George Rebane
Our cowardly president gives us more reasons daily to loath him and fear his administration. Among his ongoing tsunami of lies is the blatant whopper that he has done all he can to secure our borders, confident that his ignorant constituents know nothing about how President Trump implemented his border policy with illegal entry rates that were more than an order of magnitude lower than what Bumblebrain has foisted on the country during his watch. Now he is fearful of starting a war with Iran after that country has been at war with us for years, and has been freely attacking our ships, bases, and killing our troops.
As noted previously in these pages, Rebane Doctrine has called for the destruction of Iran's infrastructure that generates terror supporting revenues in violation of established but unenforced sanctions, and lets it now direct attacks on American bases, naval forces, and international shipping. The idiot does not understand that in warfare it only takes one to tango.

What happened to Trumps PROMISE to build the wall and that Mexico
was going to pay for it?

Punchy, there were all those folks who didn't want it to happen. Folks like you.
The "resistance".
There were down payments by Mexico, inherent to trade pacts.
When and if Trump wins in November, he'll have another chance at it.

"Punchy, there were all those folks who didn't want it to happen. Folks like you."
He's forgotten already.
I remember all the court challenges, posturing (D) politicians, uproars and protests, bitching about the cost (trivial in the scheme of things), super uproar about any raids against the more heinous employers of illegal aliens.

Now, why the Sierra Club and the ACLU are involved in this is not clear to me. Feature creep I guess.

I'd actually respect these people a bit more if they simply admitted that they are pro-open border...the founding culture of the US is inferior and that we are better off letting the world move in. Instead it's always trickery and mirrors. Handwaving about secondary issues. Feh.

Sierra Club sold out like a common whore! You can do anything you want to her for the right price! Probably best to think of the Sierra Club as the $PLC of the environment!

That money was due anyway and it's a total afterthought by Trump to say it was a down payment. You are truly a Trump Chump total and complete. Trump had a Republican House and Senate first two years and a Repub Senate the last two and still he couldn't get anything done. What legislation did Trump propose, initiate and pass in his four years other than tax cuts for the wealthy?

Nothing done?
Three Justices appointed and confirmed, and while they weren't asked they'd probably have responded Adult Human Female if asked "what is a woman?", the memorable question asked of Biden's nominee.
What is a woman, Punch?
Dems had a lock on the House all four Trump years, and were, well, Pelosi whipped through and through. GOP congresscritters didn't take marching orders like Dems did.

"What is a woman, Punch?"
A foggy memory at this point, I'll wager.

Gentlemen - Please pay attention to the subject of this post; it's not a hard concept.

I enjoy watching CBS Face the Nation. Kytsten Cinema gave an excellent explanation of the Senate border bill this morning.
She dispelled a lot of the BS that's been passed around in Republican circles of partisan jerks.
It sounds like George has been listening to John McCain's chant, bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran π a little too many times.
The Rebane doctrine is sounding more like the Putin doctrine if he thinks it's all fine and dandy to just start bombing targets in Iran. His idea sounds a lot like that of the religious whackjobs in Iran who hope to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.
I found this tidbit on Wiki,
"As of 10 March 2023, diplomatic relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia have been restored due to Chinese-Iraqi brokered talks,[121] which could have positive implications in the political climate of the Middle East.[122] The deal was concluded after Iranian agreement to stop its military support for the Houthi militants in the Yemeni civil war.[123][124]"
I guess the "hooties" still had some weapons laying around that they didn't know what to do with so that's that's why they started attacking ships in the Red Sea. Apparently, that doesn't violate the terms of the Chinese brokered deal.
What I would like to know is by what routes are the Iranian drones coming into Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Russia. Those sound like they would be fun target practice. Let Iran spend the money to build the drones, but blow them up before they reach their destinations.
I would assume that the US knows the locations of The Iranian drone factories, or other facilities that make the parts for the drones. Are any of the travel routes of the drones or their parts through shithole countries that Russia or China are trying to get their claws into?
George needs to calm his itchy trigger finger. There are plenty of ways to get back at Iran without invading their sovereign territory.
We still don't yet know the extent of the recent sorties against military targets, or what other adventures Biden has planned for Iranian proxies. The wack-a-mole continues...

It is clear that IJ has difficulty understanding how Putin's Ukraine invasion is different from our responding to Iran's ongoing one-sided war with the United States. And he also has not carefully read the several Rebane Doctrine entries about the spectrum and timing of preferred and more effective US responses over the last several months. Complicated stuff for the casual thinker.

George, We may be in a cold war with a select few countries, but we are not "at war".
Stand back, and stand by.
Nothing is off the table.
