blast from the recent past. Polling Dancer cries out to Dr. Rebane, “GEORGE, do you consider The Federalist a source of news?””” GEORGE, answer me GEORGE! (George said yes.)

‘How Mollie Hemingway exposed A Major Media Failure’

“...Senior Editor Mollie Hemingway joins Culture Editor Emily Jashinsky to discuss how the corporate media’s lie that U.S. Park Police cleared “peaceful protesters” at Lafayette Square last summer so then-President Donald Trump could take a photo in front of St. John’s Church was weaponized by the left to push an agenda.

“The media are political actors,” Hemingway said. “They’re unaccountable political actors. This was something that they should have known was false from the get-go.”

Not only did the corporate media’s willingness to spread lies give the Democrats a “huge electoral gift,” Hemingway said, but it also set the tone for their coverage of the rest of the summer of rage.

“Nobody was able to restore law and order for the summer, and that resulted in dozens upon dozens of deaths, billions of dollars in damage, and the permanent destruction of small businesses. And this was one of the lingering side effects of that false narrative,” Hemingway said. “It literally led to death, and nobody seems to care about the costs associated with the left’s summer of violence or, you know, just the property loss, the damage, the psychological toll on the country of losing our bonds that keep us together. They felt it was very justified to do this in pursuit of their agenda. … Our media took sides“.....

Neither will face jail time, though the pair's firearms will be destroyed by state authorities."
The mob had broken down a gate (destruction of private property) and trespassed onto a private road while issuing violent threats against the McCloskeys. The McCloskeys 'brandished' weapons and that is considered assault and harassment? Glad I don't live in that state.

When nights are cold and lonely
Stand by your bad orange man

Trump is quoted as saying about the elections "let's see what happened about that". He can do that for the next 3 years but he will find out what we all know is that he lost because he lost in crucial states that resulted in a "massive" victory for Biden. That quote was from Trump when he applauded his victory in 2016 by saying "We had a massive landslide victory, as you know, in the Electoral College." which, by the way, was the same number of electoral votes that Biden received in 2020.

What a hoot. This Trump guy is such an idiot.

On Thursday’s episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” the eponymous host took on CNN’s Brian Stelter and his Sunday program, “Reliable Sources.” The show, Rogan said, is “f—ing terrible.”

The trouble seems to have started when Stelter noted on air that some YouTube personalities pull in more viewers than cable news networks.

“They were describing it as if they were entitled to viewers. This is because the market has spoken and your show’s f—ing terrible,” Rogan fumed.

A spokesperson for CNN did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Rogan added that Stelter’s show keeps “slipping and slipping and slipping” in ratings. That is fair — Nielsen Media Research ratings data from May shows declines for “Reliable” in total average viewers and key-demo viewers between the ages of 25 and 54, both year-to-date and April to May.

Rogan also criticized Stelter’s recent interview with White House press secretary Jen Psaki: “How about Brian Stelter talking to the press secretary saying, ‘What are we doing wrong? What are we doing wrong?’ Like, hey motherf—er, you’re supposed to be a journalist.” The popular podcaster concluded that he didn’t know if he could ever be a cable anchor because “that gig is a strange gig.”

In addition to “that gig,” Stelter is an author who recently released a paperback copy of his 2020 book about Fox News, “Hoax.” The paperback included new chapters and, according to Nielsen Bookscan data cited in the Daily Mail Thursday night, has sold 1,738 copies since its June 8 release.

You would think someone who proposed this would be fired asap but NOOOO it 'academia' =

It says “speciesist” hate speech is as bad as racism.

The proposals — published in the Oxford Journal of Legal Studies — would see cats, dogs, farm animals, even seagulls safeguarded.

And the plans ignore the fact animals can’t be offended by words.

Last night Tory MP Nigel Mills branded the idea “utter woke nonsense” and “a complete waste of time”.

Dr Josh Milburn and Dr Alasdair Cochrane of the University of Sheffield suggest it could be hate speech to say the lives of a non-native species matter less than a native one.

They say it would be impractical to censure wounding words “only if they actually wound”.

So they want you to give up your car for a leaf, however reality has set in, its cool if you have to go down the street but you are screwed if you need to actually road trip so they are giving them back. -

Roughly 20% of electric vehicle owners in California replaced their cars with gas ones, a recent study shows.

The main reason drivers made the switch was the inconvenience of charging.

The findings suggest new challenges facing the growth of the nascent electric vehicle market.

See more stories on Insider's business page.

In roughly three minutes, you can fill the gas tank of a Ford Mustang and have enough range to go about 300 miles with its V8 engine.

But for the electric Mustang Mach-E, an hour plugged into a household outlet gave Bloomberg automotive analyst Kevin Tynan just three miles of range.

"Overnight, we're looking at 36 miles of range," he told Insider. "Before I gave it back to Ford, because I wanted to give it back full, I drove it to the office and plugged in at the charger we have there."

on EVs: c'est la vie, a dedicated charger is essentially a no-brainer since a car is going to need at least (probably more) what they have now in terms of power storage (70kwh on one of those Fords?) and a house circuit only has what it has. No way around it. Improvements in battery tech won't make much difference except for a bit of weight reduction.

Electric cars will phase in (so to speak) bit by bit as prices reduce, and people like the idea of near-zero maintenance, low fuel cost, and not having to deal with the utter torture of smog checks(tm). No need to force the issue, but no doubt the State will try. The fun part will be the lack of sufficient generation capability to meet the needs of cars and new housing construction if they force everyone off of natgas.

I was having an enjoyable morning reading about the 'transabled' and ran into this essay.

It's filled with plenty of funny stories, but the money shot is the last paragraph

"If you’re Anti-Woke, you need to get your head straight about what you’re fighting. Attacking Woke Dogma piecemeal may get you Twitter followers or Patreon money, but it does nothing to diminish the Woke. In fact, it gives them ideas about where to evolve their thing next, like with Dolezal. In order to fight this thing you need it’s clone, your own 4GW program with its own means of establishing controlled updates to “basic human decency” that doesn’t have the inherent flaws in the Woke’s beta test. Without that, you’re just going to get overrun."

It's worth considering what that program might be. Building a sustainable program from mocking insane people or pearl-clutching about other peoples' rapidly increasing tribalism is not a plan. Any suggestions are welcome.

On the subject of (no so)ECO friendly cars,, I get a kick out of seeing those charging stations at the likes of 7-11.

Another morbid joy, is to hear the news in the car about Sac., Frisco, and other big LIB cities putting a moratorium on nat. gas for any new construction and going all elec.,, then followed by "FLEX ALLERT"- There may be rolling blackouts due to elec. shortage".

So where is the power going to come from to supply the demand for all these "all elec" dreams?
I bet your going to love your power bill just for this last week. That power meter has been spinning like a top.

I guess PG&E needs to recoup money somehow to crawl out of BK.

"“Starting 2022, the tax credit will phase out for wind energy and that has something to do with [Biden’s] production tax credit for wind and fossil fuels,” Dockter said during the interview.

On June 8, MFG announced it would shut down its South Dakota factory in August, blaming a variety of factors including Biden’s tax policies. The factory has produced wind turbine blades since 2007, the company said.

“The closure comes as a result of changes in market conditions, foreign competition and proposed revisions to tax policies impacting the wind energy industry in the United States,” MFG said in a statement."

I see new Trump voters.

Administrivia - I draw your kind attention to the recent update of Scattershots.

Bill Tozer

Gregory. Good, it’s now making the rounds. Start at 2:00 and watch last 30 seconds, but whole thing good. It’s you.

WOW Libs,, pissed because you won't get paid for not doing your duty? Walking out because you couldn't get your way?
Now YOU complain? Payback's a bitch.

I call your attention to the 'Joys of goombah' -- it seems Commerce Sec. Wilber Ross picked up at least $53 million from private companies, some of which he was supposed to be monitoring, while collecting his government salary and watching out for the pubic's interests.
Acccording to Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, “Even in an administration characterized by corruption, Ross became notorious for mixing personal business with his government role" including, according to Forbes, setting up "a special purpose acquisition company that reportedly attracted $300 million from investors. He established the company in the Cayman Islands in January while he was still in public office."

He was also engaged in trade negotiations with China that were in conflict with his personal holdings in Navigator Holdings and Diamond S Shipping.

goombah goombah goombah.. you have to love it. Trump and co. pulled of the biggest con in American history and here you guys have your panties in bundle over recognizing the fact that vast fortunes were obtained through slave labor. Damned if you are and damned if you're not.

So Bobby,, he is doing what LIBS do.. Yet no complaint about that. Why is that Babs?
You going to buy some of "Crack" hunter's fine art?

RX 530pm - Your report is somewhat confusing. If the man was involved in criminality, shouldn't he be under indictment by the current Biden DoJ? Do you trust your sources?

Don Bessee

A fevered brain is a major handicap, no source as usual. LOL

Don Bessee

Joe Biden returned from his sojourn to the UK and Europe to face a growing list of domestic headaches as his big-spending policies stalled and were also blamed for rising inflation.

Mr Biden's initial "American Jobs Plan" called for a record $2.3 trillion in infrastructure spending. Republicans fought hard to stop that and it is now bogged down in Congress.

While Mr Biden was meeting Vladimir Putin in Geneva a bipartisan group of 21 senators - 11 Republicans and 10 Democrats - came up with a compromise that would almost halve the amount to $1.2 trillion over eight years.

The resulting gridlock explains why a Monmouth University poll this week made worrying reading for Mr Biden after Air Force One landed back in the US.

His approval rating was 48 per cent, down six points from April and below 50 per cent for the first time in a Monmouth poll.

The number of Democrats who think the country is "moving in the right direction" has plummeted from 83 per cent in April to 59 per cent now.

Don Bessee

Hey its racist to expect them to report their income, right? But it might help explain the multi million dollar real estate portfolio -

Patrisse Cullors failed to disclose significant donations: report
Dignity and Power Now also reportedly did not disclose its donations to the California attorney general, which regulates charities in the state

Speaking of brain dead..Don Bessee. "no source as usual". ..if you are referring to me then what is " Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington" or Forbes if not a source, a antifa rioter dressed in a MAGA t-shirt and hat?

George; if you are so confused maybe you ought to polish up your reading skills.

This guy sure knows how to piss off LIBS.

So Dipshit Bobby,, just where was YOUR SURCE? from your above line of crap?

Don Bessee

So put the links because that lets folks read it all otherwise its just more approved talking points that are cherry picked. #toolazyorscaredofanalisys LOL

Wilber Ross

‘Trump official set up a $300 million acquisition company in the Caymans -- while he was still in office’

Oh Wilbur.

X-dude 9:19 - "George; if you are so confused maybe you ought to polish up your reading skills."
You lefties are a scream.
Zero evidence there was any wrong-doing.
Zero evidence the man didn't do his job well.
ANYTHING to keep from seeing what goes on at the Biden Crime Syndicate.

Here we go again with the weaponized IRS.

A Christian non-profit is challenging the Internal Revenue Service after the agency denied them tax-exempt status saying “the Bible’s teachings are typically affiliated with the Republican Party and candidates.”

Yet the LIBS are bitch pissed because the Church is about to deny them communion?

" But Repubs are pro death penalty" (yes, for the vermin of the earth. Not the innocent unborn) You know some of that "eye for an eye" that in the scripture.
