Was Schmidt one of the Lincoln Project guys who was abusing young male staffers for gay sex (no wonder why Punchy cited them so often) or was he just in it for the money?

Scott O

It just does not end -
I think the reason B/C can't find any record of it is because they thought he meant a job as a lawyer.
They forgot Biden was a trucker. He wanted a job driving a logging truck!
Complete with the usual Biden habit of drifting off into space:
"He added: “And in the meantime there was a war going on. Anyway..."
Spanish American War? Who knows? And what has that got to do with the story he was making up?
Get the hook!

Scott O

Walt 4:12 - Got to wonder what drugs these people are on:
"...as much as I blame Donald Trump after years of vandalism, the near-collapse of the government of the United States.”

The more we see the damage the Dems are causing our country, the more deranged the charges are against Trump.
I think TDS has and will do more damage to peoples' brains than any flu possibly could.

President Abraham Biden....

LOL Fishy!!

I'm sure the Spector of Emery will show up sometime after 8.

Anyone surprised -

C'mon Don,, You know how Emery gets, He hasn't done it.
He's not to blame. Some RINO will vote for it, and Emery will blame him.

Before the pony tail of ignorance shows up, even if gavin survives the mark of doom is on the socialist dems -

“The marked decline in support for President Joe Biden and his administration nationally and in key swing states indicates that the Democratic Party could endure a blowout defeat in the 2022 midterm elections,” Schoen wrote.

The political consultant outlined the dichotomy between Biden’s current position of weakness and the more stable positions that President Barack Obama and President Clinton experienced as they approached their first midterm elections:

Moreover, Biden is in a significantly weaker position now than both of his most recent Democratic predecessors — Bill Clinton and Barack Obama — at this point in their presidencies, which suggests that Democrats could suffer even more substantial losses in 2022 than the party did in 1994 and 2010.

According to poll numbers that were published on September 8, Biden’s approval rating has dipped to 39 percent which marks the lowest of his presidency to date. The poll showed that 49 percent of Americans disapprove of the job the President is doing

While nearly 86 percent of Democrat voters approved of Biden’s performance 2 weeks ago, 77 percent now approve of his work, marking a nine percent drop in only a week.

Lets not forget that newsome did it to himself -

As California voters descended upon their polling centers Tuesday to decide the fate of Governor Gavin Newsom, a restaurant critic noted that the recall election would not be possible without Newsom’s infamous French Laundry scandal from November of last year.

In an op-ed for the New York Times, California restaurant critic Tejal Rao that the images of Gavin Newsom dining maskless at the most luxurious, exclusive restaurant in the Golden State while ordering small businesses to comply with his crippling coronavirus restrictions kicked the recall into high gear.

Though she opposed the recall election, Lisa Bonos of the Washington Post agreed that Newsom’s French Laundry scandal fueled the recall effort in a way that was not previously possible.

“The recall effort was underway long before Newsom sat down to dinner here. But the meal provided red meat for Republicans opposed to his liberal policies and others who see the governor as elitist and out of touch,” noted Bonos.

During the fall of 2020, Gov. Gavin Newsom kept restaurants from serving food indoors and at full capacity, a rule that prompted cries of hypocrisy after photos leaked of him attending an in-person dinner at Napa’s luxurious French Laundry restaurant. Award-winning journalist Adam Housley — a previous Emmy, AP, and RTNDA recipient — claimed that the maskless dinner had 22 guests and ran up a bar bill of over $15k.

“Because Yountville is my hometown..and where the French Laundry is located…I thought I’d do some digging. Facts about the Newsom dinner. The bar bill was around 15-thousand. 22 people in attendance, not 12. No masks. All indoors. They got so loud, other patrons complained,” Housley tweeted.

“There was ‘zero effort’ to go outside and there was no social distancing of any type. I’m also told some of those there are now privately laughing at the controversy. Remember this is my little hometown. The walls speak,” he added.

""If you don’t come along, you’re really f---ing me," Biden said during the call, according to the book, which was excerpted by the Post."

Well, did you get a kiss first? Then you would really know.

Don Bessee

It sure as hell looks like the reports of peaceful protests were overlooking something -

But Uptown appears frozen in time since that night in August.

Much of the main commercial corridor is still boarded up or crumbling, the brick walls of empty businesses streaked with soot. Inside the shells of buildings that burned, debris is slowly rotting, the smell of mold wafting onto the sidewalk.

“You barely see people here anymore,” said Darrayal Jenkins, 40, as he walked past several burned buildings in July. “It’s like a ghost town.”

Well Trump is calling it BS,
"“The good news is that the story is Fake News concocted by a weak and ineffective General together with two authors who I refused to give an interview to because they write fiction, not fact. Actions should be taken immediately against Milley, and better generals in our Military, of which we have many, should get involved so that another Afghanistan disaster never happens again. Remember, I was the one who took out 100% of the ISIS Caliphate. Milley said it couldn’t be done,” he added."

It could just be a hit job.

Bill Tozer

Now hold your horses about Milley. Oh he did bad by America alright, but......

Richard Grenell
Bob Woodward has become the Michael Wolff of Washington, DC.

It’s hard to believe anything the two of them write.

Trump isn’t a war starter and I don’t believe Milley thought he was.

I remember in 2016 a Trump Campaign car caravan when through some tree lined neighborhood and there was old fat disheveled Bernstein in his white underwear with robe wind open and drunker than a skunk standing on the doorway yelling “FU Trump” as the cars and cameras rolled by....in the friggin morning. He has definitely got the red puffed up alkie face last time I saw him on Lamestream Cable. Too much slipper time.

So, guilt by association. Go pound sand Woodward and Bernstein. Forget where you came from? Or like Fauci, been in DC too long.

Wonder how much Milley was involved in the Ukraine phone call.

Paul Emery

Sad day for the RR's

It's a rout. Elder will join Trump in the losers Hall of Shame.

Paul Emery

They are calling it 67-32 for recall Pathetic Elder effort

Bill Tozer

32? Really. We picked up more Hispanic and Latino voters than I thought. Looking good. Still have a ways to go.

Rigged Emery, People still standing in line to vote all over the state. But you don't care about cheating. The end justifies the means. Not once have you ever denounced LIB cheating.

Just because LIB news "calls" a winner,, don't make it so.

Paul Emery

Bill, Walt

62% of the vote in. No is winning 67% to 33% So Bill with approx 38% yet to come in do you really think the Yes can make up those numbers?

I am surprised you did not call Larry Elder, the Sage of South Central, a ‘coon’ our ‘houseboy’. That’s what your comrades have been calling Larry Elder for years. More recently, the White Supremist....just like they keep trying to pin on Candace Owens.

Enjoy your racist celebrations. Go ahead and call Elder a ‘coon’. Get it off your chest and wake up feeling yourself.

Bill Tozer

Paul @ 9:11 pm

No, those numbers are hard to overcome. Give it 1 in 200 chance. But, I have seen a lot more stranger things happen. But, this isn’t the 2020 federal election either.

Paul Emery

You didn't support Obama Bill so does does that make you a racist?

Sad day for the RR's

How do you figure Punch?

Punchy is just rehearsing his abysmal winner act.

Paul Emery

It was a rout for no recall. Also Nevada County reaffirmed it's Blueness voting 60-40 at last count for no recall.

What exactly is a abysmal winner act Gregory. Also when such a dreary candidate as Newsom wins so big something is really wrong with the Repubs.

Barry Pruett

Paul supports “…such a dreary candidate as Newsom…” What does that say about you? Lol.

It's what you're doing, Punch. Acting as a classless, abysmal winner... meaning you chose a side that apparently is winning by a smaller margin than you are claiming. You didn't have a thing to do with it.

Elder blew out the cattle call. Not bad for a newbie.

There will be interesting takes on the election in the coming weeks, just not by Punchy.

Gregory: "It's what you're doing, Punch. Acting as a classless, abysmal winner"

The thing is, if you're in the same corner as the ruling class you're going to win most of the time. 'twas ever thus.

Now that the Democrats have distanced themselves from people who actually do useful things for a living there's no guilt for their various mouthpieces...non-profit drones, school administrators, 'activists', bar musicians, surveillance advertising computer programmers. An economy built on borrowing from the Chinese, spying, speculative investments, and gubmint checks should be sustainable in perpetuity.

In any case, if it wasn't Newsom in office, it would simply be his doppelganger. My take is to kick back and enjoy the show.

Here's an interesting take, from The Bee (Babylon, not Sac):

SACRAMENTO, CA—The nation is cheering this morning after Gavin Newsom defeated a recall election, ensuring that the Democrat Newsom fans who live there will stay put.

"We were getting ready to escape the state if a black man had been elected governor," said one local insane Communist Democrat Newsom fan while taking his morning poop on the sidewalk. "But now that our favorite progressive governor is safe, we know we can stay!"

Experts are warning that some Democrats may still leave the state in spite of having a progressive governor, in search of things like food, water, electricity, shelter, and jobs. Several states are preparing for the potential onslaught of California refugees by building tall border walls to keep escaping Democrats out.

Still, many believe that keeping Gavin Newsom as governor will result in many Democrats staying in California where they belong.

"This is sad news for California, but wonderful news for the rest of us!" said Texas Governor Greg Abbot. "Stay put in California, Libs! Say 'hi' to Newsom for me! Yee Haw!"

"In any case, if it wasn't Newsom in office, it would simply be his doppelganger. My take is to kick back and enjoy the show."

In our case the show.....localyl.....consisted of a poll obsessed screwball who couldn't explain why Newsome's departure would have had any impact on the state at all.

I guess when you have a butterfly collection all you want to talk about is butterflies.

Bill Tozer

“Elder blew out the cattle call. Not bad for a newbie.” —Gregory @ 10:13 pm

I agree 100%. Not bad for a novice like Elder throwing his hat into the ring. For awhile there we got to watch them sweat. Sweat big time. While the actual Recall petition started awhile back and was focused solely on Gavin Newsom, the Dems playbook was to make it all about Elder.

I don’t mind Punchy doing the Moon Dance. It was David vs Goliath from the get-go and Punch has had not much to celebrate with Biden’s polls moving in a direction more towards hell than heaven.

While not all votes are counted yet, I will make lemonade when life gives you lemons: Looks like Nevada County, CA has a higher percentage of voters voting Yes on Recall than the state’s results. Over 40%. :)

Yes, let Punchy do a jig. Can’t stop him anyway and the libertarian streak in me would not allow it. Kinda ironic that Elder is more Libertarian than Punchy.
The most probable outcome now is the schools will be shut down again.

Speaking of schools.....back to normal. Or is it? The fight must go on

Maybe if the FBI was actually interested in investigating real crimes and not playing partisan politics, the FBI would have protected these young girls. Under the leadership of Comey and during the Obama administration, these girls were not protected despite knowing what was going on. Get back to real crime investigation and stop with the deep state partisan politics maybe.

Really Emery? Then that explains the bad smell.

How many times now has the imported constituents of Frisco almost burned down Grass Valley?

Good news for Emery. Another business is leaving the state from Nevada County. Another electrical contractor is packing up and heading for Texas. Kiss those tax dollars goodbye.

“That you are a partisan hack. There were many many candidates to choose from.”
Posted by: Barry Pruett | 15 September 2021 at 08:58 AM

Quite true about many candidates to choose from, Barry, but lost in the static. Wonder how Bruce Jenner did. A celebrity, won the Olympic Gold in the men’s decathlon, had his picture on the box of Wheaties......guess CA ain’t ready for a transgender as Governor.
As far as Punchy being a partisan hack....well, this is my take:

Imagine a younger Paul Emery, just a kid really, but a man. His weekend assignment at the time with the Guard (Reserves) was to spend all day off loading American flag draped caskets of our fallen brought back from Nam. Must have off-loaded hundreds if not thousands of soldiers, Airmen, Marines, and Sailors. That must of taken a emotional toll. Maybe not, but probably.

All those planes full of caskets and Punchy dutifully and respectfully welcomed each one home, back to the USA. Now he supports a President that purposefully by design left Americans behind in another hellhole of a foreign land.

A soldier’s prayer during the Korean War was, “God, please don’t let me die in this frozen rice paddy.” The soldier who wrote those words described what it was like during his death process. They found his words written on paper on his body. God, please don’t left me die in this hellhole. He wanted to die at home...America, his home.

I do applaud a younger Paul Emery for doing his small, yet important, part in bringing our fallen home. Not exactly a popular thing to do at the time when the returning vertical were spit on and reviled by his contemporaries on the Left. He did his part in ensuring no one left behind. We had a hand in bringing our boys “home”. Home to America, the home of the brave.

Turn the page and that same Paul Emery now vigorously supports the man who made the decision to leave Americans behind. What makes it worse is they are unarmed civilians. Fodder for the slaughter. Collateral Damage for political advantage. Left behind. Left behind. Left behind. I could never ever support Left Behind. Not in a thousand lifetimes.

Punchy a partisan hack? America was never great?

For yesterday's news tomorrow, I'd sure like to hear more about how 300 ballots got into a crackhead's car.

In your very brief critique of the Afghanistan situation you do not mention in any way the neglected responsibility of bringing our troops home from the last three Presidents who created the situation. In the last 20 years we lost thousands of lives and trillions of dollars occupying a country that really didn't want us there and refused to defend themselves when we decided to leave. Are there unfortunate victims? You bet there are but the damage was already done due to Bush, Obama and Trump not Biden.

You bet there are but the damage was already done due to Bush, Obama and Trump not Biden.

Very true......and the cherry on the sundae that is Afghanistan was President Craps his Pantz utter fuck up on the withdrawal. Of course we direct your attention to Joeys former boss.....”Never underestimate Joe’s ability to fuck things up....”

(I again notice that you omit Biden’s ongoing support for not just Afghanistan but Iraq, and others while he warmed a chair as a senator.)

Paul Emery

There is such a thing as learning from your mistakes. When we first got into Afganistan 20 years ago it was to confront the Osama situation that let to 9/11. It was not even remotely proposed that were we to stay there 20 years. How did that come to be Bill and fish and who was responsible?

"Bush, Obama and Trump not Biden."

Biden had been a Senator for a lifetime already, and it was bin Laden who subverted the Afghans in the first place.

There is such a thing as learning from your mistakes.

Not in D.C. it seems as is demonstrated by staying 20 years and being constantly supported by long time pols like Joe Biden.

Bill Tozer

Paul @ 10:34 am
I am only holding Biden responsible for his role of closing up shop. Not the Afghan War, not the length of the war, not how the ‘Good War’ (as you once called it) started with the backing and approval of our Congress after 9/11. I do hold Biden ACCOUNTABLE for pulling out our military first and leaving Americans behind. Just his role.
Biden was VP for eight years of that war, but I do not hold him responsible for those 8 years. He was only the VP. I hold Biden accountable for the last 3 months. For the last 3 months Biden knew the Tailban was on the march raking in chips like Grant took Richmond.

I do hold Biden responsible and accountable for pulling the aircover for the Afghan Army. I hold Biden at fault for abandoning the Bagram Military Airfield with 5,000 ISIS prisoners housed to go defend a civilian airport in the middle of Afghanistan’s largest city controlled 360 by forces hostile to the US. I do hold Biden accountable for leaving our allies in the dark and without US command and control to fend for themselves.

The thirteen US Marines that were blown to Kingdom Come along with hundreds of civilians were killed because they were given a suicide mission...which was their was their duty and sacred honor. The thirteen were flown in outside Kabul and raced to the surrounded civilian airport to help control outside of the gate to the airport and the mission was to save lives of those Americans and SIVs that were denied entrance by the Taliban. They were the reinforcements....13...the calvary to the rescue sent to the Alamo during the battle. 13 against thousands. No help, no air over, no military backup. That’s all Biden left us to make sure No Americans were left behind. Those at the airport defending our Embassy staff were not allowed to go outside the fence. No missions to go out into Kabul and bring our people home.

The Brits sent in their Special Forces that did go out into the streets and rescue their citizens behind enemy lines. The Germans sent their elite and in a gun battle rescued some of their citizens with no help from our military. So did the French. Canada? No. They left 1,200 behind. They trusted us.

I do not blame Biden for anything other than his decisions to leave Americans behind when he was at the helm.

‘Who and What Is Tearing the U.S. Apart?’

As you said, Paul Emery, ‘only 13 causalities ’. Minimize Biden’s decisions as President all you want, Paul Emery. Minimize it til hell freezes over and death do us part.
PS: Biden left zero ‘escape outposts’ for the few Americans that were stranded. Zero escape outposts.

Paul Emery to Barry:

“I would have kept the other airport open and some escaoe outposts for the few Americans that were stranded. There are still a few Americans out there but many actually want to stay. All in all only 13 casualties for such a huge evacuation is pretty amazing. Biden is an American hero that finally pulled up out of the biggest military embarassment in history, something Trum promised to do but never did-like everything else he promised. Biden is not responsible for the thousands of America deaths and trillions of dollars of debt caused by our misguided fiasco over there because he wasn't President at the time. Who do you find responsible for that Barry?

Posted by: Paul Emery | 11 September 2021 at 04:19 PM (On September 11, no less.’

Well, the other airport was not left open. There were no escape outposts for Americans that were stranded. Trump wasn’t President at the time. Who do you find responsible for that, Punchy??

Bill Tozer

Paul Emery @ 10:34

“In your very brief critique of the Afghanistan situation you do not mention in any way the neglected responsibility of.....blah, blah, blah”

Au contraire. My ‘very brief critique of the Afghanistan situation’ was not brief nor a
critique of the Afghan situation. It was and is a critique on you, Paul Emery. Very personal. It was about Y-O-U. You, the guy in your mirror. His name is Paul Emery.
The man for partisan purposes (partisan hack) that after off- loading caskets of dead soldiers week after week finds himself defending Leaving Americans Behind. Now, I do not really believe that leaving Americans behind is fine with you as your position, but I do believe it is your current position necessitated out of being a partisan hack.

My critique of you.

Paul Emery

You quote me as saying some aspect of the Afgan fiasco as a "good war". I never said that that. Show me where I did.

Americans are still leaving Afghanistan Bill. I don't defend leaving them behind. Some seem to want to stay. Biden is committed to providing for the eacuation of all Americans who want to leave. Lets see how he does.

When have LIBS learned from their mistakes Emery?
Good luck with that.

Paul Emery

Whose "mistake" was it that we stayed in Afghanistan 20 years and that increased our deficit 2.5 Trillion dollars. Or perhaps, in your view it wasno mistake at all. Which one is it Walt?

Walt.....enjoy watching Punch distract, distract, distract from the ineptitude of Joey Fingers administration!

Bill Tozer

“Biden is committed to providing for the eacuation of all Americans who want to leave. Lets see how he does.”

Paul. We have no one on the ground to facilitate the evacuation of Americans who want to leave. No one. Makes it kinda difficult considering how,our current State Department operates. The rats left that ship days ago. Looks like we will be paying ransom to the terrorists to ‘allow’ them to leave.

Of those Americans who want to stay....ever wonder why? Hmmm? It because as the American civilians and their spouses and children (Afghanis) went to the airport to be flown out of hell, the US State Department told them that they are taking only American citizens at the time. Only US citizens. So, the American civilians in Afghanistan decided not to leave their wives and family behind. They would rather die in that hellhole than left their families behind.

Now, after all is said and done, they cannot make it back to the airport. Taliban looking for their women to rape and marry the 12 year old daughters. Maybe just kill then after raping them.
I suppose you would leave them behind since you support Biden. I would not. I would defend my family first, here or abroad. Leaving someone at the alter ain’t my gig. It is a man’s job to defend his wife and kids. To be their protector. Of course you probably could not relate.

So, we are 100% at the tender mercies of the Taliban to get our citizens out. Trump had to get 60,000 Chinese American citizens out of China and was severely criticized for allowing planes full of “Chinese” to enter the US. He was not going to leave them their. They are US citizens, afterall.

How do we facilitate getting Americans out when they is no US State Department personnel on the ground? Each woman for herself. Thank God for our brave civilians going back in to save their fellow citizens.

BTW: those civilians that were killed along with the thirteen Marines outside the wall at the Kabul Airport? Well, Glenn Beck’s listeners came up with $35 million get Afghan Christians, women, orphans, babies, and Afghani men out. There were 400 souls Beck paid to be rescued through private groups of ex-vets and locals and secret sources to protect their identity. Moved around. They allowed only one night at a safe house per family then had to go. Very dangerous. Many hours on the phone with the State Department at first, then days of no reply. Even Senators got the cold shoulder from State.

They finally made it to outside the airport. They had been standing outside in a open sewer for 24 hours waiting and hoping against hope to be let in, papers all in order. Finally, after standing up to their knees in raw sewage, they were let in.
The AF commander at the airport told his troops to immediately get them off the grounds. Get them out of here! Only American citizens could stay inside. The AF commander has since been relieved of duty.

So, the group of 400 was forced back outside the airport and stood again in the sewage waiting. They were there for about one hour before the suicide bomber approached killing the 13 Marines. One woman....just one woman of the group survived the blast and thanks to private citizens of the US, she is here in the US. One out of 400. Worth every penny of it.

‘War is Hell’ —-George Armstrong Custer.

Well, Biden certainly has bigger problems than Afghanistan on the domestic front. Seen what the American public think of his new Vaccine Mandate? Its going over like a hard-on at a nudist colony. Big thumbs down.

Just like our new man made border crisis, the colossal fuckup withdraw in Afghanisan was all man made, Biden made. The Biden Plan. It simply did not have to be that way.

Joe Biden is doing all he can to get Americans, Visa holders, and SIVs out of Afghanistain. That scary thought is what concerns me most. Who in the hell is in charge?

'Biden State Dept. Went Silent For A Week After Congressional Office Asked For Help Evacuating Americans From Afghanistan: Report'

Scott O

Paul the idiot - "Lets see how he does."
He's already done it!
13 American soldiers dead totally needlessly.
Abandonment of any leverage we had over the Taliban.
Equipping the Taliban with billions of dollars worth of war materiel.
Panic and chaos leading to who knows how many other civilians dead - again for no reason.
How does Biden 'undo' all of that, Paul?
Paul - "Trump! Bush!"
Really picked us a winner, Paul - a total bunch of F'ups and even the Dems are admitting it as well as the rest of the world.
Biden has handed Afghanistan over to the Taliban and the Chinese just like the CCP told him to do.
Biden lied and because of it people died.
And Paul is cheering him on.

Paul Emery

Who is responsible for the 4000 Americans both military and civilion that died in Afganistan before Biden was President?

Don Bessee

Can the ponytail of ignorance get anything right @237? -

Since the start of U.S. military operations through to April this year, 2,448 American service members have been killed in Afghanistan, according to data from Linda Bilmes of Harvard University's Kennedy School and the Brown University Costs of War project, as reported by the Associated Press. An additional 3,846 U.S. contractors also lost their lives.

That's Emery, dodge and ignore. You stuck on STUPID Emery.
Not even a one trick dog and pony show.

The ONLY two you can blame is Bush and Trump. That's a good party member.

No answers to my simple questions? Not enough Haldol?

Your lack of denial must say a resounding "YES" to my inquiries.

Kinda like a criminal standing on the 5TH.. Yup,, guilty as hell.

Paul Emery

Thanks for correcting me Don. Let me re-write my 2:37:

Scott and now Don, who is responsible for the 6294 American military and contractors that died in Afghanistan before Biden was President?

Don Bessee

Osama bin laden asked and answered ad nauseum oh great pony tail of ignorance @3 you boy creepy grampa joe just lost his only positive -

Only 48 percent of U.S. adult respondents approve of Biden’s handling of the coronavirus crisis with 49 disapproving. In August, those numbers were flipped. Fifty-three percent approved and 40 percent disapproved.

Paul Emery

I would include Obama in that Walt (2:37) . Don't say I didn't respond.

Paul Emery

Didn't think you followed Polls Don. This is a change!

Here Emery'
"Barack Obama. The antiwar candidate of 2008 who had pledged to turn around Afghanistan — the “good war” to George W. Bush’s “bad war” in Iraq —"

So Your saying "yes" to all my questions.. Got it.. Thanks.
That makes you pro genocide. Got it. Thanks.

That question about Korea really has you over a barrel.
It's still an ongoing war Emery.
My Son in laws know this VERY well.

Bill Tozer

When Trump was President, he told Little Rocket Man to knock his shit off. All those missle tests and threats against S. Korea, Japan, and even US soil.
Remember "we got a bigger button? Oh my, the fainting couches were occupied and full.

Through Trump's talks with North Korea, the little rocketman was allowed to test short range missles but not long range missles. The lefty ignorant press mocked Trump as a failure when Kim Un fired off some missles. But, they were short range missles, not long range. Not in violation of the deal. The art of the deal.

All the above to say that now that we have The Coward of the Country in charge, North Korea is launching long range missle tests.

'Fuck Biden. Whats he doing to do about it?' is Little Rocketman's response to Biden. They must have been watching Sleepy Joe in action giving the Taliban all the carrots after removing ALL the sticks.

Iran was watching too. Trump had them on their knees crying Uncle. First thing Biden did was drop all the sanctions and now their nuclear program is all ramped up and in overdrive traveling at a high rate of speed.

I hope Biden does not touch the Middle East any more than he has already.

Odd that the first stick The Biden Plan gave the Taliban was Bagram. You know, that easily defensivable military airfield in Afghanistan that has China, Russia, and Iran touching her borders. When Biden said "over the horizon" defense, he was not joking.

Even Corn Pop is boasting about taking Creepy Sleepy Joey Fingers behind the gym and tearing the coward a new one.

Bill Tozer

Worth watching the video clip contained within the link. Very well worth watching. Rob Portman.

The fat kid didn't try this when Trump was around.

Paul Emery

Simpls answer. Korea wants us there and is willing to defend their country. Afghanistan doesn't want us there, their leader split with millions of American money and the military joined the enemy. Tell me, why should we be there.

Don Bessee

@435 - You seem to forget that the germans and japanese didnt want us there till decades later.

Really Emery? Care to tell that to those fearing for their lives today? Of course the Taliban and ISIS don't want us there..(Dumbass)
Is that why when we started pulling out the president of Afg. got out of the country as fast as he could?

Go sell that idea of yours to Seattle.

So halfwit Emery, N. Korea don't want us there either.
Same with Cuba.
Good thing the U.S. don't subscribe to the world according to Emery.

Bill Tozer

Taliban Bad. Always worth watching 30 seconds (or more) from the Brits.

Commie bastards in our schools gets worse and worse.

Paul Emery

South Korea is where we are Walt in case you forgot and they want us there. Are you advocating we should pull out? If not why are you bringing this up?

Barry Pruett

We should not be in any of these countries Paul. That said, we also should not leave Americans in terrorist countries

Bill Tozer

oh boy. The NYT, Politico, and Raw Story will not like this one bit. The story to take down Rick De Santis via follow the bouncing magic ball was just another fantasy by the unhinged left.

'Matt Gaetz calls for two more tied to $25M extortion scheme to be charged after one indicted'

Don Bessee

We saw that one coming after creepy grampa joe did the bagram bungle! -

DUBAI (Reuters) - Iran, emboldened by the messy U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, is betting that its new hardline cabinet -- including Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani -- can force concessions in talks on Tehran's 2015 nuclear deal with world powers.

Punchy, the folks responsible for the death s of American service folk are the folks that killed them.

I thought you knew the basics.

Paul Emery

And who is responsible for putting them in harms way, at least the military?

Enlistees or draftees?

Scott O

Paul - "And who is responsible for putting them in harms way, at least the military?"
In the case of the 13 dead American service personnel, Biden is responsible.
They should have been operating out of Bagram and the suicide bombers would not have been able to get near them.
Wondering when Biden will bring them back to life per Paul's insane ideas.
And when will the Taliban give us back the billions of dollars of military equipment Biden handed to them?
Yes, we know - "Bush! Trump! Bush! Trump!"

Bill Tozer

Well, the bottom line is all US personnel is out of Afghanistan. Elvis has left the building. We are out.

Guess I could go round and round with Paul. I say Biden is accountable for his role for the handling of closing the door to 20 years in the Muslim tribal land and Paul keeps looking for who is to blame for getting us there. Or, to put it more precisely, he may admit vaguely that mistakes were made by Biden, put others are more to blame! None of this would be happening if we weren’t there in the first place. Yeah, I use the same argument when an illegal alien murders some sweet college co-ed riding her bicycle on a country lane going to see her Grandmother. If...if...if. “You shoulda coulda woulda until you shoulda all over yourself.”

Biden is not above criticism Paul. He has been blasted from all sides. Shocked to see what Stolen Valor Sen. Blumenthal lay into Biden along with corrupt Sen South Jersey Robert Menendez.

Don’t be like Biden, Paul, and blame the military or bad Intel or the military for this black eye. And all Biden wanted was the glorious optics of marching bands and waving farewell from Kabul on 9/11. Perfect. Not. It became amateur hour. ‘Hey, those people left behind have dual citizenship. They are not really US citizens, are they’?’ says our Commander-in-chief. The dog whistle Divider-in-Chief.

That is why I repeatedly use the word ‘accountable’ when discussing the topic with you. Biden is not held responsible for Afghanistan, put he sure as hell is accountable for the decisions he made. Unless Sleepy Cranky Old Joe made no decisions and it’s all news to him.

Yes, I am glad we are out. As far as the blame game, I blame the terrorists who attacked us on September 11, 2001 for our being in Afghanistan in the first place. Easy peasy. As the Soviet Union found out what was so unique Afghanistan is that you can take over the Capital but only control 10% of the land.
When we got first got there, the Northern Alliance controlled the north and Al Qada. As we leave, the Northern Alliance is being wiped out and the Taliban control everything and the whole country is run by terrorists. A Jihadist State. What happened to the Northern Alliance? A: night vision goggles. The Taliban always have wanted to fight at night but could not because of darkness. Now they can. And the Northern Alliance is being flushed down the toilet.

Once more around the park, James. It’s the last time until the next time. Ted Cruz grills Sec of State, states what is my view in 4 quick brief points. Start at 2:00 minutes for quick peek.

....And who is responsible for putting them in harms way, at least the military?"

I didn't know you were so ignorant not to know the draft ended in 1973.

>I didn't know you were so ignorant not to know the draft ended in 1973.

The last person drafted was in 1972
Men born between March 29, 1957, and December 31, 1959 are the only ones immune from Selective Service.

Barry Pruett

I was thinking about the same issue that Gregory brings up. These men are enlisted. They chose to be there. They chose to defend and protect our country and the Afghan citizens. I play softball with a guy who lost his leg. He was doing his job and duty. But they did not choose but to be betrayed by our leaders and their superiors. The men and women that died prior to August of this year died while attempting to achieve a mission which was given to them by the American people. The last 13 men and women that died, died in a mission that was completely FUBAR from the beginning. That’s on Biden.

DAMN Emery! Were you one of the CIA LSD test studies?
No draft? Then why are all the young'ns having to fill out selective service cards TODAY?

Kinda like saying "gun registration will NEVER lead to confiscation" Now we have that "red flag" law.. Cops can come in and take s person's guns without ever committing a crime.

OH WAIT!! Your were dead set against POT FARM REGISTATION
Now what was your reasoning about that again?

Punch, I celebrated the ending of the draft as I was in college and didn't want to be drafted to be a pawn in a geopolitical chess game... at least 9/11 happened, unlike the Gulf of Tonkin excuse.

So, you knew they had enlisted of their own free will, and yet you had to ask who put them in harm's way?

Paul Emery

Who was commander and Chief during the Afghanistan War and was responsible for decisions and strategy Gregory?

"These men are enlisted. They chose to be there. " -BarryP

I suppose one thing that is true is that their bosses never changed. Essentially the same 'strategic' thinkers under Bush II, Obama, Trump, President Potato.

From the outside looking in, it seems like Trump gave a good shot to upsetting the applecart of a dysfunctional nomenklatura, but not even the God-Emperor was up to the task. Trump not only had value in uncovering just who the crazy people are, like a fuse in dynamite, but in showing that merely capturing the executive branch is insufficient for any meaningful change.

Don Bessee

Note to the ponytail of ignorance, young men still have to register for the draft, DUH!

I didn't know you were so ignorant not to know the draft ended in 1973.
